The mountain air was warm and crisp. The moonlight was shinning down on the pine and spruse trees that surrounded the small Fexian army base. The sounds of about 300 Fexian soldiers sleep in their barracks gave the fails since of peace. There were six guard towers two guarding the main gate and four at each corner surrounding the barracks and armory. Three guards were standing watch Two were down by the main gate Four were doing patrols around the peremetter. Surrounding the base was 512 Collectivist Revolutionaries hiding in the thick trees. This base was small but it was important. Capturing it meant that the mountain pass would be clear and the Revolutionaries could have a supply line through the Hermose Mountains. At the south end of the base the Four patroling guards would meet this area was dark. Lane Cross Waited for this moment he was a former Fexian Special Ops. Marines until he was discharged. He creeped up the four guards were look straight at him but they did not notice him. Lane aimed his Suppressed BR-44 shot the four with four bullets. They had 3 mintues to enter the base and disable the power so that the rest could enter through the main gate. Lane and five others cut through the fence and sprinted to the generaters and simply turned them off. The power was off. The guards were aware that something was not right. Snipers in the trees shoots the two gaurds one guards head blows up like a melon. The guards in the towers start firing aimlessly the soldiers awoke and run out of there barracks armed wit BR-44s and TAR-10s. The gate is opens and the revolutionaries poured in the towers guarding the main gate were on fire. Lane runs to the barracks, lights a torch, and throws it through the window. The sound of automatic rifles were everywhere. The sound was quickly dying out. In the end there 60 Fexian soldiers alive. Only 32 of the 512 of the revolutionaries died. This was the civil cry.

While watching the NSNN, NationStates News Network, the Prime Minister was shocked to hear that one of their outposts went spured an alarm within Fexian Military Inllegence. The Prime Minister rushed to the chambers of the Chancellor's Council and told them was happened, that a allience nation of ours has a standing military coop that captured a important military outpost. This outpost was declared important to the new military infracsturuce that was being created and it gave way to pass to the many East Fexia.

"well, what were they createing", a Chancellor asked the prime minister. The Prime minister told them that they were were creat the new artillary technoloogy that was supposed to shoot 3 armor pireceing rounds in 1 minute threw a rotating like gester, it was called 'Tri cannon'. It was a gattling gun technology that used artilliary rounds instead of standered bullets and carries on a truck. it also had a long range and could go as far as a 50 mile radius.
"well that is serious! we must make sure that weapon should not be used to the old established government. We must take action!'

after diliberation, the order was given that we would send aid with COs, commanding officers, to make sure that weapon is destoryed or put out of commission for time being.

they gave 500 Twin Barrell Tanks, 100 Seahawk tactical Helicopters, and 20,000 Republican soliders to be shipped within the hour and dock in the Fexian city off the coast.

Comrades Abdi and Sean, deep in the territory, come to a small town. They duck into the forest and hole themselves in a bush all day, taking it in turns to sleep. As night falls, the pair sneak out, still dressed as farmers and carrying their packs. The night is dark and still. Sean walks casually ahead towards the town, and sees no guard. He tilts his head to one side and gives a large yawn. Abdi sees the signal and dart ahead. They work all night in the dark streets and shop windows, spraying slogans and pasting posters.



On a billboard near the main road:

Across the doors of the bank, whose outdoor cameras have been sabotaged:

Across the street, directly in front of the police department:

On the church door, a short manifesto of libertarian socialism and anarcho-communism is nailed, with other radical literature scattered throughout town.

They leave a pipe bomb filled with black and red confetti under the statue at the center of dawn, set to 'explode' at noon.

The 20th flying column back in Sagatagan has been reorganized to be one century of a flying column of 500 militia, and stands by with the recently formed 31st column, ready to intervene in Fexia. The two have between them 1000 militia, 60 transport trucks, and the following vehicles:

3 FAS Liberator (infantry fighting vehicles) ( 3 machine guns)
5 FAS Coyote (armored cars) (machine gun)
2 SAS Sickle (light tank) (flamethrower and machine gun)

The militia is organized in flying columns, each of which contains a mix of weapons for maximized versatility. These are run democratically when feasible, and by elected directors (who bear no special honorific) in crisis. The basic unit is a squad of around ten soldiers. Every two squads make up a platoon. Every five platoons, on average, are organized into a century. Every five centuries, on average, make up a single column- some columns skip the century and are made up directly of, on average, 25 platoons. The militia columns each send a respresentative to the Revolutionary Committee of the Popular Militia to guide the force. Elected directors and committee members are not considered to have any rights or honors above other soldiers, and a popular vote can, in any time but combat, dislodge a committee member or director. Columns are allowed to quit the Committee if they feel the need.

The morning came Five states to the north have seceded the the federal empire. Queensland, Alalamus, Kannada, Thilges, and Porras they have formed a new nation The Collectivist Republic of Fexia. Senator Miles Forman has been elected president. To the west a mountian outpost was captured Opening the pass into the Hermose Mountians(Mountians in this range are 14000FT) for more collectivist rebels to flood in form Colorida and Mercado.

President Jared Smith Is under much stress. The Federal Empire was falling apart. General Paul Busch was ordered to The Presidents office along with General Allen Lebette, General DaKota Smith, and General David Gomez. "our allies Will arrive shortly sir ", Said General Busch "we will meet with them at Port Andrae." "Fexia must look pethetic to them we have been through two wars in the past year." Said President smith looking out the window of the office. "I thank them for supporting us. What about the Communist litaratry that is being spread across the west?" We're not sure sir there seems to be the work of other communist nations." Replied General Gomez.

After 20 hours, the NX carriers ,with battleship and destoryer escort, finally saw the cresent of the fexian Land. the grunts do not know this land very well, but 3/4 of the Commanding Officers do. They remember how they served in the Fexian/West Bankingham War, and then again to help the Fexian Army make sure that their precisous reserves did not get taken by an another force. Major Weston remembers a particular battle in the Fexian/West Bankingham War:

"i was with the 252nd army brigade, lance corporal, and we were pinned down. We all hid behind the tanks and fired at odd times against the Bankinghams whom was covered in the trees. My comrade was 1 class pvt, van. we trained together, we laughed. I cried when his coffin was carried by the sargent on NX lands"

With permission from the dock, the carrier was able to park to unload. General's DaKota Smith & David Gomez were to first meet Colonel Demez with Major Weston And 1st Lt Light by his side, they were in a triangle formation.

When Major Weston spotted General Gomez, Weston instantly remembered his face when in the 252nd Brigade; he was a 2nd Lt of the time, Leader of the brigade.

They walked into a shipping warehouse where the Fexain/Republican Soliders started setting up the base.

In the west collectivist militia have captured a major mountain pass. They have also captured many of our oil reserves in west bankingham and kirkstawn. I say we move our 200000 soldiers north to Dalesburg. Move our reserves from Harmon into Ravada and retake the pass. What do you think Colonel?"

Dalesburg, Ozarka pop. 405,364
Dalesburg is the capital of a Collectivist Ozarka. They seceded along with Back and joined the Collectivist Republic of Fexia. Dalesburg was important for Fexia to hold because of it strategic location for the movement of oil to the rest the world. There are 25000 Fexian soldiers surrounded by 200000 collectivist rebels. The rebels have artillery placements around the city, and LASAMs (LASER ASSISTED SURFACE TO AIR MISSILE) the rebels are armed with BR44s (5.65mm) and TAR10s(9mm). There was ten who had made it alive whith a poorly functioning radio.demboss alerts you that the jet had ski-32 rifles and other guns and ammo. They may have fell in rebel hands.

"Well the pass is in the western part of Fexia here," General Gomez pointed his finger down on the map,"Dalesburg is 2500 miles east here." "We have a Naval blockade of the coast of The northern states." Added General Smith. "I say we cut The Collectivist Republic in half, and send troops into the mountians to retake the pass." Colonal Main Bass Informs the men that a Military supplies jet crashed in the mountians last night. "Whose supplies?" Asked General Gomez. "Demboss Sir."

Federal Soldiers where placed in the city to protect the main oil thoroughfare before the war. Know that the Ozarka as seceded federal troops refuse to let the city go.

Collectivist general Nathan Marks has placed troops along the board,but for some odd reason by tactical error or tactical gennius has left a hole in the line in the Applelonia mountians. (this moumtian range is no highr than 6500FT)

The 1,000 Sagatagan militia's committee sends a message to the Fexian collectivist command requesting permission to position themselves in the hole in the line.

The militia moves into position and digs in its trenches along the mountain ridge, overlooking the pass, in two lines with machine guns, sand bags, and mortars. The vehicles are kept in reserve to counterattack through the pass if need be, and smaller squads and individuals are scattered through the area in sniper nests. Any bridges through the pass are set for demolition, as are any rock faces overlooking the road. A second foxhole complex is built opposite of the actual trenches, given a token guard of 20 soldiers, and wired with dynamite. A black and red flag is raised over it. On one rock face near the lines, a slogan is painted in large letters:

"agreed" ,Colonel Demez said to the generals, "we must start mobilizing to the pass post haste!"

The Cargo from the Carrier is finally unloaded and 3 brigades are formed: 2000 soldiers, 50 tanks, and 10 Seahawk Helicopters are divided into with mobile artillery support to help the main front of this brigade.

7 Hours Later: there was an erie calm at the begging of the pass. With all brigades in position from the Judaical Republic, they were ready to put it into action. the main brigade started there slow climb into the pass while the artilliary was bombarding the small outpost of which the collectivist captured

OOC: According to the telegram i got, NX401 intends to attack my pass, but the convo the general were having indicates a different pass, as Fexia stated in the above post.

Sean and Abdi hit a billboard on a road:

The collectivist rebel colonel Dan forks and 2000 rebels were in the trees being as quite as they could be. Most of the rebels were untrained but they were hunters. The federal and republican brigade was claiming up the pass M3 rockets from mohawks shoot from the forest of pine and spruce trees hitting the tanks. Automatic gunfire springs out.

Smith reports that our soldiers where ambushed in the mountains while transporting troops in a vally. so we ask fexia if I may set up artillery and my wolf snipers to secure area and to engage the enemy there will be many casualties and also to stealth bomb the pass Appelonia. fallowed by my rebel soldiers?

On the quiet of the front in Applonia, the militia have been hard at work, digging deeper bunkers into the hillsides. It is slow, arduous work, paused only for food, sleep, and the mourning at news of the Militia's defeat in far-off Ryvinica (other war we're in), but it was something to pass the days productively, and the details of the barrages of artillery that had laid their comrades low overseas strengthened their resolve to dig deep.
