July 15: Riots have broken out in MC United. They began as protests in the wake of the passage of General Assembly Resolution #499, by which ultra-extreme leftist anti-life forces acted to strip all rights from unborn Uniters, ordered the establishment of extermination centers where unborn Uniters are to be murdered, and demanded Uniter taxpayers finance the murders. Citizen protestors throughout MC United are now marching as part of an “Unborn Lives Matter” movement, and are establishing contact with pro-life citizens of other nations.

Many protests have now escalated into direct action against the WA presence in MC United, and against interests of the main instigators of the anti-life outrage. In particular, protesters have targeted Imperium Anglorum, the state proposing the resolution, and burned in effigy the leader of that state. Actions targeting Austria-Bohemia-Hungary, Godular, Wallenburg, and other anti-life regimes have also taken place. Calls for war against Imperium Anglorum have been heard. Civil authorities have ordered police forces to stand down.

President Tim Ablitt addressed the nation in the wake of the initial protests. "Uniters have the inherent right to protest against the World Assembly’s intolerable affront to Uniter values. I am in full agreement with their revulsion against the WA’s illegitimate attempt to redefine life itself," he declared. "I condemn its encouragement of genocide against unborn Uniter citizens. I reject its demand that Uniters themselves abet their own destruction,” Ablitt continued. “Uniters may be assured that the government of MC United shall take every possible step to reduce the impact of this aggression against us. We will also seek the support of other like-minded states.”

Ablitt then announced that the government would immediately fund a massive public information campaign to support pro-life Uniter values, in particular to increase pro-life instruction in the education system and to raise pro-life awareness in the entertainment industry. “Our goal,” said Ablitt, “is to make abortion as socially unacceptable as child molestation, necrophilia, cannibalism and communism. Abortionists will bear the mark of Cain in MC United. The rabid anti-life elements of the World Assembly may think they can forcibly increase the supply of abortion in our nation, but they will find that Uniters can and will reduce the demand for it.”

The President concluded by noting that further actions were under consideration and would be announced at a future date.

This is a public announcement by the Kenmorian diplomatic mission to the World Assembly to all concerned parties. It expresses the official viewpoints held by this body, as well as the personal opinions of the named signatory to this proclamation. Although it is not to be taken as a hostile action in any way, this missive is intended to be a formal condemnation of the practices criticised below.

It is with a heavy heart that the Kenmorian WA Mission heard of the recent protests in the nation of the MC United, and this troubling situation was only worsened by the revelation that these people were demonstrating against General Assembly resolution #499, Access to Abortion. This is a piece of legislation promulgated by the legislative organ of the World Assembly, the largest collective of nations known to exist. It is a law demonstrative of the concern that the collective states and peoples of the WA have for the right of bodily sovereignty.

Furthermore, this resolution not only protects fundamental and inherent rights, it also implicitly upholds the value in democratic practice and the importance of all nations and cultural groups. The legislation was passed by an overwhelming majority and immediately adopted into law, despite opposition that could have made a less strongly democratically-aligned body cease the process, and henceforth showed that the WA cares for the opinions of its members. Any opposition to its passage, therefore, is also a position in contraposition to the spirits of democracy and the powers of several thousand nations, composed of billions of people.

However, this is not the most pressing concern that the Kenmoria WA Mission has with the recent protests. The most worrying development was the fact that nations in particular were being criticised for exercising their democratic right. This mission is one that is a firm believer in the choice that all nations have to engage in international affairs, and not to be shut down by hostility nor by implicit threats from other nations. The idea of demonstrating against nations simply for speaking their opinion is simply abhorrent, and ought to be condemned by all who witness it. This shall not be allowed to stand.

Therefore, the Kenmoria WA Mission does issue this formal condemnation of the recent protests with regards to General Assembly Resolution #499. However, we do not begrudge the protestors at all, for they are simply exerting their democratic right. Instead, we officially rebuke the government of the nation of the MC United for their part in encouraging these abominable acts. Whereas common people have the right to be heard, states have the responsibility neither to promote nor to support destructive courses of action.

At approximately 15:30 Hours the day of the Resolution 499 passed. A large swath of Sethtekian Citizens began rejoicing in hopes that the Sethtekian Government in its vow to loosen its grip upon the people. However Sethtekia ordered the Police Death Squads to crush the opposition and ensure all protests were shutdown. In the ensuing chaos that happened only 32 reported deaths; as many dispersed once the Police began to open fire upon the Protesters in which the Nation of Sethtekia does not allow protesting of any form; and it is harshly suppressed. A small boat full of TWNP members begins approaching the nearest part of Kyundao's coastline. It didn't take long for a Kyundaoan patrol boat to intercept them. “Responsive to the will of the citizens of MC United, as manifested in the nation-wide protests that have spontaneously taken place following the passage of General Assembly Resolution #499, the Congress of MC United has been convened in special session. Legislation has been passed to mitigate the heinous impact of the anti-life provisions of the resolution, and has been signed by President Ablitt.

“The following policies have been enacted:

1) Any female who intends to procure an abortion must first renounce all parental rights in the unborn child to be executed. Procuring an abortion raises a conclusive presumption of parental unfitness with respect to said child.
a) Any unborn child executed pursuant to General Assembly Resolution #499 will be given an appropriate funeral.

2) Any unborn child that survives an abortion procedure will be considered a live-born child, and will immediately become a citizen of MC United, with full rights. Any intention of the female to have the unborn child destroyed will be disregarded. Any abortionist who executes a child surviving an abortion procedure, or allows such child to expire, will be subject to prosecution for first-degree murder. Any female who procures such execution, conspires to procure such execution, or aids or abets such execution, will likewise be subject to prosecution.
a) The surviving live-born child will be made available for adoption in the event the biological father cannot be located or wishes to renounce his parental rights.

3) Once an unborn child is viable, the only procedures allowed to terminate the pregnancy are labor induction and C-section. An exception to this policy is permitted only in the event of an imminent threat to the continued physical life of the female.

4) Effective immediately, issuance of visas to citizens of Imperium Anglorum, Austria-Bohemia-Hungary, Godular, and Wallenburg is suspended. Citizens of said states currently present within the territory of MC United will be allowed to remain until expiration of their visas; however, any activity in opposition to the policy of MC United pertaining to General Assembly Resolution #499 will result in immediate visa revocation and deportation.
a) The foregoing policy will be applied to additional states voting in favor of General Assembly Resolution #499 upon further review of the voting record of said resolution.

5) Effective three weeks from this date, a 60% "For the Unborn" tariff is imposed on all imports from Imperium Anglorum, Austria-Bohemia-Hungary, Godular, and Wallenburg. Tariffs so generated will be used to fund all obligations imposed by General Assembly Resolution #499.
a) The 60% tariff will be imposed on any state identified under paragraph 4a, above.
b) A 50% "For the Unborn" tariff is imposed on all imports from each other state, not identified pursuant to paragraph 4, that voted in favor of said resolution.

6) Effective immediately, tariffs on all imports from states voting in opposition to General Assembly Resolution #499 are reduced by 50%. Further reductions may be made at a subsequent time.”

July 20: President Ablitt held a press conference, during which he discussed the on-going crisis precipitated by General Assembly Resolution #499, the on-going “Unborn Lives Matter” movement, and the reactions of certain foreign goverments.

Laura Sanders, Luton Times: “Mr. President, public anger at the passage of GA Res #499 does not appear to be abating. If anything, people seem to be more enraged with each passing day. Your administration has begun taking actions to undo some of the damage created by this resolution. Are there plans to take further action?”

President Ablitt: “Thank you, Laura. Yes, additional measures are even now being proposed. Further legislation is in the works and will be announced soon. We are also continuing to seek support from other like-minded states to mitigate the effects of this atrocity, and, God willing, to eventually repeal GA Res. #499.”

Michael Bongino, Wolf News: “Are you referring to the offers by Kyundao and Joyea to provide financial and military assistance?”

President Ablitt: “We have expressed our appreciation to those governments, and to others, including Flying Eagles, for their offers of support, and for the very generous financial support to our efforts by the government of Kyundao.”

President Ablitt: “Willy, we believe that fighting for Uniter values within the World Assembly, supporting other nations who have similar values, and standing with our region whenever possible, justify remaining in the WA. That said, we will not just roll over and permit aggressions against our most important values to be carried out.”

President Ablitt: “Yes, Sarah, I will be addressing the march from the steps of our capitol. I support the “Unborn Lives Matter” movement one hundred percent.

“Now, I’d like to turn things over to Secretary of State Henry Kirkpatrick. Mr. Secretary?”

Secretary Kirkpatrick: “Thank you, Mr. President. The government of Kenmoria has come out with a condemnation of our pro-life policies and the opposition of Uniters and their government to GA Res. #499. I refer you to the Kenmorian statement issued by Ambassador Sir James Lewitt.

“The government of MC United categorically rejects the condemnation by Kenmoria. MC United further rejects the attempt by Kenmoria, and the anti-life faction of the World Assembly, to use “bodily sovereignty” as the justification for imposing their definition of “life” on member states, and thereby violate their national sovereignty. It is the position of MC United that “bodily sovereignty” ends with the conception of a new life, with a genome distinguishable from that of the female whose behavior helped to conceive said life. “Bodily sovereignty” does not excuse sexual irresponsibility.

“Kenmoria’s position on “democratic practice” is equivalent to two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner. There are certain actions that a majority, even a large majority, cannot legitimately take. Redefining life, and demanding that all member states permit, indeed support and subsidize, the execution of unborn children are such actions. The government of MC United condemns such actions.

““Exercising their democratic right” does not excuse their demand for taxpayer-financed, state-supported executions of unborn citizens of MC United. Nor have the anti-life members of the World Assembly engaged in “simply speaking their opinion”. Rather, by their actions, they have engaged in aggression against MC United by concealing genocide against the unborn citizens of MC United under the cloak of law.”

President Ablitt: “Thank you, Secretary Kirkpatrick. Now I have one further announcement.

“MC United, with the support of the overwhelming majority of its citizens, will continue to take action to reduce, and eventually eliminate, the demand for executions of unborn citizens--demand that has recently been instigated by hostile foreign forces. In this context, I am announcing that further policies will be enacted to scrutinize the social media presence of all citizens of Imperium Anglorum and the other states previously identified as leaders of the anti-life faction of the World Assembly. Any citizens of those states who have publicly expressed support for GA Res. #499, or have acted to support, enable, facilitate or encourage the procurement of abortion in nations other than their own, will be permanently denied entry into MC United. If they are already present within the territory of MC United, they’ll be expelled forthwith.
