Everyone, if you want to join, present your cases for being on the UN security council, I'll start.
Madossa is very similar to France. A large similar is that time and time again, Madossa has been dragged into bloodshed upon bloodshed by the Germans. As such, a unified Germany (at least before the 2000s) has always been a huge threat to Madossa. Rhyssua is the melting pot of Central Europe, encompassing Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Italian city of Trieste. The combined militaries and economies of these former nations (now called Confederal Districts), make them a major European power. In addition, its geographic location makes it the crossroads between Wester, Eastern, and Southern Europe. As such, it gained a seat in the UN security council to help it safeguard the West against potential Russian aggression, and ethnic tensions in the Balkans.
Oi! How am I supposed to have a reunited Yugoslavia without Slovenia and Croatia? Oh well, time to assimilate Bulgaria and Albania...
