Sharif Ahmed Islam names the merchant ship he captured Antiqam Smy ("Summayyah's Revenge" in Arabic), after the first female Muslim to be killed for her beliefs. He gives the ship to his Jordanian first mate Khalid Ibn Ali Hamdan, after that members of the ship's crew handing out leaflets promoting the cause and asking them "Want a chance be a hero and get paid well?" in an attempt to recruit them.
