A Meeting in Kafair [CLOSED/CCD Only/IC]

This is the thread for an IC meeting between the remaining Ministry of War undersecretaries, the Acting-Leader of Depackya, and others. Here, we hope to establish some form of continuity for Confederation Government. To those involved, feel free to introduce those members of your delegations in whatever way you see fit. We anticipate no hostilities, thanks to the dedicated soldiers of Kafair and those additional guardsmen in the service of each leader.

[MineLegotia and Equestria]

By using an underground train from under the Empire, the NEW Undersecretary of Raw Production, Charity, arrives in Kafair for the meeting.

She's an earth pony with a yellow coat with a brown mane. She sighs as she gets out of the train, finally out of the freezing Empire

[2nd Imperial German Reich]

Traveling in a Huey helicopter, escorted by 9 Apache attack helicopters, and 12 MiG 29-G’s. The Huey lands, and 2 4-man Fire teams from the KSK rush out and take defensive positions around the helicopter. A man wearing a black officer’s cap, a colonel’s dress uniform, an open black trench coat, and jackboots, Ambassador Martin Bormann departs the helicopter followed by the fireteams.

Entering the bunker, John Jacobs is visibly tired and weak due to organizing a response due the situation occurring outside this bunker. He pulls out a cigar out of his field marshal jacket which is covering on his shoulders and clips an end. He pulls out a chair, sits down and lights his cigar. "So when is this meeting starting? I've got a war that need organizing." He said

Khilkov is already seated at the U-shaped table, with the Czar to his right and surrounded by the Imperial Guard and Confederation Air Force Military police. As each leader enters respectively, he gestures to their assigned seat as they are served drinks by Kafairian Waiters, hearing John Jacobs' question, he turns to him.

"As soon as the Acting-Leader of Depackya arrives I believe, he is the catalyst for all this and I would like to hear whatever he may have to say. Hopefully whatever else remains of the Confederation Government will arrive sooner rather than later."

Addressing the group as a whole, he says.
"Unfortunately I've been informed that Hina Takan will not be in attendance as her current situation precludes the necessary travel to this location, but I would like us to bear her in mind for any plans that may emerge from this meeting."

The door of the bunker is opened, and in walks the Sultan, looking greyer than usual. He bows to the attended. “Welcome to Kafair my friends. Though I do wish this could be done in the palace, the risk of security is too large. Now than. How else do we wait on?” He sit himself, and adjusts his turban

"Unfortunately, dear Sultan, we are still waiting for the Acting-Leader of Depackya to arrive. However, if he continues to take an inordinate amount of time, we will be forced to begin without him."

Isabella walks into the room with a frown on her face
"Hello everybody, glad to see everybody. So what is this meeting about?"

Vladislav Aleksandrov steps through the door of the bunker. "Apologies for being late, there were some mechanical delays with the plane."
Turning to the Sultan of Kafair, he nods. "I thank you for agreeing to host these discussions. If they go alright, this single event will be that which saves the Confederation."
Looking around the room, Aleksandrov asks aloud for all to hear, "Now, are we waiting for anyone else to arrive? Otherwise, we should begin discussing the future of our Confederation immediately."

I therefore move that the three of us create an interim government for the Confederation, with of us retaining control of our respective part of the Confederation Defence Force in addition to a shared executive role. In the meantime, I'm sure roles could be found for each of you, to make best use of your skills and dedication."

"Myself, John Jacobs and Admiral Takan constitute all that remains of the Confederation Government. I therefore move that the three of us create an interim government for the Confederation, with of us retaining control of our respective part of the Confederation Defence Force in addition to a shared executive role. In the meantime, I'm sure roles could be found for each of you, to make best use of your skills and dedication."

"I would be happy to serve this Confederation in any capacity" she sits down in a chair with her hands in her face. "Has anybody found out who killed the Emperor and his family?"

"I'm glad, is there any capacity in which you feel you could serve? As for the regicides, their identities remain a mystery, one which I intend to unveil as soon as possible."

"As would I. Thought. Let it be known I fight to restore the true Viceroy. And Depackya. I have caught wind of your moves against the Chairman. I disagree vehemently, but that is not our current issue."

"Unfortunately, there is no 'true viceroy' the only viceroy is that appointed by the emperor, and since we are without an emperor, we are without a viceroy."

[Depackya]

"As would I. Thought. Let it be known I fight to restore the true Viceroy. And Depackya. I have caught wind of your moves against the Chairman. I disagree vehemently, but that is not our current issue."

Aleksandrov waves his hand dismissively. "As you said, that is not our current issue. All you must know is that I am attempting to help unify the Confederation, not to divide it. But enough of that.
"As Mr. Khilkov explained, our great Viceroy is dead, as are the Emperor and his family. Before all else, including the formation of a faction consisting of the former Confederation government, we should first attend to the issue of Jocospor's successor leadership. We are currently left with two candidates around whom we can rally, neither of whom I trust: Alicia Kemps-Fawler, the CEO of the Imperial Bank, and General Gustaf Rees of the Jocospite Imperial Army. Has anyone here either met or communicated with either of these individuals in the past?"

"Ah, Grand Marshal! What are you doing here? I was not aware that you were invited as well." Turning to the others, he waves towards the men. "Gentlemen, this is Grand Marshal Mykhail Borisov of the Depackyan Army, and General Administrator of the of the Confederation's War Ministry, serving under Ivanov until... well, most recently."

"An excellent suggestion. In that case, the plan would be to create an interim government consisting of the surviving members of the War Ministry, and, once Jocospor has been sufficiently pacified, give control of the nation to Remau until a successor to the late Emperor can be found. Do we have any idea who would serve as a viable successor to our late Emperor?"

"There may be some, but the General of the Jocospite Imperial Army has many of them in league with him, and we simply don't know whether they're innocent or not. Once the situation is settled and investigations are conducted that'll be the first place I look."
