It saddens us as a nation and me personally that the conflict evolved to the point of engaging the biggest regional powers.
Our losses are important, on the economic side all of us will lose from a protracted fight.
I have personally ordered our troops to disengage and return to Samora Machel I. as it was never the objective of our government to fight Nacrad or any SEATO full member directly.
We expect the other forces to respect our retreat without further offensive taking place.

The morale was low despite the losses not being that considerable,
The issue is kergstani military acknowledged that due to the lack of military engagements in the last decades they are debilitated when it comes to the organizational part.

Kergstani government's approval went from 72 % to 65 % in few days and anti-war protests were renewed.

Statement Regarding the Nacradian Involvement in Anti-Insurgency Operations in Pohnei
2/7/2020

It has become apparent that Nacrad has decided to involve itself with police action in Pohnei against the self-proclaimed People's Liberation United Front, which, as it turns out, is backed by Kergstan. We are further notified that Kergstan has promised to disengage and withdraw from this conflict. The Federal Republic of Nacrad expresses satisfaction in the realization of error on the Kergstani part, and we expect Kergstan to honour this promise.

In the same vein, Nacrad shall stop all offensives against Kergstani troops, and instead will offer any necessary assistance in their departure from the theater. However, owing to the Treaty of Bangkok, the Armed Forces Deployment (Amendment) Bill 2020 (3) (Below referred to as AFDB), and other relevant pieces of legislation, we regret to announce that Nacrad shall not withdraw for the time being. The AFDB explicitly states that Nacrad shall pledge itself against the insurgent groups that make up the PLUF, and the Armed Forces have also promised to assist Pohnei for this purpose. Thus, the Armed Forces will maintain its presence in the region until the AFDB expires at 23:59 on 31 December 2020.

Once again, Nacrad has high hopes that the dispute may be settled peacefully, and we wish Pohnei good luck in reintroducing peace to the region.

A small, sharp ringtone assaulted the ears of a IB agent. Quickly picking up the phone, he started his basic monologue. "Hello, Intel Bureau." Shock. His face scrunched up, "What do you mean that Kergstan, let me get this right, engaged Nacradian and SEATO forces? Our hands are full with Program 10 zombies, and now we have to de escalate a hot situation." Massaging his temples, he waited for the reply. "Oh. Kergstan de escalated it." Quickly hanging up, he sent this info up the food chain.

A Gerald R. Ford carrier was prepped. In one of the many shore cities that dotted the coastline, line after line of trucks, marines, and amphibs waited to get on one of the ships. It was a slow process. Finally, the carrier left.

The division of infantry arrived at NNV David, and prepped their landing crafts, which was done in about an hour.

They finished lunch at 13:00, and departed after having a brief prayer. They set the course at Salampat, and approached with aid from naval shelling and air raids.

BNLA insurgents saw what they were expecting, an amphibious nacradian force approaching.
The insurgents with the aid of Kergstan before they left, dug trenches all around which could hold up to 3 soldiers and a stock of ammunitions, offer the necessary defense from ground troops, as the first nacradian troops docked the BNLA soldiers in the trenches started shooting RPG-7s, AK-47 fire uninterruptedly, as the troops advanced face-to-face fights often broke out as the harbor area is not extensive, houses around are many among other factors.
Most BNLA insurgents at the forefront were either killed or neutralized by the technologically superior nacradian armed forces but they for sure advanced slowly and were jaded after 2 km of pushing forward.
Some insurgents took control of civilian houses, abandoned by internal refugees and in some cases hosted by families who still live there.
This offered the insurgents a surprise factor other than the ability to not fall victim of indiscriminate attacks or bombings, maybe.
Snipers on the roofs of houses attacked nacradians and gave vital intelligence to troops below about rivals' movements, preparing the second tier of BNLA insurgents for their ambushes, hidden in the trenches under a layer of leafs, topsoil, branches and so on.

The Nacradians are not stupid. They kept asking themselves, "If I were the BNLA, what would I do?" The obvious answer is to hide in civilian homes, which they are advancing on.

"Nacradian Marines!" one of them busted into a house, only to see a pair of bodies. His fireteam walked into the house, weapons hot and bayonets fixed. Suddenly, they heard a battle cry, and a BNLA insurgent charged out, shooting at them. This had killed one of the Marines, while another thrusted his bayonet into the chest of the insurgent.

Meanwhile, a company is advancing into the outskirts of Salampat City, and they saw foxholes, before being shot at, injuring 10 and killing 5. They took cover behind walls, and called in airstrikes.

"'Nade out!" A marine tossed a grenade into what he assumed is a foxhole, after seeing the glint of the scope. All the while, the squad marksmen were picking off the insurgent snipers as well, often from the cover of the civilian houses.

Over the last few hours, the Nacradian Marines have captured a lodgement at the city. They were jaded and decided to call it a day. They hotwired cars, trucks and busses, then drove them to the intersections leading to the lodgement.

"Lord, thank you for granting us the wisdom, luck and strength to hold this beach. May your grace be with us throughout the operation, so that we may bring You to this land. Amen."

They drew up night guard schedules, and the heavy vehicles are being transported. They will hold out for 24 hours, and attack once the heavy vehicles arrive at the lodgement.

The heavy tanks finally made a landing. A total of 100 tanks landed at the beach, of which 75 landed outside the lodgement and took the defending rebels in surprise.

They decided to wait another day before advancing on Salampat.

It's undeniable that the actions of Kergstan in the past days were detrimental to our national interests but we felt that guaranteeing peace to the Basinese people was more necessary as too many actors were involving themselves.
We did that in the hope that the others would follow suit and de-escalate the conflict, but as we can see, we were too hopeful about the humanity of Nacrad.

They use excuses like expiration dates and protocols treating Basi like something that has to be devoured as soon as possible by the monster called imperialism.

Nevertheless we guarantee that our troops will not get back to Basi but me may opt for asymmetrical warfare if the aggressive actions of Pohnei and Nacrad don't stop there.

At the moment we decided to recall our ambassador and the whole staff from Nacrad as we seek to make our point clear and understood and also because we can't see how cooperation can go further with such heavy disagreements.

This telegram was received at the Nacradian Presidential Office, but the President decided to let it go unanswered until the next morning. He did read it, though. And he scoffed, "I don't see how inciding a rebellion is by any means ensuring local peace."

However, the forces at Basi were anything but winding down. They continued the naval shelling and air raids, causing much damage and taking advantage of the lack of anti-aircraft equipment of the rebels. It's the big day into Salampat tomorrow.

The DEAR successfully attacked the website of the Social Democratic League, of the House of Advisors and the Social Security e-portal of Nacrad.

They also cooperated with the Military Intelligence Agency in deactivating the electrical grid in the most inhabitated parts of Oswain.

The website of the SDL had been taken down.
Immediately after that was reported, the servers are rebooted, a CAPTCHA is enforced, and any requests from Kergstan are turned down without exception. It was back up after 15 minutes.

The Web portal of the National Health Service had not been successfully taken down, as all requests from outside Nacrad are already denied.

As for the electrical grid, Kergstan was able to disable part of the transmission lines north of Tiger Gate Transformer Array connecting Riverfort to Portsville, causing the load to be rebalanced along the Pearl River West Coast (W-1, W-2) and Pearl River East Coast (E-1, E-2 and E-3) lines, while technicians scramble to bring the downed E-1A 40 kV High Voltage Line (the one taken down) back online. Residents along the disabled section and those serviced by it reported a flickering of lights.

Press Release Regarding the Recent Provocations of Kergstan

It had been brought to my attention that Kergstan had recalled their diplomatic mission from Nacrad due to disagreements on the involvement of Nacrad in assistance of our ally Pohnei in their anti-insurgency efforts, and had warned about engaging in "asymmetrical warfare" should we continue our operations. I hereby condemn this statement, as Nacrad had only engaged itself in accordance to the Treaty of Bangkok. Kergstan has no right in impeding Nacrad, or any other SEATO member, in police action undertook inside Pohnei, a SEATO state, as this involvement is purely the internal affairs of SEATO.

It was also brought to my attention that, as of 22:00 Nacrad Standard Time yesterday (5/7), persons based in Kergstan had attacked the website of the Social Democratic League, along with sabotage operations against the electrical grid of Nacrad. I hereby gravely condemn these sabotage operations. It is urged for Kergstan to cease and desist from such informations, and prosecute all persons behind this attack as soon as possible.

It was stated that the presence of Kergstan in Pohnei is, and I quote, "guaranteeing peace to the Basinese people". But may I ask, how is inciting an insurgency which likely would become just another communist dictatorship in the likes of the Stalinist Soviet Union "guaranteeing peace"? On the contrary, how is the assistance to the local legitimate government detrimental to it? It seems that Kergstani authorities have had a lapse of mind.

Kergstan had also recalled their diplomatic mission in Nacrad. In response, I have already decided to recall the Nacradian Diplomatic Mission to Kergstan. We urge Kergstan to halt these provocations, or consequences will follow.

Nacrad once again expresses high hopes in the restoration of peace to the region.

The force at Basi pushed on all fronts. Accompanied by artillery, tanks and air raids, the forces pushed on Salampat towards the city center.

The Marines were able to clear out much of the coastal suburbs, and have pushed onto the city center itself. A wide street had been cleared for a runway, which is to be used for faster resupply missions.

A shipment of fuel has arrived, and was transported inland for storage. In addition, a large shipment of ammunition has also arrived, both 5.56x45mm NATO and 7.62x51mm.

Hello this is The Greatest and Unique God-Emperor Kiko himself it was come to me ,there is a dispute between nation about a small island this just happens to be close to my seas ,and was any reasonable Leader I Am ,I shall claim this island was mine and it's people was my citizens under my protection ,I wish this is understandable for the protection of the island citizens and they well-being they stay under my welfare program and citizen protection to assure my authority over the island and it's sourradings (sorry for grammar errors English isn't my first language )we shall send in a small Anacaian Fleet with 1 aircarrier, 25 destroyers ,10 frigate's. And we are sending some contronction teams and aid to the island citizens so they are not really part of the conflict and any attack against them would be countered violently.

The attack of the 18th Regiment "Cybernetics Combat Division" resulted in the temporary inability to access 358 websites which comprised 2.6 % of the national internet traffic, with the main websites remaining untouched.
The attack on the electrical system was effectively defeated thanks to the recent Digital Army-propped ''Electroshield'' program except in the island of Dunroa as the program there was still to be built.

The attack resulted in heavy reactions from kergstani politicians and diplomats and a protest of the CPK-members within the electrical grid staff was organzied in 24 main cities denouncing Nacrad, imperialism and the international bourgeoise.

On another note today the Central Commission for Discipline and Integrity of the Communist Party of Kergstan has reprimanded 5 delegates on their ideological adversity to the concept of ''Oranitera unity''

The Pohnei-Nacrad force are now at the doorsteps of Basi City, the final stronghold of the rebels in Basi. They are encircled.

"Fire!"

The artillery began firing on the city again. They have been firing for a few days.

"Fire!" "BOOOOM!"

Airstrikes were carried out too. Before long, Basi City might be levelled. Leaflets are dropped.

You are encircled. There is no chance of victory for you in this island. Surrender. We can give you favourable treatment. Surrender within 72 hours or we will step up our offensive.

The last resisting BNLA insurgents were killed or surrendered, Pohneian troops took control of the territory back but most of the infrastructure got destroyed by nacradian airstrikes.

The Nacradian Marines begin withdrawing from Basi, and handed over some weapons to the Pohneian Armed Forces. and will return home. They were able to return home much earlier than anticipated due to using shock and awe tactics.

However, the Air Force remained at Basi, and began surveillance duties over the other rebel provinces.
