Lemoyne Province, Joyea 1600

The Lacienian troops were almost done fortifying Lemoyne. The province would be the Lacienian base in the invasion of Joyea. The port of Joyea city has also begun receiving fresh shipments of supplies and reinforcements. Surrendered Joyeans are being housed at a POW camp built out of the Joyea City prison. On the edge of Lemoyne, there is a vast no-man's-land surrounded by trenches and artillery. Hopefully the stalemate can be broken soon.

Joyean forces in Lemoyne have continued to fortify the area. We will not allow any enemy forces past with out a fight. Joyean forces in Joyea city have either surrendered or are attempting to retreat. The underground levels of the city have been completely taken over few police remain and they have been trying to gather people to assist them in carrying out guerrilla warfare against the invaders. The Joyean Air Corp has established multiple small airbase behind the Joyean line housing 4 to 10 aircraft as a rapid response force in case of an attack.

This new power structure was led by a Lacienian agent who had inserted himself into Ardbridge by way of a stolen uniform and ID. The newly organized rebellion is now sending around 500 people armed with homemade guns to take the over the local police station.

The rioters knew they were doing well when they found the armory intact. This revelation led them to attempt bit more organization. This new power structure was led by a Lacienian agent who had inserted himself into Ardbridge by way of a stolen uniform and ID. The newly organized rebellion is now sending around 500 people armed with homemade guns to take the over the local police station.

Internal troops from the Joyean Ministry of Defense have been called in along with military police and a 24/7 lockdown is in place anyone found outside there homes is to be fired at. We have begun sending more and more troops to the city and have fortified many police stations. The police station nearest to city hall has had snipers placed on the rooftops and all windows blocked except for a slit with a machine gun. All doors are being barricaded. All demonstrators are to be tried for treason. Many of our troops are also being taken off the landing ships to be sent in to help suppress the riots.

I've been recently told by Lacienia via TG that they've been using their Pacific colonies as the staging point for their invasion of Joyea. I intend to use this info ICly, but I believe that any sensible nation would monitor enemy troop movements in war, and those with military satellites would long have figured out where the enemy is attacking from, thus I don't believe this constitutes metagaming.

The Langenians have been closely monitoring Lacienian troop movements for a while, especially those to Joyea. Using military satellites they have deduced that the Lacienian Pacific colonies of Pordia, Castonia, and Najiristan have been the staging points of the Lacienian invasion of Joyea, being used to move troops, weapons, and supplies. They have decided to strike Castonia and Najiristan and neutralize these sites (Pordia has been taken by the Joyeans). This starts Operation Pacific Hunter, the largest Langenian military operation in the Pacific since the island-hopping campaign of World War II. The operation comprises warships from both the Western Fleet (which operates in the west Pacific) and the Pacific Fleet (which operates in the eastern Pacific). Troops and equipment are prepared. Curiously, it seems like the Langenians are doing nothing. But then, one day, surprise attacks take place across Lacienian assets globally. Castonia and Najiristan see Langenian warplanes perform surprise SEAD attacks on their air defense networks, and jamming aircraft get to work confusing enemy radar and air defense systems. Ballistic and cruise missile strikes take place on key enemy military sites. Airstrikes begin with fighters from the carriers and bombers from Langenian island possessions in the Pacific. Lacienian planes and ships are surprised in their own bases. Planes that do take off are quickly intercepted by air superiority fighters and ships at sea are intercepted by aircraft, surface combatants, and/or submarines. An airborne assault with paratroopers takes place to take out defenders on the interior of the islands and defenders on the beaches. This is followed by an air assault of marines with helicopters, who do the same as the paratroopers. Then, the Langenians carry out an amphibious assault, offloading troops and equipment on the beaches. Finally, captured air bases are used to bring in transport planes, bearing even more soldiers. The invasions of Castonia and Najiristan are only part of the overall attack on Lacienian assets worldwide. All over the world, the Langenians close key strategic routes for the Lacienians to send troops, supplies, and equipment to Joyea. In the Mediterranean, a Langenian fleet off the coast of Libya watches out to prevent any Lacienian vessels headed to Joyea from traversing the Suez Canal. The Suez itself is guarded in international waters by two flotillas of warships, one from the Northern Fleet on the Mediterranean Sea side and one from the Eastern Fleet on the Red Sea side. International traffic is allowed to pass through, but not Lacienian military traffic. The same applies to the Panama Canal, guarded by a flotilla from the Atlantic Fleet and a flotilla from the Pacific Fleet. The Langenians will not even permit the Lacienians to use the much longer routes around Tierra del Fuego or Cape Horn, as the Atlantic Fleet forms a barrier in the South Atlantic. The only route for military ships from Lacienia to go to Joyea that isn't being guarded by the Langenians is the Northwest Passage around Canada and Alaska, which will take to much time for Lacienian ships to resupply bases in the Pacific and forces in Joyea. Despite the fact that the Lacienians have bases in CUSP countries that send supplies to Joyea, those bases cannot be used if the Langenians are monitoring them and intent on attacking Lacienian warships (in international waters) that sortie into the Pacific. Also, Langenian hackers have hacked into the Lacienian naval communications, sending fake orders to Lacienian supply ships and convoys to have them redirected into the jaws of Langenian naval ambushes. Finally, this is followed by Langenian jamming stations, aircraft, and ships jamming Lacienian naval communications so these fake orders can't be retracted, and the enemy ships are cut off from the outside world with no choice but to listen to their fake orders. The overall operation is termed by the Langenians as Operation Corsair.

The warehouse exploded and damaged an area almost 3 miles around it. It had munitions, food, ammunition, and other supplies in it. The military and civilian fire departments were called down many of the native fireman refused to assist and are either going to be detained or shot. We are haveing some difficulty fighting the flames and the Joyean military will begin regular patrols through unpopulated areas to ensure Lacienian agents don't camp out they will be sent in squads of 10. The Joyean Storm Commandos are being assembled to find the missing Colonel. We are unsure what military secrets he has handed over. More and more air and coastal defenses are being set up to attempt to prevent enemy forces from retaking the islands.

After receiving this message the Joyean Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Drozdov released this statement:
"We will not even begin to consider peace until reparations for the billion dollar plus damages caused in Ardbridge riots have been payed and all military science subjects have been returned and yes our anti-terrorist units have worked out that Lacienian agents were completely responsible for the riots. Until then our troops will push the Lacienian dogs back to the shore until they have to start swimming home. And we are not handing any colonies back any damn time soon."

Ardbridge 0300
Joyean troops have begun firing at the demonstrators and tanks have fired their guns at the mob of rioters. We have been pushing them back to the city hall where they will mostly be contained and we can then finish the job many of the troops that were taken off of the landing craft to fight the rioters are returning to their ships and are being sent to the Lacienian mainland where they can annihilate the Lacienian military and government. The rioters at city hall have taken nearby police stations and have taken them as "Prisoners of War" according to the leader of the insurrectionists. It has also been reported that many of the rioters have begun military style training.

Joyean Held Lemoyne
Joyean trenches are having improvements made to them such as making them deeper and having better drainage systems. We have also begun laying barbed wire and planting mines in the no man's land. More and more joyean troops are being sent to the trenches along with artillery, tanks, and aircraft.

Joyea City Bay
The land forces have been attempting to escape the city with some exceptions that refused to leave but our naval assets will not leave and have been fighting continuously for days at a time. We are bringing in a single Abrams class aircraft carrier to help with defending the bay. The Lacienians mostly have the upper hand when it comes down to air power so we are not sure how long the carriers aircraft will last.

Ever since the Lacienians began military police patrols the operations have gotten much smaller. We have begun bombing civilian, police, military vehicles. Joyean storm commandos also busted down the door of a small bank carrying M249 machine guns, XM-8 rifles, and USP pistols. They robbed the bank for about 1.4 million Lacienian Londa's then after receiving the money planted 14 bombs in the building and got in the same getaway car used during the transit station gassing and almost every other attack. About 9 hours later the police found the vehicle parked in an empty lot where they found it was rigged with explosives as soon as they found out they detonated killing many of the officers.

All Members of Parliament and Cabinet have been evacuated from Joseph Beltzin Center for Military Science along with the mysterious Object 448. Object 448 has been taken to a safe house where supposedly a Joyean commander is staying but here has also been rumors that numerous horrific experiments take place there. The commander is named Colonel James Ross and he worked on the Object 448 project and Project 92 which created the beings that now are a part of Lacienia's Gamma 6 squad. The house is heavily defended and it has been referred to by nearby residents as the "House of Death", "The Little Red House", or "House Evening Red". No resident of the nearby town of Camden house ever returned. It is on a small dirt path away from the main town. It is also suspected that supernatural experiments and even attempts at controlling demons. Omega-92 test subjects like the ones in Gamma 6 are rumored in the Joyean military to be guarding the building. We believe that Lacienian Special Forces will try to take the "Little Red House". In the Joyean military many people believe Ross became a test subject himself after he supposedly attempted to disclose what went on in the house.

OOC: Lacienian if your SF try to take the house it is in Ambarino Joyea and Joyean troops can enter spaces inside the house and can open small parts of the wall to take out intruders. It also has a reinforced basement where Ross would be.

Joyean Storm Commandos have been sent to the facility to assist the troops there in retaking the facility. The commandos entered the short hallway that connected to the Lacienian held part of the base. That along with a few other hallways and doors connected the Joyean section to the Lacienian section. The commandos blew up the door leading to the Lacienian side and were met by 12 guards all of which were shot and killed in a matter of seconds. After that they continued down the narrow halls and began clearing each room one by one. They also began booby-trapping the halls. They continued down the hall and found a door marked "Generals Quarters" they kicked down the door and surprised the Lacienian General with a M-4 stock to the head more Storm commandos were called down to bring him back to the Joyean held area. They have since hidden themselves in ventilation and utility shafts.

The commandos have still only been able to carry out small attacks. One commando was almost caught this morning but managed to escape by breaking the military police officers jaw and arms. The Joyean forces have just about taken the city and have pushed many of the forces back but we believe Osea may be preparing to mount a huge assault. We are most clearing any resistance from the metropolitan area. Though some Osean soldiers still remain at the outskirts of the outskirts of the city.

Our paratroopers have sustained massive casualties in the last month and a half from artillery and air strike though these have mostly stopped and we have been able to help the injured and begin burying the dead.

Three AH-64D Apache Longbows of the 25th Cav.,13th Aviation Brigade "Lucky 13" fly ahead of the main assault force poised to take back Shannon. The mission is simple destroy a Joyean C&C center and provide support for troops on the ground. The Apaches found their target after avoiding or destroying enemy SAM's and AAA's along the way. The gunships fired their long-range Hellfire-2 missiles into enemy ZSU-23-4's and the command center then, the assault force moves forward. The gunships provided support for friendly troops by killing enemy troops and armor all the while hunting down enemy helicopters.

After the first enemy soldiers started pushing towards the city the sirens sounded and all hell broke loose. Every aircraft was launched and with about 2 hours every soldier in the city was on their way to push the Oseans back out of the city. The AH-64s made it to the command center and blew it to hell. After that all of the Joyean soldiers were in dissaray. The Joyean airforce managed to get an E-3 AWACs aircraft in the sky to serve as a temporary command center until a new one could be established. One of the AH-64s also took out an ammunition depot and 3 KA-52 attack Helicopters. Have fighting has broken out on the outskirts of Shannon and th Oseans are beginning to push into the city.

With the Joyean defensive ramping up, Lacienian forces have begun utilizing their Davy-Crocket launchers. These weapons are able to devastate Joyean Lines and neutralize most attacks. In addition, recruitment campaigns have begun to make up for the lack of new supplies. Many citizens of Joyea have been coaxed into joining the Lacienian military. Campaigns utilized by the new recruits include disguising a truck of soldiers as a refugee vehicle. Upon, getting past the Lines, the Joyeans would find themselves being attacked from both directions.

The response to the Joyean raid was immediate and lethal. All active staff were issued PPE and the facility was filled with Sarin gas. This deadly response is hoped to take the Joyeans by surprise and eliminate their foothold.

Footage of a Joyean tank firing into the crowd has been forwarded to an International news service. This footage has gone public and has now massively swayed international opinion against Joyea. The rioters have also begun utilizing the sewers to send teams behind Joyean lines. The rebels have also begun sending the majority of their Leadership and operations into the sewers. If need be, the sewers can also be used to evacuate the city and save the majority of the rebellion from defeat.

A reward of 150,000 Londas has been given for information leading to the capture of the Joyean commandos. Using further cash rewards, the street gangs have also been encouraged to aid the Lacienian government. The gangs that agreed are to keep their decision secret and wait for the Joyeans to supply them with equipment. Then they will ambush the Joyeans with gunmen from all sides.

The Joyean colonel talked. Once he was showed a picture of his family taken into custody and an audio recording of their arrest. Naturally, these photos were forged alongside the the recordings. After the now-broken officer shared the info, a call was submitted to the Joyeans. "We have an officer of yours. Please come to the mountain garden/winery."

Cape Horn, Pacific Ocean

The submarine was loaded with a 2 platoons of special operations personnel. Its mission was to deliver these personnel to the Langenian-occupied colonies. The submarine was a modified ballistic missile sub that has had its missile bays swapped with barracks and float-pod launchers.

OOC: A float-pod in this case is a small pod that can carry people to the surface by rapidly inflating airbags.

The Storm Commandos put their gas masks on and headed to a sub level where it would sealed and they would be protected until they could get to a Joyean held area. Many of the soldiers though had to retreat or die any that even shows signs of being affected had to be left behind. Most of the time personnel at Beltzin where hazmat suits but they are bulky and only provide protection from small rounds (ie 9mm Parabellum) so they carried gas masked but not full IPE. They reached tunnels referred to as the "Highway" because it connects the main section to the smaller areas spread throughout the nation. The section dedicated to the Joyean Air Corps is in middle of the jungle and is about a 3 hour drive so that area has mostly been protected. Some soldiers sent to help fight the Lacienians in the main area were sent in wearing the Mark 08 supersuit which is built to protect against .52in rounds which it does ok with but it makes it extremely hard to carry more than about 4-6 magazines and has been reported as injuring or even killing people who attempt to wear it.

BTR-80s, BMM-1s, BMP 1s and 2s, and a few Type 32 tanks accompanied by 1 company of 130 soldiers with a man by the name of Nikolai Jorgensen who is a Joyean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense negotiator and former Judge and legal mediator. When the arrived some of the soldiers hopped out of their trucks and APCs and waited for Jorgensen. When Jorgensen arrived he left his car and called the number that previously called the Jouean military base in Pordia. "Ok we're here what now..."

The Langenians have begun shipping captured Lacienian-made military equipment to back home. There it is thoroughly studied for technical strengths and weaknesses. This intelligence is shared with the Joyeans so they can use it on the battlefield. In addition, they will use this if the need ever arises to fight the Lacienians on the ground. And this is highly possible. The Langenians may or may not be prepared to deploy special forces to Joyea, now that they control the seas.

As the large but not very stealthy submarine approached a frigate assigned to anti-submarine warfare duties at the entrance to the coastal waters would detect it with sonar. It would promptly use depth charges to scare the submarine off, but at the same time contact a maritime patrol aircraft armed with ASW torpedoes. This particular aircraft would drop those torpedoes at the submarine underwater, while some distance away the frigate would position itself to block the submarine's escape. The torpedoes started to head in the direction of the Lacienian sub. The presence of any Lacienian boats would not be tolerated.

Indian Ocean

Langenia has begun using its blockade of Lacienian assets worldwide to block the flow of Lacienian supplies to Joyea. The Langenians are intercepting and sinking Lacienian ships loaded with such supplies through the forces of the Langenian National Navy's Eastern Fleet. Anti-air missiles launched from cruisers, destroyers, and frigates are also being used to shoot down Lacienian transport planes. This blockade will become tighter and tighter to starve the Lacienians in Joyea more and more.

The torpedoes started to head in the direction of the Lacienian sub. The presence of any Lacienian boats would not be tolerated.

We have sent ships down to aid the Langenian blockade including numerous smaller vessels like corvettes and patrol boats and many medium and larger sized ones including frigages and one Abrams class aircraft carrier and 1 new cruiser known as the Legion Class Cruiser. The new cruiser is heavily armed with guns and missiles and will easily tear many ships apart. We are also requesting that we be able to station some Avro Shakletons, Il-28 bombers, Hellcat 3000 fighters, Tu 28 Interceptors, KC-135 tankers, and IL 38 Torpedo planes at Langenian military bases in the captured colonies. We are also going to send 4 of our 6 Kilo class attack submarines to help take out Lacienian ships. In addition 2 Ardbridge class Commerce raiders will be sent which are just unused ship hulls from the 1960s converted to carry heavy weapons. We are also going to begin converting more of our commercial ships to be used in combat.

It has been months since the attack on port St. Hewlett but now the Pacific fleet is back on it's feet after months of repair. The Carrier air wings have been forced to operate from land bases inland. The Pacific Fleet's Carrier Battle Groups has set sail and now are receiving their respective crews and squadrons. Their orders, make Joyea surrender and kick them out of Osea.

Leasath

All across Leasath the Langenians had taken control of launchpads of the Langenian space program. They had been preparing this since they first arrived in the country. Simultaneously across the country rockets launched into space. In space, they release surveillance satellites. These satellites will monitor Osean military movements across Strangereal, providing Langenia with a vital edge for its invasion.

Leasath

Finally, the Langenian-led invasion happens. For months the Langenians have been hammering at the Osean troops on the Leasathian border, to ensure maximum surprise when the invasion happens on the tired and sleep-deprived soldiers. First, an airborne assault takes place, followed by air assault with helicopters. Finally, a mechanized force of Langenians, Leasathians, Yuktobanians, and mercenaries punch across the border, along with amphibious assaults on southwestern Osea and southeastern Osea. The objective of the left flank is to reach and take St. Hewlett, while the right flank is to link up with the Joyeans and reach and take Oured. A combined Langenian, Leasathian, Wellowian, and Yuktobanian fleet provides naval support, and Langenian, Leasathian, Yuktobanian, and mercenary pilots provide air support. Another objective is to destroy and disable Osean airbases in the south of the country. Airstrikes are again carried out on St. Hewlett, as well as on Oured.

Castonia and Najiristan

The Joyean fleet and aircraft are given permission to be stationed in occupied Castonia and Najiristan. They are provided with fuel, munitions, and provisions for their missions to uphold the blockade.

Joyea

Arriving on Langenian transport planes are special forces units, drawn from the army, air force, navy, and marines. They are to raid and disrupt Lacienian operations in Joyea. In addition, they will wreak even more havoc on their supply lines, if they have any, which they shouldn't due to the blockade. They will work with the Joyeans in liberating the country and are under their command.
