The Rhyssuan ambassador, Armin Lukae, nodded. A smile ghosted across his aging face.
"On behalf of the People's Confederation of Rhyssua, I accept this alliance."

British St Helena wrote:Across the Raj reserves were being called back into service and reserve equipment broken out of warehouses and docks (with even the older training ship Ex-USS John F Kennedy being recommissioned and hastily refitted). The four reserve army groups are being rapidly mobilised and drilled for combat, their divisions being hastily formed with older and reserve equipment. Even the missile defence system was active and on hot standby.
As footage of the Raj armed forces mobilising starts trending on social media (tank columns screaming through villages at high speed and infantry marching through soon after) media outlets began reporting the incredible news. At first the media believed that a military coup against the Viceroy might be occurring as their were no statements from the government and the heightened military presence across the country only left speculation (some rumours even went so far as to say the Viceroy was assassinated earlier in the day and that the king had ordered the military to takeover). Then rumours that martial law might be declared began to circulate through the mainstream media and social media. Within the capital of New Windsor troops were stationed across the city in droves with tanks and artillery being driven through the major thoroughfares of the city. They were mostly from the Reserve Army and refused to speak or comment about the situation or their orders.
Then, video footage emerged of an entire army group, being identified as the Royal Army under the command of General Sir Chris Barnett soon after, were witnessed by presumably a foreign citizen with a phone camera rapidly advancing south through closed motorways under the cover of darkness and during the curfew with 70 motorised infantry divisions, 35 MBT divisions and 12 support divisions with a helicopter escort flying overhead. This specific army group has been noted previously of being trained and fully capable of fighting in high radiation areas by news analysts in the wake of the nuclear disaster in Spokane due to their very public display of these abilities 8 years ago in a televised exercise under the previous Viceroy.
Observation satellites also began to reveal that one of the Raj battleships, the RRNS Conqueror and its escorts were leading a taskforce of Amphibious transports and landing ships. (9 Bay class landing ships, 4 Albion Class Amphibious Transport docks, 20 BATAL landing ships.) into a military port in the south east of the Raj and transport aircraft were rapidly appearing at airbases in the area close to this military port.
Their have been no official statements made by the Raj Government or any military sources at this time.

"Yes, Lieutenant Jedaiah Marks?" inquired Captain Jesse Lefebvre.
"We've lost contact with our 1st and 2nd Squad."
Jesse sighed heavily, whilst sitting in his office.
"Okay, well, then, uhh.. where was their last position?"
"Around 26 kilometers south of the rest of the Third Brigade."
"Well, then, send a few recon units down there and observe the position.. and, uh, we'll see."
"Affirm, we'll send a few down there and scope out the position."
Bzzt.
Jesse stood up from his seat and strolled out of his tent in his forward operating base.
It was rather busy out there, as logistic trucks pulled into the camp, full to the brim with ammo, food, water, and equipment. The captain walked past other officers and soldiers.
The captain met with his superior, lieutenant colonel Venerando Botte.
"Ciao, 3rd Company Capt'n?"
"We've lost contact with 2 squads under Lieutenant Jedaiah, 'bout 26 men."
"Va bene, I'll add it to the casualty's list."
Jesse nodded, and walked back to his tent.
He begin eating his M.R.E., and just as he tore off the top, the radio turned on.
"Yes?"
"We've found a group of militants next to the town there."
"Okay, don't confront them directly, but flank them. Send your other squads there on foot and take them out."
"Affirmative, will let you know soon."
Bzzt.
Jesse, looking at his M.R.E. disgustedly, sat down.

6 AH-64 Apache attack helicopters were on patrol when the lead pilot spots what looks to be a Madossan convoy being ambushed by unknown assailants. He radios the officer in charge of the convoy on a secure channel asking if they need any assistance down there.

The six Apache attack helicopters move in to assist the Madossan troops by lay down heavy suppression fire with their 30mm chain guns and rockets on the attackers. The lead pilot radios the Madossan commander over a secure channel, "We got you covered commander, laying down heavy fire on enemy positions. We have spotted your 1st squad and they appeared to be pinned down by heavy enemy fire. Wait a sec, we seeing some flashes off a mirror. Looks to be morse code, they saying that their radio has been knocked out and they need assistance immediately. 3 helis will assist in your advance to help 1st Squad while the other 3 will say with 1st squad and keep the enemy pinned down. Tiger 1-1 out."

Private Mitchell Whelan was not having a good day. At all. While escorting a Madossan convoy, a group of militants had ambushed them with RPGs and machine gun fire. Worst of all, his radio had been broken, and he could not contact the rest of his platoon.
All of a sudden, 6 large helicopters appeared out of what he thought was thin air, coming straight towards him
Struth! Why? Why? He through to himself as he laid down suppressing fire against the militants.
The 6 (what he finally identified as Apaches) Apaches started firing upon the enemy position, and the roar of the choppers, the firing of machine guns, and the deafening blast was so loud, he reckoned he could hear it from Perth.
A helicopter swung around, and he identified their logo as Pere House helicopters.
Friendlies.
Realizing this, he desperately flashed the side view mirror on the left of his truck, attempting to speak in morse code, hoping they'd recognize it.
