Hearing of ArmedKing's occupation of the Italian States, The Kyundaoan military have begun arming pro-capitalist terrorists and freedom fighters in the occupied territories. Days later, far-right terror attacks are directed against ArmedKing's forces in the cities and in the countryside, killing the occupation forces' top commanders in the process. The terror attacks have since continued on a daily basis.

Three days before the New Year.

In the occupied areas of the Italian States, the New Year approaches. Many locals visit nearby relatives and others from elsewhere check into the newly nationalized local hotels.

New Anzio, New Year.

Gunfire erupts, sending ArmedKing forces within the captured base in a confused frenzy. Right-wing terrorists and freedom fighters bust the gates down with a truck rigged with high explosives. The rigged truck continues and soon after explodes, killing any ArmedKing soldiers who tried to halt its advance. A few right-wing terrorists open fire as the rush in with murderous yet anti-imperialist intent. A few more ArmedKing soldiers are killed and their fellow soldiers return fire, killing all of the terrorists. More terrorists enter the base and open fire. An ArmedKing machine gunner is shot in his left eye, instantly killing him. The other soldiers return fire, killing some of the terrorists and causing the rest to retreat. After some period of eerie silence, artillery begins pounding the ArmedKing soldiers' positions. A mysterious gas seeps out from multiple locations along the line and at least half of the ArmedKing soldiers begin feeling the effects, many rendered blind and many more choking to death on their own blood. Other soldiers abandoned their positions and rushed to safety. The field medics who were treating the gassed soldiers ended up suffering from the effects as well. This was Sarin gas, highly illegal for use in most militaries. The terrorists hadn't returned for the time being, but the surviving ArmedKing soldiers were left traumatized.

Ostia, New Year.

Bombs went off in many high-profile buildings occupied by ArmedKing forces, the freedom fighters being the ones responsible. Many ArmedKing soldiers were killed in the process. Firefights then ensued. ArmedKing forces suffered heavy casualties in every street as they opened fire on the incoming freedom fighters, who suffered surprisingly few losses. Elite ArmedKing soldiers on some rooftops were all killed by freedom fighters who shot at them from taller buildings. Local snipers took pot shots at ArmedKing snipers first, killing all of them; the snipers then proceeded to kill medics and officers, inflicting severe casualties on ArmedKing forces. The ArmedKing occupation force's chain of command had been broken by this point as many of its soldiers fled the city with their lives. The fighting continues for several days, the fates of the remaining occupiers unknown.

One of many Kyundaoan submarines in the area has spotted an ArmedKing vessel carrying enemy troops. Homing torpedoes are fired and the enemy vessel is sunk, killing the vast majority of the enemy soldiers on board. Similar attacks occur along the entire coastline, rendering a full-scale invasion of Kyundao impossible.

Meanwhile, a Kyundaoan submarine armed with nuclear missiles launches a volley at the nearby enemy airfields and ports, effectively destroying ArmedKing's navy and air force as well as eliminating any chance of them conducting anti-submarine warfare.

Kyundao, 8 days after the New Year.

Chairman Sung is in a war bunker defended by hundreds of the most loyal Kyundaoan soldiers, a bunker that only they can enter and exit. He is writing a sternly worded response to ArmedKing's recent demands, which he received word of not too long ago. He turns to one of the soldiers present.

Minister of the Press: The imperialistic state of ArmedKing has recently sent us a series of naive demands. We will never be socialist, we will never replace our leader and we will never surrender a single inch of territory. We will not cease our attacks against ArmedKing unless they agree to three conditions. The first condition is declaring an end to the war and renouncing expansionism. The second condition is dismantling its military entirely. The third and last condition is completely replacing its government with a peaceful one. As for the Chairman's so-called family being kidnapped, they in actuality are just prisoners who were forced to take up those roles; the Chairman doesn't care if they live or die and as you all know, he never had a family to begin with. On top of all of this, we have now enacted a policy requiring civilians and politicians alike to stomp on politically-themed iron tablets; for the sake of security, the themes will not be named here. That is all.

They are ordered to "retreat" onto a hilltop, but they're not retreating out of freight, they have a reason. At 1:54 A.M., TTTs and flamethrowers start rolling in to the enemy camp. Missiles and bombs start pouring down on the enemy base, with loud explosions coming from beneath.

As the fighting between the La Xinga and ArmedKing forces rages on, Kyundaoan ground forces make their move. A platoon of ArmedKing soldiers sees a bound prisoner, a mute one, making their way toward them. The prisoner was wearing a small trench coat and when one of the ArmedKing soldiers opened it, a bomb inside exploded, killing two of them alongside the mute prisoner. The other soldiers then see bound and shirtless prisoners approach them by the dozens; there was too many to count and there were Kyundaoan soldiers opening fire from right behind them. As the Chairman ordered, the Kyundaoan soldiers were using human shields.

Horrified by the Kyundaoan Army's blatant disregard for the lives of prisoners, the ArmedKing platoon struggled to avoid unnecessary killings, all while being slaughtered. A Kyundaoan sniper counter-sniped the ArmedKing platoon's sniper, killing the latter. The Kyundaoan sniper then killed the medic and ran off. More Kyundaoan soldiers cut off their only escape route. With their two most important members dead, the ArmedKing navy and airforce destroyed and ArmedKing's capability to rebuild the two branches long gone by this point, there was nothing the platoon could do. They were all killed by this small Kyundaoan detachment.

Chairman Sung: Their navy and air force are completely gone and their army is slowly losing strength as we and other armies shoot them down to size. This is good to hear.

As Kyundaoan forces advance towards ArmedKing, they encounter numerous villages along the way. They noticed the inhabitants were starving (this was a socialist country after all), so the soldiers gave them food and water. "Thank you," one of the locals said. Another one came to the soldiers to ask a simple question after eating for the first time in two weeks.

Populistani local: Our government said you guys were torturing the people, yet you're not. Instead you give us what they deprived us of.

Kyundaoan soldier: We may be a one-party capitalist state, but we don't do to other countries what we don't want done to us.

The Kyundaoan forces liberated town after town, most of the time without any resistance. After suffering at the hands of their government for so long, the inhabitants welcomed the troops as conquering heroes.

On the Bridge of the HCMS Rosenberg, Admiral Alexius Ivan Patrovka discusses something with his fellow officers aboard. The Alliance recently ramped up their attacks on the fringe world colonies, and they’ve already lost nearly 2,000 ships against the so-called gryrelings. Supplies out in the fringe are currently very limited, and they have to conserve what they can. But, as they discuss potential solutions to the problems popping up left and right, urgent news arrives at the Bridge.

“Sire, one of the colonies at a nearby system has revolted! They’ve armed themselves with antiquated weaponry, but their numbers are just too for the nearby garrison to handle!” He gulps and catches his breath. “They are being led by a revolutionary maniac that calls himself ‘ArmedKing’… and apparently he has declared war against ‘all the nobility and capitalists’, in order to ‘free the peasant class’, and he swears to ‘massacre every single nobleman’ he finds planetside."

“What in the name of… how did this slip under our noses? This is quite simply devastating… we have to act quickly! What if the rebellion spreads to other worlds?” The Admiral pauses, wiping sweat off his brow. “If we let Her Majesty or her stepmother Ylva learn about this, my career will be ruined!”

The Admiral regains his composure and thinks. “What needs to be done has to be done. Send a detachment of 500 ships and bomb them back to the ground. We can’t let this nonsensical ‘revolution’ spread to other fringe worlds! Bomb it all… saturate the surface with hellfire… spare nothing, even the nobles. If the Central Command asks about the incident, tell them it’s an isolated gryreling infestation… o-or even the Crimson Queen! I don’t care, just go!"

The officers in the room chant “Sir, yes, sir!” as they left the Bridge. The fleet prepared for the battle ahead, for the sake of saving the colonies.



On orbit over ArmedKing's Earth, the 500 glamorous and sleek warships from the 13th Harmonia-Terra Combined Fleet exit hyperspace. Their intentions here are clear, to cleanse the planet of all peasant riots stemming from this rebellion. Full Orbital Bombardment has been authorised, and all hell broke loose. Imperial war music plays all over; not just in ArmedKing’s channel, but all over the planet.

We have received several conflicting reports from on-site agents and soldiers about the true reality of what has been going on. Currently, our intelligence agency and agents embedded in the remains of the [DATA CORRUPTED] government have entered into a complete breakdown of communications. Reports from the survivors of the [DATA CORRUPTED] regiment are inconclusive too. They say that an unknown enemy force has attacked all parties involved, resulting in tremendous loss of lives.

So far, this appears to be the reason as to why we have lost contact with the future UICS government. However, another report from one of our reconnaissance units confirmed that indeed, the UICS in the year [DATA CORRUPTED] will also be attacked by weapons similar to the ones which we have deployed.

Several Scientists and Engineers in Project [DATA CORRUPTED] estimate that the result of the large scale temporal distortions has resulted in several fusions of parallel timelines. The source of this fusion is suggested to be due to the [REDACTED] of the localised temporal anomaly found in [REDACTED], Italy. Currently, it seems as if future events and past events, both of this timeline and off all other potential timelines, are merging together.

If you did not understand any of that, it is fine. We are not very sure either. All we know is that the currently, the year [DATA CORRUPTED] is now anomalous in nature, and time as we know it breaks down exactly on [FATAL ERROR: INVALID DATE] of that year. Populistani local: We don't know, but they left right after killing people. They didn't have enough ammo for everyone so they killed as many as they could.

Kyundaoan forces have moved into the occupied territories in full force, hellbent on driving ArmedKing's already dwindling army out of the country. In the cities and the countryside resistance from the ArmedKing defenders was fierce, but with the help from pro-capitalist terrorists and freedom fighters, the Kyundaoan army was able to devastate them and send the few survivors fleeing. The occupied areas of the Italian States were pretty much liberated by this point. The Kyundaoan liberators later met up with the newly arrived Italian States army, bolstering the defense of the country as a whole.
