After months of doubt the big question was verified, Kreuzmont have developed its own nuclear weapons. The government of Kreuzmont already had declared the creation of its nuclear weapons since january but Alliance forces thot the declaration was false, just a lie made to criple Östenbergian defense, but all this speculation was proved wrong when today at 7:29 Am the citys of Vöskän and Werlövet in the United Nordja were awaken by a large bright light comming from the Kreuzmotian side of the border followed by a blast that shoke the houses and trees of the small farmlands, thousands ran into the street in their pajamas staring at the mushroom cloud forming in the distance, half an hour after evacuation started and military personnel floded both cities, Östenberg desperatly trying contact with the Commowealth until 8:19 when Kreuzmotian government confirmed that it was a nuclear test and replied to the acusations of disturbance in 2 cities with "sorry the bomb was stronger than expected" making a visible threat to Östenberg.The news flooded the midia and by afternoon Ädröhör adressed the nation and confirming the new nuclear threat that Kreuzmont represented and how this action was unresponsible and could had lead to lost of thousands of Östenbergian lives, he also mobilized the United Nordja army in the border for protection. Other cities next to the explosion radius were also evacuated with the capital of the United Nordja being put into marsial law. A new nuclear power rise while the international community panic and fear a now possible world scale nuclear war.

SUCCESSFUL TEST STRENGTHENS COMMONWEALTH!

After months of development by the Volskarmee in union with our best scientists, the maximum project is done. Kreuzmont is now one of the sole two holders of nuclear power on the world. The Higher Imperial Commonwealth shows itself victorious as it stands on its knees against the northern threat! It now suggests an possible rise of the Commonwealth, which was decaying for years, and in the influence of the Empire on the world as the largest tool against the östenbeлgian conquerors.

The tests, made near the United Nordjan border, have imposed a clear message to the Northern Alliance: they shall start to respect the Commonwealth. The worsening of the diplomatic relation between both blocs, caused by an östenbeлgian overreaction to the incident, have been causing panic in the world community, as the two nuclear superpowers try to settle such situation. Diplomatic reunions have been called by the Ministerium für Auswärtige Angelegenheiten in order to ease the scenario.

As colossal cerimonial parades to show the kreuzmontian military power to the public happened in front of the Reichstag, in the capital city of Küsnach, and lesser events in Aeshia, Niuweik and Mabat, in order to comemorate the achievement, Emperor Leopold II stated that "The Northern Alliance needs to understand that we're a threat, they need to stop underestimating us immediately", and said that the diplomatic meetings, shall they happen, will be "very revolutionary". Additionally, prime-minister Anika Keppler has confirmed the Emperor's aggressive instance, and said that there is ought to be a "cautious approach in what comes to Östenbeлg", and that "while we're open to negotiation, we will NOT give up on raising our armed forces".

While Kreuzmont does a display of their army after the newly developed nuclear weapon, Östenberg mobilizes millions of infantry and motorized manpower to their borders with the Commonwealth in preparation for war. When questioned the government said that "After the unresponsible Nuclear test by Kreuzmont the Commonwealth has displayed and mobilized its forces as they've already won the war even knowing it's not the end, so we shall prepare ourselves to the imminent threat of the Southern bastards".

Also this afternoon United Nordja was put into Martial law and a curfew was put in place between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am, citizens shall be prepared for evacuating the premises at any time in case of war breaking out between the two superpowers. Also on the United Nordja, Östenbergian nuclear weapons were transported to 5 major air force bases to be easily deployed in case of nuclear retaliation, the Air force commander stated that "the threats made by Leopold II are not to be taken easily and we shall be ready to extinct the Volskarmee from our land", while Ädröhör confirmed that he "has all their mainland into the reach of his bombs and won't hesitate in closing their embassies and cutting all the ties with the Commonwealth, including economical ties." which is a serious threat to the Commonwealth because of Östenberg heavy power over the world economy being the largest exporter of cheap raw materials and responsible for over 55% of the world GDP, an economical blockade would mean a market collapse on Kreuzmont and its allies.

A NEW CONFLICT?

Volksarmee troops marching near the border of United Nordja.

After extensive positioning of östenbeлgian armies near it's borders with several states of the Higher Imperial Commonwealth came to public knowledge, the Überverteidigungsrat has enacted a set of counteractive measures. In Nordja, the Volksarmee has stationed large amounts of soldiers,tanks and artillery near it's borders with United Nordja, forming a defensive line on the border, while in Heremus, a coalition between the Volksarmee, Kolonialtruppen Mabat and Niueweik has positioned soldier within strategic borderpoints with the Northern Alliance. In addition, a large kreuzmontian marine fleet has been sent nearby Zwartööd Hai's territorial waters, with several important areas of the country being within reach of naval artillery. Nuclear warheads were transported to important borderpoints Heremus (by aereal means, through the Luftruppen) to undisclosed locations and in undisclosed amounts. On the Insulis Ocean, a nuclear submarine has been positioned near Zwartööd Hai, resulting in several cities being within-range of nuclear missiles. An emergency diplomatic meeting between the leaders of the HIC has been called as to decide what should be done next.

The military escalation of both superpowers can result in a nuclear conflict of tragic consequences, ending civilization as we know it. This has generated panic within the population, and sales of essential resources have skyrocketed, with many stores now lacking these products. The government reassures that it has a emergency plan in case of nuclear conflict, and that there's no need to panic. Many, however, have taken the streets to protest the nuclear escalation, and manifestations have taken Küsnach and other large cities of Kreuzmont.

Government agencies have put in place several measures for citizens of the Commonwealth. For Kreuzmont, those in the northern provinces of Gänsernnau, Eisenstatt and Ostersiedeln who live in cities with more than 200,000 citizens within 500 kilometers of the border are to be evacuated immediately south or to shelters. Whilst in Mabat and Niueweik (only the northern states) a curfew has been set from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM in order to ensure the safety of the citizens. The Emperor Leopold II has taken to a speech on the matter, in which he calls all kreuzmontians to "not give up in this moment of hardship" and to "to be brave in face of this great threat, as we did in the War". The prime-minister has not made any remarks yet.

As the situation has suggested, it is time to put the Operation Schachmatt in place. The placement of nuclear warheads in Eastern Yofei has been debated for quite a while. I know that it might sound aggressive to the Northern Alliance, and might even trigger war, but its ultimately necessary for the securing of our territories in case they decide to invade. Having nukes right at the doorstep of Kamlishi is a good way of retaliating them. Even then, we could use it as diplomatic weight to give us bargaining power. I suggest that we do it secretly for now, to avoid any reactions.

I ask for your authorisation to transport 1 warhead to our base at the capital. We will take care of the rest.

God help us in these difficult times.

Naval Blockade in the Pelotolavian sea, Embassy's lights off and radios silent
19/11/1842

200 Alliance fleet ships patrol the pelotolavian sea

In response to Kreuzmont's actions of war mobilization, Östenberg started a naval security operation blockade on the Pelotolavian sea closing the Östenbergian Heremus channel stoping all military and civilian ships from crossing west to Eastern Yofei and into the Insulis sea forcing any Commonwealth military fleet to go south around Heremus making it harder for the Commonwealth to mobilize its navy on the west. Over 1,000 ships and submarines and other 4,000 planes are taking part in the blockade making it impossible to cross without being detected and are no match for the heavily inferior Commonwealth navy which stands at about 2.300 ships and submarines while the Alliance navy stands with about 3.800 ships and submarines. Ädröhör stated that ships trying to break the blockade will be destroyed and the navy and the air force won't think twice about retaliating.

While order is imposed at sea, Östenberg shows its power inland with mass mobilization of heavy and light tanks on United Nordja and Heremus with up to 100,000 heavy tanks and 50,000 light tanks being taken to strategic positions and the military marches along the border in specific points where the Commonwealth army is camped with the intention to intimidate their army. Inside the mainland embassies were closed and diplomats were taken by the military in a hurry and sent back to Kreuzmont by the Östenbergian air force, all data in the embassies was collected and now an image of diplomatic ruins takes the roads of the capital with the embassies building empty, all lights of the iconic and Kreuzmotian style building are off, the 50 meters high flag pole is empty and the radios are silent, in the ground glass of the broken window and debris from broken doors, the light of the morning reveals wardrobes and desks overturned by GS offiçors and papers and office material on the ground. After taking over the embassy and cutting their communication with their mainland Kreuzmont looked in fear as all their radios to Östenberg were silent for 37 minutes until Östenberg made the first contact explaining the situation.
