The Global Trade Organization (GTO) is an international organization dedicated to the tenets of Free and Fairtrade. Membership in the GTO comes with a few requirements:

• Your nation must accept all of the requirements of the GTO.
• No military aggression towards other member states.
• Adequate Treatment of workers as of these requirements: Minimum Wage of $10, no Slavery, legalized Unions, basic Workers Rights, and a GDP of at least $100,000,000 (100M).
• No Piracy. Member nations cannot accept any brand of piracy. Big Carencia is considered an enemy of the GTO due to its piratical tendencies.

Once a nation has been accepted, the rules are as follows:

• All nations will have 0% tariffs on consumer goods, no higher than 1% tariffs on industrial goods and resources, and no higher than 1.5% tariffs on all other goods.
• All nations must contribute to the GTO Protective Services, which will include Naval, Ground, and Air forces. This force will be used to protect GTO vessels from piracy and other dangers.
• All members cannot begin military hostility with other member states. Any military actions against other member states will result in immediate expulsion from the GTO.
• All members can suggest changes to the rules of the GTO to the Confederacy of Oceanor, who will consider the suggestion.(OOC: Just post it in this thread)
• All members will have complete access to the Panama Canal for commercial vessels. Military passage can be granted, but Oceanor must be consulted first.
