Manifesto (TBF): viewtopic.php?f=5&t=489679&p=37505939#p37505939

The Federal Republic officially remains neutral in this election, though multiple political parties have chosen to endorse PM candidates and parties. The Social Democratic Party officially endorses the People's Democratic Movement, the Green Party endorses, well, the Green Party, the Progressive Conservative Party endorses the Royal Assistance Party, the Liberal Democratic Party endorses the Arvenian Reform Party, the Communist Party has decided to endorse two parties, to please the AnCom and Stalinist Factions, and these parties are: the People's Revolutionary Party and the Arvenian Communist Party respectively. Finally, the Libertarian League endorses the Libertarian Party. (whooh, that was a mouthful!) (OOC: Maybe you could set up a poll that would allow you to endorse candidates a bit easier? I know there are too many parties to do individually, but maybe do the main ones and then have an Other Parties option too?)

Hell there. It's me again. I know you gave a relative time for the election (August to September), but since August is nearing I was wondering if you could determine a specific date for the election? Another thing is will the debates be prompted by you or another nation?

OOC: I can postpone the election to September or October (just to give other countries time to endorse any candidate). I will also set up debates and even polls.

I think Amanda Benasquez is a sort of social democrat similar to the ideologies of the Equal Rights Party (for an IC reference) and the Labour Party of Australia (for OOC reference).

Shaun Wellington is a sort of liberal conservative similar to the ideologies of the Royal Assistance Party or Civic National Party (for IC reference) and the Liberal Party of Australia (for OOC reference)

The Dominion of Kuraschia officially remains a stance of neutrality during this election, but a number of political parties have chosen to endorse candidates. The Socialist Party endorses the People's Revolutionary Party, the United Conservative party endorses both the Royal Assistance Party and Arvenian Value Front and the Liberal Party endorses the Arvenian Reform Party.

Prime Minister August Wolter and the majority Dalmannian Federalist Party (DFP) endorse Arnold Schatzmann as the “strongest candidate on civil rights and fiscal responsibility”, casting him as a great centrist leader and an impactful senator. The minority party in Parliament, the Dalmannian Liberty Party (DLP), led by Scharlotte Helm endorse independent Amanda Benásquez, citing her social democratic stance, and potential for progress and compromise in Arvenia through non-party interests.

Though silent on most of the other candidates, both major Dalmannian parties stand united in staunch opposition to NSP candidate William Kenway. In addresses to parliament, PM Wolter and Parliament minority leader Helm condemn the platform of the NSP in Arvenia, comparing it to the now-extinct Dalmannian Hammersfire Party which had driven the country into a bloody state of civil war only ten years prior. Should Arvenia elect Kenway, it is expected that Arvenia might join the “Q-List” of aggressive authoritarian and nationalist countries that the Dalmannian government has chosen to “quarantine” through trade barriers and slashed diplomatic ties.

Due to the vast influence of the Kingdom of Arvenia on international politics, several of the parties in the Derpish Kingdom (South Derpingham) have decided to endorse parties and candidates for this general election. In keeping with Derpish custom, most of the parties have declined to endorse candidates in a foreign election, although several have.

The National Party has decided to endorse the Arvenian Value Front, as both parties are members of the International Democrat Union and the National Party believes that the AVF shares similar values, and believes that having the AVF in the Arvenian Government would be beneficial to conservatism internationally.

The Derpish Union Party is an anti-monarchist, right-wing nationalist party in the northern borderlands that seeks to leave South Derpingham and rejoin Derpingham. They have very little support in the Kingdom and in the borderlands. Before they endorse, they would like to hear the position of each party on the following question:

Question 1: Would you recognize and/or support separatist movements in foreign nations, even if they lack popular support?

Earl Gomez thanks the South Derpish National Party for endorsing his party. He also hopes that his party wins the election and becomes the new ruling party (so that it would benefit conservative politics worldwide).

Regarding the question made by the Derpish Union Party, the Arvenian Self-Defense Party at least is not concerned with separatism (since it is a nationalist party that wants Arvenia to be less involved in international affairs). On the other hand, the National Socialist Party supports white separatist movements, while the Arvenian Communist Party, the Socialist Unity Party and the People's Revolutionary Party supports left-wing separatist movements (although the SUP opposes nationalism). The other major parties seems to also recognize separatist movements, with the ACDP supporting Christian separatists in Burma, while the NRP promotes self-determination for indigenous communities.

Arnold Schatzmann thanks the DFP for endorsing him and his party, while he promises to be a great centrist leader who would liberate Arvenia from global warming, fiscal irresponsibility, politicization and elitism. Meanwhile, Amanda Benásquez thanks the DLP for endorsing her, with the hope that she can give independent politicians more representation in Arvenian politics and also reform Arvenian society for the greater good.

William Kenway, on the other hand, condemns Dalmannia for attacking his platform and accuses it of supporting multiculturalism, globalism and white genocide. He also hopes Dalmannia falls victim to a "nationalist uprising".

The SPCC, which is the current ruling party of Cor Cada, officially endorses Mr Léon Ferdinand and the People's Revolutionary Party, but reserves the right to change this at any time.

Question 1: What is your stance on nuclear energy?
Question 2: Should same-sex couples be able to marry?
Question 3: Will you promote the rights of Native Arvenians?
Question 4: What is your stance on immigration?

Léon Ferdinand thanks the SPCC for endorsing his party.
  • The AGP, the CNP, the ARP, the RAP, the ACDP, the PRP, the NRP, the APDM, the ERP, the SUP and the RCP, as well as the two independent MNAs, are all opposed to nuclear energy, while the NSP and the ACP supports both nuclear energy and nuclear warfare. The AVF, the ALP and the ASDP remains neutral on the question (since they are not interested in nuclear politics). The AVF does appear to be opposed to nuclear energy (since it associates the latter with urbanization, despite being also opposed to environmental regulation), while the ASDP is not a huge fan of nuclear warfare.
  • Same-sex marriage is legal in Arvenia. The ruling RAP has since softened its stance on same-sex marriage (just like it has softened its stance on abortion), while most left-leaning parties, as well as the CNP, the ALP, the RCP and Amanda Benásquez, absolutely supports same-sex marriage. The AVF, the ACDP and the ASDP are fiercely opposed to same-sex marriage (although the ASDP is less aggressive on this issue than the AVF and the ACDP). Shaun Wellington, the ACP, the NRP and the NSP remains neutral on this issue (although the NSP discriminates against LGBT people).
  • The NRP is the most staunch supporter of Native Arvenian civil rights (since it is a Native Arvenian party). Most parties are either supportive or neutral regarding this issue, while the NSP and the ACDP absolutely opposes this. The NSP opposes Native Arvenian civil rights due to the belief that Native Arvenians and other non-white communities are inferior to white people, while the NSP also wants to destroy Native Arvenian cultural heritage. On the other hand, the ACDP opposes Native Arvenian civil rights due to the Native Arvenians still following their traditional beliefs (since the ACDP is a Christian party that despises both atheists and non-Christian religions). The ACDP believes that Native Arvenians can only gain full civil rights if they convert to Christianity.
  • The ASDP wants greater restrictions on immigration, while the ARP, the ERP, the AGP, the APDM, the ALP and Amanda Benásquez wants lesser restrictions on immigration. The RAP, the AVF, the RCP, the PRP, the ACP, the CNP, the NRP and Shaun Wellington are supportive of moderate immigration control. The NSP wants to officially ban immigration, while the SUP favours unregulated immigration. The ACDP wants to ban immigrants who are Muslim, Jewish and/or LGBT, while welcoming Christian immigrants.
