The government of Kergstan after discovering the pohneian airstrip on Onapet Island stated that said action breached the sovereignty of Kergstan and the peace agreements between the two countries and it will have heavy consequences.

A few hour laters, 6 SU-35 approached the area and bombed the airstrip killing mostly military engineers.
The pohneian troops responded with 9K38 Igla MANPADS which failed at downing any of the jets.

To all parties involved in the Ankedo Islands dispute,

In the name of the Gods and the Goddesses, most gracious, most merciful.

Due to the increased tensions between the states of Kergstan and Pohnei regarding the Ankedo Islands dispute, the Imperial Foreign Affairs Bureau of Majapahit has decided to impose a warning to commercial vessels passing through the region not to enter the waters surrounding the Ankedo Islands, in accordance with suggestions from the Kergstani government. Furthermore, sizeable ships with capacity of larger than 3.000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) shall be guarded by personnel of the Imperial Marine Corps on board, considering the atmosphere in the region is becoming increasingly unsafe. All Majapahiti vessels that does have to sail through the islands will now fly the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation (SEATO) ensign and should not be harmed by either side in the conflict, as they will be protected by SEATO member states' navies.

As one of its close allies, we deeply sympathise with the incident involving a Nacradian tanker vessel sailing through the islands while Kergstani and Pohneian forces were engaged in a skirmish, resulting in the unfortunate and highly unnecessary injury of a Nacradian sailor and damage to the ship as well as its escorts. However, as much as we would like to ensure security for our merchant marine fleet, it is far more important to ensure that both sides in this dispute begin to make moves toward deescalation and a peaceful resolution, for not only is this conflict affecting the lives of the local population in the islands, it is also endangering the security of foreign nationals as well, directly or otherwise.

The Imperial Foreign Affairs Bureau has also issued a warning to Majapahiti nationals residing or visiting Kergstan, due to the recent protests that have occurred in several locales in the country. We suggest those who are planning to leave for Kergstan to abort their travel and those who are already there to leave the country for the time being and return home to the Empire as soon as possible for their own security.

Last but not least, we severely condemn the actions taken by the government of Kergstan in their unprovoked acts of aggression against Pohnei, which has taken the lives of Pohneian nationals. If the Kergstani government does wish for peace and harmony in the Ankedo Islands, as it has previously said in the past, we highly suggest you reconsider your militarily aggressive actions, as peace and harmony may only be established if both sides sheathe their swords and open their arms to negotiation.

Once again, Majapahit has high hopes that the Ankedo Islands dispute could be peacefully resolved in the shortest amount of time possible, taking into consideration the recent turn of events.

Statement on the Escalation of Conflict in the Strait of Kergstan

It has become worryingly apparent that conflict has escalated within the Strait of Kergstan between Ponhei and Kergstan over the Ankedo Islands. There has been reports of skirmish as of late, and unfortunately a Nacradian sailor passing through the region has been injured by a stray round. His ship will dock in the closest port within Majapahit for further treatment, and is being tended to by the best medics onboard.

However, perhaps more worryingly, the local diaspora of SEATO member states' nationals have been subject to racial violence. At the recent meeting between the embassies of Nacrad, Majapahit, Thailand and Cambodia, it was revealed that more than 25 nationals of each nation had been subject to racist treatment, in which more than half had been subject to physical violence. More worryingly, 10 Nacradians were shot by local gangs and had been heavily injured yesterday (16/6) evening, reportedly after being shouted at with racial slurs like "Chinks", "Gook" and many more. They are currently being tended to by Kergstani doctors, but have expressed intent to return to Nacrad for further treatment.

As a result, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall immediately issue the Red Travel Warning to the nation of Kergstan, meaning that members of the public should avoid unnecessary travel to the region. The Ministry will organise flights from Alamatar to Riverfort to extract nationals of SEATO member states, prioritising Nacradian nationals, for fear that the racist violence would only intensify. All concerned qualified individuals, please register with the Nacradian embassy in Kergstan.

Four Tarawa class landing ships entered the ports of the Ankedo islands. 3 were carrying 1000 Maritime infantrymen while the 4th held 900 Maritime infantrymen. We have sent troops to both naturally made islands while 32 AV 8B harriers from the landing ships attacked the man made island causing extensive damage to the base.

Due to the rise in racist attacks due to the crisis the Communist Party of Kergstan and dozens of civic society associations have organized an anti-racist march to take place on june 20th in all provinces' capitols.

This early morning, 4 kergstani patrol boats were in the proximity of Onapet I. but were not trying to land or take offensive actions.
Nevertheless 6 pohneian F-16 jets flew at only metres from the ships in a dangerous and provocative manner.

The kergstani ships decided to get back on Samora Machel I. but just miles before reaching the dock, one of the jets attacked one of the ships killing 3, injuring 5 sailors and partially ruining the ship.

The 6 Kergstani Sukhoi Su-35 engaged the f-16 in a long battle in the air in which one kergstani Sukhoi and two pohneian f-16 were lost.

Pohneian jets started to approach Samora Machel I. again and two additional jets were taken down by the BUK middle range SAM system therefore the Pohneian troops remaining left without any further action.

Lt. Colonel Angido Krola has requested the pohneian authorities to avoid further action as he promised to do the same, retreating all the ships now present around the Ankedo islands to the dock in Samora Machel I.

Angido also requested the arrival of a fire-fighting Ilyushin Il-76 as to respect the Environmental norms during warfare Act of 2012.
Supervising Col. Ante Pojmunoa criticised Lt. Col. Angido for his refusal to request the arrival of the aircraft carrier ''Geren Alat'' to the Ankedo Islands.

Joyean Maritime infantrymen have been spread out throughout the islands but a group of about 900 of them were sent to take the airbase, which was severely weakened by our assault. They were taken to the island in LS 13 landing craft. They either jumped or ran out of the landing craft and easily pushed Kergistani forces back around 80 troops from Kergstan were captured and returned to Joyea. We lost 32 men while 122 were injured. The media (foreign and domestic) are completely clueless as to what happened. The Joyean Air Corp is deploying 15 Hellcat 3000 fighters and 15 MiG 35s to Samora Machel.

The Falleo government issues a warning

Paris-The government of the Celtic Empire of Falleo issues an official red warning to all ships originating in Falleo to be in a state of complete readiness if they pass through the territorial waters of Ankedo Island.

As is well known, the Ankedo Islands are in the current territorial dispute between Pohnei and Kergastan.

According to an official statement from the foreign ministry, Falleo will stand firmly with Pohnei in the fight against the communist threat. The Navy also stated that it was sending 4 small ships with 125 sailors in support of Pohnei.

Statement of the Chief Counciloress of External Relations Aerifyu Doremy et. al in regards to the growing conflict between Pohnei and Kergstan

Feyrisshire calls for both the peoples of Pohnei and Kergstan to exercise restraint and to seek a peaceful solution to prevent greater ruin of both peoples. Respecting the right of the indigenous peoples of the Ankedo Islands to self-determination, and recognizing that the socialist government of Kergstan has respected the rights of the indigenous peoples of Ankedo Islands, Feyrisshire advocates that the government of Pohnei work with Kergstan to seek an amicable agreement that is mutually beneficial for both nations.

Feyrisshire also calls for certain secessionist figures among the indigenous peoples of Ankedo Islands and the government of Pohnei to stop unnecessary aggression and provocations against the socialist government of Kergstan and to instead work for a peaceful solution as the more beneficial alternative.

The people of Feyrisshire respects the right of Kergstan to the integrity of its sovereign borders in accordance to the right of self-determination of the indigenous peoples of Kergstan, and will not tolerate any efforts of imperialists and reactionaries to use the conflict between Kergstan and Pohnei as an opportunity to balkanize a workers' state.

The Council of Customs and Immigration reminds that there would be no change in travel restrictions from Feyrisshire to Kergstan, Pohnei or the Ankedo Islands as foreign travel from Feyrisshire remains restricted in light of the previous regulations done due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.

I today want to propose a new agreement for the pacification of the Strait of Akasea set out by the NPC's Military affairs commission and the Foreign affairs commission.

It consists of 9 points which i will read :

- Making Ankedo Islands a protectorate of Kergstan governed by the traditional tribal councils and the customs of local people.

- Establishing a special governor of the SRK to coordinate relations with the locals.

- Avoiding the exploitation of lands and seas for intrusive economic activities by any foreign force.

- Encharging Kergstan of their defense with a presence of up to 80 soldiers in the islands.

- The presence of pohneian and kergstani human rights and agreement supervisors.

- The recognition of the waters around Samora Machel I. and the island itself as integral part of Kergstan proper.

- Fishing rights for Kergstan only for the first 4 years out of the 8 years covered by the deal.

- The building at Kergstan's expense of a small equipped medical facility, of schooling facilities, the creation of a Food security facility filled with non perishable goods, a harbor and an airstrip for civilian use.

- After the 8 years covered by the agreement a referendum shall be held so that local people can decide on the best option in accordance with the technical necessities with a completely illiterate society used to other customs.

This is our last offer of peace which we hope will be accepted for the sake of peace.
We hope to work out finally a permanent solution in the next 8 years.

It has come to the attention of the empire that the nations of Kergstan and Ponhei have both claimed the islands as theirs therefore begining a conflict that shows no signs of reaching its end. It has become apparent that the empire must take a stance in the ongoing conflict in the Strait of Kergstan. If the a war broke out or if an hostile nation would take control of the Islands, Eco-empirean foreign trade would suffer. Therefore we hereby anounce to all parties involved in the conflict that we will be supporting Kergstan and their claim over the Islands and we urge Ponhei to stop unnecessary provocations against the government and people of Kergstan

We seek a peacefull resolution to this conflict and hope that this issue can be settled through diplomatic action, but we will show those who oppose us that we are not afraid of using all necessary force to defend Eco-empirean interests abroad. Therefore we will be sending a division of 230 soldiers to help mantain order and will supply the kergstan armed forces with all equipment we can provide.

The authorities of Pohnei turn down the proposed agreement of Kergstan as a bluff as it is not a peace deal but a request for Pohnei to abandon its objectives.

The authorities of Pohnei makes an official request to their allies in the crisis to lease a small number of strategic and tactical airlift aircraft in order for Pohnei to accomplish its objectives in the area in a short period of time and end the crisis once and for all.

The Cyber-Warfare branch of the Digital Army of Kergstan took over some of the Pohnei's public tv online social pages publishing a link to a propaganda video in bavanese language explaining the kergstani point of view over the Akasea Strait Crisis (1965-1968)

The attack was operated for more than 20 minutes in which 68.000+ people clicked the link.

Pohneian authorities blocked access to the link soon after but kergstani bots reposted new addressing links as comments in many popular pohneian social pages, prompting the pohneian judiciary to block access to specific social networking sites for 48 hours.

Extraction of SEATO Nationals From Kergstan

The Federal Republic of Nacrad has received more than 350 requests for extraction. As such, after a short talk with other SEATO nations and the Kergstani Aviation Authority, the Federal Republic of Nacrad agrees to launch flights to fulfill these requests.

The Nacradian Air Force has agreed to make use of its Boeing 737-700 fleet for this purpose. It is decided that three flights will be launched, on 22 June, 24 June and 29 June respectively. They are all scheduled to depart at 20:00 local time, which unfortunately means that they would arrive at the destinations in late night or early morning. The flights will be under the code ND-3553.

In addition to the destination in Riverfort, to cater for the citizens of other SEATO nationals, the flights will also be stopped at Jakarta for an hour. The detailed schedule is to be found in Appendix 1.

Finally, the cost has been determined. Nationals of Nacrad are entitled to use this service free of cost, while those of other SEATO nations will be charged a fare of NCD$20 (USD$16) per leg of journey, The Nacradian embassy will not provide transport to or from the airports.

If any eligible persons in Kergstan, namely a national of a SEATO member state, wish to make use of this service, a registration form is available in the embassy of Nacrad.

In conjunction with our Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation (SEATO) ally Nacrad, the Imperial Government of Majapahit has agreed to participate in a joint operation to evacuate citizens of SEATO member states - especially Nacradians and Majapahitis - from Kergstan; the main consideration being the unconducive domestic situation there in the aftermath of anti-war protests in several major Kergstani cities, which has left the Imperial Government no choice but to evacuate our citizens back to the Empire. Alongside aircraft used by the Nacradian Air Force, the Imperial Air Force of Majapahit shall also provide one additional C-295 transporter to conduct supplementary reserve flights.

The Imperial Foreign Affairs Bureau has coordinated with the Majapahiti diplomatic mission in Kergstan. All Majapahiti nationals who are currently within Kergstani territory must immediately report to our diplomatic mission to be accounted for. They will then be registered on either a Nacradian flight or a Majapahiti reserve flight, to then be safely flown back home.

As always, the Empire of Majapahit has high hopes that the Ankedo Islands dispute could be peacefully resolved in the shortest amount of time possible.

[Kergstan]

The scientific team who visited Onapet Island on june 14th has declared that two botanical species unique to the Ankedo Islands were discovered and one of them is allegedly used by the Anakedai people as a medicinal herb.
The plants have been included in the Kergstani Registry of botanical species at risk and the same plants are being grown in the State University of Ulukur.


The moves of the SEATO nations of Nacrad and Majapahit were unexpected as the protests have mainly quelled, the overwhelming majority of Kergstanis distancing from the isolated cases of xenophobia against Nacradian and Majapahiti citizens.

The security situation is under control and our flagship air transport company and the foreign ones are able to conduct normal commercial flights.

We hope those last passive-aggressive actions won't harm our trade relations as our proximity makes SEATO nations very important to us.


Kergstan has decided to remove the S-300VM system from Samora Machel I. as the long-range systems positioned on the southern cost, and the presence of Buk systems already is enough for the completion of established tactical objectives.
The action is also aimed at freeing space for other troops in case of need but also of easing the tense situation with Pohnei.

19:54, 19 June 2020, Nacradian embassy in Alamatar.

It was a hot humid evening, as the ambassador Nicole Kwan had just finished dinner. She has some paperwork to sort out regarding the extraction flights, so she made her way to the study.

Suddenly, a rock came crashing through the window, which rudely interrupted her. She peeked out of the window, and yelled "Who was that?"

She was immediately met with another rock lobbed at her head, fortunately it missed. She looked at the direction from which the rock came from, and saw a crowd of what she assume is angry locals. They started chanting slogans in the local language that she definitely doesn't understand, then they transitioned to English.

"Down down bourgeoisie!" "DOWN DOWN BOURGEOISIE!'
"Go home capitalist chink!" "GO HOME CAPITALIST CHINK!"

They kept chanting these slogans for a good 15 minutes, then it all went to shit, starting with a molotov cocktail which landed at the front door of the embassy. She immediately called the local guard complement and went to take refuge her residence which is shielded behind the main embassy building. The local police force was also called.

More molotov cocktails had been lobbed, as the angry protestors stormed into the embassy grounds, lowered the Nacradian and SEATO flag, and set fire to them both. Then, one of the protestors took out a rifle, and pointed it at the now-empty study, then fired a shot. The guards took it as authorisation to use lethal force, and fired a blank round into the air as a warning. Most of the crowd dispersed immediately, but it took some physical persuasion, i.e. shoving, to get some of the more militant members to leave.

At long last, the Alamatar Police Force had arrived, 5 minutes after the protesters have dispersed. An oral record, and the CCTV footage, were handed over for investigation.

Press Release Regarding the Attack on the Nacradian Embassy in Alamatar
19/6/2020

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been notified that the local population in Alamatar have launched an attack on the Nacradian embassy. Fortunately, apart from light damage of the embassy exterior, none of the staff were injured. However, the Federal Republic of Nacrad urges the Socialist Republic of Kergstan to look into this incident immediately, and protect the security of all SEATO embassies in the area to the best of its ability.

At around 20:00 local time today (19/6), it was reported that a crowd of approximately 50 Alamataris have gathered near the main entrance of the embassy to chant slogans, which we must emphasize contain certain racial slurs. This was accompanied by the lobbing of rocks at the embassy, once at the study room's window, and once directly at Ambassador Nicole Kwan's head, which would have taken her life had it not missed.

After approximately fifteen minutes, the crowd had escalated its violence, and began throwing Molotov Cocktails at the facade of the embassy. All of them landed at or very close to the embassy front gate, charring it. At that point, Ambassador Nicole Kwan had called both the embassy guard and the local police force, and had taken refuge at another part of the embassy. However, the local police force had not arrived until the crowd has dispersed. About five of the protestors then lowered the flags of Nacrad and SEATO, before dousing them in petrol and setting fire to them.

After five minutes of standoffs between the guards and the crowd, one of the crowd members brandished a rifle, which our guards were unable to identify the exact model at the heat of confrontation, and fired a shot at the study room. This alone would constitute an authorisation to use lethal force. However, our guards, out of exceptional tolerance, elected to fire a blank round into the air as a warning. Fortunately, this has made much of the crowd disperse, while the five or six remaining ones also left after scuffles and several exchanged punches.

It was only then that the Alamatar Police Force had arrived. After taking an oral record and the surveillance footage, they had also left the embassy.

We would like to remind the authorities of Kergstan that these acts of aggression by the citizens of Alamatar constitute an act of war, should it be proven that these protests are state-sponsored. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs elects to tolerate this mistake and offer Kergstan a chance to learn from their mistakes.

We expect Kergstan to cover the costs of the replacement and repair of damages caused, namely the repainting of the facade, the replacement of the flags, and the replacement of the broken window. We also urge Kergstan to increase police presence in the area, so as to prevent this incident from repeating itself.

We remind the authorities of Nacrad that civilian protests can't be considered under international law as a hostile act, unless sponsored by the state authorities. We urge nacrad to not use the last events as an excuse to increase hostilities in Ankedo.

The authorities of the Province of Almatar have imposed a state of emergency in the embassies' area of the capital city.

28 protesters have been arrested among them the one who shot at the embassy with a rifle.
Protesters have been accused of enticing racial tensions, hate speech, unlawful assembly, violent acts towards diplomatic missions, unlawful use of legally detained weapons among others.

The amount of police around the area has been increased five-fold.

The state authorities have directly sent a sum of money for the reparation of the incurred damages and an additional sum for the increase of security infrastructure.

The state radio and television are implementing educational advertisements against anti-asian xenophobia.

A solar eclipse is over Nacrad, and had just ended. The crew assigned to this flight were given the time to observe this phenomenon, and they made their way back to the plane.

A 737-700, bearing the words "NACRADIAN ARMED FORCES - AIR FORCE DETACHMENT" along the fuselage and the seal of the Air Force on its vertical stabiliser, with its registration N3-HFG takes off from Riverfort Delta AFB. It is commanded by Staff Sergeant Nathan Wai-Jun Leung and Sergeant Philip Chi-Ho Tsang. It is heading for Alamatar.

With the recent Majapahiti-Nacradian joint operation to evacuate Imperial citizens from Kergstan, public awareness about the Ankedo Islands dispute continues to increase. Both public and private media outlets in Majapahit have been reporting latest updates on the conflict non-stop and they are reacting somewhat negatively to the situation in the region. Many foreign policy analysts have commented on the issue, pushing for the Imperial government to take up a much tougher stance on Kergstani aggression, as the Ankedo Islands are located relatively close to far-eastern possessions of Majapahit. Others argued for both Pohnei and Kergstan to remove their presence entirely from the islands and leave the local islanders to decide their future for themselves.

A new poll by KTV has been conducted regarding Kergstani citizens' positions over the Ankedo crisis.

Coverage about the polls released by the Kergstani television outlet have been widespread among Majapahiti mainstream press and social media. While most of the public were unswayed by the news, some media outlets commented on how many Kergstanis view Majapahit and Majapahitis negatively and lack of positive answers, especially relative to that of Nacrad and Nacradis. The numbers even show a level of discontent for Majapahit seemingly close to Pohnei and Pohneians, even though Majapahit is not directly involved in the conflict. This fact has fueled the pro-interventionist argument even more so than before.

The violent attacks conducted by Kergstani protestors on the Nacradian embassy in Alamatar has also been noted by Majapahiti media. The Imperial government has expressed their sympathy and deep condolences to Nacrad, and severely condemned the attack. While it was relieving that no Nacradians were injured or killed during the wave of violence, the Imperial government strongly supports the Nacradian demand for Kergstani authorities to increase law enforcement presence in the affected area. Majapahit has also praised Kergstani efforts to educate the public in combatting anti-Asian xenophobia.

Kergstan has been judged harshly lately because of the events around the embassies' area but in no way our government is trying to strain relations, entice racial hatred or anything of that kind.
We can't say the same about Majapahit and Nacrad, they talk about a "kergstani aggression" which never happejed and is then parroted by their media in order to create disinformation and hatred, an imperialist method to justify unjustifiable wars hundreds of kilometres from home.
Majapahiti state television anchors go as far as taking offence over a poll, refusing to see how pohneians and kergstanis share similar traditions and heritage.

Kergstan requests a change in tones as hatred towards Kergstanis is on the rise in both Nacrad and Majapahit but it's not so visible because our media has the duty toward the citizens to inform and not to act like leeches.
We can't say the same about many other nations.

The Nacradian Air Force plane landed at Alamatar International Airport. Then the crew changed into their civilian clothes and powered the plane down, then left the airport and booked a room in a local hotel. They have been given permission to relax in the city until it's time to fly the diaspora back.

They went out of their hotel room after a night's rest, and decided to sightsee around the city, after getting a receipt from the hotel so that they can be reimbursed. Fortunately they were not subject to racial violence.

The nacradian pilots and staff were escorted from a distance by two State Civilian Security Force patrols.

Free-of-charge regional planes and buses were organized to bring Nacradians from other areas of the country to the ''Tomas Runaima'' Almatar International Airport.

The authorities of Kergstan have authorized the use of the ''Inik Nifoa'' Jasteke International Airport and the ''Ho Chi Minh'' Nuruk International Airport if the Nacradian authorities deem it necessary to use them.

The pilots went to eat some local food. They found it to be tasty and filling.

The pilots returned to the airport, and did some routine checks to the aircraft, then loaded it with fuel. Then they waited for the passengers to board.

The first of the passengers arrived. Among the 132 onboard, 27 were Majapahitis, and the rest were Nacradians.

The plane pushes back, after all of the passenger had arrived.

"Hello, this is the flight deck speaking. I am Staff Sergeant Nathan Leung, and I will be commanding this flight to take all of you back home, that is, Jayakarta and Riverfort. For your safety's sake, please pay attention to these safety instructions..."

"...there is Wi-Fi onboard, and you can connect to it after the seatbelt sign is turned off. We also have snacks at the back of the plane, so feel free to help yourselves. They're free of cost. With that out of the way, sit back, relax, and enjoy this flight!"

The plane took to the skies, first towards Jayakarta, which it arrived at 22:00 on time. Then it took off again at 23:00 for Riverfort, which arrived at 04:30.
