They roared with energy as a woman, wearing a yellow band with a Jewish star on, was brought forward and placed into a guillotine, her eyes filled with fear, unable to comprehend her situation.

Jeremy Vixen, one of the Furher's advisors, put on his glasses, pushing aside some of his bouncy brown hair as he did. He then began to read out the woman's crime, of murdering advisor Arthur Briggs, whose death by then had hopefully circulated across the world after his body was found. He then allowed her some final words, but she was in too much shock to speak.

The crowd grew anxious, waiting for the moment that would end her life. As Jeremy gave the signal, the guillotine dropped, and the crowd cheered as her head rolled off the stage. One person at the front lifted the head up to the cameras, and more cheers could be heard. This was not a truly clean death, this was meant to scare the Jews.

Backing this feeling up, came the final sentence from Jeremy.

"Let this be a lesson to all Jews. Any attempt to oppose us, and we will defend ourselves!" Heil Shining!"

Emperor Frank Damon looked over the documents once more, sighing as he leaned back in his big leather chair, brushing his hands through his long, greying hair. This job was so stressful sometimes. A knock was then heard on the large wooden door, and his advisor, Lucy Vermont, walked in, her long ginger hair swaying as she walked over to the ornate desk as Frank sat up.

"You find any information about these documents?"

He asked. Lucy sighed.

"Sadly not, sir, and they all dodged the question on their feeling towards the NAS. It's possible as you say the anonymous nation getting these shipments and the NAS are linked somehow, but the Senate is being tight lipped about it"

Frank thought for a moment. Secrets didn't normally stay this hidden in the senate, everyone often jumped at the chance to get one over on their rivals. So why the change? He opened his desk and pulled out some images, handing them to Lucy.

"I know you have some contacts in the media still, use these as payment. I want to know what they know about this"

Lucy couldn't help but chuckle.

"My oh my, the Chancellor's been a very naughty boy. You know how much trouble you'll be in when he finds out?"

Frank smiled.

"Now how on earth would he know I had these images? Unless someone told him that is, Lucy. And anyway, that'll be the least of his concerns probably when I get to the bottom of this. Good hunting"

Lucy nodded.

"This isn't a hunt, this is pest control"

Both chuckled as she left the room. If there was one thing the Senate should never do, it was to put the Emperor in a corner. The Emperor leaned back in his chair once more. He might actually enjoy this.

Lord Great Protector Andrew II sat in his comfortable chair, smoking a cigar. He had tried to give up smoking, but as soon as he made any headway some crisis would occur and he would find solace in the sweet, smoky scent of El Rey del Mundo cigars. The latest crisis? Some third-rate politician in Alaska was now galivanting around the state, calling himself a "Fuhrer" and spewing hatred for the Jews, not to mention all the political opponents of the National American Socialists.


There were not many Jews living in Barfleur, as most of the country was not even located on Earth. Andrew knew that with the increased volatility in the Pacific, it was likely that the Protectorate of New Zealand would be under threat. Thus he had dispatched several military units to the islands, under the overall command of Lt. Gen. Robert Moresby. Neither man wanted war, but they both knew how Fuhrers felt about peace.

Although they do have a lot of support within their own walls and Alaska is quite resource-rich, We could be allies with them, provide military support in exchange for economic trade. This will Surely boost the economy in both countries."

"Yes, while this seems like a good idea," noted Minister of Defense General Sven Olsen "We would be putting ourselves in the middle of everyone's radar. We have been peaceful and neutral throughout most of history. Be it the few rebellions and civil wars we had. But we cannot afford to start a World War."

"Alright Then General, but do tell me What is our army looking like at the moment?" Asked the Jarl.

"We currently have 100,000 actives and half a million in reserve, with the navy having twenty submarines five of them carrying nuclear missiles, twenty station battleships and twenty active ones patrolling across the world and ten aircraft carriers within a day of sailing. The Chancellor decided that he woukd postpone the secret attacks on the NAS. If the Confederstion was caught, war would be triggered. For now, there would be neutrality.

He watched as militiamen from many villages started gathering. The independent villages agreed to send some of their militias for a temporary united Joseon militia to be formed until all this tension ended.

He quickly wrote a small letter to the NAS, qs all the other nations were currently doing.

In a rather worrying development, it appeared that many of the allies of Kenmoria were shifting to be opposed to the National American Socialists. To Ares, this was no real issue, as they were a company and as such were not bound by petty nations. However, the Parliament did not like being the odd state out when compared to the others’ geopolitical stances. The major issue was that no one nation controlled the entirety of the anti-NAS movement, and the most powerful state, the Soviets, were fiercely anti-capitalist. As such, if a war were to break out, Kenmoria would be alone in the world.

For that reason, a plan was put into place by the Parliament, once that would hopefully allow for the creation and formation of strong allied nations in the upcoming conflict, whilst not compromising the position of official neutrality, as Switzerland had done many years ago in the Second Great War. The Prime Minister, a strong woman named Gabriella Farley, had decided to pursue firstly relations with the neighbours countries of Madossa and Germany. If these could not be realised in the way that was expected, then neighbours further afield such as Halfront could also be useful. The latter nation were strategically important due to their position in Southern Africa.

"Pardon my bluntness, but the WA has already condemned the NAS, and has asked all nations to denounce the NAS, as well as stop any and all trade with them. While Significance is not a WA member, it does take matters like these very seriously, and listens to the WA. Officially, we have done as the WA has asked.

I don't see how Significance, and those like us, can do much more. Unless the NAS attack first, we are the aggressors, and that's where the line has been drawn currently. If you have a problem with the current situation, say other nations who haven't listened to the WA, perhaps you should be talking to the WA to get them to do something about it.

Unless, of course, you have something to convince me Significance or others like us need to step up, for some reason.

Secret NAS rally, Significant, Significance

The Emperor took a seat at the back of the room, out of sight from the Senate Ministers he could clearly see. While free speech was allowed in Significance, it was clear powerful people backing such events, didn't want people finding out about their involvement. Lucky for Frank, Lucy's friends in the media had provided Frank with all the information he needed. Now all he had to do, was wait to see what happened next.

Middle of the Pacific ocean

Sick rolled down the side of the cargo ship. Advisor Lucy Vermont didn't like the ocean, it made her sea sick. A concerned sailor came to check up on her.

"You know, I don't know why the Emperor would put you through so much trouble. It's just cargo"

Lucy did her best to smile.

"You'd be surprised how valuable cargo is"

The sailor chuckled.

"If you say so. I might have something for your sea sickness at least"

Lucy stood up straight as best she could.

"No thank you. I'm stronger than this"

The sailor shrugged, and began to walk away.

A young man Steps into view of the camera " Well it was a normal day until the protesters showed up. most people didn't pay much attention to them until they started smashing windows and stuff. Eventually, the riot squad came and its been like this ever since."

*Tear gas was being thrown into the crowd of angry protesters behind the reporter and man. Every one started dispersing*

"The police have now used tear gas on the protesters. The protesters are now leaving." The reporter announced.

While Significance is not a WA member, it does take matters like these very seriously, and listens to the WA. Officially, we have done as the WA has asked.

I don't see how Significance, and those like us, can do much more. Unless the NAS attack first, we are the aggressors, and that's where the line has been drawn currently. "While we oppose the National American Socialists," she began, watching the words form on the computer screen, sodium-yellow against a black background, "it is due to their interventionism and aggression; as a non-interventionist nation, Nordland believes a nation's ideology is the business of that nation and only that nation, even if that ideology is contrary to ours.

"Furthermore, Nordland is a non-militarised nation. We believe every problem has at least one nonviolent solution, in addition to any number of violent solutions, and it is invariably our national policy to pursue a nonviolent one.

It is, therefore, my duty to respectfully deny your request to use our airports as military airbases, geographical advantages notwithstanding. We further urge you to reconsider your position and seek a peaceful solution to the admittedly worrying crisis brewing in North America."

She sat back and reread her message. Satisfied, she asked the computer to send it to the Israeli diplomat who had contacted Nordland about the airports. She then opened the parliamentary log, archived there the message from Israel and her reply, and wrote a short note describing the situation. As part of the government's commitment to transparency, the log was available to every citizen of Nordland, not just members of parliament, so public statements by politicians were unnecessary; logging all parliamentary activity was equivalent and wasted less time.

Hopefully the emergency meeting would end before it was time to do something about the Israeli refugees seeking a haven in Europe.

As the only biochemist in the Sector of Science & Technology of the Nordlander parliament, she had been the obvious choice when determining which of the seven representatives would travel to Nigeria while the other six debated national legislation.

The first thing she was going to say to the Nigerian agent was that temperature regulation inside the lab to within zero point two degrees of twenty-four point three degrees centigrade was critical for the adequate functioning of all the equipment. Jonathan Robillard was barely hiding the fact that he clearly did not want to be there. The white-walled meeting room was stiff, cramped, and uncomfortably heated; either the crowd or a poorly-managed thermostat was causing the heat, maybe even both. Bright white fluorescent lights beamed overhead, and the general air of the room was one of unease.

The bright-crimson message reporting the declaration of war from the Israelis came as no surprise to Jonathan. As the Nordlander Representative worriedly urged for the other ambassadors to join Nordland, Jonathan bided his time.
