"Attention everyone! The following is a public service announcement.

The Kongsi Provisional Government election will be held tomorrow. Tomorrow's election will elect the President for the formation of the Republic of Kongsi. As there is only one valid candidate, Democratic Party candidate Zhao Lijian, tomorrow's vote will be a vote of confidence.

To vote, you must be a citizen of Kongsi aged above 18. Please bring along your passport or identity card when arriving at the polling station. Once at the polling station, you will be given a ballot paper. Please head to a voting booth, and mark X next to either "Confidence" or "No Confidence". Then, you must fold the ballot paper in half, concealing your vote. DO NOT mark anything other than an X. See the screen for the correct procedure.

You are strongly advised to vote."

OOC: The war is in my factbook. I invaded them and they are currently under my civil authority, and we're trying to get Kongsi out of our hair as soon as possible. We will hold a Presidential election, then in the near future a parliamentary election.

The capital of the would-be Kongsi government is in Nanchang.

The Ganzhou Rural South Polling Station, guarded by a squad of Nacradian Armed Forces personnel whom have been stationed there for peacekeeping, was attacked.

20 to 30 insurgents, most of them holding bolt action rifles, flanked the village that this polling station sits in. Under the cover of darkness, the insurgents around in the hills began shooting. However, their aim is poor to say the least, and were unsuccessful in shooting anyone.

The squad immediately formed into their battle formations, and started firing at the general direction where the shots are coming from. It was not sure if any of the shots hit either, as they were unable to pin down the location of the insurgents. The shooting continued until noon, where the polling station was finally opened after fighting stopped at 14:00 and polling began at 15:00.

The Federal Republic of Nacrad ensures that all demands will be met, save for article 2 and 5. Of which, both items will be fulfilled, but not completely to the terms of Greater South Africa. The following will dissect the degree of compliance for these demands.

1. We are actively planning elections to fulfill that as we speak. But we may be unable to open certain stations due to insurgent violence, nonetheless, we are trying our best. We do, however, condemn the accusation of being "tyrannical".

2. They will be released as civilians, save for those convicted by court of law with due process of infringing human rights, who will be imprisoned by the new Republic of Kongsi.

3. Already done at the Victory Parade back in November.

4. We plan to assist the elected government of Kongsi to rebuild. We have already contracted various companies, whom we entrust will rebuild the nation.

5. Military access cannot be given. But we offer to allow the arrival of civilian human rights observers, up to 10,000 persons.

As a matter of fact, however, Nacrad's casus belli is not solely the military raids. (which have been a plenty, in total, there has been more than 100 raids since 1950.) As a matter of fact, it was Kongsi that threatened to, taken ad verbatim, "Raze each and every Nacradian city to the ground, rape each and every Nacradian girl and bury each and every Nacradian citizen alive, including you, President Smith, should you not peacefully hand over the territory we demanded."

As a result, having received such threats, Nacrad had no choice but to wage war to protect our citizens' security.

6 pm, 14 Jan 2021

The polling had come to a close. A total of 12 million citizens voted, the turnout rate being a measly 43%. Originally, the polling was to continue until 8 p.m., which happened in certain stations in Nanchang. However, due to continued harassment from insurgent members, most stations have to be closed. Of the 80 polling stations, 17 could not be opened and 36 were opened late, while 6 polling stations continued to accept votes until 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Nanchang.

"I tell you, this 'Kongsi Democratic Party' is just a goddamned puppet of Canton! I prefer Zhang Qianjin and his communist regime! Zhao Lijian can go fuck himself --" (Canton is the Chinese name for Riverfort)

"Sir, I respect your opinion, but please, I implore you, calm down."

"What do you, youngling, have to say? I ate more salt than you did rice! Now shut up until I punch you."

"Sir, if you keep that up I'll have to call the police."

"Police my ass!"

The old veteran started punching the man, and the police was called. The military police arrived and separated them.

"The Provisional Government Election had been completed yesterday, though several polling stations were unable to be opened due to Kongsi Communist Front. The voter turnout rate was 43%, 73% of which had voted to have confidence. Thus, Zhao Lijian is proclaimed the Provisional President of Kongsi if he gets approval from Nacrad."
