Today at 13:00 HRS, the official document that legally allows for Puerto Grau’s autonomy within Santana to be changed. This implies that Puerto Grau is now an integrated territory. The annexation of Puerto Grau holds great significance since these lands were gained from the Trujilio war. These specific lands, Santanan soldiers fought in. And gave their lives for the sake of ending the illegal drug trade in southern Trujilio. This land has the blood of many Santanan men and women flowing through it. Their sacrifice can not be undermined, and this land will now be integrated as part of the greater Santanan nation. Approval for Santanan occupation increased from 30% to 70% over the last years after Santana began rebuilding the infrastructure of the region. And opening up many hospitals for the sick and wounded. Not to mention there is a large approval rating for Giovanni Beneveti in this small region, a surprisingly high 85%. It is safe to assume that the annexation will be welcomed. Puerto Grauins are now Santanan citizens, of those with the same rights, those who live Grandi Alberi, in Andes Superiore and Entrotelli, etc... can now holds hands with those Puerto Grau, flying the banners of peace.

Puerto Grau will retain its flag, subdivisions and finally receive its own police force, replacing the Santanan MPs in this regard. More changes will come as time passes. Today is a day of celebration and brotherhood for those of Santana and Puerto Grau. These same actions will carry over to Calama soon enough. The reconstruction of the region is already underway.

Emperor Qing Jang-Hyuk, and Wuxing CEO Xia Mei have been Married in the first public royal wedding in Songjiang history with millions in attendance as hundreds of millions watched on television and the internet. Prominent figures from many nations attended including officials from the Mbale church, President Caturangga and First Lady Kartika of Sarwanusa were among many honored guests that attended the wedding as personal guests of the emperor.
While many of the emperors personal guests tended to be state officials it was noted by many that most of the new empresses guests were corporate leaders and bankers.
The ceremony was to be conducted as both a Taoist and Mbale catholic ceremony as the emperor is a known taoist, and the empress is a taoist mbale catholic.
The service will began at the newly refurbished St Mong Kok's Chapel at midday and will be conducted by the High Lord Lu Huang Zexian of Songjaing, Tao high priest. Deng Jie. The Most Revd. Owanga Jang, Archbishop of Beijing, will officiate as the couple make their marriage vows.
At 1pm, following the service, the couple traveled around Beijing in a horse-drawn carriage, providing an opportunity for members of the public to see them and join in with the celebrations.

In other news General Luo Jun mastermind behind the Songjiang nuclear project has been accused of playing down the destructive power of the atomic weapon and its side effects to the royal counsel. He is officially accused of knowingly deceiving the Emperor and the council about the weapons capabilities and its downsides after he repeatedly stated that it was far less radioactive than a nuclear power plant going critical. He is also accused of deploying the weapon without consulting with the council and the emperor. The General has maintained that he did not require permission since permission was never required before for deployment of a specific weapon during war time against the empires enemies. Trujilo upset with Santanan annexation of Puerto Grau

LIMA, PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF TRUJILO — President Nube Nazeem of Trujilo has expressed his "contempt and udder disapproval" of the annexation of Puerto Grau, a former territory of Trujilo, by Santana yesterday. The small bundle of provinces was occupied by Santana during the Trujilo Drug War after Santa Rosa occupied the rest of the country. After Santa Rosa released Trujilo as an independent republic in 1999, President Nazeem has made it an administrative goal to reunite the entire country under his democratic government.

"It's such a shame that there wasn't an arrangement that we could've made to sort this situation out," President Nazeem said in an office address. "Instead of opening dialogue with us to reintegrate these essential provinces, where Trujilans have lived for centuries, Santana just annexed and conquered the territory like it was their own."

Santa Rosa, a fellow member of the Panama City Pact and and Trujilo's closest ally, has not issued any statement on the matter, opting to preserve their cordial relationship with Santana. However, several onlookers are worried about the impact this will have on South American relations.

Geraldo Pupusa, a resident professor of international studies at the University of San Pablo says that the move exemplifies the stratification that is taking place between Santa Rosa and Santana.

"We can transparently see that there seem to be two axes that are expanding by the day, and the Santanan axis just grew a few more inches," Professor Pupusa told El Universal. "The handling of Puerto Grau would've been a great opportunity to display unity between the Santa Rosan sphere and the Santanan sphere, but now we're seeing incrementalism at play once again."

Both Santana and Santa Rosa have grown significantly since the late 1980s. Santa Rosa annexed the previously independent countries of Cisplata and Velasco in 1992. Santa Rosa also invaded Barnetia in 1991 and Trujilo in 1999 and later set up collaborator governments. Santana assisted in the 1999 invasion of Trujilo and set up a puppet government in Calama in 2002.

Government Coalition in the Upper House Repeals Multiple Landmark Competition Laws

Despite increased belligerence between right-wing and left-wing elements in the government, the right-wing government coalition in the Reichskammer has continued to remove restrictions on monopolistic and anti-competitive practices. The decision to repeal the law appears to have come as a result of a deal made between the Konservative Partei and multiple large corporations, mainly in the automotive industry in hopes of bolstering economic growth. Such animosity is unusual for the Reichskammer, which, being the upper legislative house, should be above the petty political squabbling which the left has encouraged. The resulting increase in tension in the lower house, the Volksrat, which is also controlled by a right-wing coalition, has been much more dramatic. A session last week, for example, saw the opposition walk out in protest, in a gross show of partisanship. The opposition in both the Reichskammer and the Volksrat has made multiple requests for the elderly King Peter II von Bisingen to block the repeal, but he has steadfastly refused to take any action to contradict the government coalition in the Reichskammer. As a result of the political tension, an agreement made between top leaders of the Koservative Partei and the collection of socialist parties, the Sozialistische Einheitsfront (SE), shortly before the Volkskammer election in 2001, which vowed to increase cooperation and compromise for the, would seem to have fallen apart, or so indicates a statement made SE Deputy Chairman Georg Feuerstein wherein he vowed to henceforth oppose any legislation brought forth by the governing coalition on a matter of principle. This contradicts, however, a statement made by SE Chairman Joel Schmidt, who stated the SE will continue to seek compromise with right-leaning elements of the government for the sake of advancing workers' rights. While we can all hope the SE will see reason and rally around Mr. Schmidt, a worrying number of the parties higher-ups have sided with Feuerstein, a worrying prospect for all Bisingeners who value stability.

The Duke of Westphalia took part in the 4th Workers Without Work Charity Day, helping to raise money for relief for the unemployed in Berlin's Wedding neighborhood, one of the city's poorest. During the event, Prince Engelbert gave a speech addressing the need for people to stand together and show charity to their neighbors as an effort to end poverty. Criticized by some for flexing his popularity, the Prince has certainly convinced many of Bisingen's lower class that he's on their side and has their interests in mind. One volunteer at the event remarked "It's very stark, contrasting him with other royals. I don't think I'm alone in saying many of us here have felt forgotten about since the death of King Heinrich, and I think in these past few years [Prince Engelbert] has really brought back the feeling that there's someone at the top who hears us."

Crown Prince Luitpold, has not enjoyed the same popularity as his brother, Prince Engelbert; a fact that, unfortunately, looms over him as heir to the throne. While few dare to challenge the constitution's rules on the order of succession, a handful of Prince Engelbert's strongest supporters have suggested Prince Luitpold should abdicate in favor of his brother should he become King. While only a minority suggests such an unprecedented move, they are certainly a vocal one and have made their position well known. Many of these proponents also tend to be political extremists, notably on the left, which damages much of their credibility. Whether such a ridiculous demand will even be addressed by the House von Bisingen remains to be seen, but it is apparent at this point that the idea will not and should not gain any traction.

Terror reigns across the countryside and separatism bubbles underneath the lid of the entire continent. Chadstrong and Hodge-Valez, some of the Union's best generalship, are now in Toluca with their forces, surely grappling for a push into the South. While we have an immense numerical superiority, with almost 1.4 million soldiers under our command, they're stretched thin across the continent. In addition to this, the Traditionalists possess some of the most experience soldiers in the entire Union, only out-classed by Hampton's army, which is tied up in Cuba. However, what the rebels do not have is guns, armour and any semblance of tech. They have whatever they could carry to Toluca, as well as the poultry armoury of the Tolucan Army. Even with Santa Rosa's support, the Tolucan Army has more people than guns. With this in mind, this war will be won with tactics and the supremacy of technology rather than numbers and the supremacy of will. The Union's general strategy for the war is to decimate the soldier base of the Traditionalist faction, and in the long term, to weaken any rebellious region's capacity to function independently of the Union. The first phase of this begins now: with the widespread mobilisation of our forces, high tension regions (Texas, the Great Lakes, Ohio) will be suppressed. Martial law has already been declared within these regions, but a greater emphasis of forcefulness and destruction needs to take place. Destroying important cultural and societal assets, banning the use of local slang, moving any promising children out of these regions and closer to the heart of the Union, etc. A full directive will outline this practice, but starting from now, and soldier stationed in these regions, or in transit through them, has a duty and obligation to desecrate the value of local culture and force assimilate them into the new policy of the 'Greater North American Culture'. Operation Typhoon has two main objectives: 1. Eliminate the enclaves of Traditionalist and Hardliner forces inside Niagara. 2. Weaken the operation capability of the Traditionalists and Tolucan Army in North Toluca The largest Traditionalist enclave in Toluca is in Pennsylvania. Forces in Antes Proper, the Mid-Atlantic Region and the New Capital Region will be organised to face the roughly 200,000 soldiers in the region. By capturing Rochester and Ithaca from the enclave, the forces in the region will be cut off from those within Pittsburgh, and have to move closer to Albany. The Army will then be split into two, allowing our forces to push them against the back of the Hudson River, pincering them from both sides. With around half of the force defeated, our own forces can move to surround Pittsburgh and demand an oath of loyalty. If they refuse, we push into the city. Other Traditionalist enclaves are trivially small and will need far less co-ordination and strategy to eliminate. Objective 2 will require air domination over Toluca. Special forces will be dropped into the North, and Mexico City, to wreck havoc on the region, as well as disturbing the flow of order. It is unlikely the Tolucan people will tolerate "Niagaran" soldiers in such high concentration for too long, and our goal is to incite dissent between the Free Tolucan Army and the Traditionalist Army. The entire Shogunate is shocked and in deep pain at the loss of the Great Shogun, Fuhimito the 1st. The Shogun is believed to have had a sudden, and fatal Cardiac Arrest, and was found dead at 12:30 am. The time of death is believed to be 12:00 midnight, with the cause being a prolonged case of Cardiomyopathy, resulting in a cardiac arrest. The medical staff assigned to care for the Shogun at those hours were arrested, for negligence in regards to the Shogun. The Shogun had no children, and so the heir to the Shogunate now remains unclear.

The advisors to the Shogun have been seen to hold an emergency meeting behind closed doors regarding the sudden death of the Shogun, no comment has been released by any advisor thus far.

Recently Santana has received multiple deal-breaking offers that it simply cant turn down. Today Santanan chancellor, Giovanni Beneveti signed the document that put into place a subdivision in the Ministry of Communication concerning the usage of satellites and other devices that relate to cell connection, and others. Giovanni Beneveti also accepted the loan by Mitsubishi Zaibatsu, at a value of $45,000,000 HK. With this loan, Santana is able to advance its communications sector, though 90% of this money will be allocated to the Sub-Ministry of External Communications. In due time, Santana will be able to have its first civilian satellites in low-Earth orbit. Being able to transmit information much quicker and much more reliably than older methods.
That isn't the only deal that came from Mitsubishi Zaibatsu, though. Giovanni Beneveti has looked around the country, looking for acres of land where the Japanese entity could build its car manufacturing facilities. These facilities will boost employment substantially and will provide Santana with more modern cars, the revenue from this project will be around nearly thirty billion annually. Oil in the Falklands

In addition to the many deals that Santana got from Mitsubishi Zaibatsu, oil has recently been discovered in the waters around the island. Many companies, most notably Caladeni Heavy Extraction, a subsidiary of Campano Mining Corp. have shown great interest in fracking the natural gas of the region, as well as extracting the oil around the island’s water. This was met by massive backlash from nature groups and other groups that oppose urbanization and industrialization.
To the knowledge of most, CHE will most likely follow through with their plans of oil extraction in the region. Many in the Santanan legislature are divided on the matter, it will take CHE a bit of time until they can really start extracting if in the end of the day they go through with it. The Falklands are federal land, mostly because of its acquisition during the recent war with Calama. As it stands, the matter is quite controversial, and many are unhappy about the issue in general. More will be elaborated on once more information arrives concerning it.

National Assembly committee questions Bonturi about $2.1 billion weapons purchase in closed hearing

CIUDAD BELDAD — The Armed Services Committee of the National Assembly gathered today for a hearing. Not a typical hearing, where some industry officials give little speeches and the politicians fall asleep on their desks. This one was behind closed doors, with all reporters barred from entering, and the words spoken inside the chamber were strictly confidential. And to add to the drama, the man who was shuffled into the room was ordered there by a committee subpoena. And to exaggerate that drama even further: it was the Vice President of Santa Rosa.

Jefte Bonturi wasn't testifying in the capacity of Vice President. He was there as the Minister of Defense, a job which was controversially given to him in addition to his role as the nation's second-in-line. The Major General was subpoenaed only a day before by the committee's chairman, National Assemblyman Roberto Fillo. Fillo is a member of the same Democratic Party that Bonturi and President Bukar Breno Bellarosa are, and like everyone else in the party, is an ardent supporter of their conservative president. However, Fillo is a fiscal hawk. When his Socialist counterparts in the committee raised alarms of over $2 billion in checks from the Ministry of Defense to the foreign nations of Songjiang and Sarwanusa, Fillo decided to kindly order the man in charge of that ministry to speak.

Bonturi obliged, but with two conditions; one, it would be confidential and behind closed doors, and two, it would be the next day. He had no time to waste. Fillo agreed and called an emergency session of the Armed Services Committee for New Year's Day from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Overnight, media speculation went haywire. Two billion dollars? Why to Songjiang? Why the Ministry of Defense? What is it for? Is this normal? What are they buying? Why is everyone freaking out? What does Songjiang know? What about Sarwanusa?

The Congress Building was quiet this morning, as would be expected after such a debauchery-filled night such as New Years Eve. But every National Assemblyman on the Armed Services Committee came ready with their notes and their staff, prepared for a hearing that would last up to two hours. Jefte Bonturi showed up on time, escorted by a couple of bodyguards, ignoring the press that filled the hallways. He made his way inside of the committee chamber, and when the door closed behind him, that was it.

Reporters patiently waited outside the chamber in silence for the allotted time slot, and at exactly 2:00 the Vice President exited the chamber and made his way out of the building.

The hearing, of course, was confidential. However, several committee members discussed their thoughts afterwards. Juan Krasinski, a Socialist member for Choco's 2nd district, told reporters that what he heard was "alarming."

"I don't understand why this hearing had to be kept under wraps," Krasinski said. "The citizens of this republic deserve to know why their tax dollars are being spent overseas, and especially in such a momentous context as this instance, which I'm not able to discuss."

Chairman Fillo defended the secrecy of the hearing, especially afterwards.

"What was discussed today comes under the protection of confidentiality for matters pertaining to national security," Fillo said. "We also respect the current national emergency in place and that has some bearing on the extreme measures taken today."

And as of tonight, that's all the public knows, and all that the public allowed to know. Until there are leaks, or unless Bonturi or the Bellarosa administration publicly admit what the funds were used for, what was said behind those locked doors today is only up for speculation.

High Court Votes, Primary, Grape Famine Progress, and Royal News

After almost two weeks of debate between members of the High Court the swift battle to amend the constitution is over. With 4 nays and 2 yeas the motion failed to move to the next step of approval. If the measure would've passed President Cortez and any President after her would've had the ability to run for three consecutive terms instead of two. What brought about the rare debate in the High Court isn't clear but many speculate behind the scenes political scheming had something to do with it. President Cortez denied any involvement stating "While I support allowing candidates to serve three consecutive terms I wouldn't have ran for a third term myself." President Cortez has already served longer than the usual eight years after being sworn in to the office in 1992 after President Gaona was killed on the Lache-Occitania border.

With less than a year until the general election and five months until the primary the 2004 Presidential race is heating up. On the conservative side former Representative and one time conservative nominee Rita Navarro and current Vice-President Daniel Espina are vying for the conservative nomination. Two months ago the primary tilted in Representative Navarro's favor but the two candidates are now virtually tied in polls across Alicia. Experts credit the Vice-President's rise to his constant mention of his time in the navy, bi-partisan past, and support for raising the military budget.
Three liberal candidates are vying for the nomination. Leading the pact with 40% in the polls is Secretary of Education Rosco Olivera. Close behind is the Mayor of Madrid Scarlet Hidalgo with 35% and rounding out the small field is former one term representative Tonio Dario. President Cortez has stayed out of the liberal primary only stating "Secretary Olivera is a fierce fighter for our children's education."

With Winter here and the grape crop harvested experts have released predictions. With over 65% of the grapes wiped out last season and wine becoming a scarce item the federal government approved close to $2bn in different forms of relief to grape farmers and some winery's. Experts at the Department of Agriculture have predicted next season will see roughly 25%-35% of the crop wiped out by the mold plaguing the fields. The department released a spray to place on the grapes stating "It doesn't work 100% of the time but will help the majority of our grapes and farmers." Royal Makassaran News Service December 12th, 2002 Serial Killer Shot Dead, Another Captured On November 30th of last year, 3 high profile inmates broke out of a maximum security federal prison. All 3 men were on death row for the serial murder of 13 women and 4 men in the 1980s and 90s. The 3 men are identified as Omar Prasetyo, 38 , from Dayaka, Zikri Sayid, 41, from Tanah Hati and Abdul Yusof, 37, from Gorontalo. All 3 men were tracked and arrested by the Royal Investigation Service in 1998 and sentenced to death in 2000. On the night of November 30th all 3 convicts ambushed and murdered a corrections officer to make their escape. At around 12:30 PM today a South Kalimantan Provincial Police (SKPP) helicopter noticed a campsite in an area of jungle believed to be uninhabited. At roughly 1:30 the SKPP sent a group of 8 officers to investigate the area, as the officers came within 100 meters of the camp they suddenly came under fire from the direction of the camp. The officers returned fire and called for back up. 30 minutes later 20 more officers were airlifted to the area by helicopter. The firefight lasted approximately an hour and a half. Once the gunfire ceased the officers approached the camp site. Upon their arrival they discovered the body of Zikri Sayid with a M16 rifle and a pile of spent shell casings. Police found Abdul Yusof hiding in his tent, he was taken into custody without incident. Further inspection of Abdul's tent revealed roughly HK$ 500,000 of counterfeit cash along with multiple escape plans. President Bellarosa plans to extend national emergency until October

CIUDAD BELDAD — During a conference with Democratic Party senators today, President Bukar Breno Bellarosa announced that he intends to renew the national state of emergency, which is set to expire April 28, for another 6 months. The emergency order, which will require further approval by Congress, would continue to grant the President broad and sweeping powers in the midst of what he calls "a time of great global conflict and tension."

Bellarosa has used the emergency powers to upgrade infrastructure, relocate and resupply soldiers, and confirm officials to top offices without the bureaucracy and delay of Congress. He initially made the declaration last October after the Niagara Union entered a state of civil conflict. The President seeks to renew the order after the recent embroilment in the Edward Islands colony between Santa Rosa and Albion, wherein Albion decided to withdraw.

As required by the Constitution, his first state of emergency was approved by more than two-thirds of each house of Congress. Though the President enjoyed bipartisan support for his initial declaration, the chances of the Socialist Party's congress-members enabling a second declaration are appearing slim.

Senator Benedetta Torres (Socialist-Levítico), the Senate minority leader, is among those who have raised objections as to why President Bellarosa would need his emergency order renewed.

"It seems that this conflict in Niagara is settling down," Senator Torres said. "There's no need for the President to continue to wield absolute authority. This is setting a very dangerous precedent."

The last time that a national emergency order was used was in 1991, when Paul Oppenheimer overthrew the government in a military coup and used the order to give himself absolute dictator-like powers.

Results of International Online Registration Show Foreign Populations, Signs of Censorship

An online registration website posted about three weeks ago has shown the number of believers around the world. Almost 90% of the population of Yangladesh has registered, many using the free computers set up by Jahyang around Kingston. Other nations with notably high populations are the nearby Hispaniola and Taino islands, where 28% and 12% of residents registered as believers. Outside of the nearby area, 3% of the population of Japan have registered, and while access to the internet is extremely limited, significant numbers are also coming out of African nations.
These results have made these nearby islands a "top priority for further conversion attempts and Rasta establishment," Jahyang's Secretary of Missions, legendary reggae artist Ziggy Marles, told the Rastar earlier this week. Further, the registration program has seen no viewership from Sarwanusa and the French Federation, strongly suggesting government censorship. Jahyang has not responded to requests for comments on this matter.





Fort Charles to House Jahyang and Cabinet, Official Rastafarian Religious Center, renamed "Casarasta"

Jahyang has declared that Fort Charles (pictured right), a fort originally built in the ages of old Montego, to be the new religious center of Rastafarianism. He has named the complex, which is currently under construction to improve and update the architecture, "Casarasta." He and his cabinet and a few other notable personnel will live in the complex, which lies on a peninsula across the bay from Kingston. Access to the peninsula is for registered believers only. In addition, Jahyang has ordered the clearing of trees on the nearby island, Refuge Cay, but has not stated his intentions with the 20-acre plot of land.
Jahyang has released some plans for the center, including erecting a monument to welcome the arrival of believers to Kingston bay (despite his recent move to require international visitors to use Montego bay, on the other side of the island, to enter the country). When asked why he chose an artifact of war to become the center of this peaceful religion, Jahyang responded "This was not my decision, but His. We should all see it as a sign: He will change the ways of the human race."

Jahyang Announces Tax System, Official Cabinet

Jahyang, in a press conference earlier this week, announced that Jah has "great plans for our people." These plans apparently require great funding, and Jahyang has proposed a new tax plan. A bulk of the taxes will be placed on exported goods, including the cannabis industry, which Jahyang has strongly supported throughout his ministry. Income taxes will be placed only on the top 10% of income earners, with a higher bracket applying to the top 1%, although Jahyang has said that "all true believers should sacrifice earthly money for our greater cause." He recommends a tithe, or 10% of income, to be donated from all people.
Late last Sunday night, Jahyang reported a vision from Jah in which He told Jahyang to establish a "Cabinet of Specialties," filled with people to delegate certain powers to and to ask for advice through his rule. Jahyang has started with the five following cabinet members, although has said that the cabinet is "subject to expansion." As previously mentioned, these 5 members will live alongside Jahyang in Casarasta.

Election Recap

Last week, the Volksrat election threatened to turn the country on its head, and though things turned out not to change as much as they could, the state of the country has definitely taken an unexpected course. First, the Sozialistische Einheitsfront threw the right into a panic as they picked up 131 more seats, bringing their total to 178. The second-largest party in the Volksrat and only 4 seats behind the Konservative Partei, things were looking up for the socialists, who were the leading party in the new government coalition. However, the progressives of the Nationale Fortschrittspartei abandoned their alliance with the socialists to join the conservative coalition (though now it stands as more of an anti-socialist coalition), and with their 102 seats were able to bring the conservatives back to heading the government coalition. While the conservatives may have barely retained their position it is undeniable that the new pressure to cooperate with the progressives will significantly change the character of the government coalition. One such policy that is likely to change is their stance on the Tumboco Virus, with the progressives likely to push for greater measures to be taken. Meanwhile, the coalition now headed by the socialists is furious at the progressives for dashing their chances at forming a government. The Pangermanistische Partei has been particularly outspoken about the turn of events, calling for a "war on traitors". The socialists, of course, have also voiced their grievances with the progressives, though with one notable exception. Socialist chairman Joel Schmidt has urged his colleagues not to harbor any hatred towards anyone, regardless of recent events. The outbreak of the novel corona-virus, colloquially referred to as the "Tomboco" virus, is an issue that has its epicenter in the southern areas of the African content, but it has been a matter of increasingly grave concern for governments worldwide. Due to the lack of reliable information published by impartial sources, I am currently unable to determine when and how market participants will start taking the healthcare impasse into account when pricing assets. It is certain, however, that there will eventually be periods of high volatility, primarily in equity markets. This will be an impediment to alpha generation. The investment department of Shinra Asset Management, LLC has developed a momentum-based investment strategy, dubbed "Crisis Alpha", wherein a series of technical indicators, such as moving average, relative vigor index, money flow index or Bollinger Bands™, are employed and placed in a juxtaposition as part of the formation of an aggregate momentum index. Trades are then carried out by the agency of traders or HTF algorithms. This most likely will be enhanced by convertible arbitrage and other market-neutral strategies. The "Crisis Alpha" strategy will be employed in early June. The research department of Shinra Asset Management, LLC has also made a HK$50 million proprietary allocation that will enable the firm to hire field operatives to monitor the situations in Africa and Europe, which are expected to exacerbate the effect that the corona-virus outbreak will have on the sentiment of market participants and the outbreak itself.

Continued Terror Attacks By Pan-German Nationalists Prompt Banning of Pan-Germanist Parties and Organizations

The third bombing in the just over a year has recently shocked Bavaria as the Headquarters of the Passauer Post, a local paper, was bombed. Like the previous two bombings, the perpetrators were Pan-Germanists who, in this case, were upset about negative press that a Pan-Germanist rally had received from the newspaper. The incident revived sentiments from January after the last attack, though this time the talk was followed up by action. A decree proposed by the Reichskammer was approved and put into effect by his Highness the King, completely banning the Pangermanistische Partei for inspiring violence, insurrection, and treason among the people of Bisingen. The 3 seats in the Reichskammer and 76 seats in the Volksrat held by the Pan-Germanists are to be voided until each House's respective elections. Similar Pan-Germanist organizations have also been banned, however, there are few others that hold any sort of mainstream support. Many Pan-Germanists have, since the ban, coalesced around Pan-Germanist essayist Edgar Stahl who has committed himself to keeping Pan-Germanism in the mainstream through any means possible. Though he did not specify, it isn't a stretch to assume this includes violent or terroristic means. Members of the Sozialistische Einheitsfront have been outspoken in their opposition to these measures, due to the two parties' coalition, but socialist leader Joel Schmidt has, as per usual, urged caution and patience to his hotheaded 'comrades'. Though disagreements between socialist Chairman Schmidt and Deputy Chairman Feuerstein are common, Feuerstein's recent comments about Chairman Schmidt have transcended their usual squabbling as Feuerstein urged socialists to ignore any further direction given by Schmidt and accused the Chairman of being a "social fascist" by cooperating with other elements of the government. This rift among socialists could be good news for more rational parties by splitting the socialist vote. However, considering the next Volksrat election is still over 2 years off and the socialist candidates have never stood a chance in getting royal approval to participate in Reichskammer elections, it may be inconsequential either way.

Though we all regret the unfortunate fate which former 
Chairman Joel Schmidt faced, his expulsion was a necessary course
of action. Under his leadership, the national movement had
achieved much, yes, but at the cost of compromising on valuable
ideals. As the new helmsman of the socialist cause, a post which
I have accepted with utmost humility and gratitude, I will not
permit the ideology of the people to be infringed on any
further. I understand that many of you have reservations about
my leadership, and I hope that in time those reservations will be
put to rest, but the people cannot afford to be held back, even
by you.

Under my tenure as Chairman, there will be some significant
changes to the structure of our party and our movement; our
tactics will change as will our strategy. Throughout this all,
however, we will retain the highest order of dedication to our
people—the German people. This new way of thinking may be
foreign to some of you, but the quicker we embrace our German
identity and ally ourselves with the movement of Pan-Germanism
the sooner the German people will be free from capitalistic
oppression. Do not mistake what I say; none of these decisions are
being made for the purpose of political expedience, rather it is
an integral part of our new ideology. The liberation of the
German people must happen now. The past two years have been
productive beyond belief, but now we must move onto the next
stage. The time for agitation is over, now is the time for
revolution.

The party will see a drastic change of course in the coming months,
and it is for that reason that for the time being the United Front
National Committee is to be suspended indefinitely. You will be
notified of the reinstatement of the Committee if/when the
Committee is recommissioned. A separate announcement will be
delivered to other members of the party notifying them of the
nullification of the Committee, NO PART OF THIS DOCUMENT IS TO BE
SHARED OR MADE PUBLIC.
