Originally helping with building the airports and providing humanitarian aid, now effectively the only air support the North has, the current Ourisian Intervention in Ratsiran has its' roots in the fact that the RNLA-MA shot down an Ourisian-flagged transport plane leaving Katima Airport. Mbeni sources claim it was transporting munitions, despite Ourisian protestations it was strictly for the evacuation of the embassy staff. Regardless, this event marks a crack in the long-standing Ourisian non-interventionist stance.

By 6 June, Ourisian forces have converted the Muleni "Airstrip" into a small but modern airbase, with ~1500 Army and Air Defence Force personnel defending the base with small arms, emplaced AT and MGs. Additionally, they are actively disseminating aid to the northern populace and training the RNLA forces in the area. A small CAS element consisting of a few King Huey (AKA Venom) gunships and UCAVs with JTAC support are embedded with the local RNLA garrison in the event the Mbeni Awakening forces manage to press into RNLA territory. The commander of the Ourisian Force in Ratsirana (OURFORIR), Colonel Janice Martinez, hopes that the RNLA-MA correctly surmises that her men are deployed as a 'tripwire' and that this leads to a peaceful restoration to power for Asande.

(I kept most of the numbers vague as I don't want to end up OP as fuck, and I built up the airstrip as I want to have a Khe Sanh-type siege if the RNLA loses.)

The standard infantry kit is 5, grenades, 1 handgun, 2 knives, bulletproof vest with gear pouches, HUD display helmet with full shielding, flashlight mount, and breathing apparatus, 2 day rations of food and water, 1 hour of oxygen, 1 assault rifle, 5 flares, 1 info tablet, heavy duty backpack, handheld radio, combat boots, and a flashlight. One company of Engineers to help with fortifications and infrastructure.
Vehicles: ten MT-40 medium transport helicopters, five FB-57 fighter bombers, fifty APC's with machine 50 caliber gun mounts and gun slots.twenty E-32 attack helicopters with two missile racks and 3 50 caliber machine guns, 25 self propelled howitzers.
Armament:
2000 assault rifles, 7000 handguns, 500 mortars, 200,000 standard Lacienian rifle and handgun bullets, 7,000 grenades, 4000 mortar rounds
Construction:
Building up a Supply depot and staffing it with an AA network and 100 MP units.

You are free to take partial control of General Asande since he is the main character. Partial because, I might also need him sometimes for dialogue with John Tommy.

John Tommy is Travencore Envoy to Ratsirana, so only I get to control him.

Colonel Agnaku is a character I created who is the trusted officer of Gen. Asande and hence you are also allowed to take partial control over his actions.

A C-4 Transport plane of the Travencore Air Force landed gracefully on the runway and taxied to a hangar beside the main building. This transport plane was carrying the Icarus air defence system, a unique system developed by Travencore Army, which would protect the skies against any of the latest warplanes. They use Artificial Intelligence to estimate the location of the plane using satellite imagery. The most unique feature of the Icarus missile defence system is its ability to take control (or hijack) missiles flying towards a target. It can take control of a maximum of 10 missiles

Under NO condition whats so ever is this system possible in MT. Lets get to work showing the situation how it is.
- Military missiles use encription that is high nigh impossible to crack. There is a reason why such thing does not exists in the modern world. A guy that works encryption can give you more details then me. Also in order for you to be able to even try to hack a missile you will need massive computers that use A BOATLOAD of power.

- They use Artificial Intelligence to estimate the location of the plane using satellite imagery hmm, the amount of satellites, ground bases and computing power makes this impossible as well. You will need a nuclear reactor in order for you to have the power to compute this.
I have a system that is called LADAR, but it requires a nuclear power plant and as such it is found on the largest imperial ships and bases that are permanent.

Edit: Forgot to clarify. LADAR is a system that can pinpoint the location of stealth planes as well as mass missile attacks. Ladar Data can be used only by the S 800, Super Patriot and the Guardian Systems of the imperial armed forces. All 3 of those systems are very expensive and are not used in small scale battles like this. Also a small country like ratsirana can not supply you with power for such a system like yours as well as like mine.

So, there is no restrictions on reinforcements in terms of materials like combat aircrafts, but try to keep this battle primitive, like how the creator of the plot wanted it. We can all jack up numbers of troops and of aircrafts, but the fun lies in trying to win a war with limited resources.

IC ly ND is willing to offer you a gift. 32 T 72M1 and 4 Mig 21 Fishbed fighters. Now icly the reason for why the T 64 will be back in ND hands will be that the crews are having trouble adjusting to it.

OOC ly the problems is that you want a more primitive roleplay. The T 64 is not primitive. It was a tank reserved for the soviet union only and for elite units.It is more complex and more expensive then the T 72. ICly the fighters are useless against travencore SU 33 and Mig 35. But the morale boost that your troops will receive from those fighters will be huge.

Also ND is planing a false flag operation. 72 howitzers protected by APC's IFV's and MBT's (the T 64 crewed by ND crewmen) will move in to provide artilery support to the NRLA MA faction near Beno city. They will be shelling positions and its protection will not engage in direct combat unless attacked.

OOC i always thought the T-64 were more primitive as they are a decade older and have been replaced by most countries nowadays.

Travencore thank you for the attack on Katima City. As per discussed in the OOC i am preparing for a false flag and IC ly i have reinforcements landing on the airport. Those 2.000 man are well trained and well equipped. No matter how much you trained your forces, RL training for a QRF as you try to make it takes over a year. So it will be like the US army vs the iraqy army. It will be a massacre
