With the destruction of most of the advanced units, Ruthenia's army had begun another retreat, pressed by bullets and anatean artillery.

Ruthenian Soldier: "Damn Milsch, how the hell did we lose this time? We had victory in our hands!"

Milsch inspired before exposing his criticism that, if heard by officers, could result in a punishment for defeatism.

Ruthenian Soldier (Milsch): "Even if i don' t understand the meaning of all this conflict. A region was taken away, but it was the region itself that wanted to separate on its own initiative... after the government ignored them for years. I ... i can't find a real meaning in all this ... we are not prepared for this mess, and for now we are not doing anything but taking punches from the anateans ...
Ruthenian Soldier: "... are you insinuating that we are not up to take back our region?"
Ruthenian Soldier (Milsch): "Of course yes! The anateans were waiting for us, all we did was throw ourselves into their trap. They will have been badly armed, but we have not shone so much for tactics. I ... i just want to get out of all this alive..."

The two soldiers became silent and thoughtful, thinking about how they would be able to return home without ending up in a coffin. Their minds thought silently, while all around them the hubbub of the anatean artillery and the distant, stray bullets hung over the fast and hurried footsteps of the ruthenian soldiers retreating in that cloudy day of June.

Observation
I noticed that infantry is too overpowered against tanks and helicopters,so i already tought on a way for reduce their power against tanks and helis but without reducing their efficency. Also have 2 kind of infantry troops is really uncomfortable to handle,so i'll reunite both units in a single one that can attack air and armored targets. The commandos,instead,will be only an anti-infantry unit.
I have also to raise the power of artillery and attack helicopter units against infantry,cause they were almost useless during the battle, also i've wrote down others rules of war based always on the strategic ones, but for make battles on both war and battle maps more fast and more easy to handle and free about tactics and units organization.

EPILOGUE

Many months had passed since the last great battles in San Palia and Mirevka.
Ruthenia had suffered heavy losses in both assaults, while the anateans, still numerous, tried to defend the line with what they could. But apart from a few skirmishes between reconnaissance patrols, the war was in a silent stalemate, so silent that Kars Delai began to reflect on the validity of sending his entire army to the massacre for resume a region now lost. Of course, he had a certain deal with the members of Layden, but he certainly couldn't risk his nation and the citizens already impoverished by the civil war previously had.
Thus it was that on 10 August 2019 the dictator of Ruthenia ordered his divisions in Dalstavia to withdraw. The anateans were so amazed by the move that, rather than celebrate, they began to fortify the positions even more, fearing for a much heavier assault...but that didn' t happen. A few days after the retreat the diplomats of both nations tried to find an agreement to discuss the peace treaty, succeeding after a few days to find a city where to make the agreement: the desert town of Lant, in Ruthenia.
The peace meeting, which took place from 16 to 18 September 2019, involved Princess Sofia Soleri and Kars Delai in heated debates about Dalstavia and the war debts to be paid, finally coming to an agreement: Anatea could keep Dalstavia as long as it left its own autonomy, so as not to leave it under the thumb, while Ruthenia would have undertaken to repay the damage caused during the conflict.
The solution went well for both, so much that Sofia decided to reorganize the nation under a new government, given that in the months preceding the war other regions had asked for autonomy in the management of their commercial and environmental interests. Thus on September 19, 2019, Sofia Soleri announced to the nation that the "Dalstavian War" was finally over, and that Anatea would no longer be a Republic, but an autonomous Federation united in resolving the nation's problems.
On the contrary in Ruthenia the power of the dictator faltered strongly at the end of the conflict, giving rise to autonomous factions that fought to bring down the central Ruthenian government.
While Ruthenia dissolved into an abyss of freedom struggles, Anatea could finally embark on a new path of peace and stability.

I know that this is a sudden end to the conflict, but i had some issues in real life that took me a lot of time lol so i preferred to end it like this instead of not ending it at all :O
