Political Report

Underwood victory announcement seems to have been premature.

There are errors in the results count reported by the Iowa Democratic Party for Monday's caucuses, multiple analysis shows. Will Underwood holds a slim lead over Ernie Handers in the Iowa caucuses with the Iowa Democratic Party announcing on Thursday night that 100% of precincts are reporting but that a recount will be necessary. The Handers campaign already announced that according to their own numbers, their candidate is leading by more than 10% and should be granted more delegates.
The former South Bend mayor leads the Vermont senator by one-tenth of one percentage point in the all-important state delegate equivalent count. Massachusetts Sen. Eleanor Hart, former Vice President Ben Harrison and Minnesota Sen. Erin Bates are trailing behind Underwood and Handers.

Handers finally claim victory in Iowa

"Democratic presidential candidate Ernie Handers joined Will Underwood on Thursday in claiming victory in the Iowa caucuses. Underwood declared himself the winner based on the number of delegates from the Midwestern state who will be sent to the Democratic convention in July. Handers staked his claim based on the popular vote.
Critics from inside and outside the Democratic Party regarding the calculation and publication of the caucus results forced the party leadership to take a stand for a recount of votes and delegates. Three days after the caucuses, the final results are yet to be released. Many doubts have been raised about their accuracy, not only among Handers supporters. Democratic Party chairman Bill Norman announced on Thursday a review from the caucuses, evoking technical problems due to the large amount of caucus participants.
With returns in from 97 percent of the 1,765 precincts in Iowa, Underwood was leading by 26.2 percent to Handers's 26.1 percent in the delegate totals. Massachusetts progressive Senator Eleanor Hart was next with 18.2 percent followed by former vice president Ben Harrison with 15.8 percent and Minnesota Senator Erin Bates with 12.2 percent.
Handers, speaking Thursday in nearby Manchester, New Hampshire, pointed to his lead in Iowa's actual vote totals. "In other words, some 6,000 more Iowans came out on caucus night to support our candidacy than the candidacy of anyone else," he said. "From where I come from, the person who gets the most votes wins," Handers said, arguing that the question was not to debate forever the number of total delegate for each candidate but how many supporters showed up to the caucus. At the end of the day, he said, the caucus system is "obsolete", pointing out that it was a mistake for the state party to "rely on untested technology."
On a more positive note, the Handers campaign announced, meanwhile, that it had raised $25 million in January, its largest fundraising month yet."

UCAFM support grows in Iowa state

Ernie Handers' powerful campaign in Iowa has led to the development of a support network for the Unified Command of Anti-Fascist Militias (UCAFM). Several secret meetings were held which made it possible to agree on the organization of political and military work.
Several priorities emerged during the discussions of UCAFM delegates and local activists.
First, the need to develop specific political work aimed specifically at minorities in Iowa. They are already receptive to the positions of the UCAFM but are reluctant to commit themselves if no effort is made in this direction.
Second, several prominent military installations are located in the state. The need to seize the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in the event of conflict appears to be a vital necessity. Here too, a significant effort must be made. Not only to prepare for a possible takeover by force in the event of war, but also to make sure to neutralize these installations, for want of being able to hold them.
Finally, controlling Iowa should make it possible to launch incursions into neighboring states where Hump’s supporters are certainly powerful but fragile. The neighboring states of South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota in particular welcome large reserves of natives which could constitute a force of reinforcement against a common enemy.

Hump's acquittal

The Senate's acquittal of Hump is not a surprise. The public positions of the Republican senators left little doubt as to the outcome of the matter. It is certain that a reverse vote would have precipitated things considerably. As such, it is not certain that the UCAFM could have opposed today an attack by the Christian and patriotic militias.
However, the effects of such a vote should neither be underestimated nor overestimated. The UCAFM won some support. But we are far from a tsunami or a breakthrough in the current state of things. It is certain that special attention must be paid to this question. It can help convince many moderates of the merits of our approach. Our activists must in this sense be tempted to accompany the progress of our allies and our friends towards our positions, towards the project which is ours.
But the parliamentary and political chaos in which the country finds itself must not focus too much our attention. The important thing remains the campaign to elect Handers and the constant strengthening of the positions and militant capacity of the UCAFM.

Finance Report

The first week of February was a highlight of the development of UCAFM. We have raised almost $1.778 billion thanks to generous donations from Transvonia, South Reinkaslistan, Zhouran, Massayiana, Carandia, Nordalend,Victores and Tigenia. Tigenia alone covers $ 1.5 billion.
A large part of this money went to the War Treasury after many discussions among members of the Revolutionary Standing Committee. Our militant infrastructure is currently unable to cope with such an influx of money. This would in particular risk drawing attention. Above all, it seems to us that it is more important to play the long term than to seek to provoke things when the situation is not yet ready.
The decision was made to invest part of these funds in several cover companies that will allow the UCAFM to develop and arm itself without arousing too much attention.

Military Report

Our general military situation remains very precarious. We encounter many difficulties in getting our militants the necessary equipment as well as the financial means that can allow them to dedicate themselves totally to the cause.
Our support among the natives has greatly increased. Nearly 2,100 men and women from different tribes and reservations have taken the pledge and joined our networks of militants. They should certainly be the vanguard that will allow us to receive significant support among these groups of population. We have also experienced a very large influx of foreign volunteers since nearly 25,000 valiant revolutionaries from several countries have agreed to join their efforts with ours, despite the risks involved.
The first significant support came from People's Federation of South Reinkalistan. Their commitment to support our cause against any attempt by our opponents to silence us allows us to consider that our march towards power cannot be stopped. The fact that such a powerful state decides to give us unconditional support a few days after our creation seems to us to be an auspicious sign.
The second main effort was provided by Massayiana. This country offered to welcome these foreign volunteers as well as contingents drawn from our ranks to train them in several military camps that they have made available to us. Such an opportunity was immediately accepted by the UCAFM. Our forces are sorely lacking in military training and military experience compared to our adversaries.
In total, around thirty battalions were trained to welcome these volunteers so that they could familiarize themselves with the military art. the creation of these units aroused great enthusiasm among our activists and supporters. But for the time being, the Revolutionary Standing Committee, awaiting clearer instructions from the Revolutionary Military Committee, believes that it is too early to start setting up units locally.
The equipment received was allocated to foreign volunteer units, with the exception of a few hundred individual weapons which have been distributed, particularly in the state of New Hampshire and in Iowa.

What is happening behind the curtain...

In order to confirm its progress in Iowa, the Revolutionary Standing Committee has decided to form, provisionally and subject to the agreement of the Revolutionary Military Committee, to form an Iowa Militia Command. This structure will have authority over the local UCAFM military infrastructure in the state of Iowa. It will have under its responsibility three headquarters battalions, respectively located at Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and Des Moines. These units will be responsible for training and equipping their own volunteers. Ad hoc support may be provided by the UCAFM if necessary. Discussions are underway around the creation of other units with local supporters (mainly the Knight of Labor Legion initiated by groups of union activists, the Linda Evans Women Battalion created by some supporters of the Feminist faction and the Potawatomi Battalion which is supposed to gather local natives militants and supporters).

After much deliberation, it has become evident to us that the Anti-Fascist militias of Nanban-Ha is an organization of comrades, comrades in need of the assistance of our August Organization.

For the sake of the unity of the left, the Central Committee resolves to render aid to the Anti-Fascists Militias of Nanban-Ha.

We are prepared to deliver large quantities of weapons, financial suppprt, and experienced personnel ready to aid the Anti-Fascist Militias of Nanban-Ha. However, due to concerns among the delegates of the Congress we must impose certain conditions for our aid. They are as follows:

1) Our experienced personnel are to be deployed with the intent to train and equip elite groups comprised of partisans from multiple factions which are to be operated in the name of unity for all leftist factions of AFM.
2) ISC personnel are to be kept from engaging other ISC personnel.
3) In the event that the Anti-Fascist forces of Nanban-Ha seize control of the nation, Nanban-Ha be prepared to accept ISC observers during the process of creating a socialist government. This is not to seize control of Nanban-Ha but rather to foment cooperation between leftist factions in the nation, and to prevent sectarian infighting.

Political Report

Handers' victory in New Hampshire only confirmed the progressive wave that is likely to hit Lusatinia in November. The fact that the Democratic Party establishment has tried to appear to be trying to correct its mistakes in the Iowa Caucus only makes this victory all the more meaningful. The threat posed by neo-liberal and pro-establishment candidates for the primaries should not be underestimated. The fact that more of these small candidates ultimately threw in the towel should not cause our activists to ease the pressure.
On the contrary, it is time to go on the offensive, again and even further. Double pressure must be applied.
First of all on the establishment of the democratic party and the Left in general. It is necessary to penetrate the militant apparatus of the party; to gain to our cause its elected officials, its supporters, everything they possess. We must isolate those who are not our allies, those who could become our enemies, those who already oppose us. In view of our current strengths, these efforts cannot take a brutal form and must not appear too coordinated. We must not arouse suspicion of the party apparatus. Press campaigns, public actions, public opinion dynamic should serve as the main line of action. The resignation of the Iowa Democratic Party chairman Tom Burton because of his handling of this year's Iowa caucuses can be used as a model of intervention to erase the moderate influence and let ours spread.
At the same time, certain figures of the party or of the left seems to be more and more favorable to us. We should not force them to make decisions that could be harmful to us, weaken their position in the party and in public too openly or force them to distance themselves from us. These personalities can not only help us strengthen our structures; they alone constitute axes of penetration within the electorate and the political apparatus of the democratic party.
Secondly, at the local level, we must now be able to distinguish among those of the local administrations which support us or ignore us from those which are potential adversaries or are already opposing our inevitable step forward toward revolution. A particular effort must be made not on the local administrations of important sizes, but on the low levels of all territorial and federal administrations which are in each state in the hands of weqk and corrupt politicians, easily malleable. In other words, we have to replace them with our people, now, in order to make any transition that will not fail to take place when we appear to seize power easy and without opposition.

Strengthen our structures to reinforce the struggle

The need to reform our coordination structures has become very evident in the past few days. During our General Assembly which will be held at the end of February, a new internal organization will be proposed to the delegates in order to avoid that decisions are only in the hands of the Standing Committee but also in order to fight against fractionism within our own organization. Delegates and representatives from each faction will be asked to probe their activists and supporters in order to forward suggestions to the Revolutionary Military Committee so that realistic plans could be proposed to delegates.
Structural reforms within the UCQFAM will not only affect the political apparatus but also our military apparatus. The influx of volunteers at the national level, among the communities of natives as well as abroad requires the establishment of both a body of competent officer capable of supervising these volunteers, in training as later at the front, but also from the outset to ensure the integration of these individuals and political communities within a military force capable of relying on a first-rate esprit de corps and an iron discipline. Therein lies our obligations.

Coalición de Fuerzas Revolucionarias de Mesoana, ally or competitor?

For the past few days, UCAFM has been in contact with the Coalición de Fuerzas Revolucionarias de Mesoana. A discussion must take place within our organization on the attitude that should be adopted in the long term regarding this structure, or any similar structure. The CFR made an important contribution that cannot be totally overlooked. At the same time, it offers us a double alliance that could accelerate our success but also cause our downfall.
Our political apparatus like our military forces are still relatively weak. It is not possible in the present state to honestly make such a commitment as that which the CFR requests from us. However, we can promise to support if we win. Such a proposal, if accepted by the CFR, would postpone more of a real choice on our part without denying the common perspecitves of our two organizations. It would allow the establishment of cooperation without ulterior motives, without bad faith, without the fear of betrayal which often weakened any alliance between weak political actors.
To our comrades in the CFR, we say: We will fight and die by your side when the time comes, once we have acquired the victory here. From then on, the revolutionary, anti-fascist and anti-capitalist force that is ours will be by your side until victory!

Supporting our natives brothers and sisters in Tovarya

The attention of UCAFM has been drawn to the repression suffered by members of the First Nations who oppose Tovarya economical development plans. Opposing the construction of a pipeline on their lands, they are the target of repeated attacks by oppressive state forces who do not hesitate to violate their rights and customs, to brutalize their people and their communities. The UCAFM cannot stand without doing anything.
Our organization wishes to support these natives as well as their supporters who are currently paralyzing the rail network of Tovarya through blockades, occupations and direct action.
The support that these First Nations can give us will be decisive in the future conflict. They have knowledge of the border territory with Lusatinia. They can play a leading role in getting volunteers and weapons to our isolated supporters, including when an open conflict begins. They can also offer political support to our cause, especially because of the audience they have among Lusatinia natives.
Delegates have been sent on mission to several of these First Nations to probe them for a possible alliance. Pending their response, which the UCAFM hopes will be positive, several of our activists will go there to give them our unconditional support in their fight. They will also try to get in touch with circles of supporters of the fight against the pipeline so that they can develop their own networks of supporters and informants.

Finance Report

The donations received by our organization during the second week of February are far from equaling the support of the previous week. The efforts made by our allies must not be underestimated, in particular by Solteka, which signs the largest contribution received between February 10 and 16, 2020. Military Report

The continuous support of our allies has allowed us to considerably develop our military apparatus. By the end of the month, every state in Lusatinia should start to see the first units formed in order to be trained. The first distributions of weaponry took place in particular in the Northeast region. An accurate report of our forces will be available at the end of this month.
More than 30,000 foreign volunteers have been sent by our allies to fight alongside us. Many of them have no military experience, but their determination and their will to win should without doubt make a difference on the battlefield. Unfortunately, we are having trouble getting equipment and training for these volunteers in good and acceptable conditions. The military installations put at our disposal by Massayiana are already saturated.
Proposals have been made to one of our most important supporters, Transvonia, regarding the possibility of providing training camps for our volunteers, national or foreign. • the Gertewitz officer school which can accommodate promotions of 500 officer cadets and 1,500 non-commissioned cadets. Supervision and training will be under the authority of the Transvonia armed forces.
• the Nonnreit school and training ground for special forces, which can train nearly 1,500 volunteers in special forces type missions, particularly in terms of infiltration, intelligence gathering and guerrilla warfare. Supervision and training will be under the authority of the Transvonia armed forces.
• the military camps of Lankersberg, Geisenbach, Petershausen, Pferrach, Halberstadt, Laubers, Finkenburg, Gorschendorf will be placed under the authority of the UCAFM. These camps have the necessary facilities, cantonments and depots to accommodate nearly 4,000 men each. Access will be protected by units of the Transvonia armed forces. They will also provide most of the logistical services. If the UCAFM deems it necessary, we can also make available to your organization advisers and staff to train your forces who will be stationed there.
• the military depots of Dittmern, Loderham, Rissing and Lustbronn which can each accommodate nearly 10,000 vehicles of all types, as well as repair workshops, assembly lines, depots of ammunition and various equipment.

In addition to these facilities, Transvonia undertakes to provide you with warehouses, depots and barracks in the naval bases of Neusand and Eubenberg, at the Georgendorf Mountain Combat Training Center where training sessions may also be offered for your fighters, the military airports of Wahdorf, Wackersberg and Wrohe, the military hospitals of Kleef, Sierscheid and Wulfhoop as well as the Lehm shipyard.
