Surprised in the initial wave of terrorist counterattack, the boogaloo boys and their forces regroup after a tragic day of 78 casualties, appalled at a level of disregard for human life and viciousness from those within the autonomous zone. With their own barricades forced back to the ends of the blocks, increased caution and better fortifications prevented further casualties from attack. In sacrificing offensive potential, they still retained their regular bombings and shellings with makeshift artillery and mortars from their positions.

The twice-a-day air raids started to consist more and more of lethal drops (though leaflet campaigns still, now a campaign to simply give the terrorists the whirlwhind they decided to reap and firebomb, gas, or blow them into submission.

That night, however, a snake was about in the AAZ- the young man walking around casually, sharing smokes with those inside and making note of defensive fortifications and additional traps.

Amongst the chaos of the reign, the city was ablaze as smoke rose across the sky. When suddenly two large shadows appeared over the city covering the town in darkness. Suddenly several bright spotlights appeared to shine down on the city as several large arrow-shaped ships started to descend upon the city there running lights casting light on the Piikalan flag on the bow of the shuttles as they rapidly dived down towards the surface. Several massive blasts could suddenly be heard across the surface as the large shuttles touched down around revolutionary square throwing up dust and clouding the air. Revealing several large black arrow-shaped Piikalan shuttles that stood upon their landing struts. The sounds of hydraulic doors opening with a high pitched whine and a thud, As troops marched out the door of the shuttle dressed in dark grey battle suits making the Piikalan troops look like robots. The soldiers silently gathered around the square and stood there as the shuttles took off with a loud grumble throwing up more dust. To be followed by more shuttles that unloaded more troops into the square until the revolutionary square filled with Piikalan troops dressed in their stark grey battle suits. They stood silently in the square until they all in unison started to sing the Piikalan anthem while facing the statue softly. After singing the anthem, they quietly drew their weapons from their suits built-in backpack and quietly broke up into their patrols and rushed out to the outskirts of the autonomous zone. As more shuttles landed in the square dropping off creates and supplies that filled the square while heavy machinery got to work tearing down the ruins near the square and building a hospital.

The room was clouded with smoke from the numerous cigars being smoked by the President and his advisers, who were meeting with the Vice President and Speaker of the House, planning out a course of action.
“We need to get a goddamn fucking grip on this situation right fucking now.” The President said, puffing on his Cuban while standing over the table with his collar loose and tie untied, while looking at a SITREP. “It’s a full on revolution and we cannot have that under my watch. We've got God knows who invading California and by God, roaming militias invading as well. It's open combat for fuckssake."
The room was silent as those in attendance thought about what was happening while they were meeting. The Speaker spoke up.
"Mister President, due to the... shall we say, unusual circumstances, I am willing to... "
"Nancy you're not allowing shit because the Constitution and thirteen other laws already allow me intervene. I called you here to brainstorm with my cabinet as a formality and a courtesy, not for your blessing."
She sat down contemptuously, eyeballing the President, while drinking her water.
"Esper, what are our options?"
"Well, while you were ranting and going at it with the Speaker, I have formulated a plan that I believe you will find acceptable."

"We are a go in five, four, three, two, one... EAN broadcast beginning."
The room sat in silence as the Emergency Action Notification was sent out, interrupting and pre-empting all broadcasts in the nation.
"Mister President, we're ready."
He took a deep breathe before beginning.
"My fellow Americans, as you are aware, what is widely being publicized as the Second Civil War is happening right now in Berkeley, with civilians and foreign powers alike intervening in this mad house. Many of you are looking for words of comfort right now. But I simply have none. The situation is dire and we are now fighting for the survival of our nation. Left wing radical ANTIFA members have declared war on our nation, and this will come to an end now.
"With the support of the Speaker of the House, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and my Cabinet, I am issuing a disaster proclamation for the entire West Coast of the United States, including the states of Washington, Oregon and California. As a part of this proclamation, am I also suspending habeas corpus in those states and Washington D.C. for the duration of the order. I am also asking those members of the "boogaloo" movement to stand down and place themselves within the command of their nearest Army commander, or at the very least the governors of their respective states."

"While I at this time cannot disclose what actions the DoD is about to take, I would advise those civilians, first responders and government officials in the Berkeley area to evacuate as soon as possible if you have not already. As suddenly as the street lights came on, they cut off. Many were left wondering what was going on. A bombing at the power station? An EMP? Were the lines cut?
None of those were right.
Instead, all power, water and internet into the city had been cut, and a perimeter encircling the city established by the Army and Marine Corps with the National Guard assisting. The situation was tense, as every weapon was trained towards the city, and those inside of it. Surface to Air missile batteries had been set up around the city, mostly Patriots, MANPADS, THAADs and the previously undisclosed HSIW (High Speed Interceptor Weapon), a new interceptor missile designed for use against high speed stealth targets, ranging from missiles to bombers.
"ATTENTION ALL IN THE CITY OF BERKELEY, THIS HAS BEEN DECLARED BOTH AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY AND A MAJOR CIVIL DEFENSE EVENT. YOU HAVE THIRTY MINUTES TO SURRENDER IF YOU ARE A REVOLUTIONARY OR FOREIGN MILITANT. ALL PATRIOTS FIGHTING, EVACUATE." The troops were anxious, as the fifty-thousand thousand strong force awaited some sort of attack. However, the attack came from the Americans.
The call of "SOLDIERS, DON MASKS!" rang out all along the line. They complied, and moments later whistles could be heard over head everywhere, which were revealed to be cluster bomblets aimed at downtown containing tear gas.
Now it was a waiting game.

21:05 on Board the lead Piikalan Dreadnought the Edo

The two-star shogun, Iosua Kamehameha, sat quietly on the tatami mat floor in the situation room of the Edo. As his cornels, all projected on the hologram in front of him gave him their reports on the events that were happening on the planet's surface. They told him about how the primitive capitalist dogs seemed to be planning an attack of some kind as they appeared to have broadcasted some message that their translating devices said to them was some kind of local warning and order to surrender. The cornels and shogun suddenly broke out in a laugh that such a weak capitalist civilization would tell them the vast Piikalan empire. This nation spans multiple galaxies, to surrender amused them. The shogun quickly caught his breath and ordered his men to attack the Arthurian Federation troops immediately and told them to take no survivors. The shogun then hung up and ordered his fighters to take off and support the marines and shoot up the enemy. He also ordered the crew of the Edo to drop some tungsten rods around the enemy's capital and send them a message.

21:15 above Berkeley California

A small force of 25 Piikalan strike fighters came burning through the atmosphere. Their entrance left a bright red streak across the dark city sky that looked like shooting stars that quickly disappeared over the city. The Piikalan fighters in their black paint upon entering the atmosphere they vanished into the blackness of the sky. Only appearing on the enemy radars as a fast-moving blimp they quickly dropped in altitude and silently sped across the city using the momentum they had from entering the atmosphere. They were easily seen overhead as they only flew a few meters above the rooftops of the building. They immediately spotted the enemy and their anti-air missiles that quickly were shot down by the Piikalan fighters causing several massive explosions across the city as the missiles raced to catch up to the faster Piikalan air and space fighters. Then suddenly the AI on the fighters saw their targets below and opened fire dropping their bombs that exploded above the enemies raining down hot pieces of metal buckshot and flaming napalm. While their low mounted rail guns opened fire with several bright flashes shooting down large metal rods that tore through their targets and hit the ground with such great force to become buried twenty meters below ground. While flying with such speed as to only let their enemies below see a small glimpse of the black ten-meter long fighters that seemed to look like flying saucers. The fighters, after dropping the munitions, pulled up and sped off into the night sky with a sudden bright white light. Leaving a roar that could be heard for kilometres around as their Ion engines blasted gave out a quick burst that threw the ships quickly up into the heavens—leaving behind their mess after their two minutes of action over Berkley.

21:17 Berkley California

The Piikalan soldiers upon seeing and hearing their fighters arrive and take off saw their time to shine. They quickly got into their trucks and drove off to the front line where they got out and set up their weapons mounted to the back of their vehicles. The troops upon setting up their missiles sent up a small grey drone the quickly flew over the enemy troops at supersonic speeds and gathered data on the remaining enemy locations. After a few minutes, the soldiers had a 3D map of the whole area, and the enemy locations plotted the data into the rockets on their trucks. Then suddenly a massive blast could be seen around the area where the Piikalan troops had set up the missiles. The missiles could be seen taking off, leaving a bright streak across the sky as they hit all the remaining enemy locations in the Berkley area with multiple bright flashes. So the rest of the troops remounted their vehicles and quickly rushed off to the enemy locations to make sure all the enemies were eliminated. Upon arriving at the sites, they quickly pulled out the Katanas on their suits and dispatched the enemies. Ordered to leave none alive they thoroughly searched each area and made sure not to leave a stone unturned and eliminated all that appeared to be enemies.

21:18 35,786KM above Washington DC aboard the second Piikalan dreadnought the Honolulu

The massive ship carefully positioned herself above the assigned spot. While her AI and crew aimed the ship's ejection pods carefully as they anxiously searched for their targets. They finally found the places they wanted and launched the tungsten rods each a meter long and 50 CM wide the rods shot out the ship and raced away towards DC as a second ejection pod started to launch a small white ball a metre wide. The Rods quickly descended toward the planet. They hit their targets around DC, leaving several large craters around the forest that surrounded the suburbs of DC. The room was clouded with smoke from the numerous cigars being smoked by the President and his advisers, who were meeting with the Vice President and Speaker of the House, planning out a course of action.
“We need to get a goddamn fucking grip on this situation right fucking now.” The President said, puffing on his Cuban while standing over the table with his collar loose and tie untied, while looking at a SITREP. “It’s a full on revolution and we cannot have that under my watch. We've got God knows who invading California and by God, roaming militias invading as well. It's open combat for fuckssake."
The room was silent as those in attendance thought about what was happening while they were meeting. The Speaker spoke up.
"Mister President, due to the... shall we say, unusual circumstances, I am willing to... "
"Nancy you're not allowing shit because the Constitution and thirteen other laws already allow me intervene. I called you here to brainstorm with my cabinet as a formality and a courtesy, not for your blessing."

The room sat in silence as the Emergency Action Notification was sent out, interrupting and pre-empting all broadcasts in the nation.
"Mister President, we're ready."
He took a deep breathe before beginning.
"My fellow Americans, as you are aware, what is widely being publicized as the Second Civil War is happening right now in Berkeley, with civilians and foreign powers alike intervening in this mad house. Many of you are looking for words of comfort right now. But I simply have none. The situation is dire and we are now fighting for the survival of our nation. Left wing radical ANTIFA members have declared war on our nation, and this will come to an end now.
"With the support of the Speaker of the House, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and my Cabinet, I am issuing a disaster proclamation for the entire West Coast of the United States, including the states of Washington, Oregon and California. As a part of this proclamation, am I also suspending habeas corpus in those states and Washington D.C. for the duration of the order. I am also asking those members of the "boogaloo" movement to stand down and place themselves within the command of their nearest Army commander, or at the very least the governors of their respective states."
Stevenson took a breather for a moment.
"While I at this time cannot disclose what actions the DoD is about to take, I would advise those civilians, first responders and government officials in the Berkeley area to evacuate as soon as possible if you have not already. As suddenly as the street lights came on, they cut off. Many were left wondering what was going on. A bombing at the power station? An EMP? Were the lines cut?
None of those were right.
Instead, all power, water and internet into the city had been cut, and a perimeter encircling the city established by the Army and Marine Corps with the National Guard assisting. The situation was tense, as every weapon was trained towards the city, and those inside of it. Surface to Air missile batteries had been set up around the city, mostly Patriots, MANPADS, THAADs and the previously undisclosed HSIW (High Speed Interceptor Weapon), a new interceptor missile designed for use against high speed stealth targets, ranging from missiles to bombers.
"ATTENTION ALL IN THE CITY OF BERKELEY, THIS HAS BEEN DECLARED BOTH AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY AND A MAJOR CIVIL DEFENSE EVENT. YOU HAVE THIRTY MINUTES TO SURRENDER IF YOU ARE A REVOLUTIONARY OR FOREIGN MILITANT. ALL PATRIOTS FIGHTING, EVACUATE." The troops were anxious, as the fifty-thousand thousand strong force awaited some sort of attack. However, the attack came from the Americans.
The call of "SOLDIERS, DON MASKS!" rang out all along the line. They complied, and moments later whistles could be heard over head everywhere, which were revealed to be cluster bomblets aimed at downtown containing tear gas.
Now it was a waiting game.

The AAZ is willing to have a ceasefire for the time being and expects all the aggressors to leave the area or else there will be a huge battle and the world is watching.

Also, the local government has issued a travel warning into the AAZ no one is allowed in and no one is allowed out of the area without special permission.

Sarah Tan, Foreign Minister of Pilipinas and Malaya sat at her desk contemplating what to do concerning the increasingly volatile situation in America. Many Filipino and Malayans lived and worked in the West Coast, so it was important for her and the rest of the cabinet to decide what to do. The main choice would likely be to simply warn all citizens that worked or travelled there to stay safe, avoid the conflict areas and for them to contact the closest consulate. Another would be to request evacuations of all citizens. To her right was the Prime Minister, and across her was the Minister of Home Affairs, to her left was the Istana spokesperson. A few others who sat on the table were prominent members of the Parliament heavily involved with Foreign Affairs.

It would be important that the government chose to deliberately not pick a side. That move would endanger its own citizens heavily. If the movement made any direct threats to particular groups of Filipinos and Malayans, all Filipinos and Malayans near the area would immediately be advised to leave the area, either move to relatives further east or in less urbanised areas not targeted by or leave the country.

The meeting was ended shortly and the final decision was the 'Stay Alert' option, and the evacuation warning option would be a last resort, but it was not totally off the table. A travel order was also implemented which advised travellers from Filipino and Malayan ships and aeroplanes to exercise heightened caution in the West Coast cities. If the level of violence escalates significantly, the next step would be to ask that all citizens remain in their place of residence.

A press conference would be scheduled later afternoon to announce the order officially. For now, the order will be disseminated through major news outlets, government websites and social media accounts and embassy notices.
