Rebels invade Kurdistan (MT-Open)

Postby Khataiy » Sat Oct 19, 2019 1:12 pm

Turkey's President has announced that Northern Syria will be invaded and Syrian rebels loyal to Turkey will join in on the advance to reclaim land occupied by mainly Kurdish militias like YPG and some Arab rebels allied with them backed by Khataiy to counter-balance Kurdish dominance putting Khataiy in a tricky spot as it backs both sides, and rebels in the East broke away from the "SDF" alliance with Khataiyi support bringing the Free Syrian Army back to Deir ez Zor and al-Raqqa.

Khataiyi backed rebels in Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor have announced they will join in on the FSA's war against YPG Kurds because YPG betrayed Arab tribes and locals in eastern Syria. Khataiyi advisors and peace keepers in the area have withdrawn from fronts with the Kurds to allow an opening into Rojava and now a southern front has been opened against the Kurds.

Despite being at odds Khataiy stands with Turkey against the YPG and will be supporting FSA units involved in the offensive.

President Khairallah has said,

"The Kurdish Atheists occupying the East (eastern Syria) are an occupation force, and an extension of the Iranian Zoroastrian-Alawite regime of Bashar, if God wills it all of the Arab people in the Levant will liberate their lands from Manbij to Hasakah and the deserts liberating Syria's land and preserving its pride and dignity. The Arab State of Khataiy supports the revolutionaries in the East, the guardians of the Euphrates that were abused by the Atheist Kurds and taken advantage of."

Hindustani forces had, for a long time been in the Syrian Civil War, assisting Syria and the Assad government in fighting the rebels. Now that the YPG had requested assistance from Syria, as well as Hindustan’s long standing opposition to Syrian rebel forces, the Hindustani forces within Syria had mobilized against the Khataiy backed rebels invading Kurdistan.

Identic note to the Governments of the Republic of Turkey, the Arab State of Khataiy, the Syrian National Coalition & the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (Rojava) regarding the deterioration of the strategic situation in northern Syria, and emergent infighting amongst anti-Assadist forces.

To whomever it may concern,

Her Majesty's Government has been keenly observant and particularly involved in the situation in Syria. It is important to us, being particularly invested in the maintenance and reinforcement of the international legal order, that justice can be done against the Ba'athist regime in Damascus. The liberalisation and democratisation of Syria, and the protection of the rights and freedoms of the Kurdish minority in northern and eastern Syria are significant to the continuing regional stability of the Middle East. The United Kingdom has keenly worked with regional partners including the State of Israel, the Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman in keeping keen observation of the situation and providing limited support to groups acting against the Assadist regime.

Her Majesty's Government is engaged in considerations as to how the United Kingdom can intensify and increase its involvement in light of the need for further stabilisation and further resources in order to ensure a transition to democracy in Syria, the protection of minorities, and the insurance of civil liberties. Military options are being included in those considerations.

Pursuant to the interests of sustaining the international legal order (with regards to international accords on chemical weaponry) and sustaining human rights, stability and security in the Levant, Her Majesty's Government urges firmly all parties to desist from attacking each other. Such distractions from the real enemies of peace and justice demean our efforts and damage the trust that exists between Western and Middle Eastern partners.

Turkish and Khataiyi forces are firmly urged to desist from further attacks against the Kurds. Kurdish forces are firmly urged to restore cooperation agreements with Syrian opposition forces. These ongoing conflicts are a distraction from our shared primary strategic interests, and the United Kingdom has little desire to be drawn into the conflict directly, at risk of disrupting our friendships with other involved states. As the American statesman Abraham Lincoln once said - a house divided against itself cannot stand. Let us not be divided.

Yours sincerely,

Deir ez-Zor

Image

As soon as word got out from the general command of the The Euphrates Liberation Army composed of former Arab SDF units like the "Deir ez-Zor Military Council" that received Khataiyi support to break away and reclaim Eastern Syria for the opposition a large gathering was assembled for a video statement to announce the beginning of "Operation Dawn of Dignity",

"In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful,

We are the proud sons of Deir ez-Zor and the Eastern Region, we are the Euphrates Liberation Army, we affirm our allegiance to the Syrian revolution, and reject separatist, imperialism, and the plot against our people. We call for total unity among all of the honorable tribes of this region led by the wise and honorable Sheikhs, we call upon all the youth from all the tribes to join the Liberation Army and carry the banner of our pride and dignity. The PKK project to invade Arab lands has been realized, and upon its realization and discovery we erupted as volcanoes and reclaimed our blessed land.

We will reclaim the territory occupied in the north, we vow just as our blessed Deir ez-Zor is liberated from Assad and the PKK we will liberate all of Raqqa, Hasakah and Aleppo, we vow to re-enter Aleppo, we vow to liberate Hama then Damascus.

God is our witness and God is the greatest!"

Antakya, Khataiy

Image

President Khairallah was expected to speak further on the new offensive as Khataiyi troops were in Deir ez Zor and Raqqa to protect the Euphrates Liberation Army from YPG retaliation for defecting back to the FSA and to prevent Iranian or Assad's forces from entering the liberated east under a deal with President Trump to withdraw US troops from Syria, President Khairallah vowed to defend the areas instead under an Arab-league mission with Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait, and now it was time to unleash the Free Syrian Army to reclaim their land.

President Khairallah walked up to the podium and began to speak,

"I will make this clear, very clear, this is a Syrian decision by the Syrian people it is not our place to tell our brothers whether or not to attack Kurdish militia groups occupying their cities and homes, we opposed all Kurdish led operations in Arab land as it was obvious it would create issues, and the moment the Arabs rose in Eastern Syria we stood by them and vowed to defend them from their enemies, and now they have taken the initiative to extend the liberation efforts beyond pockets in Raqqa and Deir ez Zor to the entirety of the east, this is their right.

Our forces in Syria are protectors of their brothers, we are not their masters nor their slaves, we are their equals, the advance on the northern border sectors will go on, and we will not stop the revolutionaries from retaking cities that have been lost since 2013. The PKK is not a Syrian faction they are an extension of Bashar who is an extension of Iran.

We reject the Turkish military entering the eastern regions or any region of Syria, this is a Syrian Arab issue, the Turkish are manipulating the conflict just as the PKK and Iranians manipulated the conflict and Syria's honorable people, it is only suitable for the Arab states to intervene and take a role in this conflict, it is our view it is obligatory for all honorable and just Arab nations to support their Syrian brothers in the conquest against the Kurdish Atheists that wish to divide the Syrian Arab land and open it to the Iranian Safavids.

All foreign forces must evacuate from Syria, and allow for the Syrian people to claim their victory, and for the Arab nations to guide them and rebuild their nation to the greatness that it is. If our forces come under fire we will respond fiercely and harshly, so I say rejoice oh Free men of the Levant! Rejoice! Rejoice at your victory and your accomplishments and never let your banner fall for its stars are stained red with the blood of the martyrs!"

Identic note to the Governments of the Arab State of Khataiy & the Euphrates Liberation Army regarding the continuing offensives in eastern Syria.

To whomever it may concern,

In the strongest possible terms, Her Majesty's Government must make clear to you both that any attempt to remove Kurdish or Assyrian civilians from their territory or property, incur upon their political or civil liberties, or otherwise attempt to do harm against the civilian populations of that region Kurdish, Assyrian, Arab or otherwise will be considered a provocation against the international legal order such that the United Kingdom will be induced to involve itself in the regional conflict. We share your desire to see the Syrian opposition triumph against the Assadist regime, and it is our sincere desire to see a free Syria emerge from this conflict. Provided that we can ensure the safety of the Syrian Kurds and Assyrians in the north-east from the Turkish incursions across the northern border, their strategic needs will no longer require their disheartening accommodation with the Assadist regime, and a sense of normalcy can be returned to the anti-Assad coalition.

Her Majesty's Government observes this situation keenly, and will consider closely the decision it will have to take in order to ensure the optimal outcomes for the Syrian, Kurdish and Assyrian peoples, and the general safety, stability and security of the Middle East, with whom we still share so many substantial ties.

We hope that dialogues may begin between both the Arab State of Khataiy and the Euphrates Liberation Army and our Special Legation for Syria such that any undue hostility may be avoided, and we can refocus our efforts on the liberation of Syria.

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

We address the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, it is not our goal nor intention to oppress anyone, rather we stand as an ally of the Syrian revolution and Syria's people. We have supported various revolutionary factions and formations and call upon every faction in Syria to join forces against the regime of Bashar. We remind the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the factions of Deir ez-Zor are from the locality and are from the region's strong tribal presence we also remind the Office, that many of the units and formations involved in the operation from Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa, as well as to an extent exiles from this region on the western front bear the flag of the Syrian opposition, and we also in particular emphasize that the formations currently active in Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa are formerly affiliated with the so-called "Syrian Democratic Forces" militia also known as "SDF, QSD, and HSD" and have consciously and unanimously renounced their affiliation with the YPG militia which has on many occasions wronged these parties and these parties desire nothing more than the liberation of their land on their terms.

It is not our decision what the opposition forces do, as they represent Syria and its people, currently our forces stationed in the northern and eastern regions acting as peace keepers and advisors maintain a state of neutrality and will only respond to acts of aggression to safeguard the areas under the control of Syria's people and not the regime.

Response to the Khataiyi assurance from Minister Uthman al-Ghadami regarding Khataiyi operations in eastern Syria.

Dear Minister al-Ghadami,

Her Majesty's Government welcomes the assurances given to it by the Government of the Arab State of Khataiy that no offensive action will be taken in the region in question, and is warmed by their stated intentions to act in the defence of the Syrian people against the Ba'athist regime. I personally would like to apologise if there was any feeling that Khataiy was unduly singled out by the broad diplomatic notes issued prior to this point, as the unfolding situation was chaotic, and Her Majesty's Government wished with urgency to prevent any disturbing issues to arise from that chaos - the sheer number of parties involved in this region creates an uncomfortable entanglement between factions and alliances that is - at times - thoroughly frustrating to navigate.

Cognisant of the fact that Khataiyi forces are engaged in peacekeeping operations in that region, which places them in a substantial position to help prevent clashes between the Syrian opposition and the Kurdish autonomous regions, Her Majesty's Government would be interested in cooperating with the Khataiyi forces to help sustain that preventative peacekeeping effort, and to make new investments into the defeat of the Assadist regime. Whilst the deployment of British troops at this time would be logistically difficult without the direct support of Khataiyi, and we are not yet at that stage of consideration, we would be prepared to deploy naval and air assets to help blockade the Syrian coastline and create a no fly zone over Syria - that no fly zone would, of course, be positioned against Syria and other regional malactors, and would not restrict the operations of the peacekeeping force. This would, we believe, provide the Syrian opposition, the Kurds, the Assyrians, and your peacekeepers with improved coverage against the Syrian Air Force, and the danger of the deployment of chemical weapons - a tactic that the Ba'athist regime has now repeatedly deployed.

Provided you would be interested in military cooperation in Syria, I would urge you to get into contact with my colleague, Penny Mordaunt, the Secretary of State for Defence, for further details.

Yours sincerely,

Idlib, Syria

The FSA in western Syria organized underneath the National Front for Liberation backed by Khataiy based in Idlib bordering Khataiy enjoyed extensive Khataiyi support and free access into Khataiy turning Rayhaniya in Khataiy into a de facto headquarters for the National Front for Liberation, in Khataiy they revived fresh arms and training as well as medical attention and they two would be heading towards the east to participate in the Turkish-led offensive under the banner of the Free Syrian Army despite odds between Khataiy and Turkey over who holds more influence over the opposition this was a tactically important military operation for both sides and a common enemy, the NFL officially adopted the operation name "Operation Dawn of Dignity" as well along with the Khataiyi-supported Euphrates Liberation Army made up of FSA-aligned ex-SDF members rather than using the Turkish name "Operation Peace Spring"

Deir ez Zor, Syria

Image

Already the Euphrates Liberation Army took to the deserts setting up rockets and artillery to shell known YPG positions many of the fighters knew how YPG functioned and operated, as well as their hideouts and would use this intel to their advantage given many of them were in SDF for years with YPG until receiving enough backing to become independent as many never fully trusted Kurdish dominance in SDF. A lot of modern American equipment as also inherited as it was captured from YPG and Khataiyi arms would make their way east along with recruits formerly exiled from eastern Syria brought in by Khataiyi intelligence and aid to join the fight.

Khataiyi troops stood by not caring or even congratulating the offensive, on social media soldiers from Khataiy and FSA fighters took photos together and filmed the firing of rockets at YPG. Other Khataiyi soldiers were scene firing celebratory gunfire alongside local tribesmen and FSA fighters.

Antakya, Khataiy

The response from the UK was tempting however President Khairallah had principles, and allowing a western military power to enter this scene would make him look weak and like a compromise rather than the Arab nationalist hero he is, after previously saying only Arab nations should have a military presence in Syria, however at the same time this could be beneficial, Khairallah and his advisors conversed and came to publish a response,

Urgent note to the Euphrates Liberation Army, and all affiliated military and paramilitary forces.

To whomever it may concern,

In light of previous warnings and aforementioned stated position of Her Majesty's Government regarding the unfolding Syria crisis, the United Kingdom states forthwith that it is expected of the ELA and its affiliated military and paramilitary forces to cease offensive operations against the YPG Kurdish forces within the next 24 hours, or an active role will be taken by Her Majesty's Government and the British Armed Forces to maintain a functional peace between anti-Assadist forces by any means necessary. You are urged, in the strongest possible terms, to turn your focus back onto the defeat of the Assadist regime, and to end any further attempt to cannibalise the opposition coalition in this manner.

This is not a negotiable position.

Yours sincerely,

Response to the Khataiyi invitation from Minister Uthman al-Ghadami regarding our respective nations' roles in the Syrian crisis.

Dear Minister al-Ghadami,

Her Majesty's Government welcomes discussions as to how we can best address the Syria crisis, and welcomes the localised expertise of the Government of the Arab State of Khataiy in accommodating this. We would urge rapid discussions in this matter, however, as events are unfolding rapidly and it appears the ability to maintain the peace in eastern Syria is becoming increasingly difficult. Any way that our two nations can ensure that the peace is restored amongst the opposition coalition would be opportune, and we would be grateful to get started promptly.

As a consequence of rapidly unfolding event, Her Majesty's Government wishes to make aware the Government of the Arab State of Khataiy that a naval taskforce is being dispatched towards the eastern Mediterranean to support any potential operations, and aircraft are to begin operating surveillance operations. Combat operations, however, are not yet to be activated, however contingency plans are being drawn up for that eventuality. We do not intend to violate Khataiyi airspace or territorial waters in this event, though if it becomes necessary on account of distress or navigational error, we will inform you as soon as is practicable.

Her Majesty's Government has taken the position that a lasting and material peace in Syria must be established, with Arab, Kurdish and Assyrian citizens all protected, and the Assadist Ba'athist regime ended and trusts Khataiy as an international partner to help accommodate this in line with previous assurances. Let us hope we can develop a feasible strategy to resolve this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Penny Mordaunt MP
Secretary of State for Defence

RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire, England

RAF Sentinel R1 reconnaissance aircraft connected to the RAF's 1 Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Wing launch from their home base for long haul flights towards the Middle East. Their intention is to corroborate satellite imagery, so as to give the United Kingdom and any nations cooperating with it in Syrian operations a clear and developed view of the situation on the ground, and the most up to date information available. These flights would, unless they were for any reason halted, continue throughout British involvement in Syrian operations.

Image

HMNB Devonport, Plymouth, England

Arranged quickly on an ad hoc basis, the naval taskforce for Syrian operations was composed of a number of British vessels. Whilst the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth had not completed sea trials, they could at least deploy the amphibious assault craft HMS Albion, accompanied by the Type 45 frigate HMS Dauntless, the Type 23 Frigates HMS Westminster and HMS Richmond, and the attack submarine HMS Ambush. It wasn't a grand force like that assembled to send to the Falklands in 1982, but it was substantial enough to establish a noteworthy military presence in Syrian waters, and dissuade the actions of other navies.

(Didn't put a picture of the ships because I can't find one at the right size to not be obnoxious.)

"Death to Assadite Scum", repeats Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Free Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs repeats, once again, its opposition to the bloodthirsty reign of the loathsome fascist dictator Bashar Assad, who has under the guise of supposed "reformism" and "secularism" repeatedly oppressed various peoples of Syria, and moreover, supported a range of terrorist movements both at home in abroad. It has not escaped our gaze that the loathsome fascist dictator Bashar Assad had deliberately pardoned islamist 'rebels' while leaving democracy supporters imprisoned, and otherwise deliberately focused his military effort such as to not completely destroy various Islamist groups, for the purpose of posing to both his people and foreign powers the false dichotomy of "Assad versus Radical Islam".

Despite our condemnation of the loathsome fascist dictator Bashar Assad (who is unworthy to lick the boots of loathsome fascist dictator Saddam Hussein, which is saying a lot), we must however stress that there is no meaningful way in the present juncture where a military intervention from the Free Kingdom would resolve the situation in any meaningful way. We will therefore not participate in this benighted conflict.

Particularly we will not participate in it on behalf of the Kurdish YPG movement. While the Kurdish struggle for independence is noble, at present its goals cannot be meaningfully achieved without a prolonged, violent war against all states with a substantial Kurdish minority in the region (who would all view it as a threat to their territorial integrity). Even if we did not oppose Rojava Communism (which, of course, we do), we would still call upon the Kurd comrades to not engage in a struggle that is likely to get them, and their families, brutally killed either by Turkish revanchists or by the pustulent excuse for a human being, the loathsome fascist dictator, Bashar Assad, and his death squads.

On the other hand, we wish to remind all parties that the Free Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Refugee Resettlement Program remains operational. We invite Kurds, Alawites, Sunnis, Shia, and Christians alike to take refuge in the Free Kingdom of Allanea.

Our doors remain open to those who seek the liberty and prosperity offered by the Allanean way of life.

Our lamp is lifted.

May God continue to Bless Allanea.

The Hindustani Army’s briefings were given to the soldiers on the field, who would be assisting Syrian forces, and, by extension the YPG. The YPG’s alliance with the Assad government proved to be complicated, but Hindustani forces would attempt to deter any Khataiyi positions. However, they would not engage with Turkish forces, as such an altercation would endanger diplomatic relations between Hindustan and Turkey, which, at the time, are friendly.

A few scouting divisions consisting of fast moving humvees left the Hindustani Army’s main base of operations near Damascus, however, they would cross through SDF controlled territory before scouting out FSA land near the Khatayi border. A few divisions totaling about 7,000 soldiers were already present in the SDF, who would soon be reinforced by a 10,000 strong division arriving from the outskirts of Damascus.

The forces already in SDF territory would attempt to use the intelligence gathered by the scouting divisions to map out possible FSA forces near the Turkish advancement, and would run shelling campaigns against the forces if discovered.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs sent a message to Khataiy

Regent Rex Kingswood and His Majesty, King Emmett IV, met with Lord Vickers- considered the Griffanese Army's best General- and his staff to discuss possible military intervention. Foreign Minister Cees Balderdash, speaking on behalf of Generalissimo Kingswood, declared on national radio:

The actions of Turkey against the Kurdish peoples are despicable, and the entire Empire condemns them- and yet, we cannot support the incumbent Assadist regime in the slightest. Both groups have repeatedly shown their willingness to trample on civil liberties, and this conflict highlights a need for change in both countries.

The Griffanese Atlantic Fleet was put on high alert on Saturday, cancelling planned maneuvers in the North Sea and returning to port in Antwerp. Four Boeing YB-17 bombers were dispatched to airfields in southern Griffany; if routed through friendly Balkan airfields, these planes could hit Istanbul. Colonial troops in The Smithers Eastlands- including the legendary "Buddhist Lancers" infantry regiment- have been ordered to coastal installations to wait for further instruction.

The Griffanese have issued no statements on which faction they wish to support.

Liberated Deir ez Zor

In the regions of Deir ez Zor formerly held by SDF and now underneath the control of ex-SDF factions backed by Khataiy and tribal allies large protests erupted calling for Hindustani and Iran to leave Syria and for SDF to dissolve, with chants like "No Hindus, No Assad, No Iran!" others chanted "Dogs of Iran leave!", "Syria is Arab!" Khataiyi soldiers in Deiri cities cheered on the locals revolting some even chanting the slogans themselves while smoking cigarettes on brake and celebratory gunfire was heard all around, protestors were filmed yelling "Our Syria is our land!". The flag of Hindustan and Iran were burned as well as portraits of Khamenei and Bashar al-Assad, and the leader of Hindustan.

The spokesman of the ELA told journalists on the ground from the front lines with the Kurds, "No, there are no Khataiyi soldiers in our area, they provide security to make sure no one attacks our blessed Deir." Another journalist asked for thoughts on the protests to which he replied, "God bless them the people have spoken and we want war, the PKK entered our land and they didn't want to give it back, many of us shed our blood with them and this is how they repaid us by oppressing our people we expelled them from Deir and we will expel them from every inch of Syria's soil, then we will march on Damascus."

The Hindustani military has no business in Syria or in any Arab nation, supporting those who have shed the blood of the Syrian people, we demand Hindustani forces withdraw as we will not guarantee their security, it is our view they have no rights or place to make demands of our nation or upon Syria's people, and they are aggressors and enemies of the Arab nation as a whole. Our forces have no role in the operation initiated against the PKK militias and we reiterate our stance, that this is the decision of the Syrian people on the track of their revolution for self-determination and independence.

The military of the Arab State of Khataiy will not withdraw from Deir ez-Zor or any eastern sectors liberated by Syria's revolutionary formations and we will defend them from all acts of aggression.

10 Downing Street, Westminster, England

The Prime Minister made a statement today from 10 Downing Street, announcing that British involvement in Syria would intensify after years of stalemate. With the obvious deterioration of the situation on the ground, Her Majesty's Government felt it was of paramount importance not to allow the Assadist regime to exploit the ongoing situation. Syria's use of chemical weapons had not been forgotten by the British Government, and the determination to see the regime brought to justice was such that the infighting amongst opposition groups was too much of an issue to overlook. For now, the UK would refrain from a commitment to ground forces, but a no-fly zone would be enforced over the entire delineated territory of Syria.

The Prime Minister was keen to emphasise that - at this stage - the United Kingdom was not at war, and was still undertaking defence and regional stability measures. But it was obvious that full-blown conflict was coming relentlessly closer, and to some observers, may be considered inevitable.

RAF Akrotiri,

Britain's unsinkable aircraft carrier, the sovereign base areas on Cyprus, made for the most suitable staging ground for launching aircraft into Syrian airspace, and several squadrons of Typhoon and Tornado fighters were deployed into the air. This would, they hoped, be enough to dissuade the older Syrian aircraft from taking off and challenging them, but they were consciously aware that casualties were almost certainly inevitable - not necessarily from dogfighting, but from surface-to-air missiles. Again, they were holding off from committing all the way. No bombings. No strikes. Just trying to keep the Syrian Air Force on the ground - or any other airforce which sought to aid the Assadist regime. But it was as much a warning to the Arab opposition as it was to the regime - the UK was involved now, and it has its finger on the trigger.

Overnight, a small Griffanese Navy task force arrived in waters near Cyprus; three PBY Catalinas mounted a dawn raid on the town of Adana, attacking a railway yard. In a press release, King Emmett IV issued a statement:

"We demand the immediate withdrawal of Turkish troops from Syria, or air strikes will continue. The rights of the Kurdish people must be respected."

Another Catalina, attempting to drop supplies to the YPG, was shot down near Aleppo by Syrian anti-aircraft fire. No further missions have been mounted.

OOC: I'm reasonably certain Iskenderun would be in Khataiy, the original poster's territory, within the frames of this universe. You might want to move your airstrike a little further north!

Deir ez Zor-Hasakah-Raqqa border region

Image

Progress had been made in the farthest reach of northwestern Deir ez Zor bordering into Hasakah and Raqqa with Khataiyi-backed former SDF allies turned rebels capturing large portions of what little territory YPG still held after the split between Arab SDF members and Kurdish YPG. Fighters frkm the Khataiyi backed Euphrates Liberation Army held a captyred SDF flag in front of an embded journalist and said, "We fought for this flag once, then we were betrayed, we shed our blood for this flag and we were repaid with enslavement our revolution will never die, and we will return the rights of the people here in the east. The Turks vow to only move 30km in, we will liberate everything God willing." Then he threw it on the ground and stomped on it.

Turkish-Syrian border

Image

The Turkish and allied rebels some of which were simeltaneously supported by Khataiy had steadily made progress in the operation capturing much of the land and new agreements with major world powers futher ensured YPG's withdrawal from border areas. However the removal of YPG and its replacement with the Turkish military was still a road block in Khataiyi interests and plans would be drawn up to remove the Turkish army and proxies from Syria.

Manbij

Image

Manbij was turned into a neutral zone between Khataiy, America, Turkey and Russia however was a strategic point, with all sides trying to fully control it. All the nations involved had military posts in the city and SDF continued to hold a presense there however, Khataiyi plans for the city to be retaken for the opposition would go into play soon. As American troops continued to leave this would likely make the Syrian governments influence stronger and the weakening of SDF would also help pave the road for SAA to take Manbij.

Local SDF affiliates were being trained and prepared by Khataiy for this very reason with American support and help from locals opposed to the regime and soon like in Deir ez Zor and Raqqa SDF factions in Manbij would announce their defection to the Free Syrian Army and the Khataiyi military would close crossings into Turkish and Assad held areas, and negotiations would be held with Russia as well.

On the approaches to the Al-Hasakah Governorate, Syria

Image

It wasn't exactly the best case scenario for the UK in this matter. It had desperately wanted the Syrian opposition to avoid attacking the Kurds, but it appeared they were dead set on cannibalising the anti-Assadist opposition. Government policy to avoid a genocide, however, was the primary motivator, and the safeties were off. The RAF launched a series of bombing runs, effectively as warning shots for the most part. ELA forward weapons depots and mustering grounds were targeted, in order to dissuade further attack. Infrastructure on the Syrian side of the Turkish border was also bombed, laying down a gauntlet to Turkey not to dare advance further into Kurdish territory. Britain would not allow it.

Of course, making those moves without also targeting the Syrian Government would be tone deaf, and if the British were to take control of the situation in Syria one way or another, they'd have to make good on their opposition to the Damascene regime. As a consequence, military facilities were targeted for broad based strikes - airfields, radar installations, suspected chemical weapons installations. The implication was very clear. The United Kingdom was now at war with Syria, and so help them God, they would bring stability and peace to that region whatever it cost.

Office of the Prime Minister

Statement to the Government of the Republic of Turkey, the Euphrates Liberation Army, and the Assadist Regime in Damascus

The development of the conflict in Syria has reached a point too far for civility to bear. The campaign against the Kurds continues, as much as the war on international laws and norms, on democracy, on freedom still. Her Majesty's Government now considers it within the interests of the United Kingdom, in the protection of ethnic minorities under threat of persecution, and the preservation of international law, and the furtherment of democracy, to intercede in Syria.

We will prosecute this war until such a time as we can assured of the following criteria:
  1. The establishment of a free parliamentary democracy in Syria
  2. The protection of the lives, livelihoods, territories, properties and moveables of the Kurdish and Assyrian minorities within Syria
  3. The maintenance of the internationally agreed laws regarding genocide and the use of chemical weapons

I have spoken with Her Majesty the Queen, and having arranged for a meeting of the Privy Council, orders-in-council have been issued to the effect that we are now at war with the Damascene regime. The United Kingdom intends to prosecute this conflict to its conclusion, with the assurance that stability and democracy be restored to the region, and that no ethnic group be disadvantaged or endangered further.

Yours sincerely,

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Press Release | Pahayag | 新闻稿

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - October 19th, 2019

ENGLISH | INGLES | 英语

RE: Kurdistan Conflict Advisory

The PEOPLE'S FEDERATION OF PAN-ASIATIC STATES is closely monitoring the situation in the Kurdistan region. The Sixth Administration of the Pan-Asiatic States calls upon all parties in Kurdistan to implement the utmost restraint, prevent any further aggression against civilian, and ensure the respect for human rights.

The Sixth Administration declares an official stance of Non-Aggression in regards to the current conflict. The Pan-Asiatic States will withhold official commentary on the issue until further investigation into the situation has been made.

To achieve this end, Yan Qiang, charge d'affaires from the Pan-Asiatic Ministry of Foreign Affairs (PAMFA), member of the Asian Communist Party (ACP), and Asian Diplomat's Cadre (ADC), will be sent to lead an attache of rapporteurs to coordinate (and possibly mediate) with and between the governments of Khataiy, Syria, the various militant factions of Kurdistan, and Turkey.

All Asians who are still in Kurdistan, Syria, and Turkey, particularly those who are in the region's heated conflict zones for non-essential reasons, are encouraged to consider leaving by commercial means at the earliest possible time. Non-combatant government-sanctioned commercial convoys will also be provided for those lacking in finances to retreat via conventional transportation. Maritime convoys, subsidized by the Pan-Asiatic States government, will be accommodating the costs for return of natural born citizens of the Pan-Asiatic States back to their homeland. Asians who are planning to visit the countries in conflict are also advised to defer their travel until the situation is more stable.

In the meantime, I have drafted a proposal to offer refuge in the Pan-Asiatic States for non-combatants caught in the crossfire of the invasion. It has been forwarded to the Executive Council. Suggesting revoking immigration quotas for Syrian refugees for a time period of at least five (5) years, it is currently being reviewed by the State-Presidents of the Federation, and will be deliberated at a date to be announced.

I personally call-upon our Khataiyi allies, who have recently sent military attaches in the region, as well as the local government framework and acting officials of the state, to aid us in future efforts to alleviate the plight of innocents seeking safehaven in the Pan-Asiatic States. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), such as The Safehouse Project Asia (TSPA) and the Pan-Asiatic Medical Mission Association (PAMMA) are already at work and are requesting access from the Syrian government to provide indiscriminate humanitarian aid.

The Sixth Administration remains vigilant of the political situation in the region, and hopes for a peaceful resolution soon.

Forefathers guide us all.

Will osea intervene?

Postby United Osean States » Wed Oct 30, 2019 9:48 pm

From OBC news channel 4 Niagara
Syrian military forces continue to defy international law by target Kurdish civilians in populated areas. the DoD is talking to the president trying to convince him to deploy a " intervention force " to the region and force Syria to the negotiation table and attempt to end the ongoing civil war that has killed hundreds of thousands of lives by perusing a regime change. so far we have not herd back as the talks seem to be behind closed doors.

Eastern Syria

The clashes between YPG and the Khataiyi backed FSA-aligned Euphrates Liberation Army had come to an end seeing how Turkish and allied groups captured much of the border region beating ELA too it, however ELA was successful in blocking Syrian Army reinforcements from entering much of eastern Syria and keeping Deir ez-Zor clear of Iranian militias and Regime forces with the banner of Free Syria flying over this portion of the Euphrates. The Euphrates Liberation Army was only a faction of the Khataiyi-backed "Syrian National Forces" that includes factions from all over rebel-held Syria and serves as a third way against the Turkish backed "Syrian National Army" and YPG backed "Syrian Democratic Forces" and holds defectors from both the SNA and SDF.

SNF's "Military Command of the Eastern Sector" was composed largely of ELA and Local tribesmen, and were closely linked to Khataiy, and orders were given to conclude Operation Dawn of Dignity and present it as a victory over Iran and Hezbollah for Khataiy.

Image

Back in Khataiy, President Khairallah declared the operation a major success,
"A major victory was bestwoed upon Syria's people, and we proudly played a role in keeping Deir ez-Zor liberated, our forces and local revolutionary factions successfully weakend and degraded PKK operational capabilities in the eastern reaches of Syria, and not a single Safavid militiaman crossed the Euphrates due to our vigilience, American forces helped us secure Raqqa, Manbij, and Deir ez-Zor. I wish the Turkish army well in the border operation, and hopefully soon all of eastern Syria will be liberated once again."
