After months of brutal fighting, the Mokovi civil war has ground to a halt. The Trosrod Host, supported by Havalland, has managed to hold off the fascist Grey Legion and the National Bolshevik Mokovi People’s Republic. The ousted monarch of Mokov, Ivan XII z Mokova plots in Havalland to retake his throne. Throw the vast oil fields on the island, and a truly international crisis is in the making.

This is the OOC thread for the continuation and conclusion of my civil war. While the MPR is the given victor here, feel free to propose interesting ideas and get involved.

Could you maybe go into a bit more detail as to what happened?
Such as:

What caused the former monarch to be ousted? Why did their ousting cause a civil war with both fascists and National Bolsheviks showing up? Why does your nation also have oil like literally every other nation wanting to have a civil war?

Who are the Trosrod Host? Who do they serve and why have they aligned with Havalland?

(Also, even if we bring up the last thread, I do not think one-liners taking place weeks apart counts as having a multi-month long ongoing civil war)

Finally, who are the MPR and why do you think they will wind up winning the Civil War?

The Král was deposed by the National Bolsheviks, I had oil before the civil war, the Trosrod Host are anti communist Cossacks supported by Havalland, and the Fascists popped up following a coup against the original rebel government, which was in opposition to the monarchy. The MPR just stands for the Mokovi People’s Republic, which has the most land, resources, and soldiers, hence my pinning it to win.

Also the war took place in real time, hence my calling it months long

"I had oil before the civil war", do you mean this was passed through someone like Vanc or the SoRP or did you just say so and nobody responded? Because you ought to have a good reason for your nation to have oil other than you want to have an oil economy to make your country rich/relevant so people will come to your RPs. You need to put actual effort into this stuff before people get invested, otherwise all you'll get is spam with Havalland for a few months consisting of nothing but one-liners and a story that's spinning into the mud.

Is there anything else we should know, though? Like what the current fronts of the Civil War looks like, or who controls where exactly? How about who leads the sides in this?

I’m pretty hard pressed for the borders, since all of that data is stored on my currently non functioning laptop. As for the oil, I made it part of my economy whilst I was setting up Mokov. Oil or no oil, a violet conflict would disrupt trade, and with oil being a part of that trade, there’s an incentive to intervene. I do put effort into these things, what you perceive as lack of effort is in reality a lack of experience. How am I to gain experience except by making mistakes?

I mean, alot of people in the Isles have oil. Is there anything else that might give nations reason to intervene?

Not wanting belligerent fascists, violent communists, or pillaging raiders to take power and subsequently start going hog wild. Every side of my civil war is made up of very poor neighbors lol

How does the Trosrod host align politically?

Authoritarian democracy. Hetman is elected every six years, and rules with absolute power for that time.
