In the emergency session of the National Assembly a brawl took place when the Ratsirana National Congress deputies informed the National Assembly of their departure from it, leaving their seats vacant as summarized by the Hon. Artemis Mukhonzi

''We do believe that the actual socio-economic situation of disparity in the nation and the inability for us to have a say in national matters leaves us with one possibility, that of supporting the RNLA-MA insurgency, therefore we retire from the national assembly in bloc''.

The Broad Front government party accused the RNC of political immaturity, terrorism-related charges and not having at heart the necessity for peace for the country to prosper.

President Asande was present and with a serious tone expressed his thought.

''You don't have a say because elections took place and we received a large majority, we offered early elections, i offered to step down and let place to my VP, the only legitimate course for a political shift in a democratic nation but it's clear that you aren't interested in neither reconciliating our people nor to democracy itself, low-lifes like you can't stand a chance in a civilized nation with integrity and independent institutions, so your only way to have power is to spill the blood of our countrymen''.

The alterctation continued for more than half an hour until the RNC members actually left their seats in the National Assembly.

Minutes later the session-restarted with members of the left-wing Broad Front and the centre-right National Reconciliation Party only which unanimously voted to strip RNC deputies of their immunity and temporarily, declare a state of emergency and give the powers of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs directly to the military command, headed by President Asande and General Knowledge Kilani.

It was 7pm, the office was silent and gloomy as a man opened the door, casting some bright light from the corridor onto the office's sole desk. The man wore a blue coat that was decorated with various military ribbons and medals. He strode over to the desk, beginning to gather his documents left strewn about the surface of the desk when the blinking display of the fax machine in the dark corner caught his eye, indicating he had received a message. How long had that been there? The man walked over to the fax machine and pulled out the page containing his message.

This message is to notify you that as per the Department of Information's suggestions, the higher-ups have decided to make plans regarding the Ratsiranan incident in their National Assembly earlier this morning. We don't know how likely this is, but they have said if violence breaks out in Ratsirana they want to support provide support to President Assande. I'm hoping you will be to direct these efforts if/whenever they happen. You should also know that the C.A. has already set a very tight budget for any sort of support we may provide. They are probably wary and do not want to get too invested in a country that barely knows we exist. You should probably pack your bags early so you are not caught off-guard like when they sent you to Bigtopia! This is all currently classified until they make some public announcement if they want to go help Assande, so do me a favour and don't tell anyone you've received this, otherwise the DOI will bust my balls over it.

In a weekly press conference, the President made an announcement regarding this situation answering a reporter's question.

Thank you for your question, reporter. Yes, I have been made known of this situation, as with Prime Minister Stone. We have come to a decision, following a short discussion between the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defence, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs that we shall stand steadfast in support of the elected cabinet of Ratsirana, and we urge all parties to exercise utmost restraint in order to restore democracy. I, as with Mr. Prime Minister, applaud the decision President Asande has taken to appease the public, and urge the RNC to engage in dialogue with the elected Ratsiranan government.

Southern neigborhoods of Beno City, 25/10/2020 19:00



Security in the area was tight as today the Kupenya Zuva Ndoni-centric festivities were taking place but what the armed forces feared actually took place.
A truck filled with explosive material swept across the crowd.
The explosion left 48 dead and hundreds of injured, including the Mayor of Beno City - Southern District.

The Military Command declared martial law in Beno and adjoining areas, but left out the rest of the country in fear of provoking an increase in tensions.

After the attack door-to-door searches took place, people outside their homes were arrested in the dozens and cases of abuse of power were registered, although the military command was quick to condemn them.

President Asande ordered all flags at half mast, three days of closure of public offices and schools and blocked the road linking Beno City with Sherunga, the main link with the rest of the Mbeni-majority south.

He also signed a presidential decree that will authorize the use of $ 50mn from the National Cobalt Reserve Fund for direct payments to citizens of the underdeveloped areas of the south and investments in the same area, with an other $ 150mn awaiting the approval of the National Assembly in the next days.

The President presented the decree on national tv, warning that while the government understood the necessities of the Mbeni people and this was a direct reaction to their perceived alienation, people should not come to the conclusion that economic benefits will come if the level of violence is increased, quite the opposite would happen in fact.

The PIMARAT Command put their flag at half mast and so did the most important public buildings in Kergstan.

Doors of the clinics in the military bases of Enarengi and Pangari were opened to around 50 injured while a Mil Mi-26 was converted into a moving temporary flying clinic which reached south Beno City to help people right in the area of the deadly accident.

100 troops in T-90s and Gaz Tigr IMVs moved to secure the Beno Bridge while small teams specialized in urban fighting and detonation were placed all around the city.

The PIMARAT command also requested the kergstani government for an increase in troops and equipment.

The Armed Forces launched an offensive this morning in Lakiba as the local barracks were attacked in the night by RNLA-MA insurgents who quickly took control of the town.

The town is in the midst of lush forests therefore the small aerial capabilities of the Armed Forces are nullified, teams of RNLA-MA hide in the forest only to catch government forces unprepared and slaughter them.

Although the government forces now control most of the town they're surrounded by the RNLA-MA Guerrillas, the troops requested support.

On the Piikalan Capital Island of Viti Levu in the War Pagodas Africa Commands planning room:

The Piikalan generals sat around a large sitting table in front of them, a large glowing touch screen showing the African continent as a Piikalan general dressed in a black Kimono with a large ‘Ahu ‘ula draped over her shoulder bows towards the room. She lifts her head and says in Piikalan, “My fellow generals as you can see several conflicts are going on in the African continent, but I would like to direct your attention to the Ratsirnan nation. Where our Kempeitai agents have reported the movements of troops in a second civil war, may I suggest to my fellow general that we interfere in this conflict to test our new weapons and troops on live targets.” Soon after the meeting ends and the Piikalan general decide to intervene in the conflict and order the launch of a long-range attack drone by a Piikalan submarine off the coast of Africa. To attack the Ratsiran military base near Katima to send a message to the Rastrian government.

Several hours later in the Imperial Piikalan Air and Space drone operations centre in Manchukuo:

Weapons officer Private first class Naka and Captain third-class Lee sat in a dark control room. Captain Lee, at the command of the Haehae long-range stealth attack drone his hands on the control stick of the drone as it slowly flew above the clouds. As Captain Lee flew the small stealth drone his counterpart, Private Naka slowly looked through the drones interface checking the large mass of missiles, guns, and bombs the large drone carries.

21:00 somewhere over the village of Ubute:

The large grey Haehae stealth drone slowly flew over the Ubute river it’s small turbofan engine slowly pushing the large delta-winged craft along over the clouds. It’s thermal cameras looking down on the village and the villagers below casting a red and orange picture of the shacks and buildings below. After a few minutes, the sound of the drones turbofan engines started to decrease. The drone started it’s a descent to avoid any descending or ascending air traffic from the nearby airport. Its cameras started to focus on the lights coming from the military base on the horizon it’s weapons arming themselves and getting ready to launch. After a few minutes, the drone got within three kilometres remaining undetected, and it suddenly opened up its weapons bay. Revealing two anti-personnel missiles filled with buckshot and two other missiles filled with napalm and explosives. The missiles were quickly fired by the drone and raced across the sky till they landed in the middle of the base sending up a massive explosion and metal racing into the buildings and vehicles around. As the napalm ignited by the explosion covered several buildings and raced across the base's parade grounds setting fire to the things it touches. While the Piikalan drone flying overhead opens up with a volley of depleted uranium anti-tank rounds peppering the base. The drone, only a kilometre from the base pulls up circles around and flies back the way it came it drops a small silver canister. Inside is the following message is written in Hebrew:

“The skies shall turn orange with the rising sun. The earth shall flow with the blood of the socialist that stood. For the Judgement day shall be near.”

After some days of planning, the Central Administration of the Slovik government has finally decided to send a message to the Ratsiranan president offering aid in suppressing the rebellion via military support.

Dearest President Assande of Ratsirana,

We in Slovi Ulandstan have heard of the violence within your country that is beginning to spiral out of control. As a fellow socialist government, we believe it is our duty to help those who share similar ideology to ours. For this reason, we are offering you and your country limited support in the fight against those who wish to see your country fractured and you dead. We are able to send 500 infantry for assistance, who will be commanded by a representative of one of our finest generals. We are also able to send you some medical equipment to treat any injuries that are sustained as a result of fighting. Please reply hastily.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives slammed the gavel onto the desk, signifying the start of the afternoon session.

"Pursuant to Article VI, Section 2 of the Constitution, the House of Representatives will come to order. All Representatives must return to their seats and record their presence via electronic device. A time limit of fifteen minutes shall be placed to determine if there is a quorum."

The bell rang, Within 15 minutes, most of the Representatives have arrived in the chamber, and a quorum is present.

"Pursuant to the Rules of the Parliament, I hereby declare that the Afternoon Session of the House of Representatives on 27 October 2020 is opened. The current paused agenda item is the Bill of Authorisation of Military Deployment Towards Ratsirana. Does anyone object the resumption of debate?"

WIth no objections, the House of Representatives proceeded to debate the bill. Fortunately, all members remained calm and reasonable. A notable moment was caught on camera.

The State Department of Military Affairs and the whole Government of Kergstan denounces the inadmissible use of unconventional weapons used by Piikala in the conflict, an unprovoked overuse of military power which will have consequences for the years to come on the civilian population in a highly urbanized area.

We request that all nations and entities participating in the conlifct desist from using such kind of weapons again, if Piikala will not desist Kergstan will be forced to launch conventional ICBM strikes towards Edo, Yuki Hana.

The PIMARAT forces activated all the short-range, medium-range and SPAAG systems present in the Ratsiranan territory.

Following the bombing in Ratsirana, flags in Langenia were flown at half mast. A message of condemnation was sent concerning the recent bombing in Ratsirana.

The Langenian Revolutionary Marine Corps Marine Rapid Response Force-Africa (MRRF-A), based in the neighboring African nation of Ligin, is placed on alert, ready to rotate to Ratsirana. Part of the Langenian Revolutionary Army's Parachute Regiment Special Forces, a helicopter squadron, and all of the Langenian Revolutionary Air Force's 17th Wing is forwarded to Ligin. Now all that remains to be seen is if the Ratsiranan government will accept Langenia's offer of support and permit Langenian troops on their soil...

The Imperial Piikalan government's official statement on the claimed attacks and nuclear threat by the Ratsiranan Government:

The attacks on the Ratsirianan nation is truly tragic, and the horrendous loss of life is truly horrid. Yet the Imperial Piikalan armed forces and the Piikalan Self Defense forces after thorough investigation have shown no evidence of Piikalan forces movements in the region. Yet the threat of nuclear attack on our nation will be deemed an act of war on the Imperial Piikalan state and self administrative territories if the Ratsiranan government does not withdraw the activation of their nuclear weapons. We are now also communicating with our satellite states about potential involvement in the conflict.

The Piikalan military goes into DEFCON 2 and orders it’s missile silos and submarines to be prepared to launch. It also orders all Piikalan bombers to be airborne and ready to attack.

Bill of Authorisation of Military Deployment Towards the Republic of Ratsirana

WHEREAS extremist separatists has threatened the security of the Republic of Ratsirana;
WHEREAS the totalitarian regime in india has been indicated to support the separatists;
WHEREAS such egregious action by India shall be halted as per the Enabling of Democracy Act;

1. Short title
This bill may be referred to as the Bill of Authorisation of Armed Forces (2020-5)

2. Scope of Action
This bill shall authorise the deployment of the Armed Forces towards the Republic of Ratsirana upon the approval of the latter in accordance to Chapter IX, Section 4 of the Constitution.

1. Aim of operation
The deployment shall be of a supporting nature. The Armed Forces shall undertake operations in order to:
1. Restore peace to the country
2. Remove any unauthorised armed groups
3. Construct and maintain infrastructure
4. Safeguard Ratsirana's national sovereignty, unity and democracy
5. Any arisen needs as proscribed by the Armed Forces Act.
2. Targeted Groups
The Armed Forces shall be authorised to utilise military force against the following groups, any part thereof, any derived, related or otherwise endorsed organisations by the following:
1. The Ratsiranan National Liberation Army -- Mbeni Awakening (RNLA-MA)
2. Any other organisation or group as arisen and deemed expedient by the local authorities of the Republic of Ratsirana.
3. Theater of Operations
The Armed Forces' personnel and equipment allocated towards the operations as defined above shall be authorised to operate in the following locations, or any part thereof:
1. The Republic of Ratsirana.
2. Any other location as deemed expedient by the local authorities.

3. Expiry
This authorisation shall expire on 1 November 2021, unless extended by further legislation.
