Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. --- Internal Memorandum

      DATE: 11/3/2004
TO: Isaiah Powell, CFO Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc.
FROM: Miyashiro Rokuro, Head of HRM Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc.
      SUBJECT: Mitsubishi Zaibatsu suicide debacle

The Human Resource Management Department of Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. has recently compiled a report indicating that suicide in Mitsubishi Zaibatsu - the Japanese territory that is under the direct jurisdiction of Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. - is the leading cause of death in males aged 18-42. According to the report, the current suicide rate stands at 24.6 per 100,000 persons. This has had an adverse effect on productivity within the company and might damage its reputation in other developed countries in the future. Several independent investigators hired by The Mitsubishi Zaibatsu Governance Council, L.L.P., who conducted their research through both external sources and covert, direct interactions with Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. employees, have identified the leading causes of suicidal tendencies as financial obligations and adverse workplace practices. To rectify the situation, Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. will employ a more lax approach to lending, based upon less regard for credit ratings and lower interest rates. A deposit insurance initiative is also being discussed within The Mitsubishi Zaibatsu Governance Council, L.L.P. Middle and senior-level managers employed by Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. either directly or through one or more of its subsidiaries have been instructed to refrain from issuing any workplace orders or directions, either explicitly or implicitly, that would require excessive, strenuous effort. Employees will be discouraged from appeasing their superiors by working overtime, thereby providing them with more time for their families. Pursuant to your instructions and company bylaws, no media outlet has been informed of the issue or the actions taken to rectify it.

United Front Ends at Feuerstein's Hand

Ever since his rise to the position of Chairman, Georg Feuerstein has made clear his intention to move the party in a new direction. He has repeatedly stated that the United Front has fulfilled its purpose of agitating in preparation for the revolution and now the party must prepare itself to serve a revolutionary role. While his choice to launch an upset just ahead of an election in which the United Front has virtually no chance of even securing a seat seems completely asinine, that isn't even the farthest extent of his ineptitude. He has recently made public his intention to remake the United Front into an exclusive and highly disciplined organization with an established party line. The entire purpose surrounding the foundation of the United Front was to unite socialists into one unified, big-camp organization that could complete in elections, which makes this attempt to not only refine the party to a single line but also to place obstacles in the way of membership shows a complete lack of understanding of what the organization is.

What's worse, however, is the dangerous national chauvinism that plagues his politics. His speeches and statements are entangled by constant appeals to the German identity as an integral part of the development of socialism in Germany-Bisingen. His rumored agreements with reactionary and infamous nationalist Edgar Stahl only corroborate this claim and expose his true intentions. Since he became Deputy Chairman under the leadership of Joel Schmidt, his allegiance has always shown to be to himself first and foremost. While it may indeed lead to his downfall, it is undeniable that he will drag the socialist movement down with him if we are not vigilant. Feuerstein has already taken the first steps in enslaving our cause in his most recent declaration: that the Socialist United Front be replaced with the "German-Socialist Workers-and-Farmers-Party". This successor organization is a tool created for the sole purpose of furthering Feuerstein's power play. The first step to reclaiming our movement will be inextricably tied to an immediate demand for his resignation and, if he refuses, a takeover may be necessary. Therefore, Die Roten calls upon all its readers to work to that end. We may not win tomorrow, but if we can return Chairman Schmidt to his legitimate place, socialism will live on for millennia.

Voters Approve Landmark Constitutional Amendment to Term Lengths

      December 2nd, 2004

Voters went to the polls yesterday to determine whether to approve a Constitutional Amendment that would change presidential term lengths to four years, fix election dates at December 17th, and change legislative terms to two years.
      Image

The French Special Referendum Commission established for the quick organization of the referendum has reported that, with a turnout of 75.2%, the Constitutional Amendment has been approved by 63.8%, a significant margin.

While exit polls were not held, experts have speculated that the reason for the approval of the amendment has to do with historically high approval ratings for President Clemenceau, which are stable in the low 60s. Clemenceau's approval ratings have improved greatly due to his handling of the Tomboco virus, which ensured minimal deaths in France compared to other nations, as well as the relative stability that France has maintained during his tenure, despite multiple political splits. The approval of this amendment extends his term to January 1st, 2006.

Several high level sources have also stated that the amendment was pushed through due to the unprecedented disruption of the Tomboco virus to preparations for the 2004 elections, which, with the approval of this amendment, has been pushed to December 17th, 2005. The United French Federal Party, the French National Republican Party, and the French Social Party have announced that they will discard the results of the 2004 primaries in light of the approval of this amendment, which has caused some outrage by supporters of the candidates that won those elections. Experts, however, expect that the candidates who won the 2004 primaries will win the new 2005 primaries as well. The French Labor Party, Great France Popular Movement, and New French Federal Party have stated that they will retain the results of the 2004 primaries, to some controversy.

May Day Sees Paramilitary Activity Spread Throughout the Country

Image
Current map of control in Bisingen.
Government control is in blue and
DSABP control in red.

The paramilitary uprisings in Thuringia and Saxony last week stayed largely contained in those areas and calmed down somewhat until May Day demonstrations swept through the country yesterday. While initially peaceful in the morning and afternoon, by the evening armed insurgents had come out in full force. Many major cities throughout the country are now under occupation by the German-Socialist Workers-and-Farmers-Party (DSABP), which was recently banned due to their refusal to instruct paramilitaries under their control to surrender to police. Recent events suggest the uprisings may have been a result of a direct order to the German Workers' Army paramilitary from DSABP leadership. A compact of several states across the country have banded together to suppress insurgent activity in their borders. This has proven successful in Bavaria, Brandenburg, Lorraine, Luxemburg, and Hamburg among others. Currently, any large-scale conflict has still yet to break out with the military on orders to avoid violent confrontation, leaving the police to bear the brunt of control the uprisings. While Prince Regent Luitpold has still steadfastly refused to authorize military force to retake control of occupied areas, he has allowed the military to take strategic positions in areas still under government control.

The DSABP has also taken a more assertive position, setting up a provisional capital in Dortmund and proclaiming itself the sole legitimate government of Bisingen. According to leaks from the party, a deal was recently made with Prince Engelbert where the DSABP agreed to recognize the legitimacy of the monarchy for an unknown period of time. The rebel government still, while they do recognize the comatose King Peter II, doesn't recognize Prince Luitpold as Regent nor the Reichskammer or Volksrat as holding any legitimacy. They also claim Prince Luitpold to have voided his claim to the throne due to his failure to protect the German people from predatory elements in the economy and government. The DSABP now declares itself to be acting as a regent for the King, and has declared Prince Engelbert to be heir to the throne. To respond to the new threat of a more organized force than initially anticipated, the military has been fully mobilized and positioned alongside key areas of the Rhine, splitting some cities between socialist and government control.

Communist Students Revolt Across Bisingen

A student group calling themselves the Schwarz-Rote Fäuste (Black-Red Fists) have taken to the streets across Bisingen. According to both the students and the DSABP, this communist group is in no way tied to the North and its government. This revolt, which is in many ways an aftershock of the Spring Uprising that saw the country split in two by the revolutionary DSABP, there are multiple factors that set this uprising apart. First, whereas the Spring Uprising was led and carried primarily by working-class and impoverished folk, this new group is primarily made up of students. The second major distinction is that the students are much less heavily armed. The DSABP had, well before their uprising, formed paramilitary groups and armed them, but the students are almost entirely unarmed. The weapons they do wield are primarily makeshift blunt weapons. The third distinction is that they appear to be much more extreme than the DSABP. The Black-Red Fists have called for the immediate dissolution of government and a return of power to local popular control. The primary cities effected are those with large universities such as Freiburg, Munich, and Stuttgart.

The movement is not, however, contained only to the South. The same movement seems to have also appeared in many cities in the north as well. In fact, the largest presence of protesters is estimated to be in Cologne. Only minor street violence has broken out so far, but it is unclear what the self-proclaimed communists will do if their demands aren't met. It is also yet to be seen how the North will approach the situation. While the protests are unaffiliated with the party, the is fear within the Southern government that the North could ally with the communists in an attempt to take over the South from within. Whether this will be the case is hard to predict, especially considering the communists have rejected the Northern government as well. How to deal with these student protesters is also unclear. King Luitpold III had extreme reservations about using the army and police to crack down on revolutionaries in the spring, but since then his position has changed significantly. Whereas he was only regent at the time, he now has near-unlimited de facto authority as King. In addition, the DSABP was heavily armed, and many of His Highness' concerns involved starting a Civil War when confronting the armed paramilitaries. The students are, as previously stated, mostly unarmed so using the police to contain them will carry with it significantly less risk. At the same time, the students are less organized. This would make placating them without conceding too much to them a possibility as well. Whatever route His Highness takes, he must be swift. A quick and deliberate course of action is needed if stability is to be preserved.

Sultan Mohammad IV Announces Withdrawal From CSAT

Earlier today, Sultan Mohammad IV announced to the nation that Makassara will be withdrawing from the Canton Strategic Alliance Treaty. In his announcement speech the Sultan claimed that the Songjiang Empire is a shadow of what it once was. Ever since the Canton Confederacy declared their independence with little to no resistance from Songjiang the Sultan has criticized the Emperor for being weak. He stated in his speech that "If the Songjiang Government drags their feet on matters within their own country, how are they going to defend those they have aligned with." This decision will not affect international relations with other CSAT member states, Makassara will continue friendly cooperation independently.

The Sultan announced at the same time that the Makassaran Government hereby recognizes the Cantonese Confederacy as an independent state and wishes for diplomatic cooperation going forward.

Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. --- Internal Memorandum

      DATE: 23/06/2005
TO: Edward A. Thain, CEO Shinra Defense Services, LLC
FROM: Tsuge Utamara, CEO Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc.
SUBJECT: The DSABP and the Bisingener crisis

Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. has shown that it is incapable of exploiting existing opportunities and co-opting otherwise problematic contemporary issues, thereby creating value for its shareholders, by neglecting its role in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Germany-Bisingen and choosing to remain uninvolved in the dealings of the EC. This ends now. Shinra Defense Services, LLC has been authorised to engage in negotiations with the DASBP in order for Mitsubishi Zaibatsu to re-establish itself on the international arena and to promote the Keiretsu’s interests in Central and Western Europe. You are to contact Ansel Graf von Teutschenthal, the DASBP’s foreign relations liaison and proceed accordingly. Failure of any kind will result in the termination of your employment at Shinra Defense Services, LCC and Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc.

      SUBJECT: Japanese Liberation Initiative

Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. has spent almost a decade contemplating the subjugation of the Republic of Japan. A full-scale, proper invasion is feasible, but impractical given its effects on key holdings in Japan and overseas, as well as overall corporate image. Shinra Defense Services, LLC has been authorised to contact Bosnian mercenaries funded by the Sutherysken government. You are then to meet with Japanese billionaire Natsuki Shirogane and offer to cover the cost of renting a militia to subjugate the statist Japanese government. If Mister Shirogane accepts, you are to proceed accordingly. Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. will allocate its resources to anti-government propaganda. The Bosnian mercenary force will raid key Japanese government buildings and military compounds, forcing the central government to capitulate. In the event of the Japanese government refusing to yield, Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. will intervene directly. Plans for the possible military incursion are currently still being drafted.

      Committee completes reconstruction bills

      July 8, 2005

The Upper Committee met today to declare the end of the reconstruction period. Over the past few years, newly privatised construction companies were funded and contracted to assist in the rebuilding of destroyed areas throughout the country. As a result, a semi-thriving industry has hatched within the Union.

The last of martial restrictions will be loosened in the west, while some will remain in the Great Lakes Region and Texas. Military forces, however, will be replaced by the National Guard.

Pre-crisis naval patrols will be reinstated as well as scheduled air flyovers, following the renewed power levels of the military. All of the equipment losses during the crisis have been plugged. In addition to this, a new generation of military, many gaining experience during the crisis, as well as some studying under French staff, are finally ready for practical use.

The future seems bright for the Union, a burgeoning private sector and recovery from the crisis being more than a long distant goal.

TO: Edward A. Thain, CEO Shinra Defense Services, LLC
FROM: Tsuge Utamara, CEO Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc.
      SUBJECT: Japanese Liberation Initiative

The time has come for Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. to act on the basis of the values - liberty, entrepreneurship, peace and prosperity - that it stands for and unify the Japanese isles and people. The Japanese Liberation Initiative will commence on the 1st of July, 2005. The short-term objectives of the undertaking are to swiftly subjugate the central government of the Republic of Japan and to contain the domestic and foreign fallout. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Hyogo Divisions, 100,000 men in total, will fortify the border and protect Mitsubishi Zaibatsu from a southwards offensive. The Bosnian mercenary force will launch a raid on the surrounding areas of the Tokyo Prefecture, while maintaining a distance from the city itself. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Chiba Divisions of the Meiji Shogunate and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Chiba Divisions of Mitsubishi Zaibatsu, 200,000 men in total, will then proceed with an incursion into the heart of the Tokyo Prefecture, meeting the enemy with overwhelming force. Several air force and naval assets will be deployed to bomb military installations and overall hinder the Japanese war effort. You will be sent further plans after you have seized the Tokyo Prefecture. No declaration of war is to be issued at any point in the conflict.

Luitpold von Bisingen Abdicates, Flees the Country

Due to pressure from the General Staff of South Bisingen, Luitpold von Bisingen has finally abdicated. As the king flees to Sutherysk, the entirety of Bisingen is finally reunified under one monarch: the legitimate King Engelbert, beloved royal and respected member of the Presidium of the DSABP. Luitpold will continue to receive support from the royal family through a trust fund, but will no longer hold any titles of royalty or nobility. With him out of the way, a path has been cleared towards reunification. King Engelbert has made a compromise with the government of South Bisingen wherein the South will retain rights to self-governance outside of DSABP control and in return, the border area will be fully demilitarized. Both armies, that of South Bisingen and the German Workers' Army will now both serve the King but as a part of separate governments. This solution has been dubbed "one country, two governments". Berlin will continue to serve the same role it already does, as a jointly-administered area where both governments can interact with one another. Another part of this compromise includes the formal unbanning of the DSABP in South Bisingen. The party will continue to be barred from participating in elections and is prohibited from governing the South in ay form, but it is allowed to operate as a charity and advocacy organization to help relieve poverty in the South.

This compromise has also been made to address the crisis regarding the French Federation's attempt to annex southwestern portions of the country. Credible reports indicate that the German population of Alsace-Lorraine has been mistreated by the French occupiers, so His Highness has made clear his intention to restore self-rule to the people living under French tyranny. The regions which have been forced to reorganize under the government of West Bisingen will henceforth, at the command of both North and South Bisingen governments, be reorganized into the Western Bisingen Zone. This zone, however, will not retain the same degree of autonomy that North and South have. Instead, it will operate as an autonomous region under the South Bisingen government. The area will be demilitarized by South Bisingen, but a local militia is to be formed that pledges its allegiance to the government of South Bisingen and King Engelbert. Local government is to handle most affairs in the region for the foreseeable future, but the government of South Bisingen has announced its right to remilitarize the region if an attempt at secession is made.

The offer you have provided to me is interesting but I must ask what is in it for you?, and how do you expect to get around the fact that you are offering this as an international corporation. As you know the current government of Toluca would in no way be interested in working with a Corporation even one lead by a native of Toluca. If you have a plan to remedy the current roadblocks to us accepting help from your corporation that I can present to the rest of my peers I would be open to talking about that.

The operations going forward need to be peaceful in nature use lethal force only when forced to. Continue to gather defectors and allies from within the Tolucan military. The event we discussed ca procede as planned if all goes as planned they will be forced to concede to allow the SOT to run against them as a party or risk a civil war. We will be ready in case of both events. If the second event comes to pass we must be prepared for Niagara attempting to reclaim us. To that end we must continue to visibly weaken Tolucas military while adding it to our own secret force, if the Niagarans attack we will then use it against them.
You are clear to eliminate my brother as a threat but do not kill him. This will be an exception to the non violent expectation above. Hold him for a few days then let him go show them that we can reach them were they live.
      That is all for now.

Office of the Senior Minister
July 30th, 2005

Public Release
Announcement For The New Corporate Charter Process

For too long the process for creating a business within the Sultanate has varied across the different provinces. Under orders from the Sultan I hereby unveil the newly ratified process for creating businesses and corporations. The laws have not changed on who may start a business, only the process is changed. In order to register a business officially with the government, the aspiring owner must submit a charter application to the Trade Ministry's Commerce Department detailing how your business will be structured and what goods and/or services the business will be providing. If accepted the applicant will be sent their charter in the mail, once received the charter must be displayed inside the business if the owner possesses a storefront.

If an already existing business wishes to be incorporated into a corporation, the owner must submit a corporate charter to the Office of the Minister of State. A corporate charter is similar to the business charter, however it requires more details and any future plans. The corporate charter application is opened to the international audience as opposed to the business charter which is for Makassaran citizens exclusively. If accepted, the newly formed and/or registered corporation will be added to a list of officially recognized corporations and will be allowed to conduct business within Makassaran borders.

The Citizen's Guide to Helmandi Annexation

      08/05/2005

Hello prole! If you are reading this, your nation has been acquired by the State of Helmand. Finally, we can liberate you form the disgusting squalor you live in.

      How does this work?

You will soon see Helmandi peacekeepers in your borders. Don't be afraid, quarter them in your homes if you need! It's mandatory to do so, as per the third article of our constitution!

That seems wrong. I don't like Helmand

      Nonsense!

What if I want to elect my leaders?

You can! In all major cities, you can find voting booths for the current party. In rural Khalistan, we have benevolently placed opposition booths.

I'm a young activist passionate about my nation. While I may have some ideological squabbles with Helmand, I am a patriot. How can I contribute?

You can join the army! With all conscriptees, we will pay forward your generosity with a life insurance policy! It's the perfect summer program for kids.

In conclusion, there is no reason to be scared. You are merely under a new nation.

ANNEXATION OF CALAMA PROPER

On this day, the annexation of Calama begins after the region successfully recovered with the humanitarian efforts of Santanan entities from all natures. Ranging from youth groups trying to help out, non-profit organizations and charity groups that operate out of the compassion of their hearts. Civilian infrastructure has seen an increase, as damages caused by bombing runs and general fighting have been reduced and the scars of the land left about by the war have begun to heal. Industry has returned to the cities as well, especially in Benica and Acosta. After much deal making and promises to the people of Calama over the years, the region will now begin the process of annexation and become one of Santana's newest provinces. It holds a good influence already as it is home to the Pampas Nuclear Facility, the first operational nuclear plant in Santana, not to mention its own rich history and beautiful locations.

Since the acquisition of the southern Andean mountains and Malvinas, the two regions have seen massive interest from mining corporations like Campano Mining Corp, who seek to extract the oil located under the waters of the islands to then export. While in the Andes, the massive ore deposits of copper, silver, zinc, among other precious metals has attracted the same amount of interest from companies and organizations who look to extract the metals for use within the country and exportation to other nations around the world.

      SUBJECT: Meltdown

The Toluca President appears to be falling apart. I suggest you consider pushing him over the edge in some way. We both know he wont step down. His back and forth with Santa Rosa politicians is just digging his grave for us. Just remember we need to beat him in an election to avoid international issues.

Program of the German-Socialist Movement
Produced by the DSABP People's Commissariat of Ideology
Approved by the Presidium of the DSABP on August 19th, 2005

The German nation has lost patience with the system of capitalism, which has demonstrated its essence to be of a divisive nature to Germans. It has divided Germans between states, between classes, and between parties. Therefore: Germans! This is the program of a genuinely German movement. It is German because it is for and of the German soul, the German heart, and the German mind. It is socialist because it is practical, innovative, and against idleness.
For the ensured and eternal prosperity of all Germans, the German-Socialist Movement proposes the following.

To address the economic division of the German people, we demand:

1. The abolition of class-based society and the creation of a society of merit where all Germans are born as equals.
2. Assurance that all Germans have equal economic opportunity.
3. The harmonious economic cooperation of Germans towards a prosperous future.
4. The implementation of land reform in such a way that maximizes the prosperity of the German people.
5. The redistribution of wealth and titles based on merit and dedication to the German people.
6. The banning of speculation.
7. The nationalization of businesses that fail or refuse to bring prosperity to the German people.
8. The abolition of passive income.
9. The abolition of usury.
10. That all capable and hard-working Germans receive a quality education to the effect of maximizing their potential.
11. That each German fulfills his or her duty to work, unless deemed unable to.
12. That universal and free care for the elderly and those unable to work be implemented.
13. That the duty of wealth be to better the conditions of the German people.
14. The nationalization and state management of banking services.
Image

15. The abolition of suburbanism in as much a totality as is possible.
16. That the standard of living be raised in rural as well as urban areas.
17. That common good comes before self.

To address the political division of the German people, we demand:

1. The unification of all Germans under the authority of and in devotion to the German-Socialist Workers-and-Farmers-Party.
2. That the fate of the German people be decided by the German people and the German people alone through the democratic process.
3. That all Germans be eligible to run as a representative of their peers.
4. That Germans politically cooperate to maximize the prosperity of Germany, not compete against one another for self-interest.
5. The intolerance of both isolation as well as foreign interference by the leadership of the German nation.
6. The denunciation of internationalism, which leads the German people astray from direct participation in fulfilling the great task of the state and nation.

To address the international division of the German people, we demand:

1. The recognition of the German nation as a single nation.
2. The unification of the German nation into a single state.
3. The recognition of the German nation as indivisible, insoluble, and sovereign.

New President Sworn In, Vows to "End Bloat"

      August 27, 2005

      Image
      President Nazarat Nazari.

The undercovered election of 2005 has concluded, with candidate Nazarat Nazari coming out on top, holding 43% of the vote. Famously, the 2005 election was known for it's fractured and rushed party system, leading to lack of a clear winner like all other elections. Polls went as followed:
Winnner: Nazarat Nazari (Afghan Conservative Party), 43%
      Amaratunga Liston (Independent), 21%
Reza Reza (Helmandi Liberal Party), 17%
      Grumbo (Grumbo Party), 9%
      Robert Kennedy (Write-in Candidate), 6%
      Other, 4%

The winner has espoused a number of policies which appeal to the common Helmandi, from reorganizing the ineffective Guard Corps to consolidating local investments instead of embarking on new foreign adventures. This message has earned him appeal with the world-weary Helmandi voter base, who have grown tired of costly wars and scandals.

In a press conference after his choosing, he was heard saying:
Our nation has grown fat off the spoils of war. It is time to exercise!
This conference was met well, although protests surrounded the hall he gave it at from rival parties, angered about the lack of a majority. The election indicated a change for a number of parties, such as the Liberal party, who had been mostly sustained by populist president Mohammad Mohammad Mohammad falling behind. Mohammad markedly refused to deliver an endorsement for the party's nomination, General Reza Reza, hoping to leave the political scene.

Another marked development is Helmand's radicalization. With the decay of the predominantly moderate Liberal party, Socialists under figurehead Amaratunga Liston and his paramilitary message have established a greater power base in and around Gorgan, where they stay. Likewise, the islamic Reformer's Party did not field a candidate this election, promising other means of changing and moving her base of operations to the Shiqi Sultanate satellite state. The regional split seems apparent, with Nazari arguably winning the election by being the first to campaign in newly-acquired Khalistan, where despite voter suppression and his own western heritage, he was chosen in a landslide.

Nazari, however, returning to his roots had called the recent oil bust as proof that "oil must not be our only industry," promising more urban development. This rhetoric made him the preferred candidate of newer, startup businesses, as Aryan Oil's Consortium interest group backed the wrong horse, supporting the stagnating Liberals.

Not all support Nazari, as government workers walk away dejected. Most fear that Nazari's rhetoric is scarily similar to that of the ruthless internal policies of ex-President Mohammad, who was noted for highlighting specific government groups and individuals as the cause for Helmandi problems, and swiftly purging their ranks. Additionally, despite his upset in Khalistan, many Gujarati and otherwise more compassionate groups oppose Nazari.

Following an upset victory, new president Nazarat Nazari has a lot to prove to the world, and seems dedicated to do so.

Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. Launches Freefall Nottingham Retail Commission-Free Online Trading Platform & App

Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. will be launching Freefall Nottingham, a new retail commission-free online trading platform available as both a website and mobile application, according to a press release issued by Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. Global Chief Operations Officer Michael Delaney. The platform offers common working class people and even students, primarily Gen Xers and Millennials, the ability to invest in stocks, ETFs, and options, and provides them with tools previously available to finance professionals.

The platform is the brainchild of 26 year-old Takano Satoshi, who founded Freefall Nottingham Markets, Inc. in 1999 following the collapse of the Asian Trade Sphere, which resulted in a worldwide selloff and global recession, and the balkanization of the Japanese Isles. The company didn't achieve that much of a breakthrough until it was bought by Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. in 2002 for HK$7.85 million and received another HK$10 million injection allocated to the development of the Freefall Nottingham platform.

"I just thought," Freefall Nottingham Markets, Inc. CEO Takano Satoshi said when pressed, "what if my parents and my colleagues could make a little money on the sidelines without having to leave the house and without having to set aside a meaningful sum because of the insane commissions charged by contemporary brokers? I don't know, maybe they could have kept their household budgets intact in spite of the effect that the dissolution of the ATS had on the economy and therefore on their jobs. When my father lost his job at HLR, I suddenly felt a conviction to democratize not only investing, but also day trading."

When asked about the peculiar and somewhat disturbing name of the platform, the young Japanese developer said: "Of course, it's not a direct, serious reflection of my worldview. The name is meant to serve as a mockery of the top 1% and the countless financial services firms that walked away unscathed while its clients suffered irrecoverable financial losses. 'Freefall' refers to both the act of suicide and a sell-off, with the latter often being the cause of the former. 'Nottingham' is a reference to the adversary of the legendary Robin Hood, an outlaw that stole from the rich and gave to the poor. The caustic 'message' is 'take from the poor, give to the rich', the prevailing mindset in the financial services sector."

According to Shinra Pacific Holdings, Inc. Global Chief Operations Officer Michael Delaney, for the first time ever, retail investors and day traders are just as much of a force in the financial system as conventional, traditional brokers, institutional investors and the uber-rich. "Smart money will still be the dominant force in the market, as it always will be," Mister Delaney said in a brief interview with Joel Weber, "but Freefall Nottingham will give a voice to the millions of middle class, upstanding, law-abiding citizens who decide to fulfil their dreams starting with as little as a 10 dollar deposit."

Freefall Nottingham's products are commission-free trades of stocks, ETFs and equity options. Its innovative features include instant deposits, up to 20x leverage, margin trading and new market analytics. The company has no office so as to not take commissions, and instead relies on transfer fees to generate revenue. A user-friendly fee schedule and order suite is available on http://www.freefallnottingham.com [click to open in new tab]. Takano Satoshi also added in a press release issued on the 24th of August that the platform will soon be introducing systematic investment plans, automatic dividend reinvestment. Mister Satoshi further stated that fractional shares support will be ready by the time the platform officially launches in late September.

Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. Announces Formation of Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. as Wuxing, LLC Moves Assets to Qatar Amidst Canton Secession

Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. Chairman Dr. Togoshi Aki announced on the 25th of September that Wuxing, LLC has agreed to a merger with the company. This comes after the looming threat of Cantonese forces launching an incursion into Shanghai finally prompted Wuxing, LLC CEO Kim Woo Jin to authorize the evacuation of corporate personnel and relocation of assets from Songjiang to Yaheli territories, primarily Qatar, Sinhala and Bangkok. The company incurred few losses, as the Cantonese Confederacy was paid to facilitate the process and ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Dr. Aki revealed in the official statement that the merger of Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. and Wuxing, LLC will lead to the formation of a new, larger, more comprehensive company, namely, Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. Xing Mei, the wife of the Songjiang Emperor, will retain 26% of shares outstanding in the publicly-traded conglomerate, whereas former Z-Tech CEO Shinji Akari is entitled to a 25% stake in the new company. According to Dr. Aki's statement, this ensures that the two parties cooperate on all matters pertaining to the strategic drive of Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc.

The press release also revealed that Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. will co-opt the Board of Directors of Wuxing, LLC and the Board of Management of Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc., whose CEO, Tsuge Utamara, will serve as the CEO of the new company. Former Wuxing, LLC CEO Kim Woo Jin, on the other hand, will serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Its likely that the reason why the terms of the merger are so favorable to Wuxing, LLC is the fact that Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. wished to appease the Yaheli federal government.

The formation of Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. is not just a strategic partnership between Wuxing, LLC and Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc., but also an unofficial - but close - association of Japan with the Republic of Yahel, which as of now relies on Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. to maintain an extremely diversified economy. Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc., on the other hand, will now rely on the Republic of Yahel to maintain a strong presence in the Middle East, Hong Kong and Rykovian countries.

Wuxing, LLC is known for its security contracting business and sophisticated military capabilities. Now that Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. has inherited all Wuxing assets, the merger will compensate for and offset the impairment of Japan's naval capabilities, which resulted from the decimation of the Zaibatsu Corporate Navy following the Japanese Unification War. Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. will also take over the development and production of the air and naval assets marketed by Wuxing, LLC, such as the renowned W-23 multi-role stealth fighter. The merger is, therefore, an unprecedented expansion of Mitsubishi Zaibatsu's military capabilities.

Oddly enough, the events that lead to the merger are reminiscent of the circumstances of the formation of Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. following the collapse of the Asian Trade Sphere and dissolution of Z-Tech Co., Ltd. This time, however, in spite of yet another political crisis in mainland Asia and the disastrous crude oil bear market, the bold undertaking is a step taken to restore Shinra & Subsidiaries, Inc. to its former, superior, more powerful, self. Shinra Wuxing Group, Inc. now faces imminent confrontation with just two hostile forces and adversaries: communism and its legacy, and the HK$36 billion Tolucan conglomerate - Aztechnologies Co., Ltd.

Recipients of federal subsidized car program offer complaints, praise for "Rosautos"

BURANGO, BARUC — Many complaints have arisen about the Rosautos subsidized car program offered by the federal government. Several users of the program's benefits have decried how low-quality the cars provided tend to be.

Filberto Wang, a rural farmer from Baruc, says that his subsidized car came with 150,000 miles on the odometer and reports very poor gas milage.

"This thing burns through gas, like I'm talking 15 miles per gallon. And it's not like a van or a truck or anything, so it's not like I'm trading off MPG for space. Because it's got none," Wang said.

Geraldo Sierra, a professor of economics at Bahia Negra University, says that "that's kinda the point."

"The Rosautos program clearly wasn't created with the vision of providing everybody with super fast, clean, economic automobiles," Prof. Sierra said. "It was to increase local demand for gasoline, which the low MPG would contribute to. And by supplying people with old, roadworn cars, it creates an automobile dependency for that individual, and they'd be much more likely to go out and buy a normal car when it eventually breaks down."

Wang admits that despite the low quality of the car, it's enabled him to earn much more money for himself and his family.

"Prior to owning this vehicle, I was stuck being only able to sell my produce very locally, and that meant I had to compete locally, too," Wang said. "Now I can hop into my car and drive over to the next town and the next town after that. I have much more options."

National Assemblyman Pico Morales (S-Ageo), who was the original sponsor of the legislation to create the Rosautos program, says he is proud of what it has done.

"It's much better than a hefty bailout to the oil industry, in my opinion," Morales said. "We can see that it's impacting the individual lives of so many people in so many good ways in a way that a lump sum to Petrosa wouldn't."

Professor Sierra says that the program's impact on mitigating the oil price crisis, however, is "vastly overstated."

"This is a program that spends a billion dollars annually on what is essentially charity," Sierra said. "While we'll see that the economic benefit of this program is positive for individuals and communities in the long run, it may have little results when it actually comes to repairing the broken oil market."
