The climate alarmists, not content with attempting to scare adults with their lies (and often succeeding with the poorly-educated), have now turned to lying to children in an attempt to sow dissent amongst the very future of our countries. While this government was previously willing to tolerate their antics and outright lies in the name of free speech, a child's brain is still not fully developed (that is why they are children and not adults, after all) and even the smartest children are easily manipulated by these alarmists.

The climate alarmists are trying to get children to abandon their education across the world as part of what they call the "school strike for the climate" - in fact a plot by anarchists, communists, and eco-terrorists to destroy democracy, the state, and society itself, as the Carlosian professor Jordan de Molinar has shown. This has already happened in many countries, and now it is happening in Munkchester. And I will not stand for it.

This morning, the Munkcestrian Republic adopted new laws banning the tool of anarchists, communists, and eco-terrorists that is climate alarmism. Spreading the lie that extreme anthropogenic climate change is happening may result in a fine of up to $500,000 and a prison term of up to five years. Polls show that an overwhelming majority of the Munkcestrian electorate supports these laws and punishments.

I urge all governments to follow our example before it is too late.

While we have not outright banned alarmism, in accordance with the Bill of Rights Act 1951, we are taking productive measures to counter it.

Groups such as Extinction Rebellion, No Fossil Fuels Drongonia and Drongonian Ecosocialist Union have been protesting in major cities, and the Ministers of both Police and Justice have personally seen to it that these people have been arrested as soon as they attempt to disturb the peace, in accordance with public protest legislation. In addition, any children attending climate "strikes" during school time will be punished and given in-school detentions equal to the time they spent out of schooling. Employers have been strongly advised to remove annual leave time from individuals who choose to protest and to refrain from paying them.

The nationwide high school standard, the National Drongonian Educational Curriculum (NDEC) underwent a review last year and has been modified to better teach children and educators about the natural temperature changes which have been occurring over the past hundreds of years, and are continuing in the present day, as well as present evidence to suggest and reinforce that we are merely in the midst of a temperature cycle. The NDEC's "Politics and Social Studies" subject area has also been amended to foster critical thinking when it comes to challenging the mainstream views on climate change.

Finally, legislatory action in regards to the environment has been limited to preventing air, water and produce/livestock pollution, which are real issues, rather than attempting to combat a very minor global temperature change. University of Christchurch Environmental Science majors released a paper last month concluding that even if Drongonia did the impossible and halted all carbon emissions, there would be no discernible difference to either the global temperature levels or global air or water pollution. Secondarily, the penalties for all forms of eco-terrorism have been doubled in the last month via amendments to the Terrorism Act 1999.

Nothing about our actions has been inhumane. If you took the time to read the Bill of Rights Act 1951, you would see that every single individual who is arrested, charged or moved on by police is treated with dignity and respect, with due process being a virtue of our system.

Good morning.

On behalf of Astoria, we wish to express our dismay, and hereby condemn the draconian laws recently passed in the Munkcestrian Republic.

We believe that there is a significant veil of hypocrisy in supposedly supporting free speech and "tolerating their antics and outright lies in the name of free speech", and then turning round today, and declaring a ban on so-called "climate alarmism".

The hypocrisy is laid even more bare by championing an article that has proven to be of minimal merit, and evidently shown to be confused as to what it is actually talking about, then prohibiting protests made by people who wish for a better life for this planet.

While it may be said that certain individuals have resorted to violence for those ways, they do not represent the climate change movement as a whole, and are most certainly not " anarchists, communists, and eco-terrorists [plotting] to destroy democracy, the state, and society itself".

Attempting to clamp down on protestors will only add fuel to the fire of hatred, and such individuals may be forced to resort to violence in order to further those views - then you will have radicals occuring, directly as a result to such authoritarian rule.

As such, we will hereby join our counterparts in Daarwyrth to demand that sanctions and / or embargoes must be imposed on the Munkcestrian Republic, until such draconian laws have been abolished or replaced.
