As stipulated in our National Constitution, President Diego Desandi convoked elections two months before the end of his term. Today is the date of the elections.
Elections take place within the framework of a single-party system, but different candidates have the right to participate. This year we have a change, we'll be voting virtually in order to avoid Covid-19 outbreak.
Please, feel free to vote together with the people of Ayacucho. The President will take office on Oct 9.
