[New Ulysses]

The campaign for peace and prosperity had caught the attention of anarchist fighters situated within the free territory. The creation of hundreds of new companies that would exploit the labor of individuals suffering in poverty was disgusting and could not be tolerated. In response, 500 individuals from the free territory moved to the nation of Jomiya in order to participate as laborers at these newly created companies. Once integrated, these individuals would use various tools such as basic Molotovs and pressure cooker bombs to cause havoc targeted at these companies. Hundreds of building would burn down in a 24 hour period, thousands would die from bombings. The indivudals likewise commit suicide after committing acts of terror in the state of Jomiya. The message had been sent.

The Ulysses Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Jomiya is calling on the local government to address the current situation. These lawless people should be investigated. They should be arrested and be deported to their country of origin.

The Socialist Republics of Mirton is offering $3.2 billion to the Democratic Republic of Mangabia to finance the revival of its anti-ballistic missile shield program. The Politburo of the Communist Party of Mirton has approved the delivery of Isayev hypersonic missiles to Mangabia.

New Ulysses' vital monopoly over the oil-rich "Gold Farms" of the Jomiyan kingdom have come into the limelight of the State Development Directorate (SDD). Over 50 manufacturing and industrial state-standard firms from the Pan-Asiatic States have expressed interests in expanding their services and capital to the country.

The Trade and Industry Commission of the People's Federation is also interested in investing 68 million NSD to the development of New Ulysses' infrastructure: bridges, apartments, government offices and the like. The Commission would like to particularly focus on renovating public infrastructure and transportation.

The Commission also hopes that New Ulysses could relieve tariffs on any Pan-Asiatic goods that are exported to its nation, and maybe even subsidize Pan-Asiatic exports to a certain extent.

The firms in charge of the projects aforementioned will also be hiring locally, and this could create thousands of jobs for local citizens of New Ulysses' major economic development areas.

New Ulysses President Jill Kavanagh, New Ulysses Trade Secretary Anna Kennedy and the rest of the NU delegation will hold high-level trade talks with the People's Federation of Pan-Asiatic States. In exchange for the 68 million NSD development plan, we will eliminate 100% of import duty on steel, aluminium, coal, brown coal and live cattle coming from the Pan-Asiatic States.

As part of our formal request to deploy missiles on our soil, we would like to build our own F-35GTE based on the original New Ulysses F-35 Block 5 to be used by the Gatussian Air Force. If approved, the F-35GTE will be produced under license by Gatussia Defence Industries (GDI).

Johannes Gatto Mendel of the Liberal Thinkers of Gatussia has won the nation's general election defeating his dovish cousin Labour MP Aldrin Gatto. Aldrin Gatto has governed the country for 20 years and became popular by signing the historic North Saralonia Peace Accords which ended the decades-old Second Mangabian War. Mendel has declared that the 50/50 Huhn River partition agreement is "unconstitutional".

Mendel's Policies:

1. To restore the domestic economy and pay the $1 trillion dollar debt inherited from the Gatto Administration.

2. To join the Campaign for Peace and Prosperity initiative and enter a free trade agreement (FTA) with New Ulysses.

3. To reinstate the mandatory pension contribution.

4. To pass a bill which will crack down on trade union misbehaviour.

5. Extend the missile base lease to New Ulysses for another 20 years to counter the regional influence of the Socialist Republics of Mirton.

6. Restore the nation's military prestige.

7. To revoke the autonomy of West Huhn (the whole western part of former South Mangabia) and establish a garrison there.

[Gatussia]

The Gatussian Government has approved the establishment of a garrison in West Huhn. This garrison is situated in an elevated land surrounded by mountain ranges. The bases are heavily fortified and are virtually impossible to be taken through land, air or sea invasion. Even if the enemy managed to pass through the mountains they will have to deal with fortifications in hundreds of giant hillocks which are 80 metres high which surround the main base. The camp is supplied 24/7 via land transport, parachute drop and ship delivery. This move has been made to safeguard our sovereignty and national interest and to eliminate the threat coming from lawless rebels who are squatting in the region and exploiting the natural resources of the Western Huhn Waterway.

There is no need for another regional conflict. The Mirton government has agreed to return Vaerbnu-08 to you. We have constructed the “Shulgog Transmitter Station” designed to detect teleportation signals. This system is now operational. Once decided to pick up the vessel, we can mark the location of your landing point prior to your arrival via teleport. “Do not” come near Bauzan territory.

The History of Red Land (according to documents sent by Mangabia)

For the most part of Mangabia's history, the region and most of Southern Mangabia has been a separate territory, which enabled it to develop its own culture and identity. The region has been the traditional homeland of Muslim, minority Jewish and Christian Mangabians since the 15th century, even before the arrival of the Gatussians, who began to colonise most of Mangabia in 1803. Although Christianity, Islam and Judaism ran counter to the Mangabian Communist Party's policy of atheism, the MCP wanted to appease minority groups in the south to gain their support and provide examples of tolerance. Muslim Mangabians sided with the MCP during the Second Mangabian War sharing a mutual policy of expelling Gatussian and UCA invaders and to remove the corrupt regime in South Mangabia. The MCP promised them an autonomous government once Allied forces leave. After the bloody civil war, Red Land was chosen by the Communist leadership as the site for the predominantly Muslim region. The creation of the Red Land Autonomous Region has not been realised after Gatussia set up a garrison in West Huhn depriving farmers of water from the Western Huhn Waterway.

The Huhn Referendum is organised by New Ulysses and Communist Mirton and nations who were once involved in the affairs in the Huhn River region. We are calling on Bauza, Gatussia, Johbenistan, Luckystan, Majiestine, Mangabia, New Ulysses and Nusantara to vote whether to establish an autonomous region in Southern Mangabia.
