During the last years, a young member of the military police whose descendants came from soldiers of the Haush had been chosen by the supreme Tyan of the confederacy of Assuw to beign the new general of the military police. With the passing of time this young woman managed to earn the charisma and undisputed loyalty of the militarized police soldiers in Assuw, becoming a national icon with such a strong figure that she could even compete against the official leader of the confederation, Tyan Marcelo Alejandro Tocusa. Her name was Agustina Axuliana Neumann, a woman of pure Assuwian blood and with an unwavering military instinct, a 29-year-old ultranationalist and without fear of death, without fear of cause it or suffer it.

The international census agencies rated Assuw as an emerging military power after the creation of the first "Guilum" heavy tank models. International investigators have also accused the Assuw confederacy of developing nuclear weapons programs. In addition, a recent international controversy is revolving around Assuw after the murder of some swiss youngs by the militarized police. The swiss youngs made a documentary within the Assuw confederation without a legal pasaport, exposing the militarization of the society. Several international organizations asked Tyan Marcelo Alejandro Tocuso and General Agustina Axuliana Neumann fo the militarized police for an explanation of what happened with the swiss youngs, but none of them has given an explanation ... until now.

The roleplay starts.

Several international organizations focused their vision on the emerging fascist nation, some nations had decided to infiltrate some spies to monitor the hardened island nation, something that had been very difficult due to the strict control of borders and the enormous danger of being discovered as an illegal immigrant or as spy inside Assuw. Today, a group of 150 "delinquents" were marching through the streets of the capital of Assuw, were they chained and dressed in worn clothes, had bruises and serious injuries, some could barely walk. There were several soldiers of the militarized police pointing at the prisoners with their assault rifles and machine guns, in front of them was the figure of the fearsome General Agustina Axuliana Neumann that was causing several of the prisoners to falter from the fear of walking. The citizens watched with indifference to the prisoners, this act happened every two weeks or at the latest, every month in Assuw.

One of the prisoners has fainted while walking, had been unconscious and could no longer walk, a soldier of the military police approached him and kicked to confirm if he reacted, quickly General Neumann approached the prisoner, she took out her revolver and executed him. The group continued its normal path until it reached a kind of sanctuary located within a wooded area.

General Agustina Axuliana Neumann:

In a few moments you will die, you will be killed by us and the possibility of salvation doesnt exist, we are the protectors of Assuw and we are the ambassadors of death, I will grant you a minute of silence and peace so you can accept the situation.

After a minute of crying, the military police executed the group of prisoners. Hours later, General Neumann was back in the capital of Assuw, as if nothing had happened.

Journalists were descending on Place du Parlement, one of Roussay's most famous and scenic districts. A special convening of parliament had condemned the human rights abuses in the Confederation of Assuw, and was the first condemnation to do under the new Carre government. Over the last decade or so, a new foreign policy had been awoken in Eglaecia. Following the War in Iraq, pacifism reached an all-time high, but it soon declined in popularity, and by the turn of the decade, the foreign policy debate was once again alive. The Arab Spring and ensuing conflicts had sparked renewed calls for military intervention, and in the 2018 elections, a government of the Confessionalists and National Party had been formed, with the largest opposition from the right-leaning Free Liberals. A group of interventionists calling themselves the Unified Policy Group (GSU) formed a working majority on the Foreign Policy, National Security and Defence Committees, bringing together MPs from the CDC, National Party, Free Liberals, Worker's Party and the Liberty Party. Two of the GSU's most influential members are Emeric Kalir-Chaney (CDC), Secretary of Defence, as well as the Chair of the National Security Committee, Dominique Chastain (NP). Both of them stood beside the Prime Minister and Deputy Minister today as they spoke on the situation in Assuw.

"It is simple." Carre began. "The Confederation of Assuw is a textbook example of fascism, and the human rights abuses that come along with that cannot be unnoticed. We have zero doubt in our minds, and our intelligence services agree with us in saying this, that the atrocities being committed by organisations in Assuw, such as the military, are being sanctioned by the highest levels of the state. It is because of this, that we throw our support behind, and stand in solidarity with the people of Assuw who are being subjugated by this regime. We are currently reviewing various avenues of action to take, and will update the public when we come to a decision. Carre stopped and smiled as the small crowd applauded, and was harassed by journalists as he walked back into Parliament - though they were stopped by the armed guards outside the entrance.

Within a day of this announcement, small protests spread across major cities in Eglaecia. Anti-war movements, largely organised by Vert and the Republican Left, organised in Roussay, Calles, Vergons, Ville de Monnetay, and Montiverne, but they proved futile as by the end of the week, Eglaecian media began reporting that there was manoeuvring from the GSU to begin looking into taking military action in Assuw. For now though, it was just rumours.

Castle Cimarron

Tancred of Cimarron, whose real name was Theoden Karstaag, was restless. Since his actions during the Catholic Insurrection, as it had come to be known, he had done little but rest on his laurels in Castle Cimarron, built on the shady proceeds of his former life of espionage. Unsurprisingly, his belle Celeste had been somewhat withdraw and distant since the fall of her family and the execution of her father, Arthur Canillac, and so he found himself with far too much time on his hands.

He was flicking through channels on the television, listening to the rain fall on the sea outside, and was about to turn off in order to read a while, when a news report caught his eye. A Swiss journalist had managed to escape from the reclusive island nation of Assuw, reporting of atrocities and state butchery. Chilling footage of soldiers turning their guns towards a cameraman and gunning down unarmed people as they tried to flee was broadcast, blurred out to save the sensitive dispositions of the daytime viewers.

Tancred was vaguely aware that a punitive expedition had been dispatched to Pepper Atoll, and rumours of a great chevauchee there were circulating slowly through the intelligence community, but that was unconfirmed and the Brytisc government had not even deigned to address the claims thus far.

These people, however, were openly and cheerfully committing murder on the regular, boasting to the world of their brutality, and that kind of thing was like catnip to the cavalier Tancred of Cimarron. Whipping out his phone, he pulled up a popular social media app and thumbed off a quick post.

The nations of Rhionnia and Assuw were no strangers to each other. While the two Atlantic island states were in a geographical sense relatively close, the two were separated by a vast distance in terms of culture and views of one another. Once, the two regarded each other with almost complete ambivalence, each going about their existence with only the slightest acknowledgement of the other. This cool indifference changed drastically however, following the so called "Turncoat Affair" several years ago.

A small vessel was intercepted by the patrol craft LCaS Ó Thuaidh of the Cabhlach Ríoga (Royal Navy) within Rhionnian territorial waters on a routine patrol. Aboard the craft was a single individual who was taken into custody and transported back to Rhionnia. Initially, a strong language barrier prevented any constructive dialogue, however eventually it was discovered that the individual was a defector from Assuw. More specifically, the person of interest was a member of the fascist nation's fanatically militarized police force. Rhionnian media closely followed the curious developing story of the strange castaway, and it did not take long for the origins of the stranger to make headlines. The response from Assuw was completely unexpected and took the Rhionnian people and government by surprise, and shattered the previously ambivalent relationship between the two. Unsubtle threats from the government of Assuw of armed retaliation unless the defector were turned in put the Rhionnian military on its highest alert since WWII. The reaction was so severe in fact, that it had become a full scale diplomatic crisis and a declaration of war by Assuw did not seem outside the realm of possibility. While the crisis was eventually brought under control, the Turncoat Affair had forever changed the relations between the two nations for two primary reasons: while war may have been averted, Assuw now seemed to regard Rhionnia and its people with an unyielding hatred. Secondly, once proper dialogue had been established with the defector, the individual told extensively of the atrocities committed within the nation by the fascist government against its own people. While these revelations made front-page news in Rhionnia and sparked immediate disgust and condemnation, the story went largely unnoticed elsewhere in the world. To this day, the identity of the defector remain confidential, and the individual lives a quiet anonymous life in the nation, still protected by Rhionnian intelligence, who are the only ones that know the individuals location and identity.

Needless to say, relations between the two in the present day remain marked by outright hostility and tensions. While fiery rhetoric is common place, there has surprisingly never been any sort of armed incident or clash between the armed forces of the two nations. This tenuous peace however, has been threatened and put under even further strain in light of Assuw's military buildup, and a nautical border dispute takes center stage in the relations between the two island nations. Royal Navy vessels have recently reported that Assuw patrols have simultaneously become more numerous as well as have been encroaching closer and closer to Rhionnian territorial waters. In response, Rhionnia has also begun to step up patrols in the region. This has caused the Rhionnian government to become unnerved and concerned, a sentiment exacerbated by recent developments caused by Swiss documentary that has exposed to the rest of the world of the evils of the Assuw government, evils that have been well known to Rhionnia for years.

For now, the Rhionnian government observes the growing international outcry towards their rivals in Assuw, fearing potential repercussions should tensions continue to escalate....

The sky was quite grey over Langley today, CIA Head Johnathan Lawson job was starting to get to him, hours of paperwork complaining to the staff. Running a massive intelligence agency was not as fun as most would think especially after budget cuts from the President and on top of that a new war coming up in the Middle East. The new laws against torture would make it hard to get information from the numerous insurgents that were almost bound to be captured in the fighting that was to soon come up. Although the agency like much of the military was divided over the upcoming war, one thing remained clear interrogations needed to be outsourced to another government. But what other Government could provide maximum security with minimal escape? Reports of a missing documentary crew then provided the answer.

A young lady raced through a door into a briefing room, her long blond hair flowing from her speed, 3 men and 1 other woman were waiting for her. The other woman, at the front of the room, looked at her.

"Agent 22, you are late. Take a seat next to your colleagues quickly, and I might not think about removing from this team"

Agent 22 did as she was told, and the other woman continued.

"You 4 are here today because you are the best of the best..."

She glanced at Agent 22 as she said this, cleary still not happy with her.

"...and this mission requires just that"

She pressed a button on the remote in her hand, and the large screen behind her changed from the image of the SIS logo to an image of 4 targets.

"These targets you see before you, are ex-Talon members. While our agency had thought we had eliminated the terrorist Talon threat, it appears these 4 had managed to sneak under the radar and escape to a nation called Assuw, and have now become Assuw citezens"

She paused, making sure the agents were ready for the next part.

"While this nation is shrouded in secrecy, we have managed to discover fascist leanings of this nation, and reaching our targets will be difficult. The environment you are entering will be extremely hostile to any sign you are not one of them, so caution is advised"

The Agents before her all nodded.

"Now, to your targets"

The woman pressed the button again, and the first case file came up.

"This is Alexa Konnach. She was 4th in command in Talon, and for good reason. Ruthless, intelligent, and not afraid to use her feminine charms to get what she wants. Do not let her warp your mind. Subdue her fast when you find her"

Another click, and case file two popped up.

"This is George Vanguard. Head of Talon security. He ensured the safety of the highest ranking officials in Talon, including Alexa. A sheer brute of a man. His strength is, well, his strength. He's also a master strategist. Teamwork will likely be required subdue him"

Now she pressed onto case file three.

"This is Lina Turner. Head of Talon Intelligence. She'll sniff you out with ease at the slightest slip up. I'd suggest going after her first, if you want to get close to the others. Once you do however, be careful. While her brain is her biggest asset, she is also highly skilled in combat"

She pressed the button the final time, and the final target's case file appeared.

"This is the final target. Natalie Cross. The youngest target, and was in Talon the shortest. But, you should still not underestimate her. She was quickly rising through the ranks for a reason. Not the best at anything, but still reasonably good at everything. She can also adapt extremely easy on the fly. If any target can elude you, she can. Remember that"

She paused again. Hopefully all this information had sunk in for the Agents.

"Now, you will be leaving for Assuw in 24 hours. I suggest you use this time prepare for the challenge ahead of you"

The Agents respond together.

"Yes, Ma'am"

She smiled.

"Good luck Agents, dismissed"

After the Agents left the room, the woman turned to the screen, and pressed the button on her remote one last time. This time, the case files of the Agents popped up.
Agent 7, Agent 14, Agent 35, and Agent 22.

She stared at Agent 22's file. She was the youngest Agent, with a lot of potential. But, she had a lot to learn. The woman hoped Agent 22 wouldn't be the teams undoing, this mission was far too important to fail.

During the last days, the offices of the government of Assuw experienced a relatively greater activity than in previous years, for a long time there were not so many nations expressing interest in the country and that was something that neither Tyan nor General Neumann liked. The intelligence services noticed that there was a growing interest of several nations of the world in Assuw, this terrified the Tyan to the point that he decided to meet in secret with General Neumann.

Before this secret meeting took place, General Neumann had ordered some divisions of the militarized police to execute 4 people who belonged to an indigenous tribe on the grounds that they are a potential threat to the Assuwians. Soldiers of the militarized police took the 4 convicts walking through most of the city, the convicts were all scared, it was not the first time that the militarized police towards something like this nor be the last, since the rise of General Neumann these executions were made much more frequent than previous years.

During this secret meeting, the Tyan Tocusa and the fearsome General Neumann agreed to accept the proposal of the United States of America, although the Tyan initially opposed to this deicision, the General Neumann convinced him to use these "prisoners" as test dummies for that the soldiers of the militarized police have more experience in obtaining information through torture, even though this decision is conceling the General Neumann's secret desire to execute people who do not belong to Assuw. In addition to this, the Tyan informed General Neumann that she had to prepare a military police parade to receive a representative of the government of Lux Pulchrae, this led to several minutes of discussion where General Neumann questioned the lack of authority that Lux Pulchrae had to send a representative to her beloved confederation, however they finally reached an agreement. After this meeting, Tyan met secretly with one of his best trusted men to tell him about the complicated situation in which he was.

"The Haush is getting stronger every day, I think the militarized police is at its best moment in history"

The Assuwian citizens did not decide who they respected the most, sometimes they questioned who had more power, the Tyan or the general of the Haush, all the actions of the Tyan and the Haush received the popular support of the citizens, the Assuwians were raised with a good image of the government and when a criminal was executed, nobody cried for him, the Assuwians seemed accustomed to these practices while the international organizations saw this in a negative way for obvious reasons, but the population seemed little interested in changing the policies of the state security, in fact, seemed quite satisfied with them. Did the nationalism and the government propaganda have made citizens consider criminals as traitors of the fatherland?, the truth is that the government was not responsible for the Assuwians having this perception, the culprit was General Neumann.

Leütant du Flotta Terry de Graff sat at his mohagany desk in his minuscule office, writing his report of the escalating violence in the Assuw Confederation. He sighed, lifting his eyes to the ceiling where he pleaded with God to speed up the clock so he could just be done with the day.
A knock at the door roused him from his self-pity. The Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, an attractive young lady of 24, stood at his door.
"Good morning Leütant, how are you doing."
"Oh, I'm doing perfectly fine Ms. Dejeunwalk" he sighed, "just another day in paradise. Say, have you heard the news, we're getting ourselves involved in another useless conflict today. Ha! What a surprise!"
"And this is the report on the Assuw situation" she said as she picked up the absurdly thick dossier.
"Yeah, unfortunately. All just docs and pictures I've compiled on this General Neumann. I'm heading over to the Office of Maritime Security to hand this to the Admiralty for intelligence purposes or something like that. Whatever, god-damn navy has so many stupid departments."
"Well" she said "you might be relieved to know that the Emperor is going to release an official statement tonight. Some excuse for more of his crazy expansionist ideals. From what I've heard he's going to use the human rights fiasco as an excuse to deploy the whole bloody fleet. Yeah, we might be in for another long one."
"Well that's just wonderful. Anyhow, Lord help us if he gets us involved in another one of his stupid wars of conquest."

It has come to attention that the Government of Assuw has viciously violated the rights of it's people for the last few years or so. This situation has no doubt exploded because of the massacre of Swiss journalist on behalf of General Neumann's orders. It is with sternnresolution that the Empire and it's people Officially condemn this action.

Therefore, with all formalities aside, I would like to request a meeting between our nations to discuss the future of Assuw's people. If per chance this request it is denied, I will personally take the liberty of reviewing the option of military intervention in Assuw.

International waters, near Assuw territory

"Agents, are you in position to undock your mini subs, over?"

The Captain of the nuclear submarine asked.

"Mini sub 1, ready for undocking, over"

Replied Agent 35 over the radio.

"Mini sub 2, also ready to undock, over"

Replied Agent 14 on his radio. The captain now gave the order.

"Crew, prepare undocking for our payloads on my mark"

He paused.

"3....2....1....mark"

With a clunk, the electromagnets connecting the smaller subs to the main sub disengaged, and the smaller crafts began to separate from the sides of the mothership. As the distance increased, the main sub turned around, heading back to the allied port in South America. It was good that Significance had a lot of friendly ties.

"Good luck Agents, see you on the other side. Establishing radio silence, only break if the job is complete, or you need to retreat. No exceptions, over and out"

It was hoped the mini subs would be able to slip in undectected, but the Agents would have to wait and see. If all went well, they would park the mini subs in an unsuspecting spot, ready to be used again when they escaped with the targets, hopefully.

The Tyan noted the response received from Lux Pulchrae and even though he personally preferred to keep other countries away so that he could "lock himself" into his own borders, he saw no other option on this matter than to accept the imminent arrival of the Luxos in the country. Fortunately for the Tyan this visit was only diplomatic or at least that seemed to be. He looked up and there she was, the brightest strategist in the country occupying the most important position, with her typical uniform, she had heard about the visit of the luxos representatives sent in a kind of "diplomatic mission".

"Neumann, I need you to see the best of the Haush for the arrival of the Luxos ... I do not need you to be present for the arrival of the representatives, that is your choice ... but I need you to prepare the Haush to receive them, they will bring their own security personnel anyway "

She replied "Understood, my Tyan" in an automated way, exposing a rigidity and loyalty that seemed to be indisputable, that was the kind of behavior that had caused General Neumann to rise in power by being so young, it was her incredible rigidity, what much as she worked on being attentive to everything, no matter how boring or overwhelming was the situation, even Tyan himself was terrified of General Neumann's rigidity, sometimes considering that she was not human. General Neumann maintained a rigid posture, paying close attention to Tyan's words when he was reading the letter received from the Freakoland emperor. The Tyan let himself be carried away by his impulses and shouted a powerful insult that could be heard from several rooms away, "What about those who believe to decide on the future of my nation!?" He asked no one, getting even with the air but for his good, General Neumann answered that question with total serenity "We must develop tanks more apt for a war against an invading power, the threat is real", she said in a very calm way, as if the solution was simple.

Several minutes passed from Tyan's rage attack until he decided to give General Neumann a check to do what he wanted as long as he fulfilled the goal of "keeping the problems away." After General Neumann is gone, the Tyan began to personally write his responses to both nations, due to the anger he had at that time he first wrote his response to the Freakoland empire, while clenching his teeth with force and structure his hand. When he managed to calm down, he wrote the answer to the kingdom of Lux Pulchrae.

Significance agents moved into the waters of the Assuw Sea during the night, as they approached the northwest coast of the large island passed under some patrol boats that failed to detect them but that surely scared the agents, the Militarized police were in a fairly strict state of alert despite Assuw not having a very strong military conflict hypothesis. They managed to reach the coast of Gazena beach, a fairly short beach with lots of weeds and vegetation.
Fortunately for the agents, this beach was not visited by the Assuwians at day, much less at night. They had the advantage that they went unnoticed and were now in an uncontrolled area from which they could use their radio, due to the geographical position of the beach they could establish radio connections without interference or without the militarized police could intercept the signal, the radio checkpoints were quite far from the beach. The atmosphere on the island seemed to be quite pleasant and at the same time, dark. The extremely fertile soil, the cold air, the immense forest and the animals that inhabited it made the environment beautiful and dangerous at the same time. If they walked south for about 22km they could find a small city with few streets and medium infrastructure, this city would be full of symbols related to Assuw and state propaganda, there would also be military police soldiers present. However, if they walked about 17km to the southeast they would end up colliding with military installations of the Haush located in the middle of a forest, giving the impression of being hidden. This base is heavily guarded and going would be a great risk if an agent lost his way.

"Fast!!, load the ammunition in the Guilum!" shouted Commander Marcos Deogo.

Prime Minister Sophia Thomas was sitting on the couch in her in New Sydney watching the news about the atrocities happening in Assuw when her phone rings. She sees it is her Defense Minister Olivia Newton so she answers, "Yes what is it you need Liv?"

Olivia begins speaking, "Have you heard what's happening in Assuw?"

Sophia answers, "Yes, I was watching the news about it. Liv, we need to do something about this. Lets deploy a couple of our subs to keep watch over things."

Olivia replies, "Yes ma'am, I will get right on it." Olivia get to work by getting those sub deployed.

2 Titan class SSNs, as quiet as the newest version of the United States' Virginia class subs, were 20 miles from each other and had orders from the Prime Minister herself to watch Assuwan shipping including their Navy. These subs went by the names ASS Titan and Kingfisher. Each sub's captain had their sonar department keep a close eye for any Assuw subs.
