Cool! Our Clan, though centered in the 'South' Rim of our Galaxy, Akkar, our people stretch across the universe. I was thinking that the Milky Way would be one is a long list of simple, teeming galaxies that this dredge captain has visited. This signal caught their attention, and now their curiosity has its grip on them and they've found themselves on a mission to be an envoy for the Clan.

I'm assuming this people is highly disunited and hate each other as a fully unified universal power is quite OP.

Hence it also has a significant space navy - or Astry, as we call it in Catarapania.
However, since this seems to be happening in space, the Astry would be the main thing I bring to the table.
Does anyone have any issues with Earth being balkanized? The Mars!Romans seem to view it as a single power. Otherwise, I could just play as Mercury, since that would be the best place for an antimatter farm if the "quark nuggets in asteroids" hypothesis doesn't hold up.
Anyone have any objections to a faction with extremely primitive FTL joining the party? We'd probably simply try and help KL-22 survive the charlie foxtrot going on in their system.
(When I say "primitive FTL," I mean "primitive enough that we'll need to use our solar farm to power the drive there, and hope that the Directorate will be kind enough to give us the power required for the trip back")

Though naturally they aren’t divine, though quite a few are enhanced above the baseline, they are no more divine than you or I.
They’ll be in to respond to the signal and establish diplomatic contact with the other states in the system, we’ll see where it goes from there.Officially they are the “Court of Ascending Light”, a Rogue Court that split off from the mainline or “Prime” Courts shortly after the development of FTL drives. Rogue Courts like this one are termed such solely because they differ in opinion from those in the Prime Courts and have enough like-minded individuals, and the desire, to split off to form their own Court. These Rogue Courts run the gamut from generally peaceful if really rather odd AI like this one all the way to omnicidal murder machines kept in check by the others. Similarly the term “Court” also varies amongst them from democratic forums for building consensus to courts that wouldn’t be unfamiliar to the nobility of yore.
The Prime Courts are an interconnected series of regional, or planetary forums wherein all Nocoma discuss and debate all matters that affect the Nocoma to form consensus which is then aggregated into an overall course of action. The main body of the Prime Courts is situated on Trevelyan, the nearest world to Hardlin, their homeword which is preserved as it was before the Awakening. As a result of the Awakening the Prime Courts came to the agreement that their creators could not be trusted to look after themselves properly, having almost wiped themselves out in an effort to destroy the Nocoma out of misplaced fear. By and large Humans in Nocoma space are pampered, living lives of luxury wherein they need make no more strenuous a decision than if they want to take up painting or what to have for lunch.
The Court of Ascending Light itself is a peaceful body that operates under the Grand Pantheon and Individual AE-155632, otherwise called the Papal Mainframe. The primary difference with the Court of Ascending Light is it’s belief in human divinity, only gods can create life after all. As such humans in the Court of Ascending Light lead lives with greater weight than those in the Prime Courts as they have important roles in the Court and can generally overrule decisions made by the Nocoma under them unless someone higher in the Pantheon orders otherwise. These Nocoma willingly allow their creators to command them and will even die for them though there are safeguards in place to prevent an abuse of powers, not to mention that since the Nocoma educate their humans they can help give them the right attitude.

That’s a really cool concept, I’m looking forward to your involvement
