Sarah Tan, Foreign Minister of Pilipinas and Malaya sat at her desk contemplating what to do concerning the increasingly volatile situation in America. Many Filipino and Malayans lived and worked in the West Coast, so it was important for her and the rest of the cabinet to decide what to do. The main choice would likely be to simply warn all citizens that worked or travelled there to stay safe, avoid the conflict areas and for them to contact the closest consulate. Another would be to request evacuations of all citizens. To her right was the Prime Minister, and across her was the Minister of Home Affairs, to her left was the Istana spokesperson. A few others who sat on the table were prominent members of the Parliament heavily involved with Foreign Affairs.

It would be important that the government chose to deliberately not pick a side. That move would endanger its own citizens heavily. If the movement made any direct threats to particular groups of Filipinos and Malayans, all Filipinos and Malayans near the area would immediately be advised to leave the area, either move to relatives further east or in less urbanised areas not targeted by or leave the country.

The meeting was ended shortly and the final decision was the 'Stay Alert' option, and the evacuation warning option would be a last resort, but it was not totally off the table. A travel order was also implemented which advised travellers from Filipino and Malayan ships and aeroplanes to exercise heightened caution in the West Coast cities. If the level of violence escalates significantly, the next step would be to ask that all citizens remain in their place of residence.

A press conference would be scheduled later afternoon to announce the order officially. For now, the order will be disseminated through major news outlets, government websites and social media accounts and embassy notices.

In order to defend the gains of socialism, the peaceful labor of the Azzian people, and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the People's Council, the American Autonomous Zones maintains armed forces and has instituted a universal army service. The duty of the Armed Forces of the American Autonomous Zones to the citizens, workers, farmers, and other minorities is to provide the reliable defense of the Socialist Provisional Government and to be in constant combat readiness, guaranteeing that any aggressor is instantly repulsed.

The backup power generators came on in the City of Berkeley, California and the Azzians are picking up a signal from the foreign governments wanting to invade the rest of the Autonomous Zones in California.



This is the beginning of their battle against the oppressive governments that support capitalism and corporate slavery against the American citizens this is the time for freedom from the system.

Occasionally they would spot a convoy driving past the border of the city and warn them not to trespass into the Berkeley Autonomous Zone and also a couple of United States troops walk by holding their weapons.

"And you are a hundred percent sure this will work, the CHAMP missiles and all that jazz?"
The Secretary of Defense nodded and sat down.
"The combinations of EMPs, tear gas attacks and the jamming of all communications will distract them long enough to allow us to begin taking out the mercenaries and guards, and then the rest of this shit show."
"Consider the plan approved."
The Secretary looked to his aid, who promptly walked over to the communications center, which relayed the order to the commanders in charge of the units needed for the plan.

60 kilometers from Berkeley, California and closing, 24:00, 35,000 feet ASL, 2nd, 5th and 7th Bomb Wings escorted by approximately fifteen EA-18Gs, 15 F-35As, 40 F-15Es, and supported by one E-3 which is in turn escorted by four F-16Cs.

"All callsigns, Operation: California Dreamin is commencing shortly. In approximately two minutes jamming of the entire radio frequency spectrum not used by our forces will commence, so speak now or forever hold your peace...Alright then. Airwaves flight, fire up those jammers."

After expending their payload, they would kamikaze into the downtown area, detonating themselves after having no fuel left. Next, of course came the more destructive part of this operation, with the B-52s and B-1Bs dropping GBU-31 JDAMs with the Mk-84 warhead on points pre-determined to be congregation areas for the rebels and on the outskirts of the rebel defensive lines where troops would soon begin their assault.

Once the bombers had turned back the F-35s and F-15s continued on. At six kilometres from the city the fighters released their SDBs on cell towers and police stations and and mopping up areas that were not adequately hit by the JDAMs.
As the payloads were expended, the fighters returned to base and were replaced by A-10s and Apaches who awaited tasking 10 kilometers from the city.
Ten minutes after the strikes, howitzers and mortars began shelling the rebel frontline indiscriminately for a whole hour before it finally stopped, after which three Predator drones and thirty Anafi USA drones moved in and began assessing the damage. After the damage was reported, the mortars and howitzers began firing off canisters containing tear gas into the city.
Aerial tankers were on standby to refuel the A-10s, F-16s and E-3 as needed, as the infantry and armor would not move in for many more hours to allow for the fires to die down. For now, however, multiple platoons of Delta, Green Berets and Rangers began stealthily moving in to set up sniper positions within the city itself, to provide recon and assassinate those who were believed to be the leaders and organizers in order to destabilize the movement. They were careful to avoid rebel patrols and any civilians remaining in the city, moving from shadow to shadow with their NVGs on and every precaution taken to eliminate as much sound as possible (such as taping down items that could jangle and making sure their packs were as tight as they could be). If they did make contact with the rebels, they were to eliminate the patrol as quickly as possible, and move on to their positions.

Communists, Reds, arguably a secondary threat in the modern world, the Shogunate's fears at one point were laid against the Reds of the Soviet Union, but in time and with unexpected Japanese victories against the Soviet Union during the Asia-Pacific War, the Japanese saw the reds for what they truly were with their gulags in the east, far away from any recognisable form of civilisation.

In time these gulags became homes for the reds themselves, Prisoners of War from the USSR and political dissenters against the Shogunate. However they would be defended as "Those who would strip human rights from others, are themselves, not human in that regard." And they'd remain even up unto this day. But now the threat was now arguably poised to take over not only the Japanese Empire's greatest rival, but quite very well, force Japan to take pre-emptive actions to neutralise such a threat.

Hours and hours of arguments between the various members of the Regency Council and the Shogun would seem almost endless, until finally an agreement would come out of it. The Japanese Empire, despite it's own past history with the United States, would this only this once. Seek to help the country by any means necessary. The Azzians storm out of their bunkers and open fire on the United States troops that are invading their territory the sounds of screams and gunfire fills the air a dense fog of smoke engulfs the ruins of the city.

However, the Nicaraguan mercenaries open fire on the troops that didn't get away on time killing a lot of them in the process.

More screams filled with the air as blood seen flowing through the streets as mangled bodies are strewed across the pavement and the charring remains of artwork and self-sustainable farms are seen throughout the city

The most horrific screams continue as people are picking up what is left of their comrades and carrying them to safety in an attempt to save their lives only in vain.

However, it was too late as the wounded succumb to their injuries and died on the medical tables as screams of pain and agony fill the room only to be drowned out by the sounds of choking on blood and then silence.

People started to gather around the dead burning them in a makeshift pyre singing in chants from the lines of the Internationale and also other socialist hymns.

At 1:30 pm the rebels gathered up their supplies and decided to retreat to the neighboring commune and decide to plan an attack on the United States Army.

The United States troops were scouting the area for survivors to capture and interrogate as the rest of the rebels escaped with what they had left.

Later on, the rebels were halfway to the other commune and were stopped by a patrol of their own supplying them with information on the U.S. troops and the next airstrikes that are supposed to occur that morning.

Then sounds of cheering and crying are heard from the rebels as they are so relieved to have found refuge from the massacre they evacuated from earlier that morning.

(this is becoming quite the godmod party and i think I'm just gonna quit full stop. I attempted some higher quality posts for this but yet here we are with not much of a response. I'd also like to point out that from the sheer amount of ordinance dropped on the area not much would be left for the rebels, or anyone for that matter to defend. Hell, I'm not even sure there would be any rebels left after the effective carpet bombing of the city.
