LOST KINGDOM
Image

The Story:
The date is September 2020, the location: The Osean Continent.
It is three months after a terrorist attack, involving bombings and automatic weapons struck the headquarters of Osean Broadcasting Corporation in Oured. It is two months after power plants connected to the locks of the Futuro Canal mysteriously exploded. In response a vast counterterror operation against the culprits, under the auspices of the Osean Defense Forces is underway in former Belkan territory, triggering widespread protests amongst the Belkan loyalists that remains. Former Belkan officers operating with support from the Greater German Reich has now invited a full on military intervention from the latter in a bid to liberate their lost homelands. Thus the present.

The Rules:
  1. I am OP, and my word is law.
    1. The Greater German Reich is Co-OP.
    2. OP plays Osea
  2. There isn't a minimum posting requirement, however in courtesy to your fellow roleplayers a decent paragraph should be expected.
  3. 3 strikes and you're out.
  4. You already know what level of eternal shame you would bring upon your ancestors should you godmod so I shan't mention it further. :3
  5. Have fun, and stay frosty!

  • Propulsion: solid-fuel ramjet/throttleable ducted rocket, solid-fuel rocket submunitions
  • Additional Notes/Features:
    • Submunitions are comparable to AIM-120 AMRAAM, but a few feet shorter due to reduced range requirements
    • Each submunition can engage a different target, or all 4 can engage the same target
    • Submunitions each have a ~63% probability of kill (same as AMRAAM)
    • Has over a 98% probability of kill if all submunitions engage same target (probability that at least one hits)
    • Submunitions released in sequence at around 50km to target
RIM-169 Apollo:
  • Type: surface-to-air, anti-ship missile defense, terminal ballistic missile defense

  • Guidance: inertial/GPS guidance, semi-active radar, 2-way datalink, active/semi-active radar homing with home-on-jam capability
  • Propulsion: solid-fuel rocket
  • Additional Notes/Features:
    • Predecessor of RIM-171 Athena; still commonly used on ships like frigates that have limited VLS cells as it is considered a better multipurpose weapon than RIM-171
    • Latest versions include software updates that allow it to serve in anti-ship and land attack roles
RGM-111 Fëanar:
  • Type: stealthy anti-ship and land attack cruise missile
  • Unit cost: ~$3.5 million
  • Length: 21 ft, Diameter: 21"

  • Warhead: 1000 lb blast fragmentation penetrator
  • Guidance: inertial/GPS guidance, networked datalink and IIF receiver, terminal active radar and IIR seeker with target/image recognition
  • Propulsion: solid-fuel rocket booster, turbofan engine
  • Additional Notes/Features:
    • Stealthy airframe
    • Performs pseudo-random maneuvers in the terminal phase to throw off CIWSs
    • Capable of autonomous targeting and coordinating attacks with other networked missiles
AIM-154 ALRAAM (Phoenix II):
  • Type: long-range air-to-air missile
  • Unit cost: ~$2.5 million
  • Length: 13 ft, Diameter: 15"
  • Range: 200 nmi
  • Speed: mach 5
  • Warhead: 4 x submunition missiles, 5 lb blast fragmentation each
  • Guidance: inertial, passive and semi-active radar homing, midcourse update via datalink; submunitions: dual mode IIR and millimeter-wave radar seeker
  • Propulsion: solid-fuel ramjet/throttleable ducted rocket, submunitions solid-fuel rocket
  • Additional Notes/Features:
    • Designed as an AWACS and strategic bomber killer
    • Submunitions released a mile from target
    • Submunitions based on NAVAIR Spike and/or Pyros bomb

There we go. Diplomatic reactions at first as Osean news goes telling everybody who cares that somebody has just been prevented from bombing Concorde Square with extreme prejudice.
