Good idea, but we're in a ceasefire with Catigula. Maybe you could join the Peninsular Alliance.

Today letters of mobilization were found in the mailboxes and notice boards of many towns and villages, along with this orders of increasing the army to 45-65 million men, increasing the navy by 120 ships, orders to fully fund the airforce to its maximum potential, and orders to increase funding on all branches of military and projects have been found. But many here in Fridigus and even across the empire are asking Why? No war has been declared on any nation and Alpes hasn't even been in a major war to warrant all these things in about 30 years. No one actually even knows who called the orders with the parliament having been silent for a long time and the emperor on safari in the West and Equatorial African colonies

But Alpes has been preparing and Modernizing its military for a long time with the once fledging airforce now having hundreds of bases and thousands of planes. In the Navy, there are planned classes of all ships with there being 5 advanced cruisers currently in development and production. And the army has now a large armored corps and is beginning its mechanized core. -Fridigus Amnis Post, the largest newspaper in Alpes

The Peninsular Alliance gives all Catigulan occupied land back to Catigula and moves some troops to guard East Kekistan.

The Peninsular Alliance guards Kekistan with a minimal amount of troops and brings their DEFCON down to 3, which means they are still partially mobilized but not fully.

*five years pass*

Catigula has been building up her troops (When I say "her," I'm referring to the nation, when I say "him," I'm referring to His Holiness) for the past five years. They now are at an unprecedented level of power. Secret military satellites have been launched, some with nuclear weapons (in blatant violation of the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, but who cares?). With her robot armies suitably beefed up, Catigula secretly prepares a surprise attack on multiple nations.

Meanwhile, Nouvelle-Floride has been annexed by Catigula as a new overseas territory. A percentage of robots have been sent their to maintain law and order as well as defend from potential attacks.

A new superweapon is also being constructed. It will be even more powerful than Project Ra.

It shall be called Project Thanatos.

New Cabo Azul watches closely. Catigula is acting suspiciously despite the ceasefire.

I don't want to get involved in this conflict. I don't have a military anyway.

New Cabo Azul is neutral.

All of a sudden, the uneasy peace breaks.

Catigula has found the perfect target for an invasion: the small, weak, neutral nation of New Cabo Azul. A blitzkrieg is launched into New Cabo Azul with 30,000 HS 2s.

As Catigula's troops smash through the New Cabo Azulean countryside, police are called in to serve as a de facto military. They fight bravely, but are no match for Catigula's robots. An unconditional surrender is declared as the robots enter Bagginstadt after just three days of fighting.

New Cabo Azul is now under Catigulan occupation.

With New Cabo Azul swiftly knocked out of the war, Catigula's troops prepare for a brutal offensive on the Peninsular Alliance.

(I should have made this clear at the beginning, but we have limited access to space except for a couple of weapon satellites. In the OverSimplified for this war, nations are portrayed as different landmasses. Since Catigula cannot launch an attack on another star system, it would be nice if you could have a piece of Earth instead to invade. Otherwise, victory is impossible for me.)

The Peninsular Alliance will each colonize most of Asia. On Earth, there is also Krakatoia, Phillipa and Ukraina, the latter two being superpowers of Europe (though not as much as Russia) and the former being a superpower of South America.

Witnessing the Peninsular conquest of much of Asia, Catigula takes Europe, North Africa, and North America. These nations either join voluntarily or are forcibly conquered. Catigula prepares for an offensive at the Ural Mountains.

The person then salutes, then leaves the room.

President: What the hell are you planning Catigula?

Catigula's WMD satellites Pisces VI, Glory of Catigula II, and Jebediah XIV orbit silently overhead, ready to bomb most anywhere on Earth in a moment's notice.

An underground resistance faction struggles to liberate NCA from Catigulan tyranny. Agents have attempted to destroy Catigulan robots with bombs and the like, but they appear to be evolving by themselves. One cannot help but notice that they are noticeably stronger then before.

A small number of space navy divisions pop up above New Cabo Azul with armed plasma bombs just in case the ceasefire with Catigula breaks to help the underground resistance movements.

After staying out of the later part of the conflict, the DMSG has decided to return to the conflict to help the war effort against Catigula, Naval divisions attempt to liberate occupied areas, 10,000,000 soldiers wait for the next movements, naval invasions are planned and the motivation of the population/military has grown to extreme levels. Thermo bombs are used in the coastal attacks on Catigulan North America for the first part of a secret operation that should work in helping the Peninsular Alliance. Many areas are wiped to dust.

Trinadaed, a universe away, begins making plans for a D-Day invasion starting from Argentina and moving north swiftly. They plan to use about 300 billion troops (90 SSF, 60 Chibby, 100 Flirgle, 20 Frug, 40 GSC, 30 Flitt, and three hundred thousand Trinadaedia) to overwhelm the Catigulan robots and destroy them, and also bring plasma anti-aircraft, tanks, artillery, naval craft, air craft and even a very large space force to aid the invasion. Note this is a universe away.

Anti-WMDs craft have been built in places all throughout Asia but not stationed as of yet.
