Capitalist Party vs. Bigtopian Lives Matter (MT, Closed)

Story:

The 108th Senatorial Session had ended, world leaders finished touring Kyundao and the delayed executions were finally carried out. Now there was a new problem: the increasing radicalism of the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement. The organization has been known to harass and intimidate innocent non-Bigtopians at passersby in order to shame them and get them to make false confessions, but following the shooting death of a Bigtopian who tried to disrupt the aforementioned executions, the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement have resorted to rioting and looting - ironically at the expense of Bigtopian business owners. Unsurprisingly, the ruling Capitalist Party is pissed at the organization.

Chairman Sung: Fellow citizens, as you have already heard by now, the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement has been instigating riots and looting. Instead of achieving what they claim is their goal, they have made many Bigtopian business owners and residents suffer. If Bigtopian lives matter to this movement, none of this would've happened. Let this be known to these thugs. Harassment and intimidation are unconstitutional, rioting and looting are not legitimate forms of protest, we the Capitalist Party will not sit back and watch. We are coming for you and we will respond in the most harsh manner possible.

One week earlier:

The long-awaited public executions were about to be carried out when a Bigtopian "activist" tried to disrupt the executions. After being told by soldiers and locals to leave multiple times, he attempted to force his way in. The Bigtopian "activist" was shoved to the ground and shot in the head by one of the soldiers in reprisal.

A Populistani governor was forced to wear a sign saying "traitor" in Populistani and subsequently hanged by the neck. Harry Goebbels, a Kenmorian terrorist, was injected with Fentanyl (courtesy of the Nacradians); it didn't take long for heart failure and asphyxiation to kill him. A neo-Nazi rebel leader was disemboweled and left to bleed out; he died soon after.

Present day:

Children were playing hacky sack when trucks carrying armed soldiers began arriving. The Army was called in and they were carrying live ammunition. As usual, the Party Chairman was serious.

Lord Bodie of Switzerland openly supports the capitalists, and condemns the bigtopian lives matter movement, by saying: "I agree with the message of this organization, but looting, breaking the law, and causing anarchy in your community, is no way to handle a situation of such sorts."

Somewhere in one of Kyundao's major cities, Bigtopian Lives Matter "protestors" were burning Kyundaoan flags and loudly chanting slogans like 'Death to Kyundao.' These same "protestors" were also setting buildings and businesses on fire. Then the Kyundaoan Army showed up. Soldiers walked out of the trucks, loaded guns in hand. Their assault rifles resembled StG-44s, but had a more streamlined look. Their combat helmets were recently introduced; like the previous helmets, these looked like the ancient M1 helmet, but were made from composite materials instead of steel. Their body armor was no different than any modern army.

One of the soldiers appeared with a megaphone. He was of Bigtopian descent and he did not like the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement one bit, seeing them as racist hypocrites since the vast majority of them weren't even Bigtopian. He raised his megaphone.

Soldier: This is an unconstitutional gathering. You have one minute to disperse!

The "protestors" were shocked that a literal minority was threatening them. One minute passed and they refused to scatter.

Soldier: Time's up. Open fire!

The other soldiers raised their guns and triggers were pulled. The "protestors" ran for their lives as they were dropping like flies. The whole incident was filmed by several participants and a Skandilundian reporter. One of the "protestors" proceeded to tell the reporter.

Rioter: Save yourself!

Soldiers continued firing on the crowd. Many more "protestors" fell dead.

The Party Chairman did say the Capitalist Party would respond in the most harsh manner possible.

"Bigtopian Lives Don't Matter," yells the figure at the podium, "but we say this: Kyundaoan lives matter even less!"

A rousing applause came from the crowd. Some of the members of audience stood up, grinning and clapping away furiously. More followed suit.

The speaker waited a bit for the applause to die down. He adjusted his tie. Then he spoke again.

"For too long, we have looked at Chairman Sung and his den of snakes meddle in the affairs of the North American people. Spreading their vile, disgusting, degenerate propaganda and lies, forcing it down the ears and eyes of our children," the speaker stretched his arms out into the air, "but this is not the first time we deal with such a threat. We crushed the same judaeo-bolsheviks within our nation, the Blacks, the Heretics, the Untouchables!"

And with a pause for dramatic effect, he spoke again, spit flying out from his mouth, "AND we shall do it AGAIN!"

The crowd abruptly went wild, and cheers broke out, as the curtains began to close and the speaker slinked back behind the stage.

Now, North America is finally cleansed, cleansed from the degeneracy and conspiracy that once plagued it. Our nation has returned at last to its traditional values of Loyalty, Liberty and Love for God. We thought we were finished, that we had at last washed out the last of the filth from our nation, with fury never seen before.

But we were wrong.

The Kyundaoans have long lived in our nation as well, communities of immigrants. At first we saw of them as harmless, ordinary people who were nothing but a tiny, closed off group of people minding their own businesses.

But further investigations have found this to be false. Our police, army and citizens have unearthed more than sufficient evidence to make the case that there is indeed, a Kyundaoan conspiracy against us. A conspiracy to subjugate North America and all her children, brown or white, Protestant or Catholic, man or woman, and bring them under the tyranny of your government. We see now that the Kyundaoan stores and businesses were a front for Kyundaoan intelligence agencies and spies; a front for the dissemination of propaganda; a front for a terrorist cell which we failed to notice at first.

Our nation has now noticed, however, and we have taken the measures to stem such spread. We hence write this letter to you to inform you of our actions and policies:

a) That all Kyundaoans are now barred from entry into North America, as well as all her allies

b) That all the private and personal property of Kyundaoans in North America now belong to the government of North America

c) That all Kyundaoan citizens or former immigrants that have now naturalised within our country will be detained indefinitely within our prison camps and be used as forced labour for reparations due to what they have done to our nation

d) That all Kyundaoans held in our prison camps will not be released until the time which the government of Kyundao has fully paid for their release; a total sum of 5 trillion Won, or 1 trillion USDs

e) That all members of the Kyundaoan embassy to North America will be tried as spies and be punished accordingly, which according to North American law is torture and the death penalty

f) That unless Chairman Sung himself personally issues an apology to the North American nation for the actions of his wretched countrymen, and resign within 24 hours, that a state of war will exist between our 2 nations

g) That once a state of hostilities exist between our nations, all 1.3 million Kyundaoans within our labour camps will be exterminated or worked to death

Similar crack downs played out across Kyundao, some areas having worse violence than others. The worst violence was in Kyundao's biggest city, New Seoul. The situation in New Seoul was unique in that the Bigtopian Lives Matter "activists" demanded that the Army leave, but to no avail. The soldiers did what was already being done in other cities. Guns are fired, rioters and other so-called "protestors" are killed or wounded. Crowds of people flee.

Caught in the middle of this was an aspiring activist who participated along with one of her cousins. More gunshots were fired, more "protestors" flee. The activist's cousin was unintentionally pushed down and trampled to death. The activist was also pushed down, but was lucky; she didn't go unscathed however. Her left hand and several ribs were broken by the fleeing mob. It took a while for her to get back up and when she did, she saw dead and dying bodies around her. She even saw her dead cousin, but before the activist could get to him, soldiers grabbed and handcuffed her. She cried and grieved as she was dragged away to be tried in court.

It seems like the person behind Kyundao is trying to hide behind the veil of an imaginary nation in order to push for his own agenda and further his own beliefs. I have just one problem with that.

Whoever is behind this account is obviously not American or from America. Given the English he uses (which seems to consist of grammatically correct, but lackluster and unnatural writing), I will go out on a limb and guess this person is probably an English-educated person, most likely from an Asian country (South Korea might seem like the case here, given the nature of the account).

This is important as it means he basically knows next to nothing about America, other than what he picks up from his news feed on social media, or local and international news stations, all of which are biased and do not do much in relaying information related to what is happening on the ground. Therefore, because of this, he has no right to judge certain groups or certain people by drawing parallels (false parallels mind you) between his characters and these people.

Okay, back to the story.

The more the violent crackdowns continued, the more the riots died down. Within days, the riots were effectively over. Around 1,000 rioters were killed and several thousand were arrested. As soon as Chairman Sung received word of the results, he was pleased.

The founder and leader of the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement fled the country however. Nevertheless, the Capitalist Party put a large bounty on his head. This was an open bounty, meaning anyone can capture or kill him. The reward: 40 million Kyundaoan won, the equivalent of $40 million.

The Goldgamian government would stay quiet as while looting only hurts businesses, most of them not being connected to any one side, the government is moving straight to slaughtering people to achieve peace, rather than using police or the armed forces to detain anyone, they moved straight to genocide to achieve their wishes, and while Goldgamia condemns unneeded genocide, it also condemns attacking businesses to "make a point". Due to all of these points, King Baran I would not interfere or join any side for the moment, however, due to the genocides, and the extreme legislation of Kyundao, anyone found fleeing will not be sent back, at least for the moment, and will be given funding to make a new life for themselves in Goldgamia.

In the aftermath of the Capitalist Party's violent crackdown on the Bigtopian Lives Matter rioters, independent pollsters and the Party itself conducted polls regarding the Bigtopian Lives Matter movement as well as Chairman Sung's handling of the riots. The results from these polls weren't surprising, particularly among the Bigtopian community, who were hit the hardest during the riots. 79% of Bigtopians disapproved of the movement and 91% of Bigtopians approved of the Chairman's handling of the riots.

The answers from the rest of the Kyundaoan population weren't that different either; 82% disapproved of the movement and 90% approved of the Chairman's handling of the riots.
