Iarann Grudaidh is an island nation located in Auroran Ocean. It has a large, strong military and has been known for silencing those who oppose them. A group of black market armed mercenaries known as The Rebellion State, have appeared on the Grudaidh doorstep, it's cult-like methods have led to Iarann Grudaidh to fight back for their citizens, some of which have been possessed into carrying out terrorist attacks for TRS.
The Rules
1. No godmoding or metagaming
2. The OP's word, goes.
3. Follow the general forum rules as well
4. The Rebellion State and Iarann Grudaidh are to be played by me (The OP) only.
4. When asked if you've read the rules, you're to reply: aye aye captain birdseye
5. Keep to Modern Tech, slightly PMT is allowed but excessiveness is not authorized.
6. No OOC posts to be posted inside the IC thread. It just clutters it up completely.
Application
Basic Storyline
The Rebellion State is a group of mercenaries who support a communist ideology, they use lethal force to try and scare the people into submission. They dislike the Iarann Grudaidh government for it's Capitalist and Socialist ideologies and wants to change things into the way they see fit.
The Iarann Grudaidh government spends a high percentage of their budget into defence, est 25%. This means it'll be difficult for any full-scale assault, so they've resorted to breaking off and causing as much destruction as possible. If the rebels surrender, they'd be charged with treason, attempted assassination and most likely will be executed for their crimes. So they won't give up easily.
Points of Interest.
Supreme Leader's house - Heavily guarded with modern weaponry and technologies. Sniper towers, SAMs, Mortars and some of the most elite soldiers. constantly bright in the main courtyard and nearby it in order to spot incoming attacks.
Iarann Grudaidh Military HQ - A fortress, rumoured to hold a science lab with prototype versions of the latest tech. However, this means that there are constantly guards patrolling constantly. You can't get near it without tripping the alarm so stealth is not an option.
Iarann Grudaidh Training Facility - On the outskirts of the Grudaidh Jungle, the Training Facility is one of the largest bases on Iarann Grudaidh. Due to Iarann Grudaidh's 2 year-long mandatory military service for all citizens. This base is constantly in use, however, it is tricky to get to with it's remote surroundings, mountainsides and the jungle keep it well protected, and allow troops to train where they can be almost unnoticeable, camouflaged.
Representative Manor- The representative manor is the meeting place for representatives of Iarann Grudaidh and allying nations. It is moderately guarded and is rumoured to contain 12 panic rooms which are all linked by locked doors and tunnel systems.
Iarann Grudaidh Police Headquarters - Outfitted with some of the latest technology, this HQ is a complicated secure building, however it is old and contains asbestos so one fire gone wrong could cause the building to have to be shut down, causing a blow to the Police Department. This would be difficult as the HQ is outfitted with modern, fast working sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers are as common as armed police.
