The Cousins' War [Ended, Closed]

Postby Arcadian States and Commonwealths » Sat Aug 10, 2019 8:22 am

I am OP here, I just posting with Arcadia's account because it is relevant to him and not me however I came up with the RP and I am running it. You can discern my posts from Arcadia's post by the small italics at the end of FASC posts: "Post made by Durradon with permission from Arcadia". Otherwise please pay close attention in this RP as I will be RPing two sides in this war for the sake of me not making 5 accounts to play different characters and sides. Thank you for reading this because I'm sure you all did read this.

Anavokya

The time had come. The High Authority had been formed, a council of the people, to lead the people of Anavokya to victory. New plans were drawn up and they were being put in motion. Anapols, Anaslovs and Stravene were all to be joined together in harmony under the communist party of Anavokya. Rallies would be a daily occurrence and attendance would be required. Any able-bodied men and women would have to fight to achieve this dream of a united world under the New Liberated Free Nations. This war would be the war to bring back the days of the Liberated Free Nations. First, liberation would be upon the Drejveškan nations of Markion. What was left of the Anavokyan navy and marines after the initial revolution would be integrated into the new Anavokyan Liberation Navy (ALN) and sent to Anapoltania and Anaslovakia. Meanwhile, a strategic bombing campaign would be waged in Stravel by the Anavokyan Liberation Air Force (ALAF) while the army, the Anavokyan Liberation Army (ALA), quickly takes the cities and critical locations of Stravel. After the revolution, there was only hatred from their neighbours, they needed to help the common folk in those nations whose voices were being stamped out by their leaders who only cared about their rich voting base.

This war would need support from allies if it were to work, however. Many irregulars from the occupied LFN managed to make it across the border due to the wars in Diyaristan and the UCSO, very little Sevevillian troops existed to barely keep the LFN in check. Other allies in Markion would secretly be called upon; they would offer troops, equipment and more to this war effort. Anavokya had what it needed to protect itself and wage this colossal liberation war, be they needed to be fast, as did the opposing ASAF and CDP. If they were not fast enough the communists would be able to conquer much land and make a sturdy defence and would defeat the ASAF in a war of attrition. But if the communists were not fast enough, and didn't win critical engagements, they would be crippled and Drejveška would be torn apart by conflicting parties.

They knew what they had to do. The High Authority commenced Operation Chain Break.

Anaslovakia

Anaslovakia was taken in but a week. Their coastal capital of was liberated by the ALN and occupied quickly, however fighting continued in the streets and for six days. The Anaslovakian President was captured and agreed to a peace treaty. Integration into the New Liberated Free Nations began once again. Most of the nation quietly accepted their new order. The Anaslovakian military was quickly integrated into the Liberation Armed Forces of Anavokya. However, it was not as simple and as easy as the Anavoykans had liked. A minority of the Anaslovakian armed forces broke off and made their way into Stravel, led by General Viktor Krenkya, giving support to the Stravene armed forces in the evacuation of southern Stravel. Weeks have passed since the liberation happened and small rebel groups have formed, trying to fight back against the local Anavokyan Forces but not gaining any ground, the rich had got their just deserves, but their greed would push them to fight the new equality that communism had brought. They didn't seem to grasp the concept that the Anavokyan culture was superior and that all would be equal and none would suffer. They seemed to want the workers of the world to suffer while they sat in their ivory towers.

Anapoltania

Much like the Anaslovakians, the Anapoltanians capitulated fast but gave far more of a fight. Three armoured divisions managed to hold the land border between Anaslovakia and Anapoltania from the Liberation Navy's marine corps, allowing most of the small Anapol military to retreat into Stravel further consolidating the newly formed Coalition Defence Pact's forces. (CDP, made between Stravel, the Anapoltanian heir to the throne and the exiled governors of Anaslovakia) A large number of civilians left behind in the rush were captured including a large majority of military stockpiles and installations. Anapol Defence forces swiftly surrendered after the Liberation Navy threatened to bombard the civilian emergency gathering points. The Liberation Navy wanted no more death, unfortunately, the Prime Minister of Anapoltania was killed in the fighting, and the Tsar of Anapoltania arrested so that oppression of the monarchy could never hold power over the common folk of the country ever again.

Stravel

Stravel was ready to resist the Anavokyan liberation but were not mobilised properly. The armed forces made the decision to leave the south of Stravel and concentrate on getting the military to safety, their remaining forces as well as their new allies' troops in order to fight another day rather than lose most of their forces trying to round up civilians. The northern city of Tyek in Stravel has become a sanctuary city and is the place were all refugees have been told to go in this time of crisis. Meanwhile, the Coalition forces have gathered on the new Northern Stravene border and created several forward operations bases with the main army making their base in the town of Nevingol pushing out local civilians and telling them to make way to the sanctuary city for their own safety. With the Stravene Army mostly saving themselves, the Coalition Defence Pact is strong enough to mount a strong defence or perhaps offensive. The CDP has issued a statement to the New Liberated Free Nations:

"We have drawn a line in the dirt, communists. Whatever you cross this line with, we shall respond ten-fold. The heart of our coalition will never be broken and we shall retake our homes. As this statement is spoken, our allies in the ASAF come to our aid, you will be overwhelmed, overpowered, outmanoeuvred and outnumbered. You will have every opportunity to surrender during this time."

Finally, the Drejveškan War had begun in earnest.

- Sjovenia and Treko join the war as allies of CDP on the grounds of unprovoked war, violation of sovereignty and destroying communists. They begin a joint invasion of the NLFN.
- All CDP Allied Force attacks stopped in stalemates along NLFN borders.
- High Authority of the NLFN wiped out in a chemical attack by CDP Allied Forces.
- Treko and Sjovenia call on a new ally, the Sevevillian Empire (A nation bordering the NLFN), to invade the NLFN.
- Sevevillian Empire begins an invasion of NLFN, but are slowed by partisan guerrillas.
- Singular leader rises to power under the title of Autarch.
- The new Autarch of the NLFN, Zarla Kovort, rallies the NLFN and begins a defensive campaign, refusing even to launch strikes in CDP allied nations.
- The Kingdom of Rhamos, Jovepenian Empire and Constitutional Monarchy of Raltirian Denethier join the NLFN as its allies on grounds of war crimes against the communist bloc.
- Great Humania joins the CDP as its ally on grounds of violation of sovereignty and preventing the spread of the communist ideology.

Rules

Rules that are not met may result in you being barred from posting.

1. I am your lord and saviour, OP (Durradon), I control everything in this thread so come to me if you have problems.

2. The War is limited to the CDP and NLFN controlled areas, as seen on the map.

3. This war already has massive forces fighting each other. Non-markion nations are limited to a force as large as 35,000 troops. Use them wisely, clever use of forces will be rewarded.

4. Respect the geography of the land. Stravel is mostly rolling steppes but Anaslovakia and Anapoltania are forested and hilly lands with most settlements on the coast. Anavokya has a great number of lakes and rivers that make it hard to traverse the land in any way other than one with that one way being the roads. You may find yourself having to fight more for the roads rather than the cities.

5. Writing and images should not go outside Nationstates' RP/conduct guidelines, look them up if you haven't already.

6. Please send me a TG if you are NOT a nation from Markion and want to join in, sign up on the OC thread too.

7. Please TG me for Map requests. If you need detail on a certain place or piece of land, I can throw it your way.

8. Griefers will be shot on sight.

9. No godmodding, you will be shot on sight.

10. Have fun or you will be shot on sight.

New Additional Rules

11. No teleporting armies, troops and whatnot. This RP is more on the realistic side, you will need to RP your troops moving to the warzone, setting up a base of operations (maybe you'll share one with your new allies), and then setting up a logistics network to support that army, whether it be from local allies or from your home country.

12. New players must provide a sample of their RPing ability before joining.

Please make it clear which alliance you support, neutral third parties welcome and encouraged:

Declaration of War

Image

It is through the mutual agreement of the Trekkish Parliament and High-Chancellor Yaroslav Tsvetkov that a Declaration of War is presented to the Liberated Free Nation of Anavokya and its affiliates; The Liberated Free Nation of Anapoltania, The Liberated Free Nation of Anaslovakia, and the Liberated Free Nation of South Stravel. Anavokya has embarked on a war of imperialist aggression against its neighboring nations. It is clear that these actions of war are only to facilitate the spread of communism upon the Drejveškan people and the surrounding area. Anavokya, in an act of aggression, launched missiles at the United Federation of Treko which promoted a rise in military presence on the Anavokyan-Trekkish border. It is apparent that to stop the spread of Communism our nation must intervene and aid the CDP against the NLFN menace.

1. Anavokyan aggression against neighboring nations

2. Aggression towards the United Federation of Treko

Signed, High-Chancellor Yaroslav Tsvetkov

It was safe to say that shit had indeed hit the fan. Our government had declared war on Anavokya and their NLFN cronies in an effort to help the CDP. No fighting had occurred yet but that was all about to change. My squadron along with a few other squadrons had been tasked with the opening shot against Anavokya. The mission was rather “simple,” as my squadron along three others were to cross over the Trekkish-Anavokyan border, eliminate all AA and SAM sites around the FOB, provide cover for CAS support over the FOB, and return home. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. Hell, we were nearing the damn border and I felt the urge to either shit or throw up in the cockpit! The fact I held my composure this long was a grand feat in my opinion. However, as my squadron neared the border the realization of what was happening hit me and I gripped the throttle and joystick tightly. I felt sick...I wanted to go home. Millions of things went through my mind yet it was the static of the radio that brought me back.

“...EIS to Dud, Sokol is wanting an update, over...”

“Dud to EIS, we’re five mikes out from the border, over,” I replied calmly as I looked at the datapad that sat on my left thigh. With a finger, I slid the image down and looked over the map of the area. The HD map had an overlay from the software which outlined our mission and the mission that would follow afterward.

“...Copy that, Dud. Will relay to Sokol… Godspeed, Dud. EIS, out…”

As the radio went silent the datapad that was strapped to my thigh began to beep repeatedly as our crossing over the border had been confirmed via the satellite. Without hesitation, I immediately activated my ECM jammer that sat hooked beneath the fuselage of my jet. To confirm that it was active a single bright green light flickered briefly then remained constant. I let out a sight before moving my breathing mask back over my face, “Dud to all squadrons, if you have ECM jammers activate them now. Things are about to get hairy out there. Dud, out.”

A stream of confirmations came through the radio except for those unfortunate not to receive an ECM jammer. The best thing they could do was stay in the wake of someone with ECM or just pop flares and take evasive maneuvers. As if to put that theory to a test my RADAR began to pick up multiple incoming contacts from the ground. A constant high pitched beeping began to go off in my cockpit at the same time the RADAR picked up the contacts. I angled my jet to view the ground and saw multiple surface-to-air missiles approaching fast. "This is it! Spread out and keep formation. Take out those SAM sites and cover the damn CAS. Dud, out."

"CAS is goi..." the transmission was cut short as a missile slammed into the jet removing any trace of it from the air. I instinctually maneuvered out of the way before straightening out. My breathing was rapid and I doubt no matter what I did it wasn't going to calm down so I pushed on. I pitched my jet down then leveled myself out as I came in for a run on a SAM site. With a flick from my thumb, I unlocked the weapons safety and when I neared I unleashed a brief salvo from my rocket pod at the SAM site. If it was destroyed or not I didn't know. All I knew was that I needed to get out of there as tracer fire began to fly past me.

"...This is Oddball from squadron 2, were going in for a run on the FOB...

As I flew away from the SAM site and the nearby FOB I watched as a squadron of 10 CAS jets fly-in low yet only 2 remained on course while the rest split off to deal with SAM sites. The remaining 2 pitched up and dropped a grey cylindrical bomb which broke apart in the air but did not suspend. It began to swarm overhead. As I pitched up to gain altitude I watched an explosion in the distance as a CAS jet exploded mid-air.

The inside of the APC was far from being the comfiest thing in the world. If you had claustrophobia this was probably the biggest shitshow you could endure. Of course, with how things were going right not claustrophobia probably shouldn't have been the biggest concern in your life. We were about to cross the border and assault an enemy-held FOB position so I'm sure this was more of priority. I myself was keeping occupied by working on the M.U.D that sat on the front of my ballistic vest. It was basically an uplink device that allowed me to connect to a drone swarm once it was deployed, however, as of right now it was pretty useless since the screen on the M.U.D was showing that no drones were active as of yet. I'm sure that would change rather quickly when the flyboys came in and did their shit which I hoped was gonna go well. We were counting on them to clear SAM sites, AA, and drop the drone swarms. I was more concerned with drone swarm particularly. My squad along with the rest of the division was counting on me to use the drones effectively against the FOB. If I were to go down, a morbid thought, another guy with a M.U.D would take over. So it was rather simple, keep my fucking head down and avoid getting shot. Simple, right?

"Yo, György, why do you keep fucking around with that thing?" asked Uvarov, the grenadier, who had for the last hour been going over his 40mm grenades.

"Same reason you keep fucking with your grenades. I'm nervous as hell... it occupies my mind," I responded as I continued messing with the settings on the M.U.D. which just involved me lowering and raising the brightness on the screen, changing the font size, and changing the font color. When I broke my gaze from the M.U.D. and looked up at Uvarov he was already back to looking over his 40mm grenades. I watched as he opened his mouth but slowly shut it as he seemed more interested on his grenades. That was my cue to go back to the M.U.D. which was ajar and showing the screen. The settings screen was still there staring back at me waiting for an input command.

"György, stop messing with the M.U.D.," said Sergeant Nekrasov, his eyes focused on me as he waited for me to comply.

"Yes, Serge..." My reply was cut off as the turret atop the APC began to open fire rapidly with its autocannons. The brass the was ejected could be heard hitting the roof of the APC before going silent which I assumed it was hitting the ground beneath the APC.

"Alright, this is it! Keep low, stick together, and will get through this." Shouted Sergeant Nekrasov as stood up from his seat and hit a button that was adjacent to the back doors and they swung open. He was the first one out and the first to set up the perimeter. The rest of the squad myself included poured out the back of the APC and set up a perimeter with the Sergeant. From just a glimpse I could see IFVs upfront firing their cannons at the FOB. Other squads that had disembarked were sticking behind their APCs as the enemy returned fire from their FOB. I watched as an APC erupted with an explosion that caught its nearby squad on fire who began to let out a gut-wrenching scream of pain. I looked away yet their screams still filled my ears. My only focus now was Nekrasov who shouted some order that was barely audible to me but from what I grasped from everyone else we were moving up with the APC. Advancing was truly terrifying as enemy fire only seemed to increase. Friendly bodies seemed to be more and more prevalent nearer to the FOB, but the funny thing is we weren't even close. If anything we were maybe at least 120 to 150 yards away... As I peered around the APC to see the action I felt myself get dragged back into cover, "Are you trying to lose your face, Corporal?"

"N-No, Sir!" I replied, looking at Sergeant Nekrasov whose face was rather absent of emotion at the moment.

"Stay in fucking cover," ordered Nekrasov as he put his free hand up to his headset before looking up which everyone else seemed to do as well. Friendly jets flew overhead; their engines announcing their presence onto the battlefield. I managed to catch a sight of a CAS jet who swooped in low and dropped a grey cylindrical bomb which broke apart in the air but did not suspend. Nekrasov merely just looked over at me and gave me a nod. Using the cover of the APC I opened the M.U.D. and looked at the screen which was asking if I wished to connect to the drone swarm. I hit "yes," immediately and was quickly brought to a screen that was showing me a live feed from the drone's point of view. I cycled through only a few drones to realize they were holding a position in a rotating circle over the FOB. Using my finger I clicked then dragged to select several drones and when a target came up in view I sent the kill order which the drone acknowledged. Quickly, I peered out as drones from within the swarm began to dive down and explode within the FOB. A grin grew across my face as I ducked behind cover and continued this process from behind the APC.

Autocracy of Slaveška

Image

The Autocracy of Slaveška officially releases a statement regarding the Liberated Free Nations. The Liberated Free Nations have committed an act of war against Treko, a long time ally of Slaveška. Autarch Ferdinand Tennfjord condemns the actions of the Liberated Free Nations and calls for swift action to bring justice. Autarch Ferdinand along with the Slaveškan High Command have authorized the mobilization of all war ready troops and equipment. The Autocracy of Slaveška formally declares war in response to acts of aggression and will do what it can in hopes to achieve peace and stability in the Drejveškan Region.

Sovijagrad, Slavija District, Slaveška

(Five days prior)

Niko Gjorov and Autarch Tennfjord walked down the halls of the newly renovated Sovijagrad. A Capital Building “meant to stand time itself both in structure and beauty”. It had been about a week since the Summit adjourned with all the ASAF members. The decision had been reached, War was inevitable as long as he threat across Trekkish Borders continued to grow.

A member of the Autarch’s Guard stood in front of a white door, fancy detailing on the door was trimmed in gold only adding to the beauty of this magnificent building. The Guard opened the door and the two men walked in before sitting down. First order of business was to discuss an Operational Order. Then a meeting with the Slaveškan High Command to discuss planning of the initial wave of troops. "Alright, lay it on me" Autarch Tennfjord said after taking a seat. Gjorov opened up a folder and displayed its contents on the intricate coffee table before them.

"As of a week ago we have set up a staging area in Jaroslava Air Base, Treko. Between Jaroslava and Tennfjord Air Force Base we have Airborne Forces, Mechanized Infantry, IFVs, Tanks, Fighter jets and bombers. Everything I had asked for at the summit has been transferred to Jaroslava Air Base aside from Tennfjord Air Base, as you know it is a bomber unit. I just received word thirty minutes ago that the Trekkish attack has commenced. This initial wave will be able to make a push along side Trekkish forces into LFN territory. However, I will request that the Navy also make a push, something we can discuss in further detail at the High Command meeting." Niko Gjorov paused before letting out a breath. Not realizing how quick his brief would be, he awaited for questions. "Excellent, lets gather the High Command in the War Room and discuss the confidential details in a more secure location." and with that the Autarch and Gjorov agreed to set up the meeting almost immediately.

(One Hour Later)

Autarch Tennfjord sat at the head of the table overlooking his High Command. With him was Niko Gjorov the Minister of War, Darijo Vidmar of State Intelligence, Ivar Falk the Minister of Space, Duro Marinkovič the Command General of the Armed Forces, Tita Selimi General of the Air Force, Besim Aganovič General of the Army, and Anna Larsen Admiral of the Navy. Niko Gjorov cleared his throat and began the meeting,

"Ladies and Gentlemen this meeting of the High Command is called because of the ever growing threat to our nation and our nation's allies. I have asked of you to help with phase one of our Operational Order. Operation Vanguard as I call it consists of attacking strong points in South Stravel." Gjorov used a pointer on a digital map. "Operation
Vanguard consists of joint service operations between the MSAF, MSA, and MSN. General Selimi, we have fighters at Jaroslava and bombers at Tennfjord Air Base but we can't get started without a couple of Squadrons of Ni-117C's. I'm also requesting Ka-25's for CAS Missions. With the Ni-117C's we can commence a first strike on AA and SAM Targets paving a way for fighters to gain air superiority. With Air Superiority we accomplish two things. One: CAS for ground forces and Two: safe air space for our Bombers. After the destruction of SAM and AA, General Aganovič, your BMV12's will have all the time they need to unleash hellfire. Decimate what you can and use your ground forces to mop up whatever pockets of resistance survives. Admiral Larsen, I know getting ships mission ready is slow going but it is under my assumption that everything is up to date, I made a request for a fleet which included Naval Infantry. While The Army and the Air Force handle targets in North West Stravel you will handle targets in South West Stravel. Your fleet will be off the coast of North Stravel and will have the aid of the North Stravel Army...The North Stravel Army will be assisting in all matters...
" Gjorov said realizing that he forgot to mention that from the get go. "With the aid of North Stravel and missile attacks from our missile cruisers you should be able to take the small port town located just a few miles south of North Stravel. Being THEE only access to water it is heavily defended but I have no doubt that between the Navy Missile Barrage, the Army's Naval Infantry, and the North Stravel Army it can be taken....it WILL be taken." Niko Gjorov looked around the room sternly. After questions were answered the meeting adjourned. It was time....

Ministry of the Slaveškan Air Force Jaroslava Air Base, Treko

(Three days prior)

Jaroslava was busier than usual, the some what quiet base that conducted routine training flights had an increase of take off and landing air craft. After the recent attempted missile attacks on Treko both Jaroslava and Tennfjord Air Base were put on high alert. Zulu status was called for the fighter base, meaning it was one step above high alert. There was a constant number of jets made readily available and on standby armed to the teeth.

To add on to the constant volley of flights there has been plenty of troop movement. Command General of the Armed Forces, under order of the Minister of War, began mobilizing troops into Treko, North Stravel and the Bay of Stravel. 250,000 Personnel arrived in Treko or were in transit to North Stravel if they werent in place already. Only those that were on a need to know basis, typically higher ups knew the actual details of Operation Vanguard...

46th Fighter Squadron, North Stravel

(Present Day)

The Ni-117C gracefully sliced its way through the clouds soaring at cruising speed. The plane was guided through a gradual bank before the instrument rolled back to its center of gravity showcasing its horizontal and vertical details. In less than 10 miles the squadron of stealth aircraft would be within its 5 miles window to drop its payload targeted at the NFLN Forward Operation Base designated "Target 6".

"Radio Check?" a cackled voice called out. An echoing "Lima Charlie" resounded back through the radio as several voices replied back. The rest of the ride went smoothly as radio silence was emplaced on the pilots. After five minutes the distance had been traveled, 6.8 miles till Target 6 was directly under the jets. Giving the 46th Fighter Squadron approximately 1.8 miles of wiggle room...the silence was broken once again... "Make last minute calculations and prepare to drop, remember....once those bay doors open we will be visible to radar. Keep your head on a swivel, zoom and boom how copy?" an echoing "Yessir!" was heard. The Flight Commander glanced at his HUD, checked his speed, and did a quick calculation in his head. After a quick moment of staring at his HUD he flicked a switch and pressed the release button on his trigger, shortly there after his fellow pilots did the same things. *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* a warning signal went off.....7.6 seconds....thats all it took for the radar to ping his location. He quickly flicked the switch back as the bay doors closed. In less than 2 minutes the missiles would reach their targets and knock out radar, AA, and SAM sites. Once a confirmation had been made the BMV12's, located near Eunark, would begin launching an almost unstoppable barrage to level the FOB.

Clearing The Skies

The response to the Trekkish offensive was rapid and brutal. There were far more SAM sites than anticipated launching a new wave of missiles to deal with the CAS jets wreaking havoc on the field. These were shorter-range missiles but far more manoeuvrable because of it. The C-RAM systems began to fill the sky with bullets taking out some of the missiles launched at the units on the ground. The Liberation Air Force now took the chance to respond. Fighter jets took to the air time enough before the attack and now they would spring their counteroffensive. The interceptors fired a volley of missiles towards the Trekkish planes, confirming explosions. The Liberation air force would have to succeed as local anti-air units had been cut in half after the close airstrike.

Drone Swarms & Bullet Storms

Image

The initial defence was going well, the line of APCs and IFVs had been stopped as the FOB garrison fired anti-tank missiles at the armoured vehicles and the 50 cal. open fired on exiting infantry, punching through the side armour as the GPMGs' lower calibre rounds tinged off and then turned their attention to suppressing the infantry. Every second that went by was precious, precious to the Trekkish forces so they could fight back, but precious to liberation forces so that they could hold them long enough for the reserve line to send in counter reinforcements. The order had been sent, they only needed time.

However, the garrison would have a harder job as explosive drones raced into the compound. A few soldiers managed to shoot some as they flew down starting a chain of explosions like a hand full of fragmentation grenades. Some reached their targets and shrapnel was sent coursing through the air and hit many Liberation army troops, some standing too close to the explosives and were killed outright, most were wounded but fought on. The few that found themselves unscathed saw their dead comrades, and rather than being filled with fear, a sign of new courage was found. They stood called to their men and rallied the defence, fighting back with a fury that they had mustered from within.

In the bunkered part of the FOB, the commanding officer ordered artillery in the rear lines to begin bombarding the approaching mechanised forces. Alongside this, troops were ordered to begin firing mortars from the FOB. The base had been damaged from the enemy IFVs' autocannons but they would hopefully hold until the counter-attack arrived. Moments passed as the fighting grew ever fierce and men could hear nought but ringing. Even if deaf, however, you could feel the rumbles of artillery shells were launched through the air and onto the Trekkish forces, launching dirt and perhaps more into the air.

Autocracy of Slaveška

Long Ranged Fighting

As soon as they were detected the Liberation Air Force was called forth to combat the incoming Sjovenian attack. Interceptors were on their way but the more pressing issue was the FOB being targeted by 192 missiles coming from a squadron of jets. Countermeasures were quickly deployed as this was foreseen. All bar 25 missiles had been destroyed mid-air. Some hit the front of the base, destroying frontal defences and leaving it vulnerable for attack unless it was quickly built back up. The remaining garrison got to work as they called for aid. Another group of missiles hit a group of supply trucks near the mobile radar damaging the dish before another missile slammed into the vehicles, sending it up in flames, they would now have to rely on reports from other nearby FOBs and their radar dishes. New ammunition, medical supplies and more were ordered straight away but would take time to rebuild. Several more missiles came in destroyed some of the mobile CIWS and AA platforms. Most of the base was still online but an attack from the North may be able to punch an effective whole through the lines if they didn't receive support. Thankfully, during the attack, officers were able to communicate a call for reinforcements from the second line. Anavokya's finest were o the front line, and they would not give an inch of ground without fighting to the last.

Anavokyan Government Responds To Invasion

Image

The Anavokyan government has responded to the Sjoveno-Trekkish military forces invading their sovereign land. The High Authority has called for a non-aggression agreement until the intervention into Stravel, Anapoltania and Anaslovakia has been completed, the regions stabilised and government corruption and oppression has been dealt with. Anavokya has called the nations of Markion and the world to condemn the actions of the imperialist powers obviously trying to assert control over the Drejveškan region while it is destabilised. The Speaker for the High Authority has issued this statement:

"Comrades! We have finally achieved true equality in Anavokya. Unfortunately, our cousins in neighbouring countries were being oppressed by capitalist overlords. In Anaslovakia, the one percent were content to keep the poor worker down in the slums and gain money from their labour. In Anapoltania the Tsardom and the rest of the aristocracy there received billions from the pockets of the average person like you and me and spent it on frivolous things rather than helping the country grow, many poor Anapols sold themselves into contracts that gave them merely pennies every day. In Stravel, money was poured into the military-industrial complex as homeless Stravene had to make new homes on the steppes in cities of tents so they were not taxed into the ground just for living in an apartment and trying to live the way they wished! The intervention into these lands was fair and just, if we wished death and war upon these people we wouldn't have pushed to end the war so quickly by doing what we did, we're not here to kill our cousins!"

As the border conflict grows, more and more free comrades join the fight to protect their newfound freedoms. In addition, aid has finally arrived in the country from friendly powers allowing more troops to be sent to reinforce the borders and hold back the imperialist powers backed by the Arcadian Empire or rather FASC as they call themselves now. More on the story as it progresses.

Lieutenant Viktor Dudka (Callsign Dud)
Anavokya

The skies over Anavokya had turned into a massive furball of a dog fight. Communications were buzzing with callouts, request, and the excitement over the destruction of an enemy jet. Despite trying to be optimistic the fight in the air was not going in our favor. Enemy SAM sites had eliminated friendly jets that weren't equipped with ECM jamming equipment, however, a sizeable amount of us remained but with how things were going we would dwindle quickly. As I thought over our situation I heard the radio crackle to life.

“...EIS to Dud, mobile PTS systems are up and running. Aerial forces in the area will be given priority, over..."

"Dud to EIS, it's getting a little choppy out here. Additional reinforcements would be great, over."

"...Copy that, Dud. Will relay to Sokol. Hold out, over and out,"

The radio went silent but it was quickly replaced by cheering from friendly pilots as the mobile PTS systems began to open fire on enemy aircraft, SAM missiles, and air-to-air missiles. I didn't watch to confirm if the mobile PTS system had tagged any enemy jets...I merely redirected my jet back into the combat. With the PTS system offering more coverage than we could initially do I radioed the CAS jets to do another run. This time they would have the coverage of the PTS system and friendly jets. My only hope was that they wreaked havoc on the enemy rear line and support line.

Focusing on the M.U.D. was becoming increasingly difficult as earth plastered the screen making inputting orders rather difficult. As I attempted to frantically wipe the screen free of the earth I felt the ground rumble and caught a glimpse of an APC lift into the air only to slam loudly back down onto the ground. I wanted to peer around my piece of cover to check if the squad attached to the now destroyed APC were still alive but I resisted my urge to do so... for I knew the reality. That entire squad was probably only a blood mark on the ground right now and if another artillery shell were to be lucky the same thing would happen to us. The thought of that occurring played over in my mind repeatedly as I continued to wipe off the earth on the screen. My frantic cleaning of the screen began to slow as I felt my eyes begin to well up with tears then the cleaning came to a stop as I felt tears run down my cheeks. They flowed as I fought to hold them back and continue my mission but I couldn't.

"György...György, I know this is tough but I need you to man the fuck up right now," said Sergeant Nekrasov, his hand gripping my shoulder tightly as he looked me straight in the eyes, "Everyone else is just as nervous and as scared as you but we need to get the fuck to work and hit those mortars!"

"Yeah, hurry up and get the fuck to work, György! I want to be relaxing in the FOB," Shouted Uvarov from the back of the squad, his figure as low as it could possibly go in the piece of defilade. I gave a nod to Uvarov knowing that his comment wasn't met to be derogatory nature. He was, in fact, encouraging me. I looked to Sergeant Nekrasov while wiping away the last of my tears and gave another nod to him as looked back down at the M.U.D. screen and began cycling through the drone swarm.

The mortar pits were easy to find but as for the artillery strikes coming in that was a different matter entirely. Flyboys in the sky would have to take care of that matter but from the looks of it, they had their hands full. I pulled my attention back to the matter at hand and sent the attack order to the drones. A part of me wanted to peer around my piece of cover and see the explosions go off to confirm that the order went through. However, I fought my urges and listened for the distinguished explosion from the drones as they slammed into the FOB. With a grin on my face, I turned towards Sergeant Nekrasov who had his hand over his earpiece, "When are we going to push up and squash these Commies?"

"We aren't pushing up, György. Missile strikes are coming in on this FOB and other border fortifications in Anavokya," replied Sergeant Nekrasov as he looked over all of us, "Sit tight and wait for the fireworks.

As you are well aware the United Federation of Treko has issued a declaration of war against Anavokya and their puppet governments which reside in your former nations. Our invasion may have given you a few moments of breathing room against the advancing communist menace but it will not last long. Since our nation has thrown in to help your coalition we will be willing to send the Trekkish Western Army into Stravel to help push against the communist forces. We will also be willing to offer equipment and gear to help you and your efforts against the enemy. That being said, if we are to succeed in this war and regain your territory and squash this red menace...We must work together. If one of us plans for the next attack, we all plan for the next attack. If the Coalition agrees to our governments help we will begin troop movement and supply movement immediately. If needed military advisors can be provided.

We await your answer.

Falling Scrap

Airspace was becoming tight, both sides had an equal footing in the fight for air superiority as some of LFN interceptors were shot down. As PTS systems began firing at each other to negate their abilities, the true dog fight began. Missiles were being shot out of the air and flares were being set off every few seconds. The LFN fighters began to rely on their machine guns to bring the enemy down as they let their bullets rage through the smoke-filled air. Pilots shot until the plane had been destroyed, troops on the ground would capture enemy pilots if they could. With so many planes and missiles, AA systems were beginning to run dry of ammunition.

More drones raced in seemingly from nowhere. They were heading directly towards the mortar pits, three groups of three. Two groups were obliterated, their bodies turning to red mist as a large amount of grenade sized explosions blew the Liberation Army soldiers to pieces. The mortar shells when off as well with the explosion becoming larger and larger and an ear destroying sound rippling across the battlefield. The remaining group managed to shoot the drones before they could reach them, shrapnel still spread across the pit with some men being wounded. It was looking grim, but a defence could still be mounted, as long as there were people to man the machine guns that were keeping the Trekkish infantry pinned, they would be able to hold.

Unfortunately for the base, however, a missile strike was incoming. It wasn't long before the PTS system focused its attention to the incoming strike, picking off some missiles, but there were too little defences at the base to stop the whole strike in time, especially with the current dog fight. The missiles slammed into the base. Naught but smoke and dust could be seen, but the machine guns had stopped. Could it be over, could this small skirmish be over?

They began to fire again, surprising the Trekkish. The surprise, however, was not that the base was firing again but that when their hearing finally came back, they could hear the rumble of engines. Tanks. They began to emerge out of the dust cloud as if the dead Anavokyan troops had been reincarnated as armoured death machines. They fired the cannons with loud booms, rounds zooming overhead into Tekkish APCs and IFVs. The Anavokyans were now advancing on the pinned down Trekkish. Liberation Army APCs began unloading more troops to the FOB as wounded were thrown into the APCs with combat medics. Mobile Anti-Air began to open fire on the Trekkish planes but with the FOB's AA defences destroyed, their ability to combat the planes would be limited, they would have to rely on bases not currently engaged. Artillery continued to rain down. The reinforcements had arrived not in time to save the FOB but just in time to plug the gap and continue to hold off the Trekkish.

Airspace between North Stavel & Treko
46th Fighter Squadron

A few missiles were destroyed by CIWS but the volley launched by the squadron (24 Air craft) caught most of the FOB by surprise. As the jets soared away the targets began to be hit. A communications engineer messing with a radar truck was instantly vaporized as the Payload connected with its target. Less than 700 meters away another payload made contact as an AA Vehicle was hit. A loud thunderous boom kicked up dirt and threw a few of the enemy on the ground. Almost immediately the crew started to bail as a loud whistling and cackling noise came from the inside of the vehicle. Within seconds the ammunition cooked off in a secondary explosion.

In the air the now defenseless Ni-117Cs hurried back towards Treko to rearm and refuel. Once the bay doors had been opened the enemy was able to spot them and scramble jets. Even after the bay doors closed the enemy had a good starting point of where to look. The original plan was that shortly after the attack Ka-35 interceptors would help get the Ni-117Cs back to Treko safely, unfortunately due to an error in planning meant that the Ni-117Cs would be on their own for at least 30 miles....

7th Tactical Missile Squadron

The wheat fields slowly swayed left and right with the blowing wind. The only thing interrupting a flowing sea of yellow was the fairly large BMV12’s scattered in the field. Behind them, roughly 2500 meters was the Operations Center tent, dining facility tent, and barracks tent. Some members of the BMV12 crew sat around playing cards and smoking while others wrote letters or enjoyed the music being played. A then from the 70’s, something every one could enjoy.

Inside the Operations tent Commanders stared at a map with unbroken concentration from the noise outside. A discussion was underway describing targets in various locations of South Stravel. It appeared that the BMV12 had an unholy grasp on South Stravel Airspace from their current deployment location. The 42nd Tactical Missile Squadron, another BMV12 asset in Operation Vanguard, was located just west of Damara. The 7th would focus on the FOB and the 42nd would help Trekkish Forces if need be, otherwise it was just a secondary location and direction from which to attack targets.

Inside the Operations Tent a Communications troop ran in handing the OIC a satellite phone. A brief pause as others began to take notice and the room went quiet... the OIC handed the phone back and looked at the other officers. ”Prepare the missiles, we attack in 10 minutes!” The other officers quickly rushed outside as a whistle was blown. “GREMO GREMO GREMO!” (Lets ago!) the order was barked like an echo as the crew members burst into life. The crew playing cards quickly ran as their makeshift table flipped and the cards were scattered on the ground. Another crew member grabbed his blouse and began to throw it on before rushing to his BMV12.

Once there he hopped in the cab and grabbed the T.O.

The OIC watched in the OPs Tent while checking his watch. Ten Minutes he grabbed his portable radio and gave the command ”Izstrelite se na moj znak... tri... dva... Izstrelitev!” within seconds the crew members remotely launched their missiles. The silence was shattered by a deafening roar as both dirt and wheat was kicked around and the ground began to tremble. Missile after missile all 24 BMV12s emptied their 12 launch tubes. When the dust had settled the crew members popped out of their SIPs shouting and cheering. With the officers signal supply trucks pulled forward to reload the launch tubes. ”Shit! I would hate to be at that FOB right about now! All that hate headed their way. Lights out!” The truck driver said with a big ol grin on his face.

North-South Stravene Border, NLFN

Taking What We Can

The interceptors sent to deal with the 24 Sjovenian Ni-117Cs came in range of their target and began to fire off missiles at thier targets, hits were confirmed but they knew they could not bite off more than they could chew, after firing their ordanance off, the interceptors pulled off back to protect the infantry on the ground currently under threat with no base to protect them. Even if the Anavokyans only took down 1 or 2 planes, this small skirmish in the air would have been a victory, but they knew they hit more than that, so it was definitely worth the trouble.

Crater

Image

The strike on the base was devastating but they could still pull a defence from this. The hole in the frontal defences was being plugged. Not just by new fortifications such as sandbags and barriers but by rubble from the rest of the base, some wrecked trucks were even pushed towards a destroyed flank defence with gaps filled in similarly to the front. A truck in reserves quickly came in with new ammunition as most of the base's supplies were destroyed. Troops and tanks were due to arrive but needed more time to get to the frontlines. The Anavokyans had built their defence back, now they would...

Reports came in about a second missile strike and a CDP force on their way. They could not deal with both now, they had to retreat and engage the CDP later. The shrieks of the rockets could be heard, they were coming in fast. Troops began to evacuate, running, driving as fast they could, perhaps they could make it- Boom. ...Fire, dirt, smoke. Half the surviving force had been killed. The base was well and truly gone now as it could not respond without any anti-air defences. It was merely a crater now. Luckily the reinforcements were on the way, makeshift defences would have to be built with the coming tide of CDP soldiers.

North-South Stravene Border, CDP

Overexcited

Image

The CDP force now heading towards the gap in the NLFN lines, made by the Sjovenians, was heading there as fast as possible. However, problems were arising. Stravene forces had vehicles suited for this terrain, Stravel's terrain. A land of grassy steppes. Their IFVs and tanks were low and fast trading armour for speed and space within the tank for a tank that was far less likely to be spotted on the flatlands, at least behind a small hill. The small amount of Anapol and Anaslovakian forces and their armour were built for the rugged terrain of their countries, better suited for static defence and using hills as well as their thick armour for defence. They were slower, carried more gear and had heavier weapons. The same divide could be applied to the infantry, even more so considering all three militaries used different service rifles and one of the three used different rounds for their weapons, two using 5.56 and one using 7.62 intermediate rounds.

The Stravene forces pushed in quickly and filled the gap, passing by the destroyed base and gaping at the corpses littered all over the ground, or rather parts of corpses. As soon as they moved around the base they were engaged by the tiny Anavokyan base remnants, made up mostly of infantry and lightly armed APCs that arrived just before to garrison the base with more soldiers. Taken by surprise, the rushing CDP forces took a devastating first strike from hidden Anavokyans with rocket launchers. The Anavokyans used Arcadian weapons taken from the armouries of the capitalist armies when the revolution took place, the weapons were high quality and packed a punch. Soon they began to open fire with their LMGs. Troops were ordered out of CDP transports and thrust into combat as they tried to crush the remaining FOB occupants and their small amount of reinforcements. The IFVs tore up any Anavokyans not in solid cover as they let rip on the ambushers. Surely this would be a quick and easy fight?

BANG! A CDP IFV blew up as a tank shell slammed into it. The Anavokyans had also sent reinforcements from another nearby FOB in addition to the rear line reinforcements. The Anavokyans now attacked the CDP troops from two fronts. CDP tanks turned their cannons and began to move as quickly as possible as the Arcadian AE-8b tanks with thick armour easily picked off troop transports as a tank battle began. Troops on both sides near the FOB began to fight for their lives as shells and bullets raged all around them. If the CDP had any hope of surviving this, they would need a miracle.

General Bozan Shuksin
Southern Army
Treko, Hanko

My headquarters was a cluster of reports, orders, and other miscellaneous items that at the moment meant little to me. Even the various officers that came in and out of the room were mere blank faces that all had a part to play in this war. The part that was bestowed upon me was a great one that weighed heavily on my shoulders. I was tasked with command and to lead the southern army against the communist of Anavokya. Not a minor task. Nonetheless, I will do my duty to the best of my abilities and If I were to fail then lay blame on solely on me. For there is no other willing than I to lay more down on the line for this grand nation which has stood the test of time. These communists were merely a small pebble in the road that Treko will smash underfoot. I am the shepherd who shall guide this nation on its journey to victory. However, this journey would not be an easy one for it seems that despite being part of the ASAF we have received no help from our grand ally of GRA. As of now, they were as useless as a fish out of water. My forces, as well as the CDP, had been fighting tooth and nail at the border trying to seize some form of foothold into the communist territory. It was even more recently that a pact was made with the CDP to combat the communist together on the Stravel Front. The High-Chancellor himself signed off on the order to deploy the Western Army of Treko to the CDP territory to assist in the war. Along with the Western Army, the CDP would also be receiving arms and equipment to make up for their losses at the start of the Anavokyan offensive. General Bogusław Koziol, an old friend of mine, was given command of the Western Army. Hopefully, the combined might of the CDP, Treko, and Slaveška could push through the line in Stravel. This, of course, would hopefully benefit me in the sense that the communist would move more forces to the west to deal with the breakthrough allowing my army to push further into Anavokya. Nonetheless, I would have to first divert the Anavokyan attention entirely to the Trekkish border. A full-scale attack would have to occur and we had been holding back for too long. I could easily instigate that from the Anavokyans, but I wanted to make a statement to these communist cockroaches. Abusing power was never my attention but I was tasked with ending this war anyway possible. If that means I must sink to the depths of depravity then I shall. Originally I was quite turned off from the idea but over time I grew to accept the option that would damn me for history. The targets had already been marked but it was no easy task to choose. I kept away from attacking the cities originally but one must strike at the heart of evil with evil... The targets that were chosen in the end were Orlek Naval Base, Drakon Military Base, and the capital city of Yetrograd. None would be spared from the wrath of the chemical weapon.

"Have the coordinates been confirmed for the chemical strike?" I inquired as I focused on the map which had red marks going through the city.

"Yes, Sir...Sir, are you sure this is the best course of action?" Asked Lieutenant Švec, his knuckles white from gripping his clipboard to tightly.

"I can't say, Lieutenant Švec. All I know is that it must be done," I replied, "Now I must pray for absolution."

Stravel Border

As the North Stravel Army pushed into South Stravel the ground shook and trembled. Engines roared to life as RPMs kicked up sending the armored beasts lurching forward. As news of the ground forces advancements quickly made its way through Chain of Commands, the Commanding General of the Slaveškan Air Force have the go ahead.

Shortly after the order was given the ground shaking was soon accompanied by a faint hum in the air. Accompanying the ground forces of the North Stravel Army was the MSAF Ni-64 attack helicopter. Waves of the helo’s dotted the sky as they made their way to the main spear head of the attack. From the Air the view of the attack was immense! Rounds being exchanged as IFVs slaughtered infantry troops. A round zipped across the battlefield before exploding sending a plume of smoke into the air as the internals of the IFV caught on fire.

Two Squadrons of the Ni-64s began to unleash hell on enemy vehicles. From the ground North Stravel armor continued advancing. In the Air Slaveškan Helicopters zoomed overhead missiles shrieking towards the enemy targets. The third Helicopter squadron made its way forward towards the South Stravel FOB recently struck by the BMV12 rockets. With very little Anti-Air support the troops were nothing but sitting ducks.

SFC Emerik Savo, 166th Armored Division
South Stravel

Savo adjusted his chin strap before placing his hand on the wall of the turret. The heavy tank rolled forward accompanied by Electronic Warfare vehicles, IFVs, and APCs. Before them was a hill and billowing plumes of smoke behind it. As the tank reached the crest of the hill the chaos was laid out before them.

Helicopters dotted the sky unleashing their payloads while the South Stravel Army attempted to push forward. “LETS GO BOYS!” Savo yelled into the headset as. His adrenaline surged and his heart began to pound. His eyes quickly scanned for an open target as the tank moved forward. “CONTACT LEFT!” He shouted as the driver maneuvered the tank into battle position. It was angled so that incoming rounds would deflect more easily.

Savo turned the turret and sized up the enemy IFV before determining the perfect spot to hit. The sound quickly deafened as he pulled the trigger sealing the IFVs fate. “Peltors work!” He said with a smile as the sound quickly came back to normal. The smell of spent shell filled Savo’s nostrils as he took a quick whiff before ejecting the shell and putting in the next round.

Imperial Forces Declare War on Anavokia as Tensions rise

Today Sevevill has declared war on the nation of Anavokia even during their ongoing battle in the UCSO. General Oyibo Talolc being placed in charge of operations of Sevevillian troops and hostilities in Dyaristan start to dwindle. Imperial soldiers mostly coming from USC will be tasked with de-throneing the communist regime currently in Anavokia. Although the public is starting to wonder if the Empire has bit off more than it can chew.

They were walking through a city. It was around 5:30 with the sun just peaking through the buildings. They walked with little resistance striding through the city center with small pockets of resistance from the small battle groups of soldiers they came across. They reached a ally. They stood against the wall and peaked around the corner. A bullet wizzed by his head five people were behind defenses shooting at the soldiers.

BRING UP THE TANK! he yelled back at them. As he said this the metallic sound of the tank moving could be heard coming from behind the line of soldiers who had been clearing buildings and pushing forwards slowly throughout the night. As the tank reached the front it turned its gun into the allyway and one of its cannons started its rhythmic fire. When it stopped no more bullets could be heard coming from the allyway. Only in the distance as more and more Imperial soldiers marched through the cities and towns. The small groups of Anavokian soldiers had tried everything to slow the advances of the Imperials but almost all had resulted in a failure. Most just resulting in more colateral damage to their own belongings. It would not be easy for long but they had to move quickly to get their footing in Anavokia.

Anavokya was silent. Horror had struck the nation. Sevevill had invaded from the east, pouring in on an unprotected border. The CDP had begun their offensive with the help of the Sjovenian Armed Forces and were pushing hard. Treko was pushing hard but being held... but no one thought this would happen. The conflict had barely started and Treko had authorised the deployment of capital weaponry. Yetrograd was shrouded in a cloud of chemical gas. It hit the city centre, killing tens of thousands, but the wind carried it and has affected the entire city, injuring hundreds of thousands and killing further thousands while they lay there, waiting for help that would come when it was far too late.

The largest metropolitan area in the Drejveskan region was now in shambles. Driven to halt. Silent and lifeless. Soldiers fighting on the frontline would soon find out that what they were fighting to protect was gone. In addition to the civilian target, military bases were also attacked. Fortunately, these bases were saved by early warnings, knowing that as a military target they may be attacked.Treko had struck a blow like no other, hoping to bring a quick end to the war, hoping that this would finally make the High Authority capitulate. However, the High Authority had also been caught in the attack on Yetrograd. The members dying while in session. Now the leadership of the nation has fallen to one woman; Zarla Kovort.

Making a speech to the nation, she had this to say:

"My fellow citizens, my brothers and sisters... I have lost my daughter this day. I have lost my husband. You have lost family too. You have lost friends... the previous leadership is dead and we are wandering in the dark, surrounded by wolves. Scavengers, looking for land. Sadists, who wish to make suffer. Power-hungry men who want subjugate us. They looked for a reason to attack us, and a few fringe extremists launched missiles to create a war that we did not want and now our invaders wish to grind us into dust.

We will not be subjugated, we will stand and fight not for what we have, but what we have left by the end of this invasion. Muster your courage, your pride, and all your strength. We will fight. We will die. And will win. They killed our families! We will not stoop to their level! We will fight them on the field and in the skies! But we will not advance on them! WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!"

The New Liberated Free Nations has found new resolve after the new Autarch's speech, and already the frontlines have been strengthened and fight like rabid brood mothers, giving all to defend their country.

The Battle of Levensk

The IFV blew up. Infantry scattered across the field, fighting with grenades, rockets and occasionally fighting one another with small arms. Many tried to flee but were cut down. As the helicopters destroyed tank after tank and began to home in on Anavokyan infantry, suddenly, the interceptors from earlier came in firing what few rockets they had left at the distracted helicopters, then looped about to begin firing on them with bullets. The CDP forces were being torn apart as they tried to communicate with each other and fight the highly organised Anavokyan forces, fighting with ever more fury and speed. They were holding though, with the help of the Sjovenians. Anavokyan Artillery from South Stravel was lined up and launched a salvo of missiles and shells towards targets in the battle. They began to land and destroy CDP and Sjovenian forces.

The Anavokyans would need to plug the gap if they were to hold the line, however, strikes from North Stravel would need to be nullified. Close Air Support was on the way to assist and the one and only squadron of stealth bombers were deployed to begin bombing military targets outside of Eunark. These bombers were a gift from Arcadia before the communist uprising help build up the Anavokyan military. They were merely gathering dust, now they would be put to the test.

Imperial Marins loaded into a SG-14 type small troop transport plane.

Sevevill wrote:Lt. Mark Conrad. 55th Infantry 6th Marines, three days after the assault of Anavokia.

President Joseph Henry, Imperial Building, Seve City, Sevevill

Today Sevevill formally invites nations Treko and Slaveška into the Southwest Bloc. Regaurding them as allies in the conflict in Anavokia as well as being fellow nations on the same continent as them. I hope the accept the offer as it would be a honor to have them as a ally in conflicts to come.

I will be treating this as an attack on a border town and an attack against LFN partisans, who have been equipped with Arcadian weaponry.

The attack from Sevevill was unexpected but there was no choice but to fight back. Sevevillians rarely took prisoners and had one of the best land armies in the region with tens of thousands of men to throw into wars to their deaths and still have more to keep fighting. However, these forces were not their best. The experienced and elite fighting forces were fighting on September Island in Operation Battleaxe. The LFN partisans were ordered to go to ground. They would wreak havoc behind Sevevillian lines while the mercenary companies would be sent to harass the advancing armies of Sevevill allowing a force of Anavokyans to be built and sent to the eastern front to fight the new threat. In the meantime, the small Anavokyan fleet was sent to the southern coast of the eastern front in order to further slow the enemy.

The Battle of Levensk

SFC Emerik Savo, 166th Armored Division, South Stravel

"MOVE MOVE MOVE" Emerik shouted as a buzzer went off. The driver quickly threw it in reverse as a shell narrowly missed the tank but exploded on the ground 10 feet from them. "WHERE THE FUCK IS OUR EWs?!" the gunner shouted after firing round after round at incoming enemy troops. The Rosko 42 Machine Gun unleashed so much hate as troops were cut down left and right.

In the sky above a helicopter spun out of control spouting flames and a trail of smoke. Behind it an enemy jet zoomed by banking right. Another helicopter flared out as more missiles came towards it, the flares came out just in time as the helicopter did an evasive maneuver.

As if to answer the machine gunners prayers Electronic Warfare vehicles and Anti Aircraft tracked vehicles appeared over the ridge spaced just slightly behind the tanks. Smoked popped out covering the tanks in a shield of smoke as they began to pull back. The gunner looked confused "why are we pulling back?! The fight is in front of us!" Emerik responded "Can't have friendly fire..."

Artillery rounds began firing at the second wave of enemies as BMV12 rockets decimated what was behind. The shrieks of rockets and thunderous explosions of both the rocket and artillery rounds deafened those on the ground. The enemy planes noticed the pull back and came in for a secondary attack.

5th, 44th, and 120th Fighter Squadrons
Novazni Air Base, Volja District, Slaveska

Ka-35s rumbled down the flight line one after the other. The Interceptor air craft were on their way to provide support for the initial South Travel Invasion. Accompanying the two Ka-35 squadrons was a Go-3A Squadron both with separate missions. The Ka-35s were going to intercept enemy aircraft while the Go-3A's corresponded with members of the Special Air Squadron on the ground to accurately take out targets and provide close air support. Rumor was that Ni-10's would also be scrambled in support of close air support but they would need time.

Postby The Kingdom of Rhamos » Sat Dec 14, 2019 1:26 am

Massaging the sides of his head, General Arroyo stared down at the pictures splayed out in front of him on his staff table. The CDP/NLFN war was an abysmal mess of jockeying states throwing troops at each other, a quagmire through and through, and he was being thrown into it. He couldn't help but feel a headache coming and excused himself while he stepped out side into crisp cool night air.

An armored officer by trade the prospect of tank battles offered by the conflict should have excited him, at least it would have in his younger years. Now stuck behind a desk pushing papers he could only feel disdain for the craft he once called his own. The gluttonous armored hulls sucking down fuel and parts like a pig through scraps with the paper trails following them only succeeding in graying his hair even more. He could only inhale deeply of the fresh sea breeze and ponder on how he had fucked up his lifes choices to bring him to this spot before he finally went back inside.

The Kingdom of Rhamos had sensed blood in the water when Chemical weapons had been unleashed and now looked to pounce upon the chance to join the fray. Arroyo could smell the fuckery of the nobles as they looked to expand their power onto a new continent, plain and simple. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already extended an invitation of military assistance to the NLFN and he was left to plan out what exactly that would be. He had after all been given a rather ambiguous set of political and strategic goals with which to use as guidelines; never really a good sign if he was honest with himself.

Around him his staff was hurriedly working at a frenzied pace drawing up logistical and movement plans as well as coordinating unit mobilization. Last minute notices tended to really throw a wrench in timetables like that especially considering the time they needed it completed by. Not that it mattered much as without permission from the Anavokyan's first he had nowhere to even send troops too.

Already calls were being made to relevant Anavokyan military authorities and politicians asking for use of a major airfield near the coast to set up and use as a forward staging area. This would be utilized for QRF elements to be rushed over by air to conduct preparation and shaping ops for follow on forces. Secondly access to Orlek Naval base was requested for the actual elements of the Rhamosian expeditionary forces to disembark at once they were mobilized.

Arroyo's staff as well as the elements from the other Rhamosian military branches also started contacting their Anavokyan counterparts to set up deconfliction and coordination lines. The hope was to allow Rhamosian troops to seamlessly transition into the AO with minimal conflicting from the locals to bring the Op tempo up to speed as fast as possible.

Regardless of planning even the units on the highest operational readiness though would still take at a minimum 24 hours before they could be in theater. Arroyo roughly gauged that with a round clock airlift he could probably have a battalion sized element in country within 72 hours and roughly a brigade by the end of the week. It would however though have to be one of those composite reaction brigades the brass touted as the answer to Rhamos' future warfare requirements.

He didn't exactly have faith the concept since it didnt exactly give him the ability to conduct decisive maneuvers, but it could be airlifted in a hurry at the very least. Taking into consideration how the current battles already under way were going, it could at least plug any gaps if push came to shove. None the less he prioritized getting an armored company into theater as soon as possible right after theater missile defenses to prevent future CBRN attacks. Something he hoped the navy would be able to help out with.

Arroyo's counterparts in the airforce where hurriedly at work prepping their piece of the Rhamos intervention in the conflict.

Already MI analyst were coming over satellite reconnaissance photos, sigint, and humint resources in order to determine what exactly system had been used to deploy chemical weapons. They also looked for who was involved in the decision making process and most importantly what sites were used to launch them from. A small dossier was already beginning to take shape and was being used to formulate strike packages and operational needs for silencing the threat in theater.

The information was forwarded to the Anakovyans as a gesture of goodwill and it was optimistically hoped they could launch their own retaliatory strikes. If this wasn't the case however, the Rhamosian airforce was fully capable and willing to conduct the strikes on their behalf if given the go ahead.

A small Sea Control Task Force in the general direction/vicinity of Anakovyan was directed to make sail for the country in order to provide a hasty theater missile defense utilizing the fleets assets to prevent further chemical attacks. They would reach Anakovyan territorial waters within 36 hours and consist of a Guided Missile Cruiser, a Flight Deck Destroyer, and their corvette escorts. They could also help provide coastal defense to Anakovyan, and conduct precision strike missions should the need arise

Chiara paced around her desk. Her bath robe pulled tight around her slim frame and her wet black hair wrapped in a towel. Every so often she would stare daggers at the man seated and relaxed in the leather chair across from her.

Zarhadian General Caleb was a modest looking man, bulky build, and white streak of hair along the right side of his head. A gift from hang fire, on one of his HIMARS. At the Age of 36, Caleb had became the youngest person to reach the rank of General, with in the Brotherhood of Zarhadian, an organization of knights made up solely of Artillery personal. One of three officially recognized in the Empire. The other being the ORDER OF THE PENGUIN KNIGHTHOOD, and the VALKYRIE SISTERHOOD. To which Chiara was head of both.

"Brother Caleb." Chiara began. Finally tired of his eyes looking her over. "You summon me here, at this hour, over a matter that we have already spoke of." She sent a look of revulsion towards Caleb, as he rolled his eyes.

"My Lady Chiara." Caleb figured he would sweeten his words, or risk the dagger he knew Chiara hid under her robe. "As you are aware, the latest Chemical attack, by the CDP allied forces, has finally tipped the High Queen into attacking." He glanced down at the documents on the her desk. "She wants this matter to be handled."

Chiara, finally taking her seat behind her desk, looked over the documents again. "Says here, our counterparts in Rhamos are also looking to take action... Hmmm. Maybe more"

"Yes My lady" Caleb replied, a little dishearten about his lack of view of Chiara's long legs.

"I don't want to commit a ton of forces." She said, looking up from the papers and into the eyes of Caleb. "Has the Queen already sent her request for aid?"

"Yes my lady. A request to the Anavokyan leadership has been sent, about military aid, and use of airfields and naval ports."

"Perfect" She stated, as she let her hair out of the towel, and began to dry it. "Send a request to Rhamos. Ask for a joint venture. We'll supply a supporting force. I take it, you want to deploy for your Jobaria, which is the reason you came to me." She pulled a comb from her desk, and began to work at the knots in her hair.

Caleb shifted in his chair. He knew her order had the resources at hand, to deploy on their own. To where his order was solely focused on Artillery support, and needed the support of others to get to and from the fields.

"Why yes, my lady. I figured my order could supply you with the needed support, for such an operation." He knew, she would not need it, but playing his trump card, the Jobaria, a unit only his order had, may persuade her, to let his order join in.

"Very well." She said. "The High Queen wants the Knights on this mission. But we have a good amount of our forces deployed to the Middle East, taking actions against terrorist in the area." She put her comb down and picked up a mirror. "To bad we don't have an Order of tanks. A specialized order of tankers would be nice... Maybe Rhamos has such and Order." She placed the mirror down and locked eyes with Caleb. "Fine. Get the needed units ready. I already have 24 hour rapid forces at the ready. Transport jets are fueled and ready at all time. Get your HIMARS ready. we'll take them first. A naval transport can be made ready for your... Jobaria's with a few days. Once the OK is sent, we'll be deploying. I'll be taking a task force of my sisters with me, I take it you also want to join on the ground right?" She accepted his small smile as a yes.

"Perfect. Just make sure your tent is a s far away from mine. I know how you Artillery guys get on deployment. I don't want to have to kill my own forces." She said, as she pulled her dagger out and throw it past his face.

"Caleb kept a cool look on his face. This was not the first time she had done sure a thing. "Even if I can't see you my Lady, does not mean I won't hit my target. It is the way of my people... What was the saying of my order again... On the Minute, De...." Another dagger flew past his head.

"You will leave my office now, and make ready to deploy."

Request for immediate military support and access:

To the leadership of the NLFN. A formal Request for Military access, is request by the Jovepenia (JVP) Empire. The use of Chemical weapons can not go unwarranted, and we will not let such an injustice stand. We request an immediate reply, so forces can be on their way.

-JVP High Military command

From the Desk of the Knight Commander Chiara, to the Rhamos Military command:

A simple request for a joint military venture, against a common target. :The request ends with a V, the has a tank, MLRS, and jet:

City of Denethier, Raltirian Denethier

The subject of intervention in the conflict raging in Markion was a subject of some debate in the assembly as well as in the Supreme Counselor's own cabinet. The first concern was, as usual, the rise of a new Bolshevist movement in the Liberated Free Nations led by Anavokya. Politics in Denethier saw a rising call by old hardliners to counter the spread of communism overseas, one which was joined by those hoping to construct greater partnerships in new regions of the world in pursuit of a strengthened geopolitical position that would give Denethier the strength to better stand against the UPC in the north of Aels. The situation, however, was complicated by the sudden and unexpected use of chemical weapons by the forces of the United Federation of Treko. The conflict, already an extremely violent affair, was only escalated by the use of chemical agents against civilian targets in addition to the military targets selected for the attack.

However, the use of chemical weapons meant that the entirety of the effect would be focused on humans and living creatures. Military facilities and infrastructure would survive unscathed, barring a bit of cleaning. The worst damage was done to the populations living in those areas, and this reckless move against civilian centers, doing the most harm to civilian inhabitants, drew the ire of the Denethrien state. This, the Supreme Counselor saw as a chance to combat the tides of Marxism by showcasing the power and compassion of the free world. Denethier would not be moving to carve a fiery path through the heart of Anavokya just yet, or through its allies. Rather, Denethier would offer safety and stability to those residents caught in the crossfire of the new regime's wars of conquest.

To the end, the foreign ministry was ordered to immediately begin drafting a request to the governments of the NLFN for permission to deploy ground troops and supporting air forces to the region into LFN territory, beginning with a landing of one marine brigade at the Anaslovakian capital city of Travestapol to assist with the establishment of a base of operations in the local area. Forces slated to follow behind will comprise two corps, each of three field divisions with possible attached brigades plus supporting brigades and one airborne brigade per corps. These airborne brigades, if given clearance to deploy, will begin arriving in-theater alongside the marines at Travestapol to begin preparing airfields to receive further personnel and materiel for these two corps. A third corps is also to begin assembling for deployment, but will not be sent immediately.

During this initial phase, meaningful Denethrien ground forces in LFN territory would involve one brigade of marines and two brigades of airborne troops plus two independent CBRN battalions to move from Travestapol to areas affected by chemical weapons use. Travestapol was seen as a useful starting point because of its status as a major coastal city, likely with extensive port facilities for disembarking vehicles and equipment, while also remaining untouched by chemical strikes. As the first two corps arrive, their organic CBRN formations will also begin providing services to stricken areas in an attempt to accelerate cleanup of persistent chemical residues. Military police units from both corps will assist in maintaining law and order, while combat elements will provide security and defense from advancing forces of the Federation of Treko.

Denethrien Expeditionary Forces-Markion

The first forces to be deployed were naval units operating around a pair of aircraft carriers including one nuclear-powered fleet carrier and another, smaller helicopter carrier to assist in patrol duties, particularly in anti-submarine warfare operations. The main object of the operation was to conduct punitive naval action against the forces of the Federation of Treko, but the first task of the naval warfare group would be to assist in the deployment of ground forces to the coast. However, both of the expeditionary fleet's SSGNs and three of its SSNs were to be deployed to patrol the waters north of Treko. They would not engage until given appropriate instructions to do so, but some preparation would be needed to monitor naval activity by Treko's fleet.

Raltirian Denethier wrote:City of Denethier, Raltirian Denethier

Yetrograd Presidential Bunker
Autarch Zarla Kovort

They just won't stop. They'll keep attacking no matter fucking what... and now? Aid from monarchists? So strange this world, the High Authority thought their claims of conquest just and that occupying the countries of Drejveska would bring about a golden age while others carried out ethnic cleansing. The Trekkish believed themselves righteous in deploying a WMD? Perhaps they thought we were to capitulate? If I'd done that the people would have revolted against me, I want nothing more than this war to be over but the people are angry and desire revenge. The Trekkish even managed to turn some of those who originally fought us against them, funny how that worked out. A defensive war should feed their thirst for blood, but at what cost? Why I ask myself these questions and expect an answer is beyond me...

I will have to accept aid from these nations, this may allow me to change the High Authority's original policies to something less extreme, I've gotten this far pretending I'm a hardline communist, I must be careful how I tread and do this. My own people could turn on me if I try anything too radical at the moment. At very least we can come out of this as a dictatorial socialist state and hope for growth towards a proportional democracy later, for now, I've just got to go with it and hope for the best. These new supporters should happily think it was their idea to bring us around to their way of thinking. Everyone wins.

Zarla finished approving the requests of Rhamos, encouraging them to make their own strikes as Anavokyan forces were stretched thin trying to defend from the Sevevillian Empire as well as the CDP and their allies. Moving on to approve the JVP's requests, Zarla found that it was also just as easy to accept their terms and make the necessary arrangements, although the talk of Knights puzzled her briefly. Lastly The Denethrien request. So many had come to help, Zarla was surprised...

All I need to do is hold them off, if we can survive I can turn this all around in the end... I will need to speak to all of the forces' superiors.

Raltirian Denetheir's request was approved. As that was finished she then made her own requests to talk with the relevant commanders of their respective forces.

I'll make a better world, one that my family would have been proud of...

Her hand trembled as she tried to hide her tears from an empty room.

The Battle of Levensk

The fields barely resembled what they once were. Dirt and craters along with scrap and bodies littered the ground. There was little that remained of Anavokyans. They retreated, pulling back what was left. Some CDP soldiers were caught in the crossfire but few cared or even noticed as their enemy was running from them. The CDP pushed against the fleeing Anavokyans. A few miles had been travelled when they began to see the second line of bases set up to support the first. Soon they were beset by fire from the base. Then fire from the left flank. And then fire from the right flank. Soon after helicopters from the bases began to attack from the air as well. It was a trap.

The poor preparation and communication between forces had led to a build of forces coming from behind, almost entirely blocking a full-fledged retreat without going further towards the enemy fire. Troops riding tanks were cut down, tanks themselves blew up blocked the path forward here and there further creating confusion and slowness allowing more targets to be hit. It was a slaughter.

Meanwhile, the full squadron of Anavokyan stealth bombers had nearly reached their target at Eunark but were then redirected to Sjovenian ground forces. Quickly, they began deploying their payload against the unsuspecting troops below.

War in the East

Made with permission from the Empire of Sevevill

Sevevill had made a strong first attack, but their invasion was effectively slowed. Sevevillian supply lines were being cut off here and there, the LFN partisans were experts at guerrilla warfare after years of occupation by the Sevevillians, the only difference being that now they had a true supporter and plenty of supplies to fight back against their imperial overlords. This combined with the mercenary forces using hit and run tactics against advancing imperial forces, never truly engaging. Hitting a few tanks with powerful AT rockets then fleeing. Gunning down a squad of imperial infantry then finding a new ambush point while booby-trapping the previous one. It wasn't going to destroy the enemy army but it would slow them down and weaken morale, although, Sevevillian morale was notoriously hard to break unless they were provincial defence forces. The Anavokyan navy had perhaps done the least work but had been none the least effective. Making a few surgical strikes with cruise missiles and helicopters, the navy has effectively destroyed the largest amount of imperial troops.

An Anavokyan detachment has finally been put together and is now en route to support the mercenaries currently holding the line. The Sevevillians continue to push and destroy all those in their path, whether they be civilian or military targets.

The Empire had to be stopped.

Sergeant Cvijetin Krsmanović
Western Army of Treko
Northern Stravel

As the train pulled into the depot I looked at the massive logistical challenge that was before me. Troops from prior train arrivals were being put into formation then marched off towards another collection point, supplies for the war effort were constantly being offloaded from trains and put in a designated area, even armored vehicles had their own designated area. No wonder this deployment to Stravel took so long to get off the ground. The government was essentially sending the entirety of the Western Trekkish Army to help the CDP and Slaveska push through the defenses of Anavokya in Stravel. As I continued to look over the mass of armed forces I felt the train come to a slow crawl before finally stopping with one last lurch forward. I rose from my seat and grabbed my gear from the overhead bin before I made my way down the aisle before disembarking the train. Almost instantly orders were being shouted at us as we were being directed towards the mass formation of troops that I had seen earlier. Without complaints, I merely followed the man in front of me to the designated formation area. Despite the mass amount of men of women in formation, it was rather quiet or rather any talking was drowned out by the constant machinery that was moving supplies, weapons, and vehicles. The officer near the front of the formation had to scream at the top of his lungs for us to even hear him in the back. Even then I still couldn't hear him.

"Can you understand what this guy is saying, Sergeant Krsmanović?" asked Perov, a subordinate that was in my squad, "I think only the people in the front row can hear him,"

"Cpl. Belinsky, if you can't hear them then what makes you think I can hear him?" I replied as I gave a quick glance at Perov before looking forward.

"You would think they would give him a megaphone or something," Perov said aloud

"Belinsky, you should just shut your mouth," interrupted Zdrojewski who looked visibly annoyed with Perov, "It's obvious the officer is just giving words of encouragement."

"Words of encouragement?"

"Yes, words of encouragement, Belinsky," I said with a sigh, "We're going to the front lines in Southern Stravel to reinforce the CDP and Slaveska,"

I don't know how long we stood in formation but as time passed it became evident that our group was slowly moving to the front. It was certainly boring waiting for our time to come but with Cpl. Belinsky finally shutting up there was peace from his yammering. Nonetheless, when our turn came we geared up and made our way to the collection point. It was at the collection point that we saw the next phase. Troops were being loaded up into trucks, APCs, and IFVs. Even the CDP was there collecting arms and munitions which was promised by our government. In the process of loading up into an APC with my squad, I heard the scream of jet overhead before it disappeared into the distance. I gave one final deep breath of the cold air before entering the APC and closing the doors behind.

THE GRAND IMPERIAL ASSEMBLY

It is with our intentions that we, senators and representatives of our respected provinces, unanimously voted to agree to declare war on the New Liberated Free Nations and its supporters. We did not want to use this option but for the sake of the stability of the region and its respected people, we were left with no choice other than to intervene in this matter to end the war quickly as possible. We will help our allies to prevent the spread of communism, retake the territories they lost and help the people that suffered from this great tragedy.
- Head of the Assembly, Ivan Raze, Dec 28th 20XX.

As the spearhead force arrived at the airport in North Stravel, the main forces arrived at the border getting ready to cross into one of the coalition defense pact nation up north. Arrived at the airport is Major General Assan Fata Akkhan, the commander of the unit that suppose to help the allies in advance before the main forces arrived, also arrived are some armored vehicles and tanks. They wait at a small section of the airport for commands to attack the enemy.

Ferris Air Fields, Luar, Aels

Seconds after the declaration from Knight Commander Chiara, then was the air lift base a buzz with activity. Deployment of the first stage would be sent by air, a fairly fast way to get the spearhead of the JVP forces into country. The Air field laid claim to being the JVP's best air lift wing. Boasting 6 of her 12 Y-20, long-range Air transports. The biggest air carrier in service to the JVP. All 6 would see action over the next few days, as they shuttled troops, equipment and supplies to the combat zone. Though more focused on carrying the two companies of the Brotherhood of Zarhadian HIMARS and pallets of pods.

To aid in the lift, several IJ-214 Multirole Transports, several Airbus A330 MRTT, both the Troop carrier and the Refueling variants. The A330, would be the primary carrier of the three activated QRF units of the knight order, numbering close to 3000, and would be flown out in waves over the night. The Personal from the Zarhadian Brotherhood, would ride in the Y-20 carrying their M142s.

Zyu-Troop transports, and other light APCs would make their way over in the first and second waves.

Chiara, who after her quick meeting with the High Queen, made her way to Seoul Air base, where she would meet with her units of Valkyries and make way for Travestapol, which she wished to use as the staging area for the JVP forces in country, before moving to a more northern area, to provide support for other allied forces moving into country.

Eric Hope Naval Base

Cargo transports, had began the slow task of lining up on docks, to begin receiving heavy equipment and supplies. Since most of the ground personal would be flown over, this meant that most of the troop carriers could be sidelined. As per General Caleb's orders, The Jobaria's were pulled from their staging areas, and moved to EHNB. Being a large truck and trailer, it would take some time to the get the 8 systems down to the naval port and load onto the ships waiting.

An escort task force was being pulled together to provide protection for the large convoy. consisting of two Henderson Light carriers, a sisterhood of Sejong the Great's (5), and a sisterhood of Wang Geon (5). They would be met at sea but a scouting force of Submarines and, and Anti-Submarine Destroyers.

Regional Seas

To provide heavier firepower in the area. A naval Task force, already close to the Regional Seas area. Was redirected to Anavonkyan, with plans to provide an air escort for the incoming cargo jets. The Task force was made up of 3 Henderson Light Carriers, and one of her larger sister ships in the Webber Super Carrier. Flanked by her escorts of six Destroyers and 3 Submarines. the Task force numbered a total of thirteen ships.

Present time

With the go ahead to deploy forces into Anavonkyan, jets, already on the runway, began to take off in a swarm, claim to combat altitude, and form up. Escort fighters and AWACs, took off from local airfields to provide protection for the leg of the trip. The fighters would head back, once they made contact with the escort force from the Webber task force, head back, refuel, and then provide escort for every other flight of transports. At some point, they would provide return escort, for transports on their way back to the JVP to fill up with my equipment and supplies.

On the deck of the Michael Webber, the first ship of the Webber class, three JA-15's took off, following an aircraft being flanked by three JA-15LR.

"Green 47, Green 47. This is Penguin 6. Requesting promise to take of escort."

"Penguin 6, this is Green 47. Copy request. Begin return home"

"Copy that Green 47. Safe travel, and may the High Queen protect."

The three JA-15LR, dipped their noses down, broke from their formation, as their replacements quickly took their spots.

"Penguin 7, this is Green 47. I leave the protection of the Jewel in your hands. I'll see you on the other side."

the JA-15LR's broke right as they circled back towards the carriers, and shot back, looking to meet up with a refuel jet, before heading back the JVP.

"Liner 3671. This is Penguin Leader. We'll be escorting you the rest of the way to Anavokyan. Tell our lady to rest up."

"Copy that Penguin leader. We are in your care."

The Pilot looked over at Chiara. "Won't be long now ma'am. We should touch down with in the next two hours."

Chiara smiled, as she looked over the reports flooding from her transports. "This was a great under taking. To deploy so first. But seems the first jets should touch down not to long after we arrive." She said, handing the tablet over to Caleb.

"Ah yes. Won't be long now, till St. Barbara blesses my order, with the honor of crushing those that wishes to use her divine delivery systems, to kill the innocent." Caleb pullout out a pendent on his neck and kissed it. "Great Martyr Barbara, please bless us, your humble servants..." Chiara watched on as Caleb gave his small pray.

"I worry about your order, and it's worship of a saint from the Catholic faith." She narrowed her eyes. "I'm pretty sure, you should not make her into your god."

"The Lady see's that our rounds land true, and that those of the enemy do not reach their target. In the world of Artillery, she is our god." Caleb said, as he looked over the reports on the tablet.

::Travastapol Airport. This is flight 3671, of the Royal JVP Airlines. Requesting permission to land, and begin operations. over.::

OOC Note: it will be a few posts before I am able to get fully involved due to the roundabout way I am taking to get involved.

Markion Union Security Council Meeting

It had been some time since Marie-Claude Chapelle had last been to a Security Council Meeting, as everyone had been focused on the increasing scope of the Second Oceanian-Sevevillian War. “What a pointless waste of lives.” She thought. But as that conflict seemed to be nearing resolution, it was time to turn to other matters. The conflict in Anavokya had boiled over while the conflict in Oceania was at the forefront. Since then the Coalition Defence Pact and its allies had made little progress, and the conflict seemed to be in a stalemate. Until Treko launched a chemical strike on the Anavokyan capital and two large military installations, killing tens of thousands and maiming thousands more. And thus Marie-Claude Chapelle had been sent to the MU, armed with a resolution to attempt to stem the brutality. And to hopefully prevent further atrocities from occurring.

1. Demands that all parties and others concerned treat Brovelik, Oteroviko, and Yetrograd and their surroundings as safe areas which should be free from any armed attack or any other hostile act;
2. Demands that these safe areas be treated as demilitarized zones by all parties.
3. Demands also to that effect the immediate cessation of armed attacks by units of United Federation of Treko against Yetrograd;
4. Reaffirms that the deployment and use of chemical weaponry, is unlawful and unacceptable; (The Gothenburg Accords)
5. Condemns the deliberate targeting of the civilian population in and around Yetrograd and rejects the deliberate use of chemical weaponry by the United Federation of Treko to force the capitulation of Anavokya;
6. Authorizes the establishment of Markion Union Force in Anavokya (MUFA)
7. Authorizes the use of force by MUFA for self-defense and to defend established safe zones from any armed attack.
8. Authorizes MUFA to investigate all reported War Crimes in the area of operation.
9. Authorizes MUFA to gather and prepare evidence of War Crimes for prosecution by MU tribunal.

“The Republic of Ameria & Stannenbourg would like to open the floor to debate on Resolution 003. if there is no debate, we would like to proceed with a floor vote.” She said.

The timely news from Anakovyan was received positively as it would help keep the Rhamosian time tables on track at least from that perspective. However, the herculean task of moving men and machine across the seas was still a daunting one none the less with many variables still in play.

In order to meet MTOE requirements, the units making up the reaction force had to requisition vehicles from sister companies in order to deploy at full strength. The flurry of paper work that accompanied such a task was both rushed and daunting, no doubt mistakes were going to be made but that could be hammered out later. What mattered was the timing as already flights were being loaded up and shipped out to the Anaykovan Airport across the sea.

An advance party of officers and enlisted soldiers drawn from several units was already in route to plan out basing requirements, establish a coordination center for working with the host nation, and liaison with Anaykovan forces. General Arroyo had left operations in the hands of his executive officer temporarily as he hurried to catch a flight to Arroyo in order to meet with their leadership and no doubt assuage any fears about Rhamosian commitment and actions in country.
------

With permission granted from the Anaykovians to conduct retaliatory strikes against the Trekkish missile sites, the Airforce begin hurried preparations to carry out the task. The dossier of collected information complied from sigint and satellite recon had given them a relatively good idea where the chemical attack had been carried out from and would be the basis for this first mission. The Rhamosian military attache in Denether informed his counterparts of the planned strike of they wished to participate as well.

Built upon the same principles as the F-111 Aardvark, the F/B-119 Hawk-Owl was a further refinement of the concept. Incorporating more modern electronic and avionic architecture and stealthy design features the Hawk-Owl was meant to be the pinnacle of the deep penetration tactical bomber concept. 4 of these aircraft would be Rhamos' initial opening gesture to Trecko signifying that any further actions from chemical weapons would not be tolerated from the international community. The four craft were loaded just short of their full bomb load at 30 SDBs to help with the length of the trip and would be refueling mid way to and from their destination. A formal declaration of intention was sent to Trecko as the four aircraft rocketed down the runway and into the sky, explaining Rhamos's intent to intervene in the conflict against them to bring those responsible to justice.

It was hoped that this surgical strike would cripple be able to cripple any further means of conducting CBRN attacks by Trecko. However, the range of the operation and the density of the airspace meant a large margin for failure was still present.
------
International Waters

While still 20 hours out, the situation on Anaykovans Eastern flank was becoming an increasing concern. What Intelligence that could be gained from media and Signit indicated that despite an intense insurgent campaign Anaykovan had yet to mount a conventional defense of the area.

The Sevevillians most dangerous and likely course of action could only be concluded as a deep penetration thrust into the Anaykovan interior. Allowing them to disrupt lines of communication and command as well as cutting of the Anaykovian/Trecko front for envelopment.

With this in mind it was decided to start conducting shaping operations of that front as soon as possible despite the risk involved from a lack of intelligence. Several teams embarked on the task force would be deployed into the Eastern front via air in order to start conducting reconnaissance. Secondary to this they would be acting as embedded JTAC for the insurgents to allow them to coordinate air and artillery strikes against the Sevevillians.

These teams would consist of members from the Colonial Maritime Raid Force as well as Frontier Reconnaissance and Interdiction Detachments both of which specialized in this area. It would take several flights from the fleets resupply craft to move them all into country, but the first boots would be on the ground within several hours after which they would begin making their way behind enemy lines.
