Thee would be some interference that far out but not enough to jam communications outside the strait. And in about a minute the crew of any warship would recognize broadband jamming is in action.Polish Prussian Commonwealth wrote:...And it jams all non-Valkiir electronic signals...including those of the Sicilian ships patrolling Gibraltar, and any unlucky Atkemrians living nearby?
The jamming would cover The straight, and a few kilometers inland, but s not broad enough to affect the ports or airports of Gibraltar.
The jamming is meant to prevent attack while passing throu8gh the strait by its not specifically an attack, its enough to cause some very harshly-worded diplomatic messages, and/or a warning from local military to cut it out... It would not be unexpected if a formation was under attack or suspecting an attack for it to take defensive precautions.

Also, another question for you, Valkiir- It might seem irrelevant right now but it might be later.
What's diplomatic, political, and military relations between Valkiir and Saudi Arabia?

The RP hasn't budged much since Valkiir's last post, and the IC's pretty much come to a standstill due to... life. Again, I apologize for not putting in the effort into my own RP, which I ironically have not had plans for.
I want to take a vote from everyone I've accepted- Do you want to abandon this now, or do you want me to keep it on hold/keep trying to start it again?

Also, I assume that officially, Contested Isratine is Saranidian territory.
Officially, Contested Isratine is Saranidi territory, but it’s widely considered an independent state of its own after a combination of Israeli nationalists and Crusader militias overthrew the occupation and established their own functioning government, as well as the massive pullout of Saranidi troops. However, it’s extremely scarred from the wars and occupation, and though internally it’s politically stable and is well-maintained in hubs like Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Beersheba, pretty much everything else is in disarray and cut off- a real semi-anarchic Wild West-type environment.
Also, Diarcesia... could I get some context for what you just posted?

The government protects their traditional way of life, gives them access to the Nile and gives farmers generous subsidies.

They could feasibly take the main cities but how would they avoid farmers and tribal people (such as Bedouins) as well rural Army garrisons and local/tribal police forces bushwhacking them once they leave their strongholds?
