Lutetii is an old nation, a confederacy of city states, which was plagued by two coups in the second half of the 20th century, which caused them (also following a catastrophic war with a neighbour) to disband the military - the small mafia-like syndicate operating within Lutetii, the LCN, soon saw and took the opportunity presented and expanded into every 'industry' (from smuggling to arms trafficking, from drug trade to human trafficking, from illegal prostitution to the procurement of non-wage workers) they could find.

The LCN - a crime syndicate, which will, at first work together with the syndicate in Sali and Koconos for the benefits from it, until they see the only option for growth in taking over.

Taskforce 141. A force that was formed to discreetly monitor and dismantle large syndicalist crime groups that pose a major threat to Germany. They consist of Heer veterans for their ground troops and intelligence operatives from the infamous spy rings of the Kaiserriech. Their claim to fame is their mobile task forces which are the second to none. They can respond to incidents on the other side of the world in less than a day. They are privy to experimental weapons, have a large pool of vehicles, and a logistics train that would put the Americans to shame. They report directly to the Kaiserin and enjoy heavy support from all branches of the government.

Role(s) you wish to play in RP (in more than one sentence): I’d like for Avon to be the nation where the initial trafficking victim is found and rescued by law enforcement. Avonian society will be scandalized, especially when the victim is tracked as having been sent to Avon from Sali and Koconos, which will be portrayed in tabloid media as a white raj that’s “gone native” and lost control. There will also be political pressure from the Royal East India Company to stifle the investigation, since the Company benefits from corrupt ties to Sali and Koconos politicians and it would lose their influence if those politicians were implicated in the trafficking and replaced.

While local narcotics laws are liberalizing under the new Progressive Party administration, crackdowns on hard drugs, gangs, human trafficking, and prostitution are only intensifying as the new Governor, Diego Rodriguez, attempts to sweep the cities clean of seemingly-unrelenting criminal groups and improve the nation’s international standing. In addition, the nation’s lax gun laws provides an interesting playing field for everyone.
I’ll be playing a few organizations here:
Exodian Secret Service-Organized Crime Division: Exodia’s resident federal law enforcement, cyber-crime, and counter-terrorist faction. With a mixture of eager recruits, hardened ex-military members, a diverse arsenal of both indigenous and foreign-purchased weapons and equipment, and advisors from other groups such as the American FBI and Secret Service and British M15 and Scotland Yard, the sometimes-underestimated group is quite capable and efficient. Often tasked with protecting the Governor, Senators and other officials, and with advisors of their own in other allied countries, their real capability is only limited by the nation’s own borders.
Exodian Navy-Territorial and National Protection Service: Serving as Exodia’s coast guard and border patrol, they might not see a lot of action, but they’ll always be the first thing a vessel will see when they enter Exodian waters, from a merchant tanker to a fishing trawler, from a light naval frigate to a refugee lifeboat. Mostly composed of EMT, rescue personnel, military police, and conscripted sailors who don’t want to stray too far from home, they’re sometimes considered to be over-armed and under-experienced, but their training and willpower will shine through when it’s called for.
White Widow: A well-funded international crime syndicate dealing in the realms of hired hitmen, drug smuggling, prostitution, and others, the group is notorious amongst the Exodian underground for their aggression against various ethnic mafias that have set themselves up the the nation, as well as their elusiveness and their strong political and corporate connections. Despite all this, they’re above using humans as cattle or objects, and their High Table will be offering decent contracts for killing traffickers and the seizure of their financial assets, as well as the liberation of their captives.

Key Characters:Governor Diego Rodriguez: The nation’s new commander-in-chief, now trying to calm the waters of the Governor William Shang’s eccentric term.
Emilio “Matador” Gomez: A playboy car dealership owner by day, White Widow-employed enforcer and amateur gunslinger by night. Was an immigrant to Exodia from Columbia, previously had enlisted in the Army to supplement his naturalization and resume and had found an... interesting line of work afterwards.

That's gonna be a problem. You see the Kaiserriech doesn't approve of rouge nations so we will definitely not like.

The corrupt Governor is a government official, but is a rouge actor and criminal when it comes to human trafficking. His involvement in human trafficking would not be endorsed by the Vinlandian state, and the state would prosecute him if his involvement in criminal activity is discovered.

The republic would wish to disable the trafficking ring by any means necessary, even those means of dubious legality and morality. If it's alright with you, I'd like to have an unrelated terrorist attack have occurred in Crockerland a few days prior to the events of the RP, being committed by a person in the country using a fake passport and identity, giving politicians an incentive to be able to take credit for the destruction of a crime ring with infrastructure to smuggle more such terrorists in.

Role(s) you wish to play in RP (in more than one sentence): I'd like to RP as the nation that rescues the victim via a joint Constable MI-5 raid on the Bloody Butterfly Syndicate/massage parlor or illegally licensed whorehouse run by said syndicate. Additionally, I'd like to help with recuperation of the victim through any means such as adoption if they're a minor, or possible deportation (might need to look into issues like this). I'd also like to if possible, be a part of some sort of naval interdiction with my navy further down the road after the end of the character arc, or even during the arc with smugglers trying to dodge Mediaman destroyers near Mediaman or international waters.

I am not sure how exactly the Avonian branch of the trafficking ring operates. Presumably local contacts are needed to get past customs and the end destination of the women is some sort of brothel, which is not run by the Sali and Koconos mafia, but some other crime syndicate (perhaps LCN?)

I do think we should skip over the rest of the trip from Sali and Koconos to Avon, because that can be revealed through the investigation. So, perhaps the next post should not be the rescue, but rather be the prologue for the rescue.
