OOC Ozymos has made mention that the Syndicate is not going to war or attacking the JSA (at least, for now). That is true. What individual members of the Syndicate do, however, is a different story. But the general consensus is that if we haven't declared a Syndicate-wide declaration, we're not acting as a fully concerted organisation yet. Of course, this may or may not change as time goes, but for now, Ozymos is correct in stating that the Syndicate is not attacking.

****************************************************************************************************
Coalition First Home Fleet - Flagship "Undying Hope" - Coalition Admiralty, Command Junta
****************************************************************************************************
Since learning of the formation of the organization that called itself the "Resolute Syndicate", all three Juntas had been engaged in heated debate for roughly two weeks. Issues, insults, and accusations were thrown back and forth by almost every member of the Admiralty. Strangely enough, one of the most vocal of Admirals, Admiral Ssaliist, was actually in favor of joining the Syndicate, while the most opposed were Admiral Niala Taliah, Admiral of Civilian Services, and Admiral Hailey Allister, Admiral of Commerce.

Despite the fervor of the arguments, slowly but surely support moved in favor of joining the Syndicate. This was a significant event by anyone's reckoning, as until this moment the Coalition as a whole had been vehemently against aligning the Coalition to any "factional power bloc", what the locals of this galaxy often referred to as Alliances. This time however, the Syndicate seemed not to be a federal organization, with a central authority, but rather a true alliance of independent nations who's only tie would be a shared statement of purpose. Finally an "Alliance" had arrived which the Coalition could actually agree with.

When the final vote was called, an amazing seventy-six percent of the Admiralty voted in favor of the motion. The Department of Foreign Relations was then tasked with drafting a communique to the Syndicate...

From: the Office of Enaara Rafal Ur Sidduth, High Admiral of the Diplomatic Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
To: Resolute Syndicate, Diplomatic Offices

After much consideration and debate within the three ruling Juntas of the Coalition Admiralty, it has been determined that the political aims and goals of the Resolute Syndicate, and those of the Morningstar Coalition are compatible, and indeed are mutually beneficial. By this message, the Morningstar Coalition hereby requests entrance into a treaty of alliance and membership within the organization of the Resolute Syndicate. The Coalition requests that a place and time be established whereby the Coalition Admiralty, or it's appointed delegate, may officially ratify and sign to the Doctrines of the Resolute Syndicate, and thereby make official this treaty of alliance and membership.

Signed,
Turehk, Supreme Admiral of the Coalition, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Enaara Rafal Ur Sidduth, High Admiral of the Diplomatic Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Ssaliist of Ikssar, High Admiral of the Division of Defense, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Ghen-Rothar, High Admiral of the Intelligence Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Kashan Dessit, High Admiral of the Justice Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Hailey Allister, High Admiral of the Division of Commerce, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Tanosi Koassh, High Admiral of the Research Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
Niala Taliah, High Admiral of the Division of Civilian Services, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
The Eighteen Admirals of the Species Junta, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition
The Twenty Admirals of the Fleet Junta, of the Morningstar Coalition

Communication from the Immortal Pathogen
The Entity of which all Rethast are a part
The Cure to Existence

The Morningstar Coalition, a group of sentients We are not altogether familiar with, nor one that we trust. However, all life who actively seeks stability for the galaxy must deserve the chance, and the Coalition is held in...warm favour by our allies in the Huerdaen Star Empire. Let it be known on this day, therefore, that the Rethast vote 'Aye' to the entrance of the Coalition into the Resolute Syndicate and that we shall be watching them very, very carefully.

As it is decided, let it be done.

The goals that guide most of the sapient organic beings are frivolous;
We admire this alliance's commitment to the eradication of useless
chaos in the world, mere entropy that unnecessarily costs all species
dearly. The goals of this alliance align with the goals of the Aretecracy,
and it is with a light heart that I hereby declare our intention to apply for

We hope that you will consider our application.

To be sure, the Resolute Syndicate is gray in color. It does not advocate pacifism or freedom, but peace, through force if necessary. It would strike us as an organization that would not shy away from doing what must be done, and this is an admirable quality, just as much if not more so as the morals of those who cling to ideals. Clearly, the composition of the organization is questionable, and indeed there are parts which we might prefer to do without, but these are acquaintances, distant entities who we would not be joined to at the hip, as we would if we were to find ourselves in another similar alliance. They may be kept at tail length apart. To bring order out of chaos is an impossible thing, as has been recognized, but the preservation of what order exists, and all implied states therein, is a noble task, and one worthy of attention.

Thus, the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia formally submits its proposition to be included in the archive of members of the Resolute Syndicate.

Pirates. Scum of the worst kind, who serve no purpose to Existence beyond raiding, terror and war. Their kind can never contribute to Unification, nor to Stability. Let it be known that the Rethast vote "Nay" to the application of the Pirates.

The Kitsune Empire. We are not familiar with their kind, but it is known that they - or representatives of their kind - risked their lives to save invalids, those who stood in the way of Stability. This is honourable, though foolish. This shows their willingness to face death, and in time perhaps they can be educated. Let it be known that the Rethast vote "Aye" on the application of the Kitsune Empire.

As it is decided, let it be done.

From the Office of Enaara Rafal Ur Sidduth, High Admiral of the Diplomatic Corps Service, of the 1st Home Fleet, of the Morningstar Coalition

After due consideration and debate within the Command Junta and the Diplomatic Corps, as well as much review of the relevant files and records, it is the decision of the Morningstar Coalition to vote on the admittance of the following nations, in the following ways:

On the matter of the nation of the Krotos Pirates, the Morningstar Coalition abstains. We have no contact with, nor any information on this nation to determine a suitable course of action.

On the matter of the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia, the Morningstar Coalition votes aye. The Kitsune Empire is a commercial, political, and military ally to the Morningstar Coalition, and would be a welcome addition to the membership of the Resolute Syndicate.

Signed,
