While Americae Roma is ideologically opposed to the islamic theocracy of Al Kumbilah, it has yet decided to intervene militarily but would maintain preparedness should a military option be needed, in addition, Americae Roma aircraft and naval vessels will conduct freedom of navigation patrols to protect international commerce and neutral shipping in the following bodies of water:

In addition to the significantly increased naval presence, Americae Roma also feels the need to boost it's military presence in the Pacific Island that the nation controls to serve as a a forward operating base should a military option be needed, 45,000 Americae Roma Imperial Ground Forces soldiers, as well as 35,000 Americae Roma Imperial Marines will be stationed on the Pacific Island to act as a quick reaction force should a ground assault has to be executed, in addition, 750 Air Force combat aircraft will be deployed on the various airbases of the pacific islands including bombardment squadrons of the B-47 Stratojet and B-52 stratofortress, land based combat aircraft will aid the naval task force in conduct freedom of navigation patrols.

This war of yours has a great potential to destabilize the overall current geopolitical situation. As such, they had poorly prepared their forces in the South China Sea. They were not expecting to be attacked from the direction of the South China Sea.

The Yamato fleet will prove its remarkable strength by capitulating the forces in Haikou Port. They have bombarded unsuspecting enemy ships on Port, and forces are landing in Haikou beginning their march to capture Sanya Port in order to perform a naval invasion on the coasts of Dai Viet. Our forces are ready to die for the Emperor.

Near Paracel Islands
The Atago fleet has encircled the Paracel Islands and ordered their conditional surrender to be able to return to their homeland. The Atago itself has fired a few blank shots to threaten the minuscule forces to surrender. If the conditions are not met by daylight, the Atago fleet will begin bombardment of the tiny islands to oblivion. Convoys of soldiers and workers are on the wait to land in the Islands, awaiting their orders to construct a Japanese port to set the stage for a Japanese naval invasion of Dai Viet coasts to support the other invasion force North.
