"Huh?" asked the KIng.

The guards spun around, "Looks like someone's in the water."

"Well, let's ask this fellow, uhh... Kotera I think, who that was. In the mean time, weapons out. Is that Uzi still in the car?"

"Yeah, we didn't clear it for the festivities."

"I don't think that matters anymore. Get it on the chopper, I want it hear NOW!" He hailed Kotera, "Hey, who just hit the water?"

I spun around on me heel towards the direction of the shouts. Yelling at us - or at least, towards us - waving, was a well-dressed royalty-looking shmuck.

"Who just hit the water?" I repeated the question to myself, before my side to Pentti, and repeating once again, "Who just hit the water?"

"I think it was Ross," he said to me.

"I think it was Alastair!" I yelled out to the royals in a pretend-panic. "Quick, get him out of there!"

I quickly hid my face in an attempt to hide my smile.

Pentti faced me with a stern look. I think he was about to slap me, but I dragged him by the shirt towards the north of the property before he could raise his hand. Scrambling around, looking like we were doing a lot, when really, we were doing nothing, we somehow ended up out of sight, beneath the castle walls.

The ground was completely flooded with some liquid. It reached all the way to our knees.

"Did you just take me to a sewer?" Pentti asked, as we dragged our feet through the substance with minimal resistance. "Again?"

"I thought you liked sewers," I said, looking back at him with a cheeky smile. "Sewer-rat."

"That was one time, and it wasn't a sewer, it was a water pipeline."

"Whatever you say," I said. "Sewer-rat."

The King wasn't playing ball, "Ugh. That man... wait... you are lying! Eh, might as well fish this guy out anyway." The guards pull Ross out. "I'll ask you, who are you?"

One of the guards who wasn't fishing for men came over with a radio, "Sir, the Uzi is coming on the chopper, and we have a few more surprises with it."

"What fun!" the King retorted, knowing full well what the surprises were.

Ross began to sing.

"Almost heaven..."

Once again, the guards would no doubt be coming to him. So he chucked a CS grenade over his shoulder. They would have gas masks, so he also chucked an M-67. The pop of a grenade explosion might not kill anyone, but who wouldn't be hesitant to charge into an area that grenades are going off in?

Ross pushed open a door, and connected the last step of his master plan to the intercom system. He rushed down the stairs, and the last step was complete. Now it was time for the extraction.

"HIT IT, PENTTI!"

The Commissioner APC smashed through the closed gates.

There was a Soviet guard that was there that day. He was about 40, working here for his retirement. He'd fought in Afghanistan, taking on the mujahideen.

He thought it was going to be a quiet job.

He later described the incident as "the whole damn Taliban coming down at once." It was 50 men, as Ross had told Christophe, but these weren't just AWOL soldiers.

They were religious extremists. With heavy weapons. The thunk of mortars began to sound off.

The guard got everyone inside and shut the door. One of the terrorists fired a burst of rounds in the air.

He pressed a button on a remote.

The James Bond theme began to play over the intercom.

Chris just stood long enough to see the APC fly past the entrance, seemingly in mid air, and blow a chunk out of the castle with its 20mm main gun. Kotera started firing his .50 cal.

Chris fell to the floor, right before he would have been eviscerated by explosive rounds.

The APC bounced away. Spray painted onto it were a variety of Chinese symbols, and giant letters that read

GENEVA CONVENTION? MORE LIKE GENEVA SUGGESTION!

"SOMEONE CALL THE ARMY!"

[Trenaka]

Wilhelm would hear the various noises and commotion from outside, and would feel the vibrations caused the the explosions.
“Great. The entire wedding has gone to hell,” he said.
He would walk through the castle, trying to find Christophe.

Mustafa notices Hannah and Esther and rushes to meet them.
“You two. Help. Now. Please?” he manages to say.

As Mustafa runs up to the group, the two SDF bodyguards draw their pistols. Hannah immediately puts her hand up, signalling for them to calm down, shaking her head.

"What's wrong, dearest?" she asks the man.

"So are those guys gonna kill the leaders?"

"Nah. Those mortar rounds are just smokes. They'll probably shoot some RPGs at the building, maybe try to bust down a door or two."

They came up to the checkpoint. Ordinarily, a system, much like the American Barrier1, would deploy and stop the vehicle. While this works well against large trucks and cars, the system is not meant to take multiple HE rounds. The gate was blown off, and the APC bounced through.

"Did I forget to mention that I shorted and burned some of the electronics on the sound system? Meaning nobody can use it unless they replace it?

Without any real clarification, Baby Got Back begins to play over the intercom. It repeats.

I steered the APC through the gate, crashing through and rapidly losing traction as the bricked ground turned into soft dirt and then sand of the Meditteranean beach. Kotera and Ross stood above me, hanging through the window and hatch of the vehicle, firing at god-knows-what. The sound of machine guns was deafening, even louder than the music playing.

Suddenly, there was a loud *bang* all around us, as metal bent and clanked against other metal. The engine stalled. No longer a motor vehicle, and more akin to a shitty roller skate of some giant, the wheels spun out of my control.

My life flashed in front of my eyes as we crashed into the waves.

Underwater, I could still hear that god-awful song, as well as the distinct, manic screams of Ross. That man was genuinely in need of some psychiatric help. He reminded me a lot of Vaas, an antagonist from this old-school 21st-century video game called Farcry 3.

I resurfaced, and immediately began swimming back towards the shore. Bullets hit the waters around me, as guards fired upon the wreckage of our vehicle from up the hill. Behind me, I could hear Kotera laughing maniacally along with Ross, firing back as the two stood on top of the rapidly sinking APC.

After what felt like hours, but must have been only a minute or two, I reached the beachfront. Immediately, I collapsed on the sandy grounds, exhausted. Around me, several guards had already gathered, pointing their guns at me.

"Ah, shit. Here we go again," I thought to myself.

"I didn’t do it all, but everyone else except that Mustafa guy and me did it."
Away from Hans’s face and into history, he said during the explosion:
"DAMN THAT F*CKING ROSS! THIS SOCIALIST BILLIONAIRE MUST DIE!"

"So uh.... How are we gonna get out of this one?"

Now the guards were firing, along with several soldiers, on the armoured vehicle.

"Wait, does he not know this thing is amphibious?"

"That's not gonna stop a Hellfire missile."

"Then I suppose we're gonna have to do plan B. Or C, or something."

He climbed into the back of the APC.

Ross walked out with what appeared to be a Medium Atomic Demolition Munition. It was probably just a bag of bricks with a trefoil on the side.

"Oh God, he's gonna blow!"

"Don't do anything irrational!"

"Kotera, drink this punch and run."

The two sprinted back to the castle, past the guards who were unwilling to shoot a suicidal Ross with a nuke.

"Ross, was that really a nuke?"

"Hell no! It's a bag of bricks with a trefoil on the side!"

"So what's the plan?"

"We're just gonna wait."

The terrorists left, firing in the air as they went.

"Is it over?"

The entire place seemed to be coated in smoke from the mortar rounds.

"I think so."

Somebody turned off the sound system.

[Abbeyverne]

An AAUH-10 helicopter roars overhead, and touches down near the King, who yells, "What took you so long? We almost had Ross!"

Now it appeared a full blown firefight was underway near the courtyard, complete with AKs and RPG-7s.

Now the King's experience as an NCO in the army kicked in, despite his tour having been so long ago: "Ok, civilians in the chopper, if you can shoot, grab something and get out here! Pilot, show that sinking APC what a 20mm chain gun does to armor!"

While Kadrian and the Queen climbed in the chopper, the bodyguards removed their ceremonial outfit, donning fatigues. Five more troops stepped off the helicopter, took one look at the situation, and yanked the charging handles on their MP-10s. One of the bodyguards took the Uzi, another a Stinger rocket launcher, and the other two got Barretts. The king also grabbed a MP-10, he just loved the sound of that gun, and was quite proficient at shooting it, too.

The snipers raced over to some bushes near the wall in a low crouch, and the other eight fanned out.

The helicopter took off. One of the terrorists made the mistake of pointing his RPG at it, and immediately was rewarded with a .50 cal slug to the head. Meanwhile, the pilot took the helicopter out of range of the rockets, and began doing as instructed, hammering the APC with a light burst from the 20mm nose gun. He readied a pair of Hellfires too, just in case.

[Trenaka]

A Trenakan W-25 Attack Helicopter would fly above the castle, shooting at the terrorists. It would land a couple feet in front of where King Wilhelm was signalling it, and 15 Trenakan Army Special Forces troopers would exit, with bulletproof armor and AG-34 automatic rifles, giving the King, Queen, and Prince bulletproof vests.

"Finally!" the King would shout."Now get out there and kill those terrorists!"

"Yes sir!" they would shout, and they would run towards the enemy.

[Greatdux]

"KILL DA TERRORISTS! WA EL-QUŌCHÎNG!"
Those words were sent in by Kúrfermann to the Greatduxian State Security and Duty Agency, to send in 50 MBB/Kawasaki BK 117 helicopters to shoot the terrorist’s terror over the castle.
"Kúrfermann?"
"Ja?"
"Zis bullsh*t must end."
"I think it would."

[Insaanistan]

Mustafa looks to his guards, who are hiding in fear. “Why aren’t you guys helping?” He cries. One of them speaks. “Uh, sir, we only have a pistol each.” Mustafa facepalms. “Oh for the love of- Gimme those.” He says, snatching two of the guards pistols. After loading them, and saying “Bismillah” (In the name of God), he charges out to join the action screaming “Allahu Akbar!”.

King Wilhelm would walk into the helicopter, and grab a AG-34 automatic rifle.
"It's been a long time since I'vehad to use one of these," he said.
He would charge out of the helicopter, following Mustafa, and shooting at the terrorists.
(OOC: this terrorist attack could provide a good scapegoat for my whole "senate bombing" news.)

The VALV-S landed a short distance away from the circling attack helicopter.

The back door opened.

"Damn it, Ross, I told you, I'm not doing operative stuff anymore!"

Nate Barton, probably more well-known as SIERRA 7, was standing in the door.

"I got the drives."

"At the cost of shooting fifty people!"

"Let's go. Oh, Kotera, your friend. He'll do fine. Here, take this."

He tossed Kotera a rifle and a flak vest.

"Go get em. You're welcome in the SoMac embassy if you can make it there."

The stealth VTOL jet ascended up, and away.

Ross had made it out. Well, not quite.

Ari felt the building shake about her, and laughed. Ha! She had defeated it! That was her doing, that kick had laid it low! She was victorious! She raised her hands in dominance, then fell to her knees as another wave of pain split her head in twain. Another round of vomiting followed shortly after that. Out came what was left of the punch in her system, along with last night's dinner. And then a moment of clarity, as what was in her body became outside of it. For a moment, she sat there, eyes dull and unthinking, until little by little her mind returned to her.

She was sitting in a pool of her own vomit with her dearest friend unconscious on the ground next to her.

That wasn't good. Not at all. And she had... she had been screaming something about her love for John Ross a minute ago? What? That was... disgusting, that had to be a hallucination. And maybe the building shaking had been a hallucination. Hopefully.

Oh, no, there it went again. That was real. And probably Ross' doing.

She had to get up there and deal with him, somehow. If he hadn't been chased off the property again. Slowly, shakily, she stood up again, took a step, felt her left ankle slip out from under her, and fell into the puddle of vomit once more. The punch wasn't all out yet, apparently.

As she laid there, fuming, all she could think was that this tunic was never going to be clean again.

(OOC: Basically, SoMac's leader led some terrorists to the castle, and it is now under siege, although the visiting leaders' respective militaries are responding.)

"We're going into a war zone, Harrison" Elaine Reid yelled as the Electric Volkswagen SUV she and her family were in pulled up to the castle.
"A commitment is a commitment, Elaine, and plus we have Wheeler with us." Harrison replied "I know it's scary, but it's our duty to country. We have Colonel Manson and his division nearby, lest we need to evacuate." He said as the SUV came to a halt. "Thanks for the ride, Henri" Harrison said.
Harrison Reid saluted a guard as they opened the door into the palace.
