His Majesty, The Lord of All Things, The Nozerod's Personal Voice and Representative.

The Voice of the Nozerod has given a statement, backing up it's ally Coruconia in it's rightful crusade against communism.
"The Holy Nozerod, our Lord, has decreed unwavering support for the Anti communist rebels of Ubizietan, for communism is a plague that must be cleansed with thoroughness and zealousness. Though they are not Essotori, the rebels must not be allowed to fall back into the clutches of tyranny. Let our arms be the sword that cuts off the head of the communist menace."

The Grand United Kingdom of Essotori summarised it's position as supporting freedom, tacitly providing logistical, economic and military doctrinal aid to the rebellion forces. Colonel Lawrence Stomp was secretly deployed to rendezvous with the resistance, and Essotori will be attending the summit to try to dissuade rivals from joining the fray. (Though if others do intervene, the Kingdom will have little hesitance to test it's weaponry on any volunteer force.)

Biddeford Port, Biddeford Islands. 4 am Local Time. Aboard the CSS Joseph Smith.

The CSS Joseph Smith sat ominously below the cool waters off the coast of the Biddeford coast. Patrolling this coast was a typically dull task, but with the conflict in Ubizieten and the suspension of trade with Ubizieten, the job of Captain Ross had suddenly much more stressful. Ross puffed a cigar as he looked over tons of maps and documents and new orders. It was no secret that the Joseph Smith was showing it’s age, it creaked and groaned and required constant maintenance. Left with the CSS Mercury in this lonely stretch of waters east of Sonyong, his was truly a gloomy job. A radar ping set the vessel alight with activity. A contact, a small Ubizietenese trade ship had entered within range of the Smith. Ross ordered the submarine to surface, and the CSS Joseph Smith swiftly cut through the waters and into the cool ocean air. Ross moved through the crowded sub to the communication center, pushing aside a new crew member he picked up the radio and personally hails the ship.

“This is Captain John Ross of the CSS Joseph Smith, you are entering restricted waters and must turn back now, please respond.”

The crew waited in silence and received no response. Ross tried again.

“This is Captain John Ross of the CSS Joseph Smith, you are entering restricted waters and must turn back now, please respond...”

Still nothing. They tried Morse code, and finally, they tried flagging the ship down to no avail.

Ross had no other choice, he phoned to the sub’s weapons room and ordered them to prepare a torpedo...

Chuukangan News Broadcast, 8 pm.
“The Chuukangan submarine CSS Joseph Smith reportedly fired upon and sunk a small Ubizieten trade ship this morning. The Chuukangan Navy has yet to confirm such reports, but eyewitness reports allege that a submarine surfaced shortly before firing upon the Ubizietenese ship with a torpedo. This comes after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that all Chuukangan trade with Ubizieten would be suspended in light of the ongoing civil conflict.”
