Kitsuneki wrote:After a few days in the sea on a giant Lorcha. Prime Minister Kazumi is on the deck looking at the vast expanse of the sea while the Empress of Kitsuneki is on the bridge with Captain Michizoe Yosuke. PM Kazumi wearing a white shirt with his clothes being a bit damp due to the amount of days he has been at sea, his dark brown jacket over his shoulder being held by his hand just got cleaned on the way to Soleanna City, as he had got mud on it while he was at the port in Kitsuneki.
He was thinking why the Emperor of Kitsuneki wanted to send the Empress along with him, as he thought she might not be fit enough for a trip in the sea. Though his eyes then diverted to his boots which was covered in dirt still. He had an extra pair of shoes on the ship but those were for more informal purposes. He went inside the ship and into the room where all the sailors stayed. He took a shoe brush from a chair on the end of the room and sat on the chair with his back leaning away from backrest of the chair.
He then started polishing his shoes with the brush but while he was doing it he saw the Empress entering the room. "What is it my Empress," he asked.
"I was curious on why you came down here," she answered smiling at Kazumi,"Why are you brushing your shoes when you can order one of the sailors or my servants to do it?"
"I am a being representing the common people of Kitsuneki, I don't tend to have servants do my work or chores. Like many people who live in Kitsuneki." he says with such pride, as he felt that he was not depended on others to look after him.
"I see," she says, walking up to Kazumi and sitting on a bed that was next to him and leaning towards him,"Though you have a royal guard who protects you, that's what makes you a lot more different than an ordinary person in Kitsuneki." she smirks at the Prime Minister.
"Well you got me there. . ." he says, a sailor then enters the room, Katzumi and Empress Akagi Taeko's eyes drew upon him as he bowed very formally to them and then stood back up.
"Sir and my Empress, we have spotted land and the harbour of the Soleanna City, we shall reach there I believe shortly," he said, standing firmly.
"Thank you for notifying us, you may be excused," Katzumi says and the sailor goes back to the bridge,"Well I must scrub this shoe quickly before we reach the harbour. Wouldn't be a good first impression on us." he says. Brushing off the mud on his shoes and making them at least appear clean. "Well don't I ever wish for a goddess to somehow make my shoes look glamorous," he says in humor laughing softly. The Empress also laughing cheerfully at the joke.
"I do wish I had 3 more tails then I would have became a goddess," she said trying to follow up Katzumi's joke, looking at her 6 fox tails resting on the bed then looking to Katzumi, "though goddesses stay in the shrine for a most of their life, I don't find that very enjoyable, I only wish to travel abroad and explore new places," she responded, they both smiled at each other. Katzumi though then continued to brush him shoes, now knowing maybe why the Emperor sent the Empress with him abroad.

After finishing brushing his shoes, Kazumi got up from the chair, the Empress following him up towards the deck. The Lorcha had docked on the port, 2 crew members held a plank and set it on to the side of the deck facing the dock of the port. "Royal maids," he called upon their presence,"Bring thee Rickshaw,"
"Hai!" Heichō (Lance Corporal) Fuji Setsune.
Who then signaled Ittōhei (Private First Class) Kiyofuji Kissa. To bring out the Rickshaw. She took the handle and pushed it towards Setsune and stopped beside her, who then held the Rickshaw at the side to support Kissa when she was pushing it downwards on the giant plank which seemed frail but supported both the rickshaw and the Royal maids. When the rickshaw was on the dock the royal maids went back onto the deck to grab their Musketeers and Wakizashi, while the Prime Minister and Empress take their luggage. the Royal maids escorted the PM and Empress down the plank and onto Rickshaw, the maids started pushing when the Prime Minister signaled them to go on towards the Solventis Palace.

The Prime Minister along the way, was reading a book and admiring the architecture of Soleanna, while the Empress, is staring at the food markets serving the common people of Soleanna. Kazumi notices the Empress' indulgence to exotic and foreign food and smirks, "My word," Kazumi says very abruptly to the Empress, "Is our chef not good enough to satisfy your monstrous appetite?" he said, laughing very lightly.
The Empress wasn't very happy and took his book from his lap and smacked it on his head and in anger, hissed the word "baka!" and turned her back towards him.
"I am sorry, Empress, please don't take those words in heart," he replied trying to cheer her up.
"Don't make humorous comments on the royal diet the Empress has," says Setsune, looking at the Prime Minister, "After all, she has a love for food, "I see," he responds to the Royal maids, he then reads from his book.

The Empress, after awhile looks towards Kazumi and ignites a conversation, "So what will your reasons be for attending this Ball?" she asks.
"It's for diplomatic and economic reasons, we need to diversify our markets and try to stay away from any wars" he responds.
"And will there be food?"
"You and your 'royal diet', I believe we are staying here for awhile so expect food to be there for you to indulge my Empress."
"How long shall we be here for?"
"I say 3 days, including this one,"
"Very well then," she concludes.
"Prime Minister and my Empress, we have arrived, to the Solventis Palace." Fuji Setsune says.
"Thank you royal maids, you have done a good enough work from here, me and the Empress shall disembark," Kazumi says.
"Prime Minister, it's very ill-mannered to have our Empress trek the rest of the way here, get back on the rickshaw and let us take you there," Setsune replies.
"Ladies, you have done enough wa. . ." Kazumi was interrupted.
"Nonsense!" Setsune says thunderously,"We have been born and trained to walk a thousand miles on the scorched Earth,"
The Prime Minister, a bit shamed for putting them down was in an awkward position, though Empress Taeko touched his shoulders lightly,"Please excuse the Prime Minister for his language Royal Maids, he was only concerned of your condition," she said to her Royal maids, making them understand his actions.
"Very well my Empress," they say as they approach the Palaces gates, Kazumi feeling at ease. Then the Empress grips his jacket and brings him closer to her, whispering in his ears, "Don't disappoint the my husband, Prime Minister, the countries faith is in your hands, do remember," she then lets go of his jacket.
Kazumi feeling again at unease then replies,"Thanks for reminding me. . ."
"You're welcome! It's my duty to remind you of your role," she replies smirking at him.

The Rickshaw goes through the gates and into the palace grounds, "You may get off now" says Setsune, "Ittōhei Kissa, take the rickshaw somewhere appropriate,"
Kissa guided the Rickshaw towards the giant walls that separate the outside world and the palace and parked it next to it within the Palace ground.
Setsune was guarding the Prime Minister and Empress, Kissa when she finished parking the rickshaw near the walls of the palace. Then went to her usual job, guarding both the Prime Minister and Empress.
"So, what now Prime Minister Kazumi Keita?" Akagi Taeko questioned him,
"We shall wait upon the presence of the Emperor and Empress," he says, "You want a Kiseru?" he said taking the tubular shaft of bamboo.
"I believe it is illegal to smoke here" she says.
Then Kazumi puts the tubular shaft of bamboo in his pocket. "My bad," he apologises.

Wulfengard Delegation

The rhythmic canter of stallions nearby bothered Ragnus. It bothered him alot. Horses were not used as a means of transportation in Wulfengard, rather, the mammalian quadrupeds served the Lycan race as a source of food. A delicacy they were, not many Lycans could afford to feast on a horse on a daily basis. Those privileged enough to do so would acquire a palette revolving around the consumption of the creatures though there was an entire class of study dedicated to answering the question of whether the meat was better cooked medium or rare. The fence-sitters always argued for medium-rare but unfortunately for them, they were apart of a species that disliked half-arsing life and thus their voices fell on deaf ears.

Ragnus was someone that liked his meat raw. As raw as possible. His wayward attention was deftly detected however and a swift paw smacked the brown-furred Lycan's snout.

"Ragnus Seriksson! Can't you wait until we arrive?!" a husky voice broke out, its tone that of a scolding nature.

"My ba-"

"It better be your bad or another paw will come your way, son!"

Alidir the Bold. Or so that's what everyone called her. Ragnus was pretty much the only exception. He knew his mother as Alidir the Scold. Even the smallest, most trivial of slip ups was grasped upon by an iron paw by his mother and he would, once again, be reduced to a cub by her. She was one of the 2 beings in the world that made his life in Wulfengard a true test of survival. The other was sitting right beside his mother: Fenrir Seriksson. Fenrir the Wise. The Alpha of Wulfengard. The undisputed leader of over 5 million Lycans. And also Ragnus's father.

The aura exuded from the Alpha Lycan was near-suffocating for Ragnus. He was power exemplified. Compared to his father, Ragnus was pretty underwhelming. Shorter than his father and not much taller than his mother, Ragnus was only just above average height at 6 foot 1. Though he had yet to earn his own title from the field of battle, there were certain contemporaries of his that liked to call him Ragnus the Average. Not that they ever uttered those words in his presence for the son of Fenrir, though not particularly exceptional at anything, was no pushover.

A sudden stop signaled the end of the trip through Soleanna City. Light streamed into the carriage as the door was opened by their carriage driver, a fellow Lycan like them. And a particularly short one at that. However, despite being short, the driver was known to the family as a Stalker, a member of an elite, specialized Lycan unit. No risks could be taken with the Alpha's safety. They were in a realm far from home, after all, and almost everything that Ragnus had seen of Sol-Nippon told him that this was truly a foreign culture.

Exiting the carriage, Ragnus walked up ahead to give pats to the Dire Wolves that had pulled their carriage.

"Well done, boys, you deserve a good rest," he told the massive animals, almost breaking out in laughter when their tremendous tongues licked his paws.

In the carriages in front and behind them, hulking figures emerged. Adorned in shining, silver armor with fearsome spikes protruding outwards, the Lycan Guardians had accompanied the Alpha's family since their departure from Wulfengard to their arrival in Sol-Nippon. One of them walked up to Ragnus.

"Young sire, it's time to go," he said.

Giving one last pat to the wolves, Ragnus then joined his parents in their approach towards the entrance of the Solventis Palace. Flanked by the Guardians on both sides, the Wulfengard delegation made for an imposing sight. The weapons that the Guardians had slung around their broad backs accentuated their raw, physical power. Greatswords, waraxes, maces, the weapons of the Guardians were, in the hands a human, heavy 2-handed weapons. But in the grip of a Guardian, they were lightweight tools, mere supplements to their physical capabilities. Each Guardian was well over 6 foot, even the shortest towered over Ragnus. Yet, the biggest Lycan of the bunch was not an armored giant, no. It was Fenrir Seriksson himself, at 6 foot 8 inches, he was a walking tank of a specimen, as big as a Lycan could get without being apart of Beserkers.

Donning glimmering, golden armor with a black cape the size of a man flowing behind him, the Alpha of Wulfengard scrutinized the Solventis Palace through his piercing blue eyes, linear scars from past battles covering his hardened face. His thick mane of white fur bristled with glory, a large mane served as a symbol of masculinity for a Lycan male. Lycan females loved manes, the bigger the better. Just like wolves, Lycans liked to cuddle.

The Wulfengard delegation neared the entrance to Solventis Palace, their imposing appearances and powerful auras silently dominating the previously peaceful atmosphere of the Palace grounds. Fenrir's eyes suddenly narrowed. There was a man beyond him that stood out. And it wasn't because of his height, no, literally every foreigner he had met thus far had been the size of a Lycan cub. Instead, the Alpha of Wulfengard had distinguished the man's scent from the others, the man's aura of dominance over all those in his immediate vicinity.

Breaking ahead of his delegation, much to the displeasure of his wary Guardians for keeping safe a Lycan like Fenrir, who literally made for a big target, was the pure antithesis of easy, Fenrir Seriksson, Alpha of Wulfengard, strode towards the comparatively diminutive figure of Lawrence III, Emperor of the Sol-Nipponese Empire, and extended a gigantic paw out to the man.

"I've heard much about you, Laurentius Guren Hexafel Soria...Alpha of Sol-Nippon."

Vanq commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Hitler of NS.

"I took away Vanq's YB for deliberatly ignoring me"
"I know Vanq is a very good writer and this is how he treats someone of lesser skill?"
"I would love to have a writer of your caliber along for the ride"
"neo and vanq do a dbz fusion to form 1 big shitposter then get erased from NS by kyrusia"
"Which is the level of memeing I expect from Vanq"

As the nobility of the previous arrivals from Dessuar-Elsass & Mettenheim-Ravenstern seemingly flirted off somewhere in the Royal Palace, hopefully not damaging historic and priceless decor. Lawrence had an awkward moment with the Elsassian Military, something Mizuki, the Empress of Sol-Nippon had a slight laugh over. Nonetheless, the couple had regained their stature as Royals and subsequent host & hostess of the event. Mizuki had noted she sensed an aroma similar to that of a Kitsune, but it wasn't from Nippon but another land. She, lost in thought had wondered if they were a sect that broke away from the Empire. Lawrence had coo'd her over telling her not to think much about it, maybe after their greetings with up and coming guest.

Now that the Kitsune familiars had stepped of their stagecoach, Lawrence, as he did with the previous guests, having given his exalted speech to his homeland and bilateral-capital of Sol-Nippon. Noticing it happened to be Royal Government from Kitsuneki, one of the later replying guest to attend the Ball.

"Ahhhh, Welcome to Soleanna my Royal Guest from Kitsuneki. I'm keen you know who my wife and I are; if I am mistaken I sincerely apologize, but come closers, not need to wary of us. Mizuki the Empress and I Lawrence the Emperor of Sol-Nippon have no intentions of harming neither of our guests" said Lawrence.

“These must be the Emperor and Empress of this nation with exotic food,” Empress Akagi Taeko whispered to Prime Minister Kazumi,
He sighed, “Yes, they are,”

Prime Minister Kazumi stepped out and shook his hand with Emperor Lawrence, “I am very pleased to be welcomed into Soleanna and I also show gratitude towards you and the Empress for the invitation to the ball,” he said in appreciation. Extending his arm for enough room to bow. And return back to his posture, “I am Kazumi Keita, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kitsuneki,”

"As Prime Minister Keita bowed to Mizuki and Lawrence, they, in turn, bowed as a courtesy. Mizuki had noticed their culture is very similar to her own, making her overthink the possibilities of their ties to Nippon. Whilst, Lawrence continued the small talk in greeting the Empress & Prime Minister.

"It's a pleasure to have you here today, Your Majesty, and Excellency. I do hope Soleanna's hospitality will suit your taste. My wife and I do bid your travels here were safe and no obstructions have arisen?"

Following Lawrence's general conversation, Mizuki had questioned "Does the Republic by any chance hold past ties the Empire? Whether it was a colony or something else? Your culture is so similar to that of Eastern-Elashia? I'm quite awed to know."

Surprised that they in return bowed, though wouldn't be too harsh to question their culture, he replies to Emperor Lawrence's question, "We had no problems coming here whatsoever, my Empress would love the taste of your hospitality." he says smirking towards the Empress. The Empress jolted her arm pushing the Prime Minister a bit in annoyance of his jokes.

Though she was surprised when Mizuki said that their culture was alike another nation or was in ties with the 'Empire', thou she can't recall any ties with major nation in the Republican History books, she responds, "Well I can't remember anything about us being a colony or apart of a major nation but our culture may have been in influence with trading products, or maybe other kingdoms that have been conquered by our kingdom and have adopted their culture. We asserted religious laws into our society and families have followed the regulations of these beliefs for a quite awhile.”

"We're glad to hear that your travels were safe to the Radiant Sun Empire," said Lawrence in representation both Mizuki and himself as Sovereign. And In reply to the Prime Ministers remark on hospitality, "I'm confident that Her Majesty will be satisfied with what Soleanna has to offer."

Mizuki had awed a slight smirk of disappointment, in her curiosity of Nippon's relation with Kitsuneki. "How unfortunate, but nonetheless I would love to discuss more with you in the future."

Following, the small talk and formalities. Lawrence had pleaded to excuse Mizuki and himself a few other guests were in queue. He bid the Royals of Kitsuneki a farewell and directed them to their assigned attendant, who he once more stated that they'll take care of their every otherly need in Soleanna.

Fenrir was amused by how small a human's hand could be in his paws and let go, pleased that Lawrence was open for pleasantries with a Lycan. Usually, nearly all other beings would be too intimidated by their appearances to concoct even the most basic of sentences but not this man apparently. As was expected of another sovereign even if it wasn't always the case.

"My people are well accustomed to the seas though I must thank the Wolfmother for granting us passage through calm waters. If the season hadn't been so opportune for traversing the waters then I shudder to think of what our voyage would've been like for my delegation and I."

Turning his eyes on the even smaller figure of Mizuki, Fenrir gave a slight nod in her direction, "And this must be your mate? I am pleased to meet you too," looking back at Lawrence, Fenrir said, "I look forward to having productive discussions with you and may fruit come of those discussions for the betterment of both our nations."

Ragnus and Alidir emerged by Fenrir's side and the Alpha Lycan introduced them to Lawrence and Mizuki, "The beautiful one is my mate, Alidir, Alpha Female of Wulfengard. The other is my only offspring, Ragnus."

Alidir gave respectful nods to both Lawrence and Alidir. Then smacked Ragnus with her tail for the young Lycan had been in a state of shock to see the supposed Alpha of Sol-Nippon being so small. Blushing in embarrassment, he nodded in greeting too.

"brigadier general comes on, pulls a vanq and calls us all autistic"

Soleanna wrote:"We're glad to hear that your travels were safe to the Radiant Sun Empire," said Lawrence in representation both Mizuki and himself as Sovereign.

He bid the Royals of Kitsuneki a farewell and directed them to their assigned attendant, who he once more stated that they'll take care of their every otherly need in Soleanna.

waving goodbye to the Emperor and Empress, they then signaled their royal maids to follow them up to their accommodation with all their luggage and items.
The Empress takes one room with Heichō Fuji Setsune accompanying her while the Prime Minister takes the other room opposite to her's being accompanied by Ittōhei Kiyofuji Kissa, the rooms had a one king sized bed, a table with two chairs tucked in, a fireplace, a bathroom and a grand view of the Soleanna City. Prime Minister and Kissa meet up with the Empress and Setsune in her accomodation.
"Well it looks like I shall lend you both 2 shikibuton's for the night or two," Keita said, directing his statement to Setsune and Kissa, "So what are you planning to do my Empress," he noticed her looking at the city from the window.
"I'm going to go out and get us some food," she replied.
"I'm afraid you must rest right now Empress, we have been sailing on the sea for about a week or two so I best that we must rest now in our quarters for the day and tomorrow, I promise you there will be a feast," he explained, "Though I have brought a bottle of sake from the ship and some packed food if you want,"
Taeko sighed,"Very well, I shall dine with you,"

Kazumi Keita brings out a basket from his room which contains sake and a container filled with rice, he then takes out two small bowls and place them on the table and glasses next to them, he then puts the warm rice in the bowls and poured sake into the glasses.
He then gives another two bowls and glasses to the maids and told them to help themselves, "Itadakimasu" everyone said and began to eat and drink.
"So why do you not know where our culture or religious values come from Empress?" Prime Minister asked, glancing at her momentarily.
"Our ancestors language was not capable in writing down events or stories, I believe, if our culture was affected by the 'Empire' I believe it would have been around when we were just tribes of a land that was abundant of resources and were peaceful between each other," she replied.
"Could it be that the tribes maybe tampered with history? Or the 'Empire' must have withdrawn from the land and that must have sparked tensions between the tribes?"
"I wouldn't believe that our ancestors would lie to us, though maybe our unusual peacetime between each tribe could have been because of the Empire but that wasn't mentioned, though this has brought a lot of questions in my mind, I hope to one day see a straight path in our history and not one that goes in other directions,"
When the food was finished they all said "gochisosama" together. The Prime Minister and his maid went back to their quarters and rested there while the Empress and Heichō Fuji Setsune are resting in their quarters,

Lawrence was more or less baffled by their appearance but held his stature as a conceited monarch. Nonetheless, he felt they meant no harm and had hinted the palace guards to be at ease. Mizuki was more amused by Lawrence's reaction than the menacing appearance of the Wulfengard Delegation.

Soon enough, Lawrence had replied "Well well, aren't we one of the same. I was foretold this would be the most suitable time transverse the Great Disun Seas."

"Why yes, this my beloved wife, Mizuki." said Lawrence in response to Fenrir's inquiry.

Mizuki had replied with a slight smirk "A pleasure to meet you as well." as she gave a slight bow.

As Fenrir introduced his 'mate' and 'offspring', both Mizuki & Lawrence had paid their greetings.

Mizuki had led out a slight laugh, covering her mouth as she encountered the interaction mother & son.

Following, Lawrence had pleaded to excuse themselves and introduce them to their attendant. Whom was more or less frightened than eager to serve them, but came forth and introduced themselves as their attendant as they stay in Soleanna.

A large vessel emerged from the eastern horizon of the sea, its magical sails gently reflecting the sun's rays for onlookers to witness from miles away. As it gracefully sailed into the harbor and set itself at its mooring its origin became apparent to all of the fascinated onlookers who gazed upon it, the distinctive design and symbolism giving away its Qhamatian origin. Though it is unlikely the first ship from Qhamat to set out to Soleanna City, it was the first Qhamatian vessel of such grandeur and magical power to arrive here.

Qhamat has only maintained sporadic contact with Sol-Nipponese Empire, with distance being the greatest factor in this regard more so than any possible ill-will. The magics that Qhamat utilizes are nearly at their weakest here, being geographically opposite from the the continent of Arayah, thus Qhamatians, reluctant to travel so far from home, are a rare sight in these islands.

Stepping out onto the ship's deck as the ship's sails were closing emerged the Pharaoh of Qhamat; Horemheb III. The Qhamatian ruler looked out to the city before him, taking in the city's aesthetic and admiring its distinct architecture. Foreign from the styles found back in Arayah, but nevertheless charming in its own way.

"My Lord," the ship's captain said as he approached the Pharaoh from the lower deck before bowing. "The vessel to take you ashore has almost been prepared. You should be able depart the vessel within the next several minutes, or at your own leisure."

"My thanks," Horemheb replied simply, giving a nod to acknowledge the captain's efforts as the High Vizier came to speak with the Qhamatian monarch.

"So, this is the great port of Soleanna City," the Vizier commented as he came to view the city across the waters, casting a spell to magnify the view in front of them and revealing the population returning to their daily doings now that the sails were closed. "It would seem that our arrival has attracted some attention," he said chuckling. "Though I suppose that is not too surprising. It is not every day that rulers of so many differing lands have converged in a single place."

"So it would seem," Horemheb said as viewed the magnified view through his Vizier's spell. "I should remind you to keep magical use to a minimum when possible. While we are honoured guests here, we are still subject to our host's scrutiny. What is acceptable in Qhamat may not be here," he said as the Vizier closed his spell in adherence to his quest. "Do you have something to report to me?"

"Yes my Lord," the Vizier said as he detached a messenger scroll from his belt before handing off. "A request from Waset; the priests in the great temple of Amun wish to-"

"Summon forth an aspect in my absence?" Horemheb said cutting off the Vizier. "The High Priest should know he has my trust to conduct these rituals without my presence," he said as he viewed the scroll, written in hieroglyphic script; Qhamat's magical and religious form of writing. "Send word back to the temple that he has my blessings. And inform the palace that I am not to be disturbed until we begin our journey back or unless it is a matter of the utmost importance," the Pharaoh said as he closed the scroll, the hieroglyphic writings disappeared to make room for his message.

"As you wish."

A carriage, richly crafted from fine woods and gold, made its way through the streets of Soleanna City and towards the royal palace. Flying standards depicting the Ankh, the Qhamatian symbol of eternal life or the life-giving substances surrounding it, fluttered above the carriage, acting as a sign of the Pharaoh's blessing and good will towards this land its people. Surrounding the carriage are a company of 10 of the Royal Guards, though the Pharaoh maintains his doubts that they will need to be used to protect him here. The guards themselves are among the most skilled warriors in Qhamat, equipped with numerous enchantments across their armour and weaponry to further enhance their skill and prowess in combat.

As the carriage approaches the entrance to the palace a horn was sounded the captain of the royal guards, a traditional practice to dictate to the king's hosts or any spectators that the Lord of the Two Lands was now present in this place. After the carriage came to a halt one of the royal guards opened its door as the other nine kept watch as the royal household stepped out. The Pharaoh was the first to step out, dressed in traditional fine royal garnets and nemes headdress and wielding his Was-sceptre, the typical attire of the Lord of Qhamat. Proceeding Horemheb III was his consort and son, followed by at last the High Vizier.

As the Alpha of the Wulfengard Delegation had departed from their small yet entertaining conversation with the Imperial Couple. Following their departure had led to the arrival of the renowned kingdom of times old, Qhamat with the King or as preferred Pharaoh being the first to step out of the stagecoach. Lawrence was quite familiar with their culture as it's been prominent beyond the Solaria Desert with a mix of Ancient Rolancean architecture. According to Soleanna's history that is where some say the flame of hope or otherwise Solaris was originally residing. But enough said Lawrence to himself who was more or less fascinated by his country's ancient history.

Mizuki had stared at Lawrence in awaiting his person to take the lead in greeting their foreign guest. As Lawrence regained his thoughts, he had given a slight cough and continue with the greetings...

"Welcome to Soleanna, Your Eminence, Lord of Qhamat! I do inquire that your travels to Soleanna were safe and I'm sure you must be tired. But allowed me to introduce ourselves if you aren't aware. With the lady who stands beside me is Empress Mizuki of Nippon, my beloved wife and I am Emperor Lawrence II of Soleanna."

"Ismou, blessings upon you, Emperor Lawrence and Empress Mizuki. I am Horemheb III, Neferkheperu. I greet thee on behalf of all Qhamat and all her people, as well my accompanying entourage," the Pharaoh stated as he greeted who would be his hosts for the duration of his stay, respectfully giving a slight bow towards the rulers of this land. "May I introduce my consort, Aurera. My successor of my name, Horemheb. And my chief vizier and head of government, Garai Ka-neb," he said as he panned his hand in the order of which they stood.

"It is a pleasure and an honor to be invited to your land for such an event," the High Vizier stated before bowing in respect. "Our travels were granted favorable conditions, despite the distance. A good omen, if I may be so bold."

Mizuki had did a formal bow to the three individuals, as Lawrence relayed their names back. Following, Lawrence had replied as the conversation continued. "I'm delighted that you've accepted the invitation, and taken the will to make the trip to such a desolate location; It's a relief that your travels were that of something favorable. I was foretold it would be an excellent month to transverse the Vast Seas of Disun."

In the meantime, as Lawrence and Horemheb had conversed. Mizuki was fascinated by the craftsmanship of the jewelry that Lady Aurera was wearing, and inquired about its origins.

“I would not be one to miss such an opportunity, amicable seas or not,” the Pharaoh replied. “It has been long since one under the divine auspices of Horus, to who I owe my name, have traveled beyond the Great River. The prospect of conversing with the rulers of other lands who will be found here is an appealing and most generous offer.”

“Indeed. It is my hope that you will allow us to reciprocate. We have brought with us many gifts to present to you that we believe you find most desirable,” the High Vizier stated.

As the others conversed with the emperor Lawrence, Lady Aurera began to speak with empress Mizuki.

“I appreciate your compliments, and I must say the same for yours,” Aurera replied with a smile. “Most of what I have adorned myself with are newer crafts from a city known as Swenett, which houses many of the greatest jewellers in Qhamat. However, the greatest treasure I have been blessed with would have to be this,” she said pressing a hand on the broad necklace, the center piece scarab illuminating with a soft blue glow. “It is an enchanted heirloom that has been passed down by the Great Royal wives of our dynasty for the better part of three centuries I believe, though I am no historian. Supposedly it accumulates and brings about good luck.”

I would love to present you my heirlooms as well, but unfortunately, they're a distance away in Nippon..." As she said in a discontented way. Nevertheless, she recovered her stature while slightly covering her mouth.

Going back to the conversation of the Pharoah, High Vizier, and Lawrence... Lawrence had introduced them to their attendant who'll be in service to them as they stayed in Soleanna. As he pleaded that Mizuki and himself had matters that needed to be tended to, and subsequently wished to continue their conversation at the optimal time.

Dawn of the Following Day

Postby Sol-Nippon » Sat Apr 06, 2019 8:08 am

Previous Night

With the apparent arrivals of the guest. Lawrence & Mizuki had introduced themselves to their foreign leaders, who subsequently are their guests of honor. Having had short but memorable conversations with each arriving guest as an attempt in getting an insightful first impression. The Imperial Couple had also assigned personal attendants to each of their group of guests as they stayed in Soleanna and of course their own lobby of suites within the Palace. As the arrivals came to a conclusion, Lawrence & Mizuki had taken their leave as their last guest followed suit with their attendants to their suites for the evening. Dinner was served in the meantime, whether the guest wanted to eat in the seclusion of their suite or in the dining hall with any other wishing guest that made the choice. In that time, Lawrence had bid Mizuki a farewell with a kiss she departed to meditate in the Palace Gardens. Lawrence himself had departed to his study to compile paperwork before he headed off to his chambers.

Following Morning

With the dawn of light being ever so apparent, Palace staff were busy at work in prepping the palace ranging palace guards rotating their patrols, to servants tending to cooking, cleaning, and other trivial tasks that must be taken care of. At the sound of the 7th hour, the palace had slowed its paste as the earliest of their guests had awoken from their slumber.

PM Keita wakes up earlier than the Empress, he goes to the bathroom to quietly change his clothes, he puts on his brown coat, on and he took hold of the Kiseru he uses to smoke tobacco, he then closes the door of his suite very quietly so he doesn't disrupt anyone sleeping, he heads to the palace grounds and starts smoking the tobacco within his kiseru, his back against the palace walls as he looks up into the morning sky.

Minutes later, Empress Taeko awoken from her slumber, as well as her maid, Setsune, she asks her maid for personal assistance with her emerald colored dress for the ball. she puts on her geta and then knocks on the Prime Ministers door which his maid then opens the door,
"My Empress, the Prime Minister isn't present with me," Kissa says looking at her.

"Oh dear, I believe he then went out for a round of smoking," she said smirking.

With the commotion going on in the Suite of the Empress of Kitsuneki. Their assigned attendant had stumbled across to the door of the Empress' suite inquiring whether she was alright, but not without saying good morning to her first. While the Prime Minister had vacated his suite, the palace's cleaning brigade had stepped in to clean and tidy his suite as he was out.

As for the Imperial Couple, Mizuki had awoken from the comfort of her beloved to mediate for the morning to come. As she looked at Lawrence, she noticed he was k.nocked out as if he was beyond the realm of reality. She gave a slight laugh and smiled at her dead sleeping husband, but nonetheless regained her posture and had called forth her handmaids to dress her in a light robe to head out to the private gardens of the palace to mediate.

Continuing, the Palace was more or less prepping breakfast for their guest waiting for the call to deliver their meals. With the chefs feeling more than confident that Soleanna's cuisine will please their foreign guest.

The Empress along with one of her maids, Setsune, are escorted towards towards a dining area where they shall have their breakfast,

Kissa on the other hand, was looking for the Prime Minister, the Empress has told her that she would find him on the palace grounds, as he tends to only smoke outside, though once Kissa had located Prime Minister Keita, she said to him “The Empress demands your presence, sir, please follow me,”

“Very well,” Keita says, “Though may I ask why does she ask for me to come,”

“Do you wish for the Empress to dine alone during breakfast hours, sir?” She questioned Keita

“Not at all, please lead me the way,”

Kissa and the Prime Minister reach the dining area as well, the Prime Minister takes his seat next to Empress Taeko, he then takes his jacket off and gives it to Kissa to hold it.

“You seem very eager to dine my Empress,” Keita says with a smirk on his face.

“You know me very well Prime Minister and my indulgence to foreign food,” she responds.

As the Prime-Minister & Empress of Kitsuneki regrouped, their assigned attendant otherwise known as Valencia had escorted her priority guest to the dining hall where they would dine on breakfast. The hall itself was just as extravagant as the rest of the palace. However, it was more open to natural light as the curtains were pulled away, opening the room up to a grand view of what many would say the beautiful coastline of Soleanna. As Valencia and her priority had arrived at the banquet hall leading her guest to their designated table which was prepared for them to dine with a menu of Soleanna's breakfast cuisine. Although, they were not limited to only ordering breakfast but lunch as well as signifying brunch.

"Please, take your seats" said Valencia as their chairs were pulled out by other servants of the palace. "From the pamphlet rested on the table is that of what's being served for breakfast; However you are not limited to those options as you flip through the inner portion of the pamphlet... I'd personally recommend our Omelette, Mashed Potato & Bacon Casserole, and or what many refer to as french toast. However, if you're feeling light, I'd suggest our fruit salad."

Among the Qhamatians the High Vizier was the first to awaken. Despite being at the geographic opposite side of the globe the more important tasks and duties of his office would not carry out themselves. Thus he awoke early to inspect the various reports and messages at a simple table within his temporary room, using his magical prowess to connect a scroll back to the royal palace and high council. Maintaining such a union was a tedious task being so far away Qhamat, and by the time he assumed the Pharaoh has awoken he was drained of both his physical and spiritual energies. Concluding his brief messages with his post, he rendezvoused with the royal family who were finally prepared for the day ahead.

“My Lord,” the High Vizier greeted with a bow.

“Ra’s light upon you,” the Pharaoh replied, immediately noticing the Vizier appearing slightly drained of color and mildly exhausted. “I trust that you slept amicably, but are you well, my friend?” he questioned with concern and causing the Vizier to cringe with embarrassment.

It was clear to the Pharaoh that he had expended himself by attempting to carry out his function so far away from Qhamat. He had nothing but respect for his Vizier who tried to ensure all was well and taken care of back in the homeland, however as a High Vizier who was an adept magic user within the royal court of all places, being found in such a compromising position was embarrassing.

“Y-yes. Of course my Lord,” he responded quickly. “I endeavored to carry out some of my functions when I awoke my Pharaoh. I fear I did too much too quickly.”

“Don’t be so upset” the Pharaoh said chuckling. “It is unusual for us to be so far from the courts, just be more conservative with yourself going forward. You should get some food, though. It would do you some good especially before the events today.”

They (the PM and the Empress) raised up from their seats, bowing slightly towards the attendant in greeting her and followed the attendant. They followed her path into the dining hall where it seemed very galamorous like every palace dining area should be, especially the view caught their attention. They though were kept on track by their maids and were snapped back to the present time. They asked their maids to go back to their suites and to guard or clean their rooms, as they do not want to have maids with weapons in a dining hall. They sat down once again when asked to and shifted their seats inward towards the table so there was little gap between their bodies and the table. They then took out a pamphlet and started scanning through it, of course the Empress took her time to read everything they offered, as well as they heard what they have to offer.

“I shall take your personal recommendation, I surely want to try what you think is great, I would also some water please,” Empress Akagi Taeko says smiling at the Valencia, she turned her head towards the Prime Minister after that , “What about you, Prime Minister Keita?”

Prime Minister Kazumi Keita, in his white buttoned shirt, with elbow on the table and his fist against his chin supporting it as he didn’t lift it, and his arm stretching out with the pamphlet. When Empress asked him he closed his pamphlet and adjusted his posture,

“May I have the fruit salad, please, I would also like to have 2 more fruit salads for our maids as well in our suites,” he responds, reaching out for his pocket watch looking at the time for a moment until putting it back into the pocket of his black trousers.
