We are an hour out from your position, Command has confirmed the launch of an EAC-130J Aircraft to your location as well."

EAC-130J Cockpit | Somewhere over what used to be the US | 30 minutes to Kentuckian Airspace

"3459 to Command 30 minutes out, we have not received any radio messages, Only seen wasteland and radioactive stuff." The Captain looks to the left of the aircraft and sees something near the ground. "Weapons Crew, Ready weapons." He grabs a pair of binoculars and looks again. "Jesus Christ that's a tank, an old truck, and some old looking tank. Is it aiming at us?" Suddenly the sky around the Aircraft turns into explosions. "Target that Convoy! Open Fire!" The Weapons on the side of the Plane Whir to life, suddenly the aircraft returns fire, hundreds of shells fill the sky between the plane and the convoy of old vehicles. The shells hit both the ground and the vehicles, the tanks in the convoy continue to move. The weapons Chief radios to the cockpit "Get us lower and closer" The Flight crew move the aircraft to a much lower altitude and begin circling the tanks. Suddenly the 120 mm Cannon fires at a tank, the shell penetrates the armour of the turret, destroying the tank, but the other one continues to fire with AA Cannons, the aircraft turns around and destroys it the same as the last, but not before getting its tail hit, the top half of the tail is missing with only a small bit left, but it is just enough to be able to fly still. "3459 To command, we have been engaged by hostiles, two tanks and a truck, both destroyed, I really hope these guys have a working runway and repair facilities."

"Ensign, begin broadcasting a message on all channels." The captain picks up the mouthpiece of the radio and looks out the large bulletproof glass windows of his bridge. "This is the Two Tree Fife of the Enteres Navy, any NATO Forces please respond, we currently are on a course for the large island formed in the middle of the US and will be arriving in a few hours. I repeat, Any and all NATO Forces please respond, this is the ECVN Two Tree Fife, escorted by two Enteres Class Frigates, I will not tolerate any Hostile action on my vessels and will use any and all remaining Ballistic Missiles on this vessel, though they are not nuclear, they can still make a crater so big I can fit all of your bodies into it." He puts the mouthpiece down. "ill be in the Officers mess, notify me if anything shows up. I heard they are serving salmon tonight.

Major Olbrich stared at the communications report, half of his men had reported a message that was not of Kyavani origin. He opened the drawer in his desk where he kept emergency vodka and opened it, he took a long swig before continuing his reading. His eyes widened as he saw the O.P of the message. He picked up the phone and dialed military HQ, a young lieutenant picked up the phone. Before he could say anything Olbrich began to talk, "Get me High Marshal Carstein, they've shown themselves.". Olbrich could sense the younger man stiffen in his chair. "Are you sure?" He replied curtly. Olbrich remained silent and the lieutenant seemed to understand. "Patching through now, I hope you're right. Should we act to slowly, this opportunity will slip away." commented the Lieutenant. Olbrich remained silent and prepared to deliver the news...

The EAC-130 flies over New Frankfort. it's gear already extended. "EAC-3459 To New Frankfort ATC, Requesting landing on any runway possible, We will require repairs for our horizontal stabilizer, we had an AA shell hit it." The EAC-130 begins circling the city.

ECVN-235 | Near what used to be the Coast of Florida | Bridge

"Sir, there's a cargo vessel due south, it has been confirmed as armed, multiple machine guns mounted to its railings, and armed guards walking its catwalks. We have attempted radio communications, but there has been no response." The Admiral begins turning from looking out the front of the bridge, when a bullet smashes through to glass, hitting a wall, the Admiral gets down and crawls to the door that takes him to CIC, which has no windows. Once he enters the CIC Room he closes the door, waiting for the rest of the bridge crew to enter first. The moment he closes the door he yells "Get a warning shot fired from one of the frigates, I want them to know we are capable of destroying them."

The Railguns on the deck of the closer Frigate turns to target the Cargo ship when it has aimed at the ship it raises to aim right over the ship "Fire!" The Shell in the cannon goes from 0 to Mach 7 in less than a second, the shell hitting the water next to the ship, exploding on impact and throwing water into the air and onto the deck. The shell is responded to with a machine gun fire and more sniper shots. "Return fire with everything we can!" The Frigates both fire at the cargo ship at once, both of them hitting near the waterline under the bridge, water begins rushing into the holes, the ship begins to list to the side, the Guns on the Frigate then begin firing as fast as they can, shells slam into the ship over and over again, every time more water begins filling the ships hull, by then the ship is almost 90 degrees to the side, people, containers, and anything else not fixed to the hull begins falling off, splashing into the water, then the ship falls, the massive hulk of metal comes crashing down, throwing a wave towards the fleet. The Admiral quickly sends a radio message "let this be an example for everyone else, do not mess with the Enteres Government, Bring the survivors on board. have them put into the brig. And turn the radio off."

"EAC-3459 to New Frankfort ATC Negative, everything else is fine, no injuries. We will be requiring Repair Facilities on the ground, and refuelling."

When Russia fired at Europe, it fired at almost all of Europe. Its nuclear bombs hit as far as Portugal - the Iberian Peninsula was as devastated as the rest of the world.

The royal family of Spain managed to survive the Armageddon... somehow. But soon after the fallout ended, they started to rebuild the nation - they were a beacon of hope for all those in the Iberian Peninsula who knew about them.

There were many challenges to overcome, but they needed to be taken one step at a time. Like a phoenix, a nation had been reborn - from the ashes of the nuclear fire that had swept across the continent.
