The beginning of the late 2010 period would see a gradual decline to its economy, as well as political divisions rise between the nation's populace. These tensions were further exasperated by the onset of an economic depression within the EU, along with every other Western country in the early 2020s.

Mike Haze, the leader of the Puerto Coco Organization looks at the nation of Altis and Stratis as a future narco-state. The corrupt government, small army size and poor equipment makes it an easy target for the Organization to deploy on the island and take over. On this day, 19 PCO operators deployed in Altis, south of the village of Panochori and set up a camp outpost. The commander of the operation is Adrea Borodin, the best PCO operative and the most trusted man of Mike Haze.

Also part of its task force will be 6 Sandanski Class destroyers. A north desreknkovian Task force of 4 Sovremeny class destroyers and a brand new Kirov on its shakedown cruise will be present. The imperials will observe the situation. The plan is to see what the naval disturbance is all about.
