Postby Societa-Livone Bonne » Mon Nov 11, 2019 12:10 pm

ELECTION RESULTS
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=475021

Election Day(s) has arrived please cast your ballot and hand it to the elections officer.

As a recap these are the four parties' platforms

Front du Popular Nationale
The Front du Popular Nationale more widely known as Du Front, is a conservative-leaning organization. The support strong defence policies, free-market lassiez-faires, and a strong family unit.

They have been known to grudgingly accept abortion, and they take a status-quo on same-sex marriage

Under their government, we would see a fiscally responsible government. That likes to keep things the way they currently are.

Leader: Robert Protien

Nouveau Protegé
Nouveau Protégé is Societa-Livonne Bonne's young millennial oriented party. The focus on affordable housing and helping the middle class. Protégé directs advertising on Millenials by utilizing social media and creating mainstream short videos describing their values.

Protégé is seen as a social Democratic party. The advocate for marriage equality, diversity, and gender equality.

Under their government, we would see a socially progressive nation, less oriented to the development of one's economy but the people contributing to the economy.

Leader: Réclain Bouchard

Democratika Actione!
The DA is a secular right-wing party. The are socially conservative and fiscally conservative. They apeal to upper class citizens promising a flat tax and a 5% Corporate Tax.

They are Pro- Enterprise loaning big grants to startups. They are Pro-Life but will allow abortions if the mother's life is at risk or if two doctors approve. They promised to not pass any anti-LGBTQ legislation but vow to not legalize gay marriage.

They fully support free speech; that includes hate speech, " Free speech is free speech; we can't deny hate speech."

Leader: Owèn Halboné

Liberte
Liberte is the Liberal Big Tent party. They want a mixed economy and a big welfare net. They wish to achieve a carbon neutral country by 2030.

They support state-healthcare and early retirement.\
They are socially liberal and support Pro-Choice and the LGBTQ Community

Under their government, we would see a Carbon tax that goes to funding the healthcare sector and a progressive country

Leader: Jean Gouçon

The UIS has been observing the elections going on in Societa-Livone Bonne and wishes well to it's population as they pick their next leader. Her Majesty, Duchess Villa would like to issue her show of support for the candidate Nouveau Protegé, liking much of her platform as well as seeing another woman in Government.

Press Release from Nouveau Protégé

I hope we can work towards a better future together! My party is optimistic about what will happen in the election and diplomatically with the UIS.

Although their efforts for a strong defense may make it a little harder for us to invade when the time comes, we will go with Front du Popular Nationale. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," and they seem the least likely to mess things up just for the sake of "making changes."

The New Quebec State declares a Non Expedit for the Societa-Livone Bonne election. All it's faithful are to abstain from voting or face excommunication from the Church.

Societa-Livone Bonne Election

Postby Societa-Livone Bonne » Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:51 pm

POLL UPDATE: NOUVEAU PROTÉGÉ HOLDS ONTO POPULAR VOTE LEAD

Earlier today Protégé and the DA were neck and neck in the popular vote. With polls closing on Day 2 of the of the election, final votes delivered good news to the progressives, they were still ahead. With regional representatives yet to be elected, the popular vote is the only measurement to predicting who will win this decisive election.

Day 2 of the election is coming to a close. Polls in Livonian and Bonnish cities have reported a surge in Popular Nationale.

Progressives in urban areas know that the only chance of winning the election would be by the popular vote in the cities, as the conservatives would pick up the FPTP rural seats.

While Protégé and the DA are at each other's throats. Liberte has yet to lead, disappointing state-run polls as well as the progressive stronghold of Livbon.

The current results stand at

Front du Popular Nationale 24%

Nouveau Protégé 32%

Democratika Actioné! 27%

Liberte 17%

The Federal Council has 300 seats directly elected by the popular vote (over the 5% threshold). But it has 204 seats that are elected by different rules

At this translation we could see:

Front du Popular Nationale ~ 72 seats

Nouveau Protégé ~ 96 seats

Democratika Actioné ~ 81 seats

Liberte ~ 51 seats

The Alpes a Septentrionali Imperium will endorse the Front du Popular Nationale and wish them luck in the progressing election.
Note: Many factbooks are in a constant state of WIP or being considered for entire rework or deletion

Welcome to The Alpes a Septentrionali Imperium, a nation where I brutalize and adapt Latin and French History to my needs to get my Ultraroyalist Absolutist French Monarchy with a vaguely French-sounding fictional royal family to work.

Don't ask about the flag, it has something to do with RMB RP that I'm involved with.
