Antakya and Iskanderun, Khataiy

It was a normal day in Khataiy, except that schools in Antakya and Iskanderun were somewhat low in numbers, escpecially in specific neighborhoods, particularly upper-class and traditionally liberal or minority neighborhoods as students have become inspired by so-called "climate" protests in the west. Protests were not new to Khataiy especially in these areas, protests erupted from things ranging from the demand of the resignation of President Omar Khairallah to alleged racism by the government and reform. After protests months ago demanding for reform, the laws have been changed making it easier to protest.

Protestors came out waving Khataiyi flags and held banners with environmentalist writings and others held portraits of Swedish girl who became famous recently for a speech at the World Assembly, that President Khairallah commented on saying "She needs to go back to her room with her dolls and let the adults be adults."

After the protestors came out, many of whom are secondary school aged children, the Elite Forces of the Military Police and a small National Guard Unit affiliated with the National Front ruling coalition known as "Mashara'iyaa - Janah al Askari" (The Project's Military Wing/MJA) have mobilized wearing tactical gear, masks and carrying Kalashnikov rifles. Warning shots were fired in the air to warn the protestors and later live ammunition was used to disrupt protests allegedly killing a young man named Ahmed Walid aged 16 tear gas and flash grenades were also used and 48 protests aged 13 to 25 have been arrested.

It didn't take a lot of time for the news to reach Tokyo, the capital of the strongest nation in the Old World, Neko-koku which spans China, Koreas, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Mongolia.

Prime Minister Shin-ichi Kanazawa, a Maine Coon, began to act.

"Meow. These humans are acting like dogs and oppressing civilians. We need to do something about it."

Several days later the Djibouti-based 4th Fleet began to sail into the Mediterranean Sea. At the same time Tokyo strongly condemned the attacks and promised military intervention if Khataiyi dictators do not stop.

Several thousand Mitsubishi and Kawasaki warplanes had arrived at Djibouti.

The Imperial Bureau of Foreign Affairs of the Majapahit Empire has been notified of the recent turn of events in the State of Khataiy. As a nation that upholds the principles of free speech, we are saddened to hear that the peaceful protests which had erupted out of the consciousness of Khataiyi students was put down through the use of lethal force. Moreover, the unnecessary imprisonment of 48 protestors and even the killing of one under the age of 18 serves as evidence that the government of Khataiy is unconcerned about the physical and mental well-being of its own youth. Consequently, on behalf of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Majapahit and the people of Majapahit, we hereby CONDEMN the measures taken by the Khataiyi government in general and President Omar Khairallah in particular as they are a severe violation of human rights.

Furthermore, we would like to express our condolences to the victims of government repression, who was needlessly put in jail for voicing their thoughts and opinions. They should be considered heroes of the youth for their valiant actions. May the Gods and Goddesses be with all of them.

To whomever it may so concern among the Khataiyi State and the citizenry thereof,

It is our understanding that the government of Khataiy finds itself complicit in a most grievous crime against humanity and against liberty, and that in the eyes of all right-thinking men this offence must not be permitted to go unpunished. Regardless of the value or veracity of a man's cause, it is essential that they be free to speak whatever words they see fit, assembled with their like-minded fellows and in a public place if they wish, as is the natural right of all. While we recognise and agree that it is reasonable for officers of the peace to be present and prepared to avert any outbreak of violent action against person or property, it is wholly unacceptable, even unforgivable, for those said officers to initiate that violent action without provocation, and to then wilfully escalate by use of lethal force the conflict they themselves are responsible for.

We have much discussed the appropriate course of action to take regarding the state of Khataiy following this incident, and you may rest assured that we have many options before us that would be to the extreme detriment of the stability and prosperity of your nation if you are not sufficiently compliant. Yet we Kragers are reasonable men, and we do merely wish to prevent further suffering and loss of life, rather than to have no choice but to cause it. Therefore our demands are twofold and thus:

I. President Omar Ibn Khairallah Zaman az-Ziyaratawi al-Hamawi al-Oqaidi al-Anazzah will resign, effective immediately, on the grounds that he is not fit to lead the nation in a manner conducive to life and liberty.
II. The 'Mashara'iyaa - Janah al Askari', or MJA, is to be disbanded, effective immediately, and shall henceforth be declared a terrorist organisation by the Khataiyi State and acted upon as such.

We hope that the government of Khataiy sees fit to comply with the above, and recognises that to do so is to serve both itself and its people, and that in doing so it will have saved the nation from consequences most dire.

Newark Aristocracy Herby declares war on Khataiy, citing the violation of human rights that have recently transpired,and as such,all units of the armed forces are being sent.

We have our entire navy just south of the suez,and they are Transitting the canal as we speak.

Expect Military invasion in 3-5 weeks.
