With the recent uprising and political instability in the Turk islands, the government of the Empire of Union and Liberty has approved the deployment of 250 peacekeepers, 15 Armoured Vehicles, 3 UH-1 Huey Helicopters to set up a peacekeeping Forward Operating Base (FOB) to provide food and medicine to the local population of the Turk Islands.

A statement by the EUL Minister of Foreign Affairs declared that "Any purposeful attack on peacekeepers will be considered an act of war by the Empire of Union and Liberty and that the consequences will be severe."

A routine Peacekeeping patrol has discovered the body of a EUL Peacekeeper in the jungles of the Truk Islands who carried with him 2 boxes full of field rations that were supposed to be delivered to an isolated wetland village. None of the Field Rations have been stolen, but the EUL Parliament has voted for a limited strike on both the Government and the Oppositon's known arms depots and airfields and an arms embargo on the Truk Islands and both acts will be soon put into effect.

The first five companies of the 31st "Crucible" set foot on the Truk Islands, and into the heart of the Fascist menace. With IFVs requisitioned from the mechanized section of the Pan-Asiatic States Armed Forces, the men and women of the People's Peacekeeping Army rolled through the jungles recklessly. Signalling their approach with dense smoke, the battle-hardened veterans latched-on their thermo-sensitive goggles. Blood pumped through everyone's veins. Machine-gun turrets began to twirl.

Nothing would escape their deadly sights alive.

Their target was an airfield on the south end of the Island , their job was to support the Regime and end foreign attacks on its legitimacy. They began slowly dropping out onto the south end of the Airfield nearby with enemy fire railing on their positions from Automatic Heavy Caliber AA guns. They began moving up the deep thick fields of sugar cane , plowing through with their BMDs and infantry moving on the backs. Soon they had reach the North end of Airbase , with fire from Motorized ZU-23 Teams coming in at a heavy pace. Soon Special Operation Teams of Disposable Rocket Groups were called in to eliminate them. After the Ural Trucks were taken out infantry began pushing into the airfield and start moving in the BMD-2s with mobile support from APCs and infantry following close behind along with mobile mortar groups set up in the back from Auxiliary tracked BMDs the fighting would be an easy fight.

The Fighting continued as Democratic Troops began getting pushed back and were being pushed off the airbase and their supporters began slowly getting hit hard with multiple conventional Troops being killed in the action. The fighting continued for multiple days in the surrounding towns , with the 5th and 7th Division killing 230 Pan Asiatic Communist Soldiers and 670 Local Insurgents , along with 40 supposed "Peace Keepers" who attacked our Troops. The Island is now directly under security control for Jnin Forces , with support of the Truck Islands and we will begin launching operations from the Airbase and all former installations formerly used by local Terrorists and their supporters to engage in showing our solidarity for Truck unity against these Socialist scum.

10/05/2019 - 1900 Hours

The Fascists came out of nowhere, popping out of the natural-borne trenches of the Truk countryside armed with heavy anti-tank materiel and small arms. The IFV convoys began to take heavy fire from the waves of rebels, supported further by their own APCs. The spearhead of the 31st "Crucible" was now broken, with heavy casualties from both sides. Daimyō-Heneral Yoritoki Alexovich ordered his men to retreat to the beachside, having received reports of oncoming enemy bombers headed towards the battlefield.

The men of the 31st Crucible, directed by five Datu (Brigadier-Generals), received orders to dig-in as the People's Peacekeeping Army prepared for a counter-attack. The 31st "Crucible" was ordered to dig in and hold the beach-head at all costs: defeat would mean dishonor. They were now in no position to retreat further, and the men would prefer death over flight. Every man and woman was prepared for martyrdom to the New Democracy if necessary. The Oriental Standard flew boldly into the wind, as the comrades of the 31st worked as quickly as they could to deal as much damage as possible in the upcoming battle. Black-shirted men and women slung their rifles across their shoulders, humming a gleeful song of the revolution in the face of death itself.

Many of the men of the 31st Crucible were veterans of recent conflicts, and were learned in fighting a guerilla war. Every natural barrier was reinforced by the division's engineers, whilst they requisitioned coastal infrastructure by reinforcing every window and dug-out with ZMG75 Indigenous Mounted Machine Guns and ZIM56 Indigenous Infantry Mortars. Ahead of them, scouts laid mines hidden by mud. Infantry Fighting Vehicles which survived the ambush were salvaged, repaired, and repurposed as armored machine-gun nests. The previously victorious Fascist rebels would march to storm the defenses, unaware of the deadly battlements laid out for them ahead.

Meanwhile, the P.A.S Type BBG-097B Zhou-Class Jose P. Laurel and a partition of the South Pacific Fleet sortied to meet the advancing 5th and 7th Union contingents, providing a shattering barrage to cover the Asian retreat. As the Fascist APCs advanced, they were met with heavy coastal fire from maritime guided missiles. A few nautical miles away from the rest of the People's Maritime Army, the P.A.S Type V-322B Jurōjin-Class Aircraft Carrier Oragrad, supported by the P.A.S Type SSN-219B Sapa-Class Submarine Sadyojāta, had launched a Bacus "Knight Falcon" WZ-6, an unmanned autonomous drone, to mark the rebel targets as they made their advance. The drone opened-fire alongside the P.A.S Laurel, slaughtering 301 Union soldiers from the 5th and 129 Fascist rebels in a swift, sweeping barrage of thunder, iron, and blood. The environmental advantage was now to the Pan-Asiatic army, and if they proceeded further, casualties would lose all proportionality, and surely weigh upon the Fascists much heavier than the previous engagement.

The 27th Fighter Echelon flew over the islands to deter the enemy bombers. Chengdu "Mighty Dragon" J-10 Twinjets and Shenyang J-11 Air Superiority Fighters flew side-by-side to assert aerial hegemony. Surface-to-Air guided missiles from the 31st Crucible also prepared to make a stand by the beachside. Democracy would not go quietly into the night.

The Empire Of Union and Liberty has voted on intervention in the Truk Rebellion.
At 6:30AM across the Truk Islands, alarms are sounded at all Fascist government military installations as 44 F/A-18F Fighters fire a total of 74 cruise missiles that hit strategic airbases, frontline bases, command centers, and logistics centers across government controlled territory.
15 minutes later. 3000 men of the 7th Marine Brigade land at the town of Fonpo and 130 members of the elite special forces known as Task Force Viper launch an airborne insertion on the Parem island airstrip to secure a landing zone for EUL helicopters and transports.

By the end of the Morning the town of Fonpo has been secured and Parem island airstrip has been captured and now the EUL Military is prepared to launch an offensive to bring down the Fascist government and establish a democratic republic with the help of national supporters of the Democratic front.
