Following the assassination of Sultan Suleiman Khan and an announcement that after 2 years of regency by Prince Khalid Suleiman Khan, Princess Khadijah Khan(who will by then be 16) will be Queen:
a number of Emirates and other jurisdictions in Pashtunistan have declared secession citing that they would abhor the Sultanate being ruled by a woman (even a high-ranking lady of the court) and a number of individuals in the City of Industry and the nearby towns and villages have declared their aim of a Republic of Sharifistan (operating on democratic principles, their coalition consisting of a range of groups from working-class socialists to libertarian small-business owners) but most people have stayed loyal to the Sultanate.

Forgot to list detail of support: 2 infantry Divisions, 110 ISOF(Imperial Special Operation Forces) Operators to be as advisors unless to be called upon to do operations. Donation of military hardware and weapons systems. Food, water, medical and monetary aid is present.

The Imperial Government has approved its first colony to be established in the southern hemisphere, the name has not been decided yet but will start with a couple of towns - The Imperial Military Council has its plan approved by parliament to improve its 3 main branches, new weapons such as the MPR-08, a bullpup version of the MPR-62 will be transition in as the main primary rifle.

The Sultanate is considered less democratic, but the republicans are less organized and some republicans are communists.
