Idlib, Syria

In order to further legitimize the operation against Turkey, Khataiyi agents in the neighboring Syrian province of Idlib under the control of the militants of HTS which currently is neutral between Turkey and Khataiy would be targeted by Khataiyi agents and rebel groups loyal to Khataiy in order to push HTS into Turkey's influence, as HTS is controversial internationally. Khataiyi agents would plant IEDs and carryout assassinations against HTS officials and leaders, and soon the Khataiyi-backed rebel coalition known as the "Syrian National Forces" would later come to declare war on HTS to cleanse Idlib of HTS and show a link between HTS and Turkey.
