Private Mitchell Whelan was not having a good day. At all. While escorting a Madossan convoy, a group of militants had ambushed them with RPGs and machine gun fire. Worst of all, his radio had been broken, and he could not contact the rest of his platoon.

All of a sudden, 6 large helicopters appeared out of what he thought was thin air, coming straight towards him

Struth! Why? Why? He through to himself as he laid down suppressing fire against the militants.

The 6 (what he finally identified as Apaches) Apaches started firing upon the enemy position, and the roar of the choppers, the firing of machine guns, and the deafening blast was so loud, he reckoned he could hear it from Perth.

A helicopter swung around, and he identified their logo as Pere House helicopters.

Friendlies.

Realizing this, he desperately flashed the side view mirror on the left of his truck, attempting to speak in morse code, hoping they'd recognize it.

Captain Logan Rogers spots the flashes coming from one of the trucks sees that it is morse code. He uses the lights on the helicopters to send a message back,'Your company is on its way here, hold out as long as possible. We will keep the enemy pinned down until we have to refuel and rearm.

The Madossan Company arrived, at drove back the militants.

"Okay, we've received contact with our first squad, and they've driven back the enemy with the help of.. uh.. 6? 6 American Pere Housh Apaches."
"Okay, good, now, what was the casualties?"

Casualty Report

Madossa:
9 dead
2 injured
1 missing

"Okay then, I'll send it to base," replied Lieutenant Jedaiah Marks.

Jedaiah's platoon had been ambushed in the middle of last night, when his convoy was almost completely destroyed. He was amazed that his 1st squad wasn't entirely dead.
Whew.

"Captain Jesse Lefebvre?"
"Yes, Lieutenant Jedaiah?"
"We've received contact from the 1st and 2nd squads. They were ambushed, and received help from some Pere Housh Apaches. At least 9 dead, 1 missing."
"Okay, I've got it. Over."

New Windsor, Embassy District:
The Intelligence Secretary threw the SUV into another hard turn, its tiers squealing. He slams his foot down onto the accelerator and the car leaps forward, in his rear view mirror he can see other black SUV's perusing him. He feels the car lose control as his left tire is shot out by a sniper. His car careens over and begins to roll. It comes to a halt on the sidewalk outside of the Madossan embassy. The Secretary's arm is left arm is broken from the crash and he struggles out of the car. He picks himself up and runs to the embassy, a shot ricochets on the pavement next to him. He takes out the memory stick from his left pocket with his right arm and holds it in an outstretched hand. The door to the embassy opens as the secretary throws the stick into the embassy. The sniper on the roof above fires, the bullet piercing the secretary's heart and kills him instantly. He falls flat onto the ground and a pool of blood forms around him. He is quickly dragged away by intelligence personnel and into another black SUV which drives away.

The receptionist picks up the memory stick that was thrown into the embassy, the memory stick the intelligence secretary gave his life to deliver. It is quickly taken by the ambassador and examined. On the memory stick is a document and a video file.

The video file is from a security camera, it shows the Durbar Hall and has no audio, the Viceroy is standing in the center of the room and dressed in an ornate intelligence uniform, she is talking with an aide. This continues for around half a minute before intelligence service personnel run into the room and raise their guns at the Viceroy and begin shooting, the aide dives onto the Viceroy and uses himself as a human shield, taking the bullets instead of her. Then an older man walks between the intelligence personnel and seems to order them to stop shooting. The Viceroy gets out from under her aides body, kneeling over him. She closes his still open eyes and then turns to the older man, (further identification shows that he is the Governor General). She says something and then stands up. The Governor General takes out a pistol and shoots the viceroy in her side. She collapses to the floor and is kneeling, blood can be seen trickling to the floor. The Governor General then walks towards the Viceroy who stands up in pain, and after speaking for a brief moment the governor general raises a gun to her chest.

A second later the Governor General and the intelligence officers were shot. The Viceroy still standing slams her boot onto the wound of her assassin. After speaking further while the Governor General is seemingly screaming she is handed a pistol and shoots him. She begins to walk away and is assisted by a medic to another room.
The Video cuts to black.

The document is accessed and within is a message.
'Our coup and assassination attempt failed, all is lost. By now she has gotten rid of the last elements of credible decent against her rule. I will attempt to at least get the video to an embassy, she has most likely already ordered my immediate execution and it won't be long until she succeeds. I hope that whoever gets the video will find a use for it.' on the bottom of the document it is signed, Intelligence Secretary of the Raj, Robert Simmonds.

New Windsor, Embassy District:
Another sandbag was stacked atop the pile. The poor security guard, who really didn't sign up for this kind of thing, wiped his brow and glanced around through the gate of the Semparian embassy. He browsed the surrounding city. Of course, there was no real reason for setting up defenses for the embassy, it was more just in case Raj intelligence tried to pull any shenanigans, this would be a solid deterrent against it. It was a Semparian policy to have embassies stocked with some medical gear and defensive capabilities, just in case, but the Semparian embassy still had to slip out and make a few runs for these defenses. Most of the defenses in the embassy was just scrap metal, real solid wood and other such items to make a makeshift, but pretty solid, defensive line. Any actual sandbags and other such actual military equipment were reserved for key points, such as entrances or firing positions. If things really went down, Semparia would be ready.

Sempari City Port, Military Section
The last group of sailors was onboard. The drunk idiots had were late by an hour, but the fleet was ready to move. It wasn't much, but it would do its job well enough. The only things up to date were the carrier, subs, and a few AA defenses. The carrier was carrying 70 of Semparia's best fighters, and the subs were the best Semparia could get their hands on. However the rest of the fleet was sorely lacking. Outdated guns, tech, and equipment, it was more of a deterrent than a effective fighting force. But the fleet would do its job well enough, supporting the ground troops.

Semparian FOB in Spokane, next to a city near the front.

Finally, the sergeant thought, the last danm shipment. Semparian high command had been shipping in AT guns, TOWs, anti air, and even setting up some artillery positions for ground forces in Spokane. They were gearing up for a heavy fight, and along major roadways, defenses were set up, and some nervous troops were set up next to the road. They pretty much just let anyone pass, be it government or fallen angel, who they were waiting to stop is anyone's guess.

Sorry for doubleposting, wanted to make sure of somethin

Near fallen angel territory, major roadway
The captain chuckled, he could hear the massive Raj convoy approaching his position, and he could almost imagine the look on the face of the company-shitbag™, since he was the one put in charge of standing infront a car and telling the giant force to please stop. Of course, he had a mix of hidden and visible AT guns and TOWS for intimidation and damage, as well as a few AA specialists to deal with any air, but he had no doubts that if the Raj wanted to risk war and attack him he would lose, the hope would be to just intimidate them and cause as much damage as possible, and convince them it wasn't worth it to try and push past them. Afterall, Semparia has to stick with it's whole "Please don't commit warcrimes"

General Christopher Barnett:

The General picked up the radio. "All units track presumed to be hostile contacts and continue ahead, go past them and for god sakes don't hit anything."
The Royal army continued on towards the Semparian defences, completely ignoring the car in front (including the poor sod who was standing next to it trying to tell them to stop) and the defences assembled. However it was obvious that the Raj tanks were targeting the defences and were prepared for an engagement in reaction to the AT guns and TOWS. However, they were under orders not to fire the first shot.

Dutch Troop Landing

Postby Dutch Corporatist State » Mon Apr 22, 2019 1:20 pm

A while after the official broadcast, both due to having to wait for approval and actually organizing and sailing across the ocean, the "Orange Helmets" as they were soon referred as, arrived a calm harbor far from the action.

Commander "Niels Hagens" remarked for his religiousness led the fairly large division through the countryside. The unit being only semi-motorized slowed advancement, and eventually railways were used to further transport the troops North. Once in Spokane's current capital, the division formed into three groups. Group Red, Group Angel and Group Calm.
Group Red would shadow the Raj's army(s) and worked to both help and possibly convert fallen soldiers and civilians, but also to document more evidence of warcrimes.
Group Angel would venture into Fallen Angel territory, sending out one-way messages to their radio stations to signify they are peace keeping troops.
Group Calm would respond to any major battle happening, and would respond there to do their best to observe and care for the soldiers and people affected.

During most battles Group Red or Group Angel would stick as close to the frontlines as possible, or sometimes ahead of them. They would go as deep into the city or town as they could, escorting out civilians and wounded alike to Camp Holland. Aside from a set of accidents regarding soldiers shooting at the column, these soon subsided when they noticed the Orange helmets. Some soldiers of other factions than Dutch would express their annoyance at their interference and over-zealous way of talking about their missions.

General Barnett couldn't help but smile to himself when he got the reporting of, and then the sight of, a Semparian officer yelling into a long range radio, he knew very well what it meant. A minute or so later reports of the Semparians standing down and packing up their gear were given, and the convoy passed through without another incident.

ORNN, A State-Owned News Channel

The refugees' expressions ranged from excitement, to confusion, to shock. Flown in with one of the twice-daily supply drops and escorted by what looked like a dozen aircraft, First Citizen Denis Gajsek visited "Basecamp," a refugee camp established for victims of the nuclear meltdown in Spokane. The First Citizen was given a tour of the facilities, spoke to some Spokanian refugees, and even worked in the camp's makeshift soup kitchen for half an hour. Then, he mounted a "podium" of empty supply crates to give his speech.

"The People's Confederation is fully committed to this country," Gajsek said. "I've walked among you, spoke with you, and I can say this with certainty: you are a wonderful group of people, and wholly undeserving of your situation."

*applause*

"We shall continue to supply this refugee camp and others like it until we have new homes for every single family in this beautiful country," Gajsek continued. "The People's Confederation also plans to step up military involvement, to ensure that the situation is stabilized. Regarding the Raj..."

"The People's Confederation is willing to compromise, in order to improve relations between us. If the Spokanian government has no issue with your soldiers' conduct, neither do we. All we want is two things: we want our operatives back, and an apology from the Raj for shooting an unarmed Rhyssuan civilian within Rhyssuan sovereign territory. In exchange, the People's Confederation shall normalize relations between our two countries, and issue an apology of our own. If these terms are insufficient or if the Raj wishes to add something, they are welcome to pick a meeting place here in Spokane, so our two governments can work out an agreement."

Hector Graciani was a Spanish man who had a quaint little home in Soria, Madossa. Every so often, he'd be able to visit it and enjoy the scenery, before going back to the Victorian-style Madossan embassy in New Windsor, with it being beset on all sides by smog, other, more modern embassies, and some abandoned building where every once in a while you'd see someone clandestinely scope the area. New Windsor on nice days was horrible. Sadly for him, he worked as the Madossan ambassador to the British Raj, and he would often sit around in the lobby, whilst reading a magazine. He'd glance at the clock, then keep reading, taking a glimpse at the urban hell that was New Windsor.

Today was different.

Today was strange.

Everything seemed.. off.

While he sipped his coffee, he noticed a slight flurry of activity around the Embassy District, the aforementioned figure in the broken window of a building across the street, black SUVs cruising around the block. A statement about how the Governor-General being assassinated. Terrible. I'll send condolences later, Hector thought to himself. First, gotta sign this paperwork.

Then, during his normal habit of reading, a loud noise startled him. He immediately gawked outside the window, eyes wide.

A black SUV came careening toward the embassy, with countless other SUVs chasing him down. Gunshots ricocheted off the leading SUV, and one hit its left tire.

The car flips over, and rolls towards the embassy, smashing into one of the abandoned buildings. A man, dressed in official-looking uniform, struggles to get out of the car, and quickly runs to the Madossan embassy.

The ambassador is shocked.

The man, who he identifies as the Intelligence Secretary of the Raj, throws a memory stick through the open wrought iron gate, and is shot straight through the heart.

Hector feels his blood freeze, and his face turns into a pale, horrible grimace. His stomach immediately turns, and in his fright, he glances at the receptionist. She looks visibly distraught.

Blood pools around the man, and government personnel drag his bloodied corpse into a SUV, and they drive off, knocking over several trash cans.

After a sickened visit to the bathroom, Hector inspects the memory stick.
"We need to contact the government," the receptionist firmly says.
"Hold on, we need to see this thing's contents. If Robert Simmonds gave his life for it, we need to see why he even risked it in the first place."

He sticks the stick into the computer, and it loads up. It contains a video file titled "DurHall Sec Footage," dated at 10:24 am, April 22, 2055, and a text document.

He immediately sends it to the Madossan Government through a military-level encrypted channel. Not that it mattered much, as soon after, an official, and extremely urgent communique was issued out. It was sweet and simple.

An Official and Urgent Communique and Missive From the Federation of Madossa
Open Communiqué | Addressed From: Ministry of Foreign Affairs | Subject Matter: Evidence against the British Raj, regarding deception and a coup d'etat | Encryption: Not Applicable

The Federation of Madossa has uncovered incontrovertible and critical evidence against the British Raj, which has hitherto has been violating international law and deceiving other nations and peoples, as hereby proven by this missive.

At 1:03 PM today, the Intelligence Secretary of the British Raj gave his life at the hands of the Raj government to deliver a memory stick to the Madossan Embassy in New Windsor, the British Raj. The memory stick was examined, and contained the evidence of an attempted coup d'etat against the Viceroy.

This evidence clearly shows that the British Raj:
1. Has deceived the international community by covering up a coup d'etat,
2. Has violated international law by firing upon and murdering a government official on embassy grounds.

Other evidence is currently mounting against the British Raj, including possible espionage, torture, and suppression of the rights of free speech, open assembly, and liberty. More evidence points to war crimes against the civilian population of Spokane, and the breaking of the Geneva Convention. This is completely unacceptable to the Federation of Madossa, and hence Madossa urges and demands in this ultimatum that:

1. The British Raj is investigated by the international community,
2. Sanctions are applied to the British Raj,
3. The Brigader leading the Raj Forces in Spokane be tried in the Hague for war crimes against civilians and for violating the Geneva Convention,
4. A start towards a democratization of the Raj Government.

If the British Raj does not comply, Madossa urges for the international community to take action against the British Raj, and will readily join.

This is the final transgression for Madossa, and Madossa sees it fit that justice is served.

Breaking News.. a large mobilization of Madossan troops can be seen throughout the French area. The Madossan Government has not yet commented on it, however it's posted that is a part of the ultimatum issued a few hours ag-
Hank Volas turned off the TV, and tossed the remote into the couch cushions.
He stood up, stretched, and walked out and peered outside the window into New Windsor.

While capturing spies was the Raj's speciality, Madossa banked on the chaos caused by the attempted coup d'etat and the ultimatum issued.

As such, Hanks was stuck spying on Raj troops movements. If he was found out, he would run across the street into the Madossan embassy.

He had not yet, though, but he still was paranoid of being caught and brutally tortured.

He wished upon a star that that would never happen.

"Ah, the picturesque Northern Spokane!" Siku exclaimed as he set foot on land after a 10 hour flight on an airbus. Next to him stood lieutenant Volkov.
"Indeed, now just make sure it stay's that way. The RAj's deathball is on it's way already"
They watch as troops, whitehelmed military police, march out of the airbus. Then urgency strikes the Lieutenant
"Well, I'm off for a meeting with the Spokane head of state, to inform him that his people here are in grave danger."
"I think he knows very well, Lieutenant"
Volkov responds by slowly shaking his head, then he informs Siku of the 3 Refugee camps they are constructing just outside the larger cities of the Northern territories
"Then I'll go and inspect those, since we're expecting a lot of guests soon"
A group of officers joins the Lieutenant for orders. He responds:
"Just construct the camps for now and fly the Rosnokutsk flag on them. Don't allow people in yet untill I get back"
The officers salute and head off.
A completely white military armored car with Rosnokutsk flag decals on the side stops in front of the lieutenant
"We'll meet in a few hours.Keep the troops busy"
"I will"
The car waits for 2 more white cars to join them and then they head towards the Spokane capital to talk about the crisis

Siku turns around to be suprised by 2 eager looking soldiers that have been tasked with being his bodyguards. He smiles and salutes
"Alright, Komrades. Escort me to the camp!"

"They seem to be coming along nicely" Siku remarks as they walk through rows of tents already set up and soldiers constantly crossing them with supplies for more
"They'll be ready any minute now. Running water pipes from the city are being laid too" He points towards the skyline. When they pass the entrance of the camp they see a mass of people already pushing to come in but the soldiers won't let them, as they are orderer not to.
"They are frightened to death by the approaching Raj" The overseer of the camp invites Siku into the Officers Barrack of the camp.
"Who wouldn't be" Siku accepts
Inside a map of the area lays on the table, palettes of supplies that have yet to get their own tent and officers are making calls on the radio's.
"These lines are secured?"
The overseer points at a sail to the side of the tent.
Siku lifts it and sees a skeletal soldier with a nice, full neckbeard monitoring 3 laptops while eating Doritos Hot&Spicy™
"Hey, where did you get those?"
The soldier pretends not to hear
Siku stops himself from trying again, since he is more of a Nacho Cheese™ guy anyway.
Then local officials walk in
"We heard there is a radiation specialist here to help at the nuclear exclusion zone?"
Siku got shivers, smacked himself and walked towards the locals
"That would be me. I take it the meltdown is caused by the explosion knocking out the coolingsystems of the plutonium core?"
"Exactly, the emitted becquerels is extreme. We need you on site to examine what we could possibly do"
"Alright, just to be on the same page here, are talking about becquerel-137 or becquerel -235?"
The local scientist is silent and frowns. Siku slowly realizes the mission is over
Then a Rosnokutskian enters the tent and yells" Who was looking for the radiation expert? That would be me!"
Siku laughed it off and proceeded to discretely throw his Kommissars book in the trash.

Detente Conference

Soon afterward, Gajsek departed, flanked by a dozen aircraft. As of this broadcast, he is safely home in the capital. Now for weather-

Official statement from the Governor General of the Raj, Gabriel Lorca:
The Government of the Raj is happy to issue an official apology for the shooting of an unarmed Rhyssuan civilian within Rhyssuan sovereign territory. However, we cannot allow the release of the operatives sent within our nation by the Rhyussian government as they have committed crimes against the Raj and her people and must suffer the consequences of their actions with the full existent of the law. We are also prepared to host a meeting within Spokane at a suitable location to discuss important matters between our nations.

OOC:
I will reply to the footage being released in a few hours.

Official Statement of the People's Confederation of Rhyssua

The People's Confederation is pleased by the Raj's agreeableness, although it suggests that Spokane should host the meeting in a neutral location, like the capital or a third-party military base. In respect to the operatives, the People's Confederation would at least like to affirm that the rules of the Geneva Convention and the Hague Convention are being upheld in the operatives' imprisonment and care. The People's Confederation would be willing to allow a third party, such as the Dutch Corporatist State, to investigate the matter. Finally, the People's Confederation wishes to know if the Viceroy shall be attending the conference herself, or if she'll send ambassadors to negotiate on her behalf.
Yooooo!

Think of me as a mix of Austria-Hungary and Yugoslavia (democratic, of course). How you get the name "Rhyssua" out of that, you ask? Shhhh....

With the ongoing negotiations, Semparia offers to host the meeting in a set up point far away from the forces of either country in order to prevent the calling in of said forces. Semparian security will be minimal to avoid raising the suspicions of either party, and should tempers rises both groups will be disarmed.

In other news, Semparia asks if Rhyussia has the ability to accommodate for some more refugees. Ones being taken care of in Semparian FOBs might find a more proper refugee camp more appealing, so the request is put in to drop off a few of them.
It has literally been 2 years since I last played this game. Hopefully now I RP better.

Official Statement of the People's Confederation of Rhyssua

The People's Confederation would be more than happy to let Semparia host the conference, and asks the Raj if they also find this agreeable.

As for the refugees, Basecamp would be more than happy to accommodate them. The People's Confederation is in the midst of shipping supplies, infrastructure, and non-governmental volunteers to the camp, to improve the standard of living in the camp. Once this transition is accomplished, Rhyssuan SpecForce will pull out and begin search-and-destroy missions against the Black Flag and Fallen Angels.

Highway 12, the Federation of Spokane

Image
The Madossan Military Checkpoint Delta, placed on Highway 12

A small crane, brought in by truck, placed the last jersey barrier in a hastily-constructed military checkpoint built on the highway.

The 3rd Company had been positioned there, constructing all day, with supplies brought in by escorted Madossan truck convoys.

Recently, the Madossan Government had given the green-light for a shipment of 15 Leopard 2A7s to be placed there.

Checkpoint Delta's purpose was publicly to serve as a Forward Operating Base and as a military checkpoint. It, however, had a hidden, more lucrative purpose.

This clandestine purpose was to uphold Madossa's opposition to war crimes committed by the Raj, by denying the advancing Raj forces access through the checkpoint. They were under strict orders not to fire first, and although if the Raj forces were large enough attempting to fight would be suicide, it would still be a large PR victory for Madossa in most areas. Madossa could only hope that any situation there would not escalate.

Official Statement from the Federation of Madossa
The Federation of Madossa is willing to temporarily pull it's demands to the Raj for this conference to take place. The Federation of Madossa offers for this conference to take place in the Joan de Arc Military Base, located in the Federation of Spokane. Although Madossa will likely attend this negotiation, most Madossan military forces will be withdrawn to other positions, for the purposes of peace.

If the British Raj provides a good case for all evidence provided in Madossa's previous missive, Madossa may pull it's demands.

New Windsor,

The Viceroy watched the official statement from Madossa, her hand clenched on the arm of the chair she was sitting in. Damn them. She watched the incident happen again, as did the population of the Raj. Her injuries were severe but she had insisted in continuing her duties, to show weakness would mean death.

There was nothing at first, the streets of New Windsor were empty and silent, everyone was either at work or at home watching the news. Then reports of rioting began to reach the Viceroy, then reports of almost full blown battles within the streets of the major city's of the Raj as the rioters fought each other. Those who supported the Viceroy and those who supported the new defunct coup. The Windsor Army (the second regular army of the Raj) and 2 Army Groups of the reserve forces was called in to stop the fighting with the intelligence service and the police force but thankfully did not use lethal force due to the orders of the Field Marshal (who had previous experience with riots of this nature) instead making human walls between the two fighting factions with military personnel who were outfitted with riot armour, shields and batons.

On the King's Way (Rajpath) a pitched battle was taking place between the two factions with hundreds of thousands of rioters fighting each other with crude and improvised weaponry, Molotov cocktails began to be thrown over the lines causing serve injuries. The Army and the police force were being hard pressed to stop the violence but were still holding the line.
However, the Coup forces are vastly outnumbered across the country and clearly seem to be the minority and not the majority.

An official statement was made by the Viceroy herself in a recorded (but seemingly live) TV broadcast relating to the actions of Madossa:

The Viceroy was sat in her office, behind her head was the symbol of the Viceroy, a defaced union jack with the star of India in the center and a crown above. She was dressed in a blue business suit with a red shirt beneath (the same as her factbook picture).

The Madossan government has committed a grave offence to both myself and the people of the Raj. It is not the business of an unwanted foreign power to intervene within internal matters of the Raj. We are not obliged to inform the international community of an attempted Coup d'état and it is incomprehensible why the Madossan government would dare send an ultimatum to my government.

Our response will be as follows, the Raj will decline without hesitation the ultimatum sent by the Madossan government, we are officially cutting all diplomatic ties with the country and immediately ceasing all trade and economic ties with Madossa, our government sponsored reimbursement scheme will resume as the Raj populous will not suffer at the hands of a foreign power. We demand that their embassy within the Raj is withdrawn within 2 days and we will withdraw our embassy within Madossa immediately.

We also refuse without hesitation their request at allowing them to host a conference within Spokane as they are clearly biased against the Raj and will attempt to sabotage the negotiations. We will host the conference within the Spokane capital with the nation of Spokane mediating between Rhyussia and ourselves.

Let me make myself clear, as Viceroy of the Raj I will not allow foreign powers to dictate to myself, my government or the citizenry of the Raj how OUR nation should carry out its affairs within the Raj. Long live the Raj.

General Christopher Barnett, Checkpoint Delta:

The checkpoint stood in front of the army, 15 Madossan Lepoard 2A7's and large amounts of equipment in-between two embarkments. They clearly intend to block our path.
The General standing in the commander cupola notes the embankments, an idea sprouting in his head he takes up the radio. "Tank units, go around the blockade and up the embankments then surround the bastards while the rest of the army passes. Leave them a small avenue of escape from where we came."
At that moment half of the tank force of the Royal army leaped forward at full speed and around the checkpoint, they climbed the embankments around the checkpoint with some of the tanks then driving on top of the bridge and aiming and the Madossan units below the rest of the tanks then went down the embankment from the other end getting behind the Madossan units and then aimed directly at the Madossan force. Portions of the Royal army began to follow suit and began climbing the embankment.

Jeers were being made by the Raj army personnel at the Madossans while pictures and videos were being taken. A press officer with the army had recorded the entire affair and was already sending it to the media in the Raj. It was broadcasted with the captions. "They didn't see THAT coming!"

OOC:
A second in person post will be coming at some point of both the Viceroy and the rioting within New Windsor. More than happy to make changes if anything seemed out of place.

OOC: This'll be a small post, sorry, but I will make another one later.

The 3rd company was surprised by the sudden advancement.

They'd been stationed there for just 2 days, before the Raj had came and enveloped them with tank forces. They hadn't finished entirely though, and the captain abused I, withdrawing the entire force out.

The Raj were going to get some great PR from the withdrawal, sure, but not for long.

Out of the blue, almost the entire airwing of Eurofighters assigned to Spokane flew by, and, to those jeering soldiers' horror, strafed the British Raj Army with it's missile pods and cannon, probably killing many. The fighters swooped over the tank force and let loose the 6 bombs carried in each aircraft.

And as the air wing flew by, over and over, the Madossan officers smiled.

General Christopher Barnett:

He watched the Madossan forces withdraw with a smile. He knew they were bluffing. Once the Madossan forces withdrew however he heard jets, lots of them.
He thought they would be flying over to bomb separatist targets, to his horror he seen them open fire with cannon and missile pods. The general grabs the radio. "COVER EVERYBODY COVER!" he dived into his tank as cannon shells slamed into it. The tank was undamaged but he could hear screaming form outside. He grab the radio. "All anti-aircraft batteries fire at will repeat fire at will! Target at your discretion and kill the bastards! Call in the damn air force and tell them to get their flyboy asses over here! And for god sakes inform command!"

He started to hear large explosions outside, they were bombing. The starstreaks and other missile defences began to be launched and reports of Eurofighters being downed were coming in. He then heard the Marksman anti-aircraft open up as the Centurions begin to let loose. The ant-air was extremely effective at such close range and was doing serious damage to the Madossan airforce.

The General knew this could only mean one thing, that the Raj and Madossa was at war.

The 3rd command, seeing that the air Force was both taking a toll and distracting the Raj force, opened fire upon the Raj.

All of a sudden, multiple shipments of tanks and infantry from the Madossan military came out, surrounded the Raj forces, and started firing.

The entire checkpoint was to give a location for where the Raj forces were. The Madossan military had been secretly mobilizing, and sending shipments if tanks and men to their military base and other ports along the coast.
Overall, 30,000 men from the military had joined the 20,000 over there, along with multiple tank divisions, consisting of over 100 Lepoard 2A7s each. More of the air Force was enough route for Spokane.

Back on the ground, ground forces concentrated on the anti air defenses, destroying a large junk of AA.

General Christopher Barnett:

The general shouted into his radio. "All units engage enemy land forces at once! Tank units are to flank their main force and crush them. Give them no quarter men!"

The Royal army let loose with anti-tank weaponry and artillery fire. Though successful at first managing to destroy multiple AA units the Madossan lines were beginning to get battered by the simply overwhelming Raj firepower, with over 13-1 odds this battle would become a slaughter in very short order.

The portions Raj Challanger 2 tanks were easily flanking the Madossan lines with their superior numbers to cut off their avenue of escape and with such a numbers advantage (the challengers were fighting the Madossan leopards on over 22 to 1 odds) the Madossan force was getting utterly slaughtered. The Infantry (who had mostly dismounted from the motorised equipment) first held, then advanced and broke through the crumbling Madossan line with artillery and mortar fire supporting the advance. The Madossan air force was taking heavy losses from the anti-air elements of the Royal Army, if the air force did not withdraw soon it would be annihilated. The Raj Air force within Spokane were over 20 minutes away.

The General watched from his tank, this wasn't going to be a battle. it was going to be an outright slaughter and he was sickened by it. It looked like the Madossans brought 50,000 - 40,000 men...why the hell would they attack with odds of nearly 14 to 1 at best?! He could see that the challengers had completed the encirclement with the remaining mechanised infantry and were beginning to advance on the flanks and behind the Madossan lines. He knew it was only a matter of time before the Madossan general surrendered, he can't have any other choice for god sakes! The press officer was still recording, the black cameras catching every second of the battle.

OOC:
Erm, I am genuinely stunned that Madossa decided to attack. I hadn't even dispersed my units to help out with the nuclear fallout or kill separatists ect...Madossa is fighting the ENTIRE Royal Army in Spokane that numbers 730,000 personnel. I cannot see how to make this any less of a slaughter short of making my General blind, deaf and dumb. I can only sit in shock and awe Madossa on this one.

Sitting on a hilltop 4 miles away sat 30 M1A3 Abrams tanks. The Marine commander shook his head watching the 2 countries duke it out on the battlefield. He orders his tanks to move out and they begin heading toward where the battle was taking place. Major Leon Roswell radios the general of the British Raj forces and asking to meet with him.
